I don't often write reviews, but after driving around Glendora and San Dimas yesterday trying to find good pizza, only to discover several of the top rated places were closed, we finally found Triple Beam Pizza. We were hoping for somewhere we could sit down, cool off in some air conditioning, and satisfy our serious pizza craving. We were starving, and I'll admit, I'm a bit of a pizza snob. I won't eat just any pizza. I love going online to find the top-rated pizza place in the area and give it a try. But, I also had my very picky child with me, who only eats pepperoni pizza. When I saw the corn esquite pizza, I was instantly curious. I'm obsessed with elote, but I couldn't quite picture corn on pizza. We ended up getting half pepperoni and half corn esquite and, holy hell, this pizza was incredible! I ordered the half pizza, which is supposed to feed two people. The guy working at the register was very nice and helpful. The toppings were perfectly balanced, the crust had the perfect crunch, and even after the pizza cooled down, it never got soggy. It still had that amazing crispness. Hands down, this is the best pizza I've had in California. Just a heads up: this is not really a sit-down spot, and there wasn't air conditioning when we were there. We sat in the chairs for a few minutes to take a few bites and were definitely sweating because it was so hot inside. But when the pizza is this good, I'd sit on the floor to eat it. Even my picky "pepperoni only" child tried the corn esquite pizza and loved it. They had a wide range of gourmet pizzas along with traditional options, and there are several others I'd love to try next, like the mushroom and truffle and the Margherita. I don't know why this place doesn't have 5 stars. I'll gladly drive 30 minutes out of my way for this pizza at least once a week! read more

Popped into the store for a pie today. Went with my goat to pepperoni and sausage and asked for a little crispy. It's a good pie with grape cheese, the right amount of sauce and good pepperoni and OK sausage. I usually like a pizza like this well done so when you bite the crust, you get a little bit of a snap. I don't know what to say about their crust aside from it is a little chewy, not in a bad way. It was delicious and I will go hear it again, but maybe I won't order it well done and just see how it comes. The toppings were well done, but the crust itself didn't have that snap I was looking for. I know a lot of people grip here because the pies aren't very large and basically they're large is most mediums, I like the way they cut it though. We've been driving by this place for years now being in Glendora for over nine years we always see this pizza place. It's right next to another place. We really enjoy Waffa's Mediterranean Kitchen, but the pizza was actually really good. My son and I went with the half pizza with two drinks. We got the pepperoni pizza which had very crusty crust and a good amount of pepperoni. Not to mention the cheese was very stringy and delicious. The girl upfront was very nice. She took our order and made the pizza super quick. Although there is no where to sit to enjoy your pizza I would still recommend this place. It has a very alien vibe to it. I finally got the chance to check this pizza spot out. I definitely consider myself to be a pizza snob so my expectations were set a little high. One thing I did appreciate is they take phone orders v having to order through grub hub. My son ordered the half pepperoni which is a generous serving for one person. The presentation was neat, and the pizza looked delicious. I decided to order a slice of the mushroom and shallots and it's also a generous serving size. I was told this type of pizza is Romanian style due to the dough being different than regular pie dough. My son loved his pizza and he almost finished it on his own. The mushroom slice I had was definitely different and delicious! I love mushrooms and they were sautéed perfectly and the crispy shallots on top added great texture. The service over the phone was great and the service inside the restaurant was excellent. This is a new restaurant, they've only been open about a year and I hope they stick around. A "big slice" here is actually a quarter of a pizza, cut into three pieces. I ordered a big slice of Roasted Fennel & Sausage and another of Pineapple, Prosciutto & Jalapeño. My son and I shared both, and we agreed that the PPJ slice was the standout. The slice of pineapple had more flavor than the typical canned tidbits used on other pizzas, and the prosciutto was a great upgrade from the usual Canadian bacon. We were hoping for a stronger fennel flavor in the other slice. The sausage was excellent, but perhaps roasting the fennel mellowed its taste a bit too much for us. Delicious pizza! I've had Triple Beam before but it was my first time getting it from the Glendora location. I placed the order online and it was ready for pick-up within 25 mins. We got a half order of the potato & truffle pizza and a half order of the roasted mushroom pizza. The texture was perfectly consistent - not too soft nor too crunchy for our tastes. Their ranch was good and the Caesar salad was pretty good. Watermelon lemonade was refreshing and the Nancy's Fancy espresso gelato was a nice way to end the meal. We recently moved into the area and are wanting to try all the good eateries around so this weekend pizza was on the menu so we decided to try Triple Beam. They're not your average pizza parlor they have a unique take on the classic pizza pie. You can taste the difference in the quality of their Ingredients. Tiny parking lot, but I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I liked that they sold by the 1/4 so I was able to try 4 different pizzas for my family to try. I chose 1/4 each of roasted mushrooms with shallots, pepperoni, pineapple and