Wings
Jonnell T.

The wings here are very very good! I love them plain and dressed. But, the plain wings have a perfectly crisp texture and the wings are steaming hot, seasoned well and juicy. We also had the garlic noodles. They weren't as garlicky for my taste but the wings definitely make up for it.

Was driving through the area and decided to look for open restaurants that had fairly cheap yet quick meals. Saw Wings & Bowls, which seemed to have the healthy component of healthy rice bowls but still have the late-night snacks that consisted of fried foods. Located fairly near the 10 Freeway with plenty of street parking. It was pretty empty on a Sunday night, but there was a steady stream of customers entering and leaving. Lots of options with Korean rice bowls, instant ramen, and bone-in or boneless wings. We opted for an order of wings with two different flavors - soy garlic and spicy bomb wings. And I couldn't not order some fries! Food came out fairly quickly with everything tasting really good. I enjoyed the soy garlic wings - they were really big and super meaty without being too dry. The spicier option was okay, not the type of flavor I usually enjoy, but I can see why people enjoy it. Fries were on point. We got a large amount for the order. Workers are friendly and quick to assist. We were in and out in under an hour. Lots of seating inside the restaurant. I can see it being more of a place for larger parties as the music is loud. Tl;dr - definitely give this place a shot if you're craving wing! Not sure how the other items are, but the wings and fries were solid.

Garlic Fries & Chicken Teriyaki Wings (Boneless)

Wings & Bowls is a Korean chicken/bbq restaurant near Keck Graduate Institute with free street and slanted parking nearby. It's a medium casual restaurant with a few tables inside if you want to dine in. A lot of students pick up food from here though! The person at the front was really nice, he recommended that I get dirty fries and split them up into different boxes, so I could eat what I was craving for a reasonable price. The portion was decent for the price as well. The food was very flavorful - the wings were balanced and crispy and the fries were salted well and coated with fresh garlic. However, our wait was a little long, but the ambiance inside was nice for talking, so I didn't mind. I'd come back again to try other dishes!

Chicken Bowl

I am a huge fan of chicken wings and these chicken wings did not disappoint. Located in the Claremont village area. Cute small restaurant. We were warmly greeted by the cashier. My husband was not in the mood for chicken wings so he got the chicken bowl and he was shocked at how big the chicken bowl was. Huge serving of rice and chicken with some salad and corn. I ordered the garlic Parmesan chicken wings with the bone and the garlic noodles.. these chicken wings were crispy, meaty and huge! They were delicious . The garlic noodles was ok but the chicken wings were definitely the star. Love that they are open late and will Definitely come back again.

Mango Habanero Wings

Was craving wings and was in the area so stopped in. It was a pretty quiet place for a Wednesday night, but servers were nice. Their biggest sell is the texture of their wings - really nice crunch and tenderness when eating them. The flavors were interesting, but not fully my preference. Mango habanero leaned more Mango than spicy, and lemon pepper leaned more sour. My only real complaint though is that the wings run a bit small. Would come back though!

DELICIOUS FOOD! 10/10 Looking for a local noodle shop? They have endless BULDAK noodle options! I felt like I was in a South Korea drama just in the presence of it all. I ordered the wing bowl with garlic noodles and OMGGGG! Love the flavor of the BBQ wings we got! The garlic noodles were okay, I think the wings were perfectly crisp and cooked and so tasty! I can't wait to come back and try their other flavors! We also ordered the dirty fries with teriyaki chicken and WOW! The flavor of that teriyaki chicken is insanely good! Everything was delicious ! It came out to $37.09 ( I got a fountain drink and added a $2.00 tip) The person on the register was very nice! When I got there, two tables were being used and many people came by to order and check out this place. You can tell it's popular. The music they play is great! Not too loud and not too low. I give it a 5/5! I really cannot wait to come back and try their other menu items and noodles !

Spicy garlic noodles with teriyaki chicken and bulgogi beef

The noodles are bland and dry do not taste like garlic noodles at all, the spicy Korean wings were super soggy . Was very disappointed especially with all the high ratings. Ordered off door dash and the restaurant used foil to cover the plates and it was BARELY covered this is so unsanitary . Other than tasting the food it was a waste of money sadly

Lemon pepper wings with chili garlic noodles (they're super spicy)

This place has amazing wings although Im giving 4 stars because I got the garlic noodles (spicy), the worker told me they weren't that spicy but my lips were burning / tingling and I had to go to insomnia cookies to get ice cream. Normally I handle spice very well. I had to throw away my food because it was uneatable .

