Asian guy at the front was really rude for no apparent reason to. I came here a few times had a great experience when the other gentlemen were here. Additionally, there's a big health and safety hazard at this restaurant, which is overseen by many; almost all of the noodle packets are expired plus the eggs they gave me were rotten and disgusting. When I told the Asian man at the front for a new egg, he seemed like I was the issue for being a nuance to him. The new egg he gave me was also rotten. I then told him twice the eggs are no good here. This is the second one and it's rotten. He gave me a really dirty look and got a new egg for me. WHICH WAS AGAIN ROTTEN.. at that point, I was so fed up. I just ate my food and left the egg. I was kind of expecting as a business owner to have more care and empathy for his customer so they would continue to return and generate more revenue. Mind you the rotten egg story happened more than twice with different staff. The difference is they were not as mean about it. The wings are good. I will give Credit where do. I stopped by Wings and Bowls before the game, and I'm glad I did. I ordered the Spicy Korean, Honey Barbecue, Buffalo, Garlic Parmesan, and Lemon Pepper wings, and every flavor was outstanding. The Spicy Korean, Honey Barbecue, and Buffalo wings were perfectly sauced with great flavor in every bite. The Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper were served as crispy dry-rub wings, and they had an amazing crunch while still being juicy on the inside. The wings here are very very good! I love them plain and dressed. But, the plain wings have a perfectly crisp texture and the wings are steaming hot, seasoned well and juicy. We also had the garlic noodles. They weren't as garlicky for my taste but the wings definitely make up for it. read more

Saw Wings & Bowls, which seemed to have the healthy component of healthy rice bowls but still have the late-night snacks that consisted of fried foods. Located fairly near the 10 Freeway with plenty of street parking. It was pretty empty on a Sunday night, but there was a steady stream of customers entering and leaving. Lots of options with Korean rice bowls, instant ramen, and bone-in or boneless wings. We opted for an order of wings with two different flavors - soy garlic and spicy bomb wings. And I couldn't not order some fries! Food came out fairly quickly with everything tasting really good. I enjoyed the soy garlic wings - they were really big and super meaty without being too dry. The spicier option was okay, not the type of flavor I usually enjoy, but I can see why people enjoy it. Fries were on point. We got a large amount for the order. Workers are friendly and quick to assist. We were in and out in under an hour. Lots of seating inside the restaurant. I can see it being more of a place for larger parties as the music is loud. It's a medium casual restaurant with a few tables inside if you want to dine in. A lot of students pick up food from here though! The person at the front was really nice, he recommended that I get dirty fries and split them up into different boxes, so I could eat what I was craving for a reasonable price. Their biggest sell is the texture of their wings - really nice crunch and tenderness when eating them. The flavors were interesting, but not fully my preference. I knew there was a fairly new place in the Claremont area off Indian Hill, but I didn't know it was this place. It's inconspicuous and a bit hidden since it's the southernmost location right before the railroad tracks. I came here for dinner since I was walking in the area, and I decided to try. There were two groups--a group of guys hanging out and laughing and another family who sounded like they've been here before. The chicken wasn't dry and really tasty! The garlic noodles were pretty awesome, and I can never get too much garlic. The owner runs the show, so there were times when he was gone or taking care of other stuff when some Uber eats guy came in and waited for a bit to pick up his order. It's a great place if you're in the mood for chicken. I'd like to come back and try some ramen with the amount of selection I've seen here. The guys who were here ended up having a conversation in Korean (i believe), and it was cool to hear them connect. The guys bowing before they left was just cool to see also. Respect. I really hope this place does well and the local and surrounding communities come and support. Have a chicken spot that's in walking distance is a huge plus. Saw a crazy good online video ad for this place online so ya, I bit....Its next to the railroad tracks in downtown Claremont. I ordered Garlic noodles and wings while my girl had build your own Ramen. While I like the concept, it was executed with incompetence. The kid behind the counter looked at me like I was nuts when I asked: "ok so what should I do for 'build your own ramen'?" Woefully unhelpful...There were no directions but you order a ramen bowl, choose what toppings you want, then pick your Ramen pack from the selection on the wall, then, they bring you a bowl with your toppings. You then drop your noodle block into the bowl, then you use the hot water machines to add water. No directions anywhere. I was so put off I almost asked for my money back and just walked out. Eureka burger is right around the corner. It ALWAYS hits right. No directions required. Wings were very good. Crispy and a good size, the sauce on them was quite tasty. I chose Spicy Bomb sauce. The garlic noodles were NOT good however. Too al dente, and were nothing but rubbery ribbons of noodles that were hard to chew which was highly disappointing. If you come here, venture the build a ramen bowl, it was ok... Order some wings, they were good. steer clear of the garlic noodles. There might be some other things on the menu worth trying. Even though the wings had a nice glaze coating on them when you bit into the wing it had a nice crunch. The Spicy Korean Wings had just the right amount of heat and the Honey BBQ Wings had nice sweetness to them. The noodles were cooked well but could have had a bit more garlic. After getting out of class, I was looking for a meal and this place was still open. I decided to give them a chance and unfortunately that's all I can give them because I probably won't be back. I ordered the Steak Nachos and Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. Out of the two I did like the nachos, but not enough to where I would order it again. It's a good enough portion to share but the flavors just didn't hit. The steak was marinated in an extremely sweet sauce. I might have thought it was some kind of weird dessert if I closed my eyes. I prefer this style of nacho cheese but it's not saying much because I'm sure it came out of a can. The guacamole was bland and the jalapeños weren't spicy but they were really salty. I took a few bites of the chicken bowl and was done. I couldn't finish it because it just wasn't good. They use chicken breast which is probably one of the worst to use in this application because it dries out extremely easily and gets tough as it cools down. The rice tasted old and the texture was dry and hard. The toppings made absolutely no sense. You get two mounds of cold sides which will only work to cool down the rice and chicken. There seemed to be shredded egg covered in a sweet and creamy sauce and then a bed of coleslaw. Extremely unnecessary and doesn't work together at all. Again, the sauces were so sweet. I am thoroughly convinced that they're named Wings and Bowls because you will want to grow wings and fly far away. The service was also so bad. I think they got the Bowls part of their name because all the workers smoked hella bowls before their shift. The cashier that took my order seemed uninterested and also moved pretty slowly. I have no idea how many people they had in the kitchen but they also moved slowly. The cashier told me my order should be ready in 10 minutes but I waited 20-25 minutes. Absolutely love this place! They have so many sauce options and various rice bowls and sides. This place is perfect to order for a group, there's something for everyone. Their website has online ordering and offers curbside pickup. We got 6 Korean wings, 6 angry pineapple wings, spicy pork bowl, onion rings, and the garlic noodles. Everything was delicious. I loved that they used fresh garlic rather than the jarred stuff for their noodles. My only complaint was that the cabbage salad was bitter.
