Pho & Grill needs a new owner, respectfully I love this place for their food, it's my GO-TO! but when they cut off seating 45 minutes before closing... it's a bit ridiculous. Let alone to tell me "we aren't serving appetizers because we close at 9" ...meantime i walked in there at 8:15. They could be making way more money than this, especially because the food is SO good. Not to mention the worker did say " well we will have to rush you & you need to get out by 9pm" i've been there many times when they start mopping and using chemicals on the floors almost an hour before closing, imagine how that Pho tasted after that! i always over hear them trying to get people to go else where....disappointing. read more

Came here for a solo dinner on a Friday night. Was seated quickly and order taken got my usual order and dressed my vinegar onions. Dinosaur Pho is my favorite one to get every time. We had dinner at Pho & Grill yesterday. Even though the restaurant was already full inside, we were seated right after arriving and were lucky to get the last available table. We ordered the #32 House Special Pho in both the regular size ($16.50) and extra-large size ($18.99). The portions were generous, the broth was rich and delicious, and the meats were very tender. We also tried the Bun Bo Hue - House Beef Vermicelli Soup ($17). It was very tasty with a mild level of spice. I had never tried this type of Vietnamese vermicelli soup before, and it was a pleasant surprise. The meat was tender and the broth was very flavorful. For drink, we had Che Ba Mau - The 3 Color Beans ($6), which was also good. The service was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. A quick search led us to Pho and Grill, and it turned out to be a great find. When we arrived, the place was packed with only one table left near the back. We grabbed it quickly and were promptly given water and menus. Despite the busy dining room, service was efficient and the food came out in a reasonable time. We ordered: 2 Regular + 1 XL House Pho - Great The regular bowl was already as big as what some places call a "super bowl." The XL portion was enormous -- easily the largest pho bowl I've seen in Southern California. The broth was flavorful, and the meats were super tender and perfectly cooked. Every bite was satisfying. 1 Regular Bun Bo Hue (mild) - Good A nicely balanced bowl with the same tender meats as the pho. The broth had that classic tangy, fish-sauce-forward flavor that makes Bun Bo Hue so appetizing. 3 Color Drink - OK Refreshing but nothing particularly standout. Overall, the portion size, meat tenderness, and flavorful broth easily earn this place 5 stars. It's no surprise the restaurant stays busy -- tables filled almost immediately after people left. Tentative staff and quick to order. We had the: Rice vermicelli with grilled pork and egg rolls - highly recommend. Their grilled pork is amazing; super flavorful. It's good with their rice dish as well. Rib Rye Steak - Sizzling plate - you'll get all the attention when this dish comes out sizzling. This is pair with a big plate of white rice. Not much flavor on the steak other than butter. There's sriracha on the table you can use. It'll be nice if there's some pickled veggies that you can pair with the steak. When they say it's XL, IT'S EXTRA LARGE. A big backs dream. Unlike some other places who say it and don't live up to the name. For $18.5 the amount of food that you get is absolutely insane. The photograph of my extra-large bowl of pho does not do justice to how big the bowl of pho was. It was bigger than my head. So much meat and noodles. I could not finish it and had to to-go part of it. This restaurant is well-liked by lots of people. Today I visited this place on a Monday afternoon, and all the tables were occupied. We were seated after a few minutes of waiting. Service was super fast. Our food came out within 3 minutes of placing our order (of note, all of us ordered pho. I think wait times may vary depending on what you order). Service was good too. The waiter who helped us was super thoughtful. We asked him for a to-go container to pour some of the broth out, so that we could dilute it with our iced drinking water (my mom thought the broth was too salty for it). Found my new go to pho restaurant in the inland area! This place definitely deserves 5 stars. Portions are huge and the food hitsssssss! The pho base is a liiiitle saltier than I would like but it's still really good. Meat quality and noodles are solid here We recently moved to the Diamond Bar area from OC and if you know OC (specifically GG/Westminster area) you know they do pho well there. So we were pretty skeptical finding a pho restaurant near us that would compare... However Pho & Grill proved us wrong! This place is just as good as the og spots in GG/Wesminster. Every single bite of our food was to die for. The dumplings were just perfectly crispy and warm on the inside. The sausage rolls were not too chewy and the sauce was a perfect combination.
