I love bao!!! And their bao was good too! I tried the candied pork bao and got an orange green tea. The drink was also refreshing and decently priced for the tea drinks. The shop was super cute too with all the cute kawaii decorations around. And the service was good, they brought me drink and food when done to the table, instead of just calling me over to pick it up. The small things make me appreciate it. lol

First time here and I was not disappointed. The high ratings are real. The food was made fresh to order. I had candied pork bao and sea salted matcha. Both were delicious. Bao was soft and slightly sweet. Sea salted matcha was creamy and not too sweet. Boba was slightly sweet with a perfect amount of chewiness just the way I like it. Service was prompt and friendly. Plenty of seating. Parking was easy. The shop sits further back from Foothill, so it's easy to miss it. It's in the little shopping center/strip mall between El Pollo Loco and Goodwill.

Yesterday my Taiwanese Uncle and I found a Taiwanese tea and bao cafe in Upland. We highly recommend their tasty fluffy gua bao made from scratch. Not only do they have handmade gua bao bread, they make own garlic sausage, candied pork belly, and mustard with care and heart. The candied pork belly was super tender, perfect texture, not too salty or sticky- and even has powdered peanut sugar she brings back from Taiwan. They also have a version with no nuts for those with allergies. She brings back Taiwanese tea for the boba drinks and hopes to share this tasty dish and our Taiwanese culture. We stayed to ask where they learned to cook.. and learned it all started from a caring father sending his daughter to America.Opened in 2024 by a Katy Wong who quit her corporate job to make thousands of bao in order to perfect this fluffy recipe. The Chef for all the Taiwanese meats is her son. I hope you will try it whenever you are near Upland Ca. It's a super tasty treat, great representation of Taiwanese street food and boba, and beautiful family story taking pride in what they create and serve.

So good! So so so good! If you haven't been yet, go to Teawich! Their food was so delicious. The flavor of their chicken bao was just yum! Our friends got the bowl, my husband and I both got the fried chicken bao and we all shared some of their tots. I really enjoyed my meal. You would think oh it's just a little bao. No! It's so filling and humongous. I honestly was barely able to finish one. Our friends ordered on Doordash for delivery since we wouldn't make it on time to dine in, but I realized that Teawich is right down the street from where my husband and I live. I'm mad at myself for not coming here sooner. We do plan to go again and eat inside and try some of their other food options. So glad we got to try some of their tasty foods and I look forward to coming back.

Family of four decided to grab lunch at TeaWich after checking out their ad on Facebook. It's a small family run restaurant that specializes in tea drinks and Bao - especially gua bao. The decoration is mostly eatery, traditional, and lots of personal touches. It's inviting and loving. We order the pork belly Bao (best), gua bao is fluffy just dense enough. Fried chicken Bao, the sauce is a bit overpowering but that's my personal opinion. It's a good fusion Bao. And last the traditional pork belly rice. It's right up there with my mom's own cooking, very good. Ingredients and food are made to order fresh and tasty. Service is a bit slower but generally very friendly and we strike conversation with family owner group. Good place to try gua bao and interesting fusion menu and creations.

After deciding I was not cooking dinner tonight, I turned to Yelp to find the next best thing--delivery! A few scrolls later, I stumbled upon Teawich and was instantly intrigued by the menu. The fried chicken bao and strawberry milk tea especially caught my eye, so I placed my order directly through Yelp, two hours in advance. I took a little nap, woke up to a notification that my food was on the way, and dove right in the moment it arrived. Everything tasted just as good as it looked--fresh, flavorful, and totally hit the spot! Trying a new spot can be a gamble, but I absolutely loved it. So much so that I'm already planning to come back with my partner and dine in next time. Teawich just earned a spot in my regular rotation!

