This Thai restaurant is my go to. One of thee best Thai food in my opinion. I have never dined it, but I always DoorDash many times. Enough to know if the food is good or not. I've tried their pad Thai 10/10 Pad see we 9/10 Beef and chicken skewer dinner with their peanut sauce 10/10 Ribs 10/10 Egg rolls 10/10 Thai iced tea 9/10 I never dined in, so I could not really tell you about their service or ambiance, but they always packaged the food neatly and always giving napkins and utensils. Which I appreciate. This place is a gem. One of my favorites around the area! read more

What a cozy little place this is! When I stepped in here, it was like going back in time. I got an old school vibe from this place. Now let me tell you about the food...I tried the jerk pork and sate meal along with the fried rice and let me tell you. It was outstanding. And not to mention the host who's name is Sam. I ordered chicken pineapple curry, and I must say this is the best thai curry I have ever eaten. This is the real stuff. The curries of many restaurants that I tried are so diluted that you don't really get to savor the essence of curry. You can taste coconut milk, the chicken is tender and it wasn't too loaded with veggies just to fill the bowl. There were lots of chicken and pineapple. But it doesn't matter how great the restaurant is, however fine dining it is, I never return if I find out the restroom isn't clean. This place has a very clean restroom! Check! .. So I shall return and I can't wait to try the next dish. Prices are also very reasonable and parking is not a problem. read more

I don't think they have Pad Kee Mao here... I didn't see it on their menu? Anyway, instead I ordered Pad See Ew, which was worth the $14. I got two meals out of it. I would return for this dish and to try their Thai Tea maybe also. The owner or manager who served us was chill and nice. read more

Everything we had was delicious! The fried fish was our absolute favorite! Beautifully cooked and full of savory flavors. The fried rice was also super rich in taste and the variety of components in the rice was amazing. Yellow curry was perfect. The mint gelato was super good too! Amazing first visit! This was my first time at Thai Diamond BBQ and everything was excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, easily some of the best Thai I've had in the area. Just ordered Uber eats for my office lunch and this place did not disappoint. The usuals are chicken pad Thai and beef pad see ew and both were delicious. Um, my godmother and I have small stomachs but we pigged out! My gosh, my stomach is gonna explode. The food is so flavorful without being salty. Have been coming here for years and it's always a treat. The staff are friendly and warm, and the food is always delicious. My bestie always gets their curries, which are packed with flavor and very creamy. I live for their cat fish and salted fish fried rice. The cat fish skin is so crispy and the sauce is rich & spicy. I also like substituting tofu as the protein in a lot of their dishes, as I tend towards pescatarian/vegetarian usually, and they are very accommodating . We ordered a large take out order and nearly everything was perfect. The papaya salad was incredibly crunchy, refreshing with the perfect amount of heat from the tiny pieces of bird's eye chili peppers. Both the green curry and Panany curry had a great consistency (not too watery) and a good ratio of meat and veggies. Every dish we got came with "shrimp" fried rice (pork ribs, chicken satay, beef satay). But the fried rice was more of a garlic and egg fried rice with a single shrimp on top. The only slightly disappointments were the fried wonton (overly burnt) and the garlic spare ribs. The garlic spare ribs had a ton of garlic, which was nice, but it was in a container with a ton of romaine lettuce. Looked like a spare rib salad. Overall the food was tasty, portions were good and the prices were very fair. I have now tried every Thai restaurant in Glendora and Sam Dimas and this one is the best. read more

We love coming here for our thai fix. Especially for their WINGS OF ANGELS, which is a great appetizer. The owners are great! They always greet and serve us with a smile. I had the Shrimp/Chicken chowmein, one of my favorite dishes. As always, it was hot and had lots of flavor. It's never too loud in the restaurant.. We never have to struggle to have a conversation at our table. We were able to watch the Phillies/ Diamondback game on one of their perfectly placed wall-mounted tv's. We definitely will be back. I ordered a chicken pad thai, panang curry, and crab fried rice via ubereats this afternoon. Prices were good and portions were decent. Chicken pad thai: there were about 5 pieces of chicken with a good amount of peanuts and bean sprouts. The pad thai flavor was on point. Just the right amount of sweetness. Panang curry: perfect amount of spiciness for me (usually I get food in mild-med). The dish had some beef and came with rice too! My only complaint is that the curry was really watery. Crab fried rice: I liked that they had a egg cooked with crab meat. I had to add a little more salt to the dish, which wasn't a big deal, but the rice was super dry. Overall, we had quite a bit of food and prices were good considering how much inflation is raising prices nowadays. Food was decent. My favorite was the pad thai! read more

Sent kid to a birthday in the area and was looking for a lunch place. We decided to try this place and it was great. Thai Iced Coffee: I don't recall I have tried Thai Iced Coffee. This is sweet and not bitter. I think there is condensed milk but not sure. There is a flavor that I could not tell what it is. Good and interesting. Seafood Soup: with fish, mushrooms, squid, shrimp, mussels, imitation crabs and other ingredients. We order medium spicy. The spicy level is good for us. One down size is that it is a bit salty for us. Glass Noodles Salad: good dish for a hot day. Glass noodles is done right. There is sour lime taste in it that gives a refreshing feeling. Sweet Angels: I like this dish whenever I see a Thai restaurant serves it. This is a dish that needs lots of work. Deboned chicken wings and stuffed with additional ingredients like meats, veggies and seasoning. Then coated with crumbs and deep fried. They make the good wings here. The wing is good with or without the sauce. They also served it with rice which is great as well. Good flavor in the rice. Very nice local spot. read more

