First time coming with my family and had an amazing experience. All the staff made us feel welcomed. Food was delicious and live music was the cherry on top. We will definitely be back

I treated my daughter and myself to this wonderful local place. Always such a clean restaurant. We started off with a Thai Iced Tea and 6 Crab Rangoon as an Appetizer. Love the orange dip sauce and small crispy noodles. She ordered the Rama Chicken which has a great peanut sauce. I got the Chicken Pad See Ewe. Both excellent choices! A guy was playing soft live music in background and they have great table service here. A simple, beautiful place to eat! We will be back again soon!

Summary: Thai ivory has fantastic flavors, decor, and service. But for portions and value, overpriced Thai ivory is a lovely little restaurant with Thai inspired decor. Walking into this place genuinely called back to my experience in Thailand resorts from years before, and the care the owners put into their restaurants ambiance and decor are of a similarly high level. I was immediately impressed with how lovely the interior was, it is a fantastic spot for a dinner date, or friends/family night out. Service was superb. The host takes pride in his restaurant and culture and it shows. He had a neat and professional vest, button down shirt, and was very put together. He greeted us with a smile, answered questions, and made us feel welcome though we had never been here before. Though English isn't his first language, he gladly communicated flavors and cuisine to us, and even pointed out his authentic Thai basil that Americans couldn't handle (lol). Everything was very quick, I don't think we were there longer than 20 minutes in total. Flavor wise, the food is fantastic. Every dish was aromatic and rich in spices and herbal flavors. If you want tasty Thai flavors, this is the spot. HOWEVER. I am dissatisfied in their portion sizes and actual content of their dishes. For 50$, I feel as though the quantity of the whole dish, as well as the amount of proteins (e.g. chicken, beef, pork) that were in each dish are far too low to justify the cost. Our green curry and pad Thai had maybe 3-5 pieces of meat in them at all. Though the flavors were great, I walked away from the meal highly dissatisfied and disappointed. Considering the amount of care displayed in the decor and service, I wrongly assumed the chefs would want the customer to feel like they've eaten a meal as well. And at the end of the day, I go to a restaurant to eat food. I'd rather eat on the side of the street if it meant tasty food of good value. Which means Thai ivory hit only 50% of that requirement. Not worth my money. 3/5. +1 star if they can fix their portion sizes.

Vegetable Egg Rolls & Pad See Ew w/ Chicken

Ordered their Veggie Egg Rolls and Chicken Pad See Ew for lunch. Portions were great. The egg rolls were crispy and flavorful. The pad see ew was pretty good. The noodles weren't mushy and there was a decent amount of chicken. It was a pretty solid meal.

I ordered a bbq pork fried rice and was excited to have for my late lunch but got disappointed when I got a wrong order. I immediately called the resto to ask about it but instead of saying oh yeah we Made a mistake the owner or manager said thats how the pork bbq fried rice is! Nope its not! The picture on the menu says different vs the one I got. And too much cilantro or whatever it is in there. Totally disappointed.

My friend and I were really craving mango sticky rice after dinner one day. We called a bunch of Thai restaurants and this was one of the only ones that had it in season. We arrived, ordered the Z mango, sticky rice, and ice Thai tea and iced coffee. The drinks were great - perfectly sweet! The mango sticky rice was even better. Warm, soft chewy and fresh! The rice had a slightly toasted flavor and the texture was just sooo good. And it came in the shape of a heart! Service was fast and amazing, Very homey atmosphere and chill music (live singing from one of the sweet owners!). We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu, and more sticky rice!!!

Great Thai food with amazing customer service! The staff was warm and attentive, the ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the decor added a really nice touch to the overall experience. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

    S2. Tom Kha Soup
    Andi R.

On this rainy day my late dinner cravings for hot soup were satisfied beyond expectations. The Tom Kha is one of the best I've tried in the area in 8 yrs of living here. It was creamy, packed with flavor, but also light and refreshing. I mean just look at those beautiful colors of the soup. The tomatoes and mushrooms were fresh and just overall delicious. I can't wait to try their other entrees. A+ for the Tom Kha delivered quick and for low delivery fee on Uber Eats

We were seated quickly and taken back by how vibrant the interior was. We decided to order multiple plates and share so we ordered Dumpling Soup, Grilled Swai, Chicken Katsu Curry, and Garlic Noodles. Everything was so delicious but the Garlic Noodles were the star of the show for me. They weren't dry or oily, it was the perfect texture. They even brought us chili oil. We ended up getting Milky Buns for dessert which tasted like warm beignets. The prices also weren't bad at all for the amounts that we got. We also utilized the lunch special and happy hour so our portions were a bit smaller. Amazing service with friendly staff. Love this place and can't wait to be back.

6pm, Friday, September 19, 2025…read more It was hopping in downtown Claremont. My date had a certain place in mind though... House of Pong Asian Fusion. It was my first visit here but it won't be my last. I had already did my browsing of what's on the menu. I joined in on the crispy tofu for the appetizer and the crispy salmon skin salad. When we walked in it was busy. The Dodger game was on at the bar. There were maybe three open tables at most. We were seated at their small table against the wall. A cozy table for two. We were greeted by our friendly server, she brought the menus and ask us about drinks to start. I've water all around, haha. She came back with our water. Ooh, tasted like cucumber water... Refreshing. While my lady was deciding, I ordered: crispy tofu appetizer (presented in a small dish, about 10-12 pieces of hot, crispy cubes of golden tofu with a dipping sauce) and the salmon skin salad for my entree. The salad was an ample sized serving to share between the two of us. The salmon skin was julienned and were crispy little clumps like miniature fishy hash browns. Very crispy and tasty salad that included sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and scallions on mixed greens. My date ordered the charshu ramen. We shared our plates. The ramen was very tasty. The noodles had a good chew, not over cooked. Mmm, that was delicious. The robotic server was kitchy and cute. Maybe it does assist them with delivering plates to the table but the human server was observed transferring them from the bot to the table. For our table, we had our food delivered in stages not at the same time. The crispy tofu arrived first, then the ramen, and several minutes later came the salmon skin salad. Not a deal breaker but noticed. Food was good. Service was okay, could be better.