We randomly stopped here on our way back to LA from Big Bear just looking for boba... and wow, this turned into one of the best food surprises ever. First of all, the owner is so sweet. She took the time to explain everything to us and you can tell she genuinely cares about what she's making. Almost everything is made from scratch, and it really shows. We originally came just for boba, but ended up completely blown away by the food. The candied pork bao bun is INCREDIBLE, easily one of the best bao buns I've ever had. The pork is perfectly sweet and savory and just melts in your mouth. The sides were just as good: the garlic fried rice was packed with flavor, and even the tater tots were next-level. And the boba?? That was what we went for, and it absolutely delivered. Super fresh, perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, we were genuinely shocked at how amazing it was. This place feels like a hidden gem you only find by accident, and I'm so glad we did. If you're passing through, DO NOT skip this spot. I'd honestly go out of my way to come back.

Foods: The baos and drink is amazing!!! Finially find a traditional taiwainese bao that is fresh. I got the fried chicken bao and I add avacado and egg on my bao. Its so...good and not oily! My friend got the pork and she love it too. We also got garlic tater tots which is good. I give it a 5/5. We both got plum green tea which is perfect. Services and the place: Such a cute little place with wonderful service. I will come back again to try there other bao. Price: The price is not bad if the foods is really good. Its worth every penny because my chicken taste fresh and not frozen. I hate the taste of frozen meat. If you guys want something simple and that make your tummy happy. Go try this small business .

First time trying teawich! I got their candied pork belly bao, sweet sausage rice bowl, and onion burger bao. As for drinks I got their mango green tea and taro cream smoothie. A bao was about $8. A bit pricey considering the size of the bao. The sweet sausage rice bowl was my favorite. All of their baos can be converted into rice bowls as well! I would probably opt for their rice bowls next time due to its proportions. Nothing too special for the drinks in my opinion (syrup/powder). I would probably pass on the drinks next time. The restaurant had lots of tables for seating. The service was great as well, the owner was really nice. I would come back!

What are the boa buns made of ? Are they sweet or just like a plain dough

It is plain but i personally think there is a natural sweetness. It was made of flour. Though It is not typically Chinese way , i think they did good job creating a new way to eat the bun.

The line was turning and twisting indoor and even went out the side door exit. You already know before ordering this place is legit and expected to have amazing food. They are the original home/founder of the Spicy Orange Chicken fries. The inspiration was from carne asada fries with a Chinese American food twist to it. They also have a secret menu item called the carry-out noodles, which consist of their chow mein with their spicy house sauce and orange chicken stir fried together. And of course, like any other Chinese American takeout/fast casual location they are known for their 1,2,or 3 item combo with the 3 item being only $13.59. That alone can feed a family of 3-4 people. I had the pleasure to meet the owner and his staff behind scenes and everyone was incredibly hospitable, efficient, and welcoming! There is a sense of closeness and comfort I of course had to order their popular and viral dish (the Spicy Orange Chicken fries) and wanted to take on the carry-out noodles and see what it's all about! Spicy Orange Chicken Fries - 5/5 I couldn't believe how well this worked together. Stir fried in their extremely hot wok along with chili pepper, crinkle fries, orange chicken, topped with shredded cheese, special spicy house sauce, and green onions. Simple yet packed with flavors! The fries were crispy along with the orange chicken that was cooked separately in coated battered. Every bit is packed with flavor and crispiness. I could barely put much in my mouth because each ingredient holds its integrity on its shape. Carry Out Noodles - 5/5 Noodles are bouncy and chewy with a slight kick to it. The orange chicken held its integrity and wasn't soggy. The dish itself did not taste as though it was drenched in sauce, but was nicely coated on top. 3 Item Combo - 5/5 I got the chow mein&fried rice as the base. My three items were bbq pork char siu, beef broccoli, and steam vegetables. The char siu was perfectly cooked with the right amount of chewiness and although they poured the sauce on top, it was not drenched in the sauce. The beef broccoli had tender beef and the broccoli itself was crunchy and fresh. Steamed vegetables was how I remember it to be. The spicy orange chicken fries and carry out noodles are only made to order and not readily available. I just love that because it guarantees its freshness and comes out piping hot!