This small quaint restaurant is quite nice. It's a mom and pop owned and operated place and serves authentic Thai cuisine. We ordered pad see ew and the barbeque chicken and shared our plates. Beef pad see ew had plenty of tender beef delicious flavors with noodles and broccoli cooked in a tasty sauce. Barbeque chicken plate had a juicy leg, breast, and wing and rice. The Pad Thai was okay and on the sweeter side. However, the texture of the noodles was a bit hard. The Spicy Mint Noodle was quite good. I just didn't appreciate that they charged extra for shrimp without clearly labeling it on the menu. Service was friendly and attentive. read more

For the first time on Thursday, we decided to play the Power Ball that was worth $1.7 Billion at 711 in El Monte, one gas station in Glendora off Route 66, and lastly, Rebel Gas station in San Dimas, we worked up an appetite and ate at Thai Diamond BBQ. We have been coming here since 2017, and the food is always delicious. Their Pad Thai is so good! Their specialty diamond bbq chicken and heart-shaped rice. Right now they're enforcing COVID rules, meaning a specific capacity of people can only be allowed. There was a new guy I never saw working there before. He was very attentive, and polite. Thai food is one of our favorite choices so we tried a new place that had good reviews. This restaurant was awful. We had pad Thai with shrimp which was only okay. Along with that, we ordered cashew chicken and sweet and sour chicken. I couldn't even find any cashews in the small amount we received. Chicken was dry and vegetables were okay but mostly peppers . Our last order was sweet and sour chicken which had mushy veggies and the chicken was very dry. I was so excited to find a new Thai restaurant in Glendora but what a waste of money. Best Thai in San Dimas / La Verne / Glendora area in my opinion (I've been to many). I've been going there over 10 years. The owner is very nice. I'm pretty selective when it comes to cheesesteaks, but he assured me this was THE spot. I ordered a large West Coast Cheesesteak with provolone and their cheddar cheese sauce. First impressions were positive. The sandwich was filled with an ample amount of fillings. This place definitely does not skimp on the meat. I was informed by the worker that their "The Big One" has even more meat. I'll have to order that next time. After the first bite, I was pleased by the thin yet crispy, juicy, well-seasoned beef. The bread was the perfect complement, soft and soaking up the beef juices for a perfect bite. Despite soaking up the juices, the bread held its form well while also being chewy and airy. The provolone cheese was spread evenly throughout the sandwich, with the fresh mushrooms and jalapeños enhancing the flavors. The biggest surprise of my meal was the cheese sauce. I'm a big texture guy, so I was hesitant at first. A bad cheese sauce makes a sandwich soggy while overpowering the flavor of the meat. This was the opposite. The sauce was velvety smooth, and spread well after each pour. It was thick enough that it held its form and didn't saturate the bread. Very rich, creamy, and flavorful. Talked to the employee and he said they make their cheese sauce in-house. Very cool! This spot lived up to my coworker's hype, and he's easily earned my trust when it comes to food recs. I've had authentic cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, and this place is darn close to the stuff they have out there. Take out for the first time from there. I tried the Pad tai with chicken turned out really yummy. Great taste and big serving.(did not finish) I would recommend it. My co-worker tired the chicken fried rice dish and I tried some and we both did not like it. It was bland and flavorless. Had to add lots and lots of chili sauce and soy sauce to make it better. i got the mango with sticky rice and the mango was not fresh at all. I called them to let them know and they gave me credit for it. ;( I was really looing forward to eating mango with sticky rice.My other co-worker tried the chicken curry and it was ok. We've been coming here for over 6 years now. Sam and his beautiful wife Vy are the owners. The food is delicious. We've eaten at other Thai restaurants in Azusa, West Covina and Diamond Bar but none of them compare to Thai Diamond BBQ. From their curries to their noodle dishes, flagrant Tom Yum soup and sticky rice with mango, everything tastes fresh and authentic. Lunch hour is always a full house. Price is fair, nice air conditioning for the hot weather and delicious smoothies, boba and ice cream macaroon sandwiches! This is hands down a truly great restaurant. read more

Im so glad thai diamond bbq opened a new location here right by where i work. I usually go to the one close by my house all the time. . The place is abit smaller than their other one in Rancho but did a good job on decorating the place though. Their luch special here is worth getting. Good deal for only 7 bucks. Their Pad thai is very tasty and the portion is huge. I also got an order of sate beef. The meat was very tendered, hmm yummy! I have been to this restaurant many times over the years since they opened. The owners are very cordial and respect their customers. They appreciate them very much. The food here is excellent and healthy and they make the food to your liking. They offer online ordering and delivery but have not needed to utilize them because I live within less than a mile to the restaurant. read more