I knew there was a fairly new place in the Claremont area off Indian Hill, but I didn't know it was this place. It's inconspicuous and a bit hidden since it's the southernmost location right before the railroad tracks. I came here for dinner since I was walking in the area, and I decided to try. There were two groups--a group of guys hanging out and laughing and another family who sounded like they've been here before. The chicken wasn't dry and really tasty! The garlic noodles were pretty awesome, and I can never get too much garlic. The owner runs the show, so there were times when he was gone or taking care of other stuff when some Uber eats guy came in and waited for a bit to pick up his order. It's a great place if you're in the mood for chicken. I'd like to come back and try some ramen with the amount of selection I've seen here. The guys who were here ended up having a conversation in Korean (i believe), and it was cool to hear them connect. The guys bowing before they left was just cool to see also. Respect. I really hope this place does well and the local and surrounding communities come and support. Have a chicken spot that's in walking distance is a huge plus. Cheers, and enjoy if you come here!

We ordered the garlic noodle bowl and their buffalo bone in wings. 10/10 the perfect amount of crispy but juicy. . . Definitely going to crave this again. We also their dirty fries those were 9.5/10 . Then we ordered their pork dumplings 5/10 not my favorite. Service was pretty quick and the guy working was really friendly and helpful in giving us his recommendations. The inside was aesthetically pleasing and clean.

I love Dr. Pepper, so I was disappointed to find out they were out of it. I placed an online order, and the estimated wait time said it would be ready instantly, which didn't seem right. I still arrived 20 minutes later, just to be safe, but ended up waiting a total of 42 minutes for our food. The staff did apologize for the wait and explained that they were swamped, which I appreciated. The curbside option was also a bit confusing--there's no parking outside because it's a red zone, which made pickup tricky. That said, the food was absolutely worth the wait! It was delicious. I tried their signature Wing Bowl with garlic noodles, and my husband had the Angry Pineapple wings--both were amazing. We also ordered the truffle fries. They were colder than the rest of the food but still tasted good. I'd love to try them properly next time! I would definitely come back and highly recommend the signature Wing Bowl--it's a must-try!

We were seated quickly and taken back by how vibrant the interior was. We decided to order multiple plates and share so we ordered Dumpling Soup, Grilled Swai, Chicken Katsu Curry, and Garlic Noodles. Everything was so delicious but the Garlic Noodles were the star of the show for me. They weren't dry or oily, it was the perfect texture. They even brought us chili oil. We ended up getting Milky Buns for dessert which tasted like warm beignets. The prices also weren't bad at all for the amounts that we got. We also utilized the lunch special and happy hour so our portions were a bit smaller. Amazing service with friendly staff. Love this place and can't wait to be back.

6pm, Friday, September 19, 2025…read more It was hopping in downtown Claremont. My date had a certain place in mind though... House of Pong Asian Fusion. It was my first visit here but it won't be my last. I had already did my browsing of what's on the menu. I joined in on the crispy tofu for the appetizer and the crispy salmon skin salad. When we walked in it was busy. The Dodger game was on at the bar. There were maybe three open tables at most. We were seated at their small table against the wall. A cozy table for two. We were greeted by our friendly server, she brought the menus and ask us about drinks to start. I've water all around, haha. She came back with our water. Ooh, tasted like cucumber water... Refreshing. While my lady was deciding, I ordered: crispy tofu appetizer (presented in a small dish, about 10-12 pieces of hot, crispy cubes of golden tofu with a dipping sauce) and the salmon skin salad for my entree. The salad was an ample sized serving to share between the two of us. The salmon skin was julienned and were crispy little clumps like miniature fishy hash browns. Very crispy and tasty salad that included sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and scallions on mixed greens. My date ordered the charshu ramen. We shared our plates. The ramen was very tasty. The noodles had a good chew, not over cooked. Mmm, that was delicious. The robotic server was kitchy and cute. Maybe it does assist them with delivering plates to the table but the human server was observed transferring them from the bot to the table. For our table, we had our food delivered in stages not at the same time. The crispy tofu arrived first, then the ramen, and several minutes later came the salmon skin salad. Not a deal breaker but noticed. Food was good. Service was okay, could be better.
