I've ordered DoorDash from here twice. The food is delicious and prices are great. The real reason for the yelp review is the egg flower soup. It may be my favorite of all time. It was topped with fresh cilantro, silky, savory, thick and comforting, and super flavorful. After being hung over all day, it was the only thing that made me feel better. The soup is a must try for this fall/winter season.

Something has changed when I first came. I used to love it. There was a very sweet older lady and my order was always perfect. They even made chicken and rice bowls, which I love so much especially trying to eat healthy. Today I went the lady was gone. This is the second time she wasn't there and this time when I ordered my order is completely wrong. They gave me breaded chicken with sauce on it and stirfry rice, which was not what I was looking for especially because I used to love there for just their plain teriyaki chicken, no sauce and white rice bowl. I even clarified what I was asking for and they made me feel as if they understood but it looks like my order was messed up again this time. I also ordered a side of chow mein and the noodles are stiff/hard to chew overcooked. Nothing like it used to be I'm so sad. I used to love it here. I'll try one more time after this, but we will see. I hope things change.

HIDDEN GEM. Today my wife and I tried Happy Wok. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was impeccable. The ambiance is a little bit 'hole-in-the-wall' but the restaurant is clean and organized. We tried the Kung Pao chicken, Orange chicken, Spicy chicken, and the broccoli beef. Everything was delicious and woked fresh. Note: the Spicy chicken was spicier than the Kung Pao. I'd recommend all four. The Kung pao was my favorite. All in all it was amazing to find fast food Chinese food being cooked fresh to order. The veggies especially were crisp, fresh, and cooked al dente. Way to go Happy Wok!

It's a family tradition to stop by here before we continue on our road trip to Las Vegas. Been doing that every since I was a kid and up until adulthood until my parents decided it was better if they just went on vacation on their own without me and my brother. I believe they got big enough to absorb the restaurant right next door. Service is as with most other Asian places. They're there, you get food, and that's that. Sometimes by the fact of just being Vietnamese you can converse with other Viets, but they don't push it here. Perfect, casual ambiance. But can get busy for the lunch rush, at least when we visited. As always, I get the Pho Tai, my go to for every pho place. Super flavorful and full tasting broth, decently tender enough meat with a normal amount (not too generous, but not skimping out either). Noodles had the perfect texture. You get all of the veggies and other toppings quite generously as well. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but for the times I visited it hit the spot.

Stepping in the first thing that hits you is the ambiance--there's lights, music and even a fog machine popping off. If it wasn't for the smell of food I would've thought we stepped into the club! I dug the vibe though, and sitting down the service was quick and friendly which is always appreciated. They have a large menu, so plenty of options, and I went with a filet mignon pho, some egg rolls and a vegetarian banh mi. I stepped in thinking all the effort was going into the ambiance, but I was wrong. The soup was amazing, and the sandwich and egg rolls were perfect to share. All in all a great spot for a late night pho or healthy bite to eat, would definitely recommend if you don't mind the ambiance!

I was craving something after watching The Odyssey and this place was right down the street. Convenient for me! There was no wait when I arrive, and it generally didn't seem too busy while I was there. The restaurant is clean, and the employees seem to get along well with each other, joking and chatting in their down time. It has a chill vibe. I don't think I got much, in the way of service, but that's fine since I didn't really need anything. Napkins and sauces are on the table, and I was given a water refill once. The food itself, on this visit, was decent, but I think I've had better Com Bo Luc Lac (Filet Mignon & Rice) at some other pho places. Some of the meat chunks were stringy and had like tendon bits inside. I'm a big fan of tender pieces, but I'd say that maybe 10-15% of the meat in here wasn't the tender bites of filet mignon I expected. The flavor was solid, and I enjoyed that it felt like a balanced place. The large bowl of soup on the side was a huge plus for me. I usually get way less side soup at other places for the same dish. Overall, this specific experience was good. I think that the pho here is great, as I had pho the other two times I've been here and I think it's great. I'd strongly recommend the pho options, if it's your first time eating here.

They always have a lot of seating and are always willing to help if you have any questions or need any additional service. Their menu is extensive and they have a bunch of items, but my favorite thing to order there DIY spring rolls, as well as bun bo hue. To be honest, you could order almost anything on the menu, but those are my go to. It is quite loud in there, but there's always people inside, enjoying their food. It's a place to go and it reminds me of home when I can't get home made food. There's a bunch of TVs around if you feel like watching the news or any sports, their restrooms are relatively clean, and their parking is in a huge plaza so depending on the time you go, there should be parking! This is my place to go... I'm already thinking about when I'm going next.

The food tastes authentic, the quality is amazing, and everything is so rich and flavorful. You can really tell they care about the food they make. It's located on the corner to the right side of Hong Kong Plaza near Haven City Market, and honestly this restaurant really stood out to me. I already love this plaza, but this place quickly became one of my favorite spots there. One thing I really love is their pork spring rolls. They make them fresh when you order, and you can definitely taste the difference. They're so fresh, delicious, and honestly one of the best spring rolls I've had in a while. They also do catering, which I definitely plan on using in the future if I ever host a party or birthday because the food is just that good. I only had one issue during one of my visits. I can't eat cucumber, so I asked for no cucumber in both my pork dish and spring rolls. They accidentally still included it in my pork dish. Thankfully, when I brought it up, they fixed it quickly and apologized right away, which I appreciated a lot. I still love this place, but I do think it's important for people with allergies or food restrictions to double check their food before eating, just to be safe. Besides that, everything else has been amazing. The restaurant has a really calm atmosphere with lots of greenery and that open, cozy Vietnamese restaurant feel. The workers are also really kind and welcoming every time I come in. I also appreciate how authentic this place feels. Whenever I'm trying food from another culture, I always want something that feels genuine, and this place definitely gives me that experience. I come here a couple times a month now, and it's honestly one of my favorite places to eat. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the cucumber issue, but overall the food and experience are still amazing.

When we first walked in, the place looked empty, and my wife and I almost considered leaving. Just as we were about to head out, a server came over, seated us, and explained the menu. The $45 menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes such as escargot (ốc), pho, and bò né (Vietnamese sizzling beef steak), among many others. We ordered escargot with tamarind sauce, oysters with cheese, a lobster special, rau muống (water spinach) with garlic, glass noodles, and a ribeye steak. This isn't a typical buffet--each dish is cooked to order. It took about 15 minutes since there were only two chefs, but the wait was absolutely worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The lobster was a whole lobster with claws, and the ribeye was a generous cut served sizzling at the table. The portions are large, and our server kindly warned us ahead of time--we're glad we listened! The owner was friendly, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. My wife and I loved this place and will definitely be coming back. It's great to have quality Vietnamese food nearby without having to travel all the way to OC.

FANTASTIC PLACE FOR FOOD AND A PARTY!…read more I had the privilege of being invited to a party with some friends who had booked their event with Sea Queen Restaurant and I cannot deny that I was only impressed with the food, decor, staff, and the entire experience. If you are interested in booking your own event here, I recommend it. If you have no events coming up and just want some amazing food, still come here for that too! Amazing dishes are cooked and served here. It is mostly Vietnamese cuisine that you would find here, but hey... who doesn't enjoy this kind of cuisine? There is so much this restaurant has to offer. Not to mention there are weekly events; even a karaoke night. Lastly, if you enjoy sea snails, escargot, and don't want to drive out of the IE to the OC for some... just come here!