prosciutto, roasted fennel sausage with goat cheese. They did have a special for $26 for 4 quarters of pizza. My family and I liked the roasted mushrooms and shallots and the roasted fennel sausage the most. The mushroom was cooked down enough and it was not watery and was roasted well, the goat cheese was not overwhelming and the crust was thin but still had a crisp to it. The fennel sausage and goat cheese went well together. I also liked the pineapple and prosciutto with jalapeno, I thought it would come with pineapple chunks but they were thinly sliced so they were slightly crispy, the prosciutto was added after it was cooked. They did have an elote style pizza and a pastrami and pickle pizza on the menu which I never seen before. The service was exceptional, I was explained what the sizes where and what the prices where. I looked at the menu and asked questions, once again the attendant explained what was in the pizza and how I could have it altered. When we arrived home and tasted the pizza it was so delicious, crust was perfect and cooked the toppings were fresh. I had the Vegan Margherita and my husband had the Mushrooms and Shallots. So good! Within the top vegan pizzas I've ever had. This will be my new go to local spot for vegan pizza and I would bring any non-vegan here to try pizza. The crust is crispy on the bottom, but still fluffy. NOT like those thin ass Blaze pizzas. The vegan cheese was so delish, actually melted, and a little crispy on the ends. I could taste that the sauce and basil was fresh. My friend and I were both in agreement of how fresh and delicious this pizza was. I'd probably give this place a 3.5, but I rounded up to 4 because i think there's a lot of potential! I noticed this place opened up near my work, so figured I'd grab some on the way home for dinner. They had a good variety of pizza with your standards like pepperoni, and then some not so common toppings like acorn squash! The pizza is thin crust, so if that's not your thing, then this place isn't really for you. Pepperoni pizza - 3/5 - This was decent, but I wish there was more cheese. The flavor was good, but I didn't feel like it was anything special. Potato sage and truffle pizza - 4/5 - I really enjoyed this pizza and would definitely get it again. The flavor was really delicious!! Garlic Knots - 3/5 - These were giant. Very soft and fluffy, which was not what I'm used to in a garlic knit. A nice compliment to the pizza, but i wish they had more garlic flavor. Fingerling Potatoes - 4/5 - These were tasty! I love potatoes, so it's an easy sell for me. I preferred eating them with the ranch over the romesco sauce though. The house made ranch was really tasty and went good with everything! All in all, I would definitely give this place another try. I'm all about the sauce. The half size pizza I ordered had pepperonis and ample sauce; however, it was burned/ over cooked to a point that the crust was black. I picked the pizza up and there was tape on the box's lid holding it closed. I didn't get to view the pizza, that should have been a red flag for me. So when I got home and opened the box to find my pizza's crust burned, I took full responsibility. I heard so much rave about Triple Beam Pizza and was thrilled a location was opening close to home. Sadly, I have to say the pizza was very underwhelming. We placed an order for pickup last week which was their grand opening week. I have been craving pizza for a while but this place did not hit the spot for me. We ordered half roasted mushroom and shallot and half pepperoni, along with a green bean and spinach salad. The total came out to be a little over $40 and the portion sizes were small. But the sad part was that the pizza was lukewarm when we picked it up, and it wasn't good. It was seriously lacking in sauce. The pizza almost tasted like we were just eating toppings and bread. The salad however was good and I would definitely recommend getting that. It had an Asian fusion twist to it and we loved the flavors. Really wanted to like the pizza at this place, but it wasn't my favorite. Unfortunately, both pizza crusts were over-baked and I couldn't get past that. I would recommend the Caesar Salad! It was tasty and the dressing really made this salad great! The dessert was a nice surprise! I didn't know what to expect, but the Green Apple & Streusel Focaccia was my favorite thing we ordered. I am so glad Triple Beam Pizza is now in Glendora and literally in walking distance from my home. I can't wait to try all the pie options! We popped in today for their opening day and got the acorn squash, which was that perfect, sweet, salty, comforting...and that little hot honey hit was spot on. We got pepperoni, which was supposed to be the potato and sage, but it's okay. Blame it on first day jitters. It was still delicious, crisp, lightly sauced, and who doesn't love little cups of pepperonis. But, have a seat and let me tell you, they may be known for their pie, but I'm in a relationship with their green bean and spinach salad. Tried this first at the cuisine of the foothills event, then we ordered delivery on DoorDash because we loved it so much but wanted to try more. We ordered the jalapeño, prosciutto, and pineapple pizza, the potato, sage and truffle pizza, and the pepperoni. We knew nothing about Triple Beam Pizza prior to our first visit. But, we did see from the @MemesofGlendora IG acct that it was somewhere we needed to go and try. And, when I commented on their post, a friend from out of town replied saying how much they love it. So, we gave it a shot. We ordered the Pepperoni, the Fennel & Sausage w/ Goat Cheese, the Garlic Knots, and the Veggie Chopped Salad, for pick up. Since it's their first few days at the Glendora location, they are in their soft launch phase - meaning no delivery, yet. It's super close to us, so I was eager to see if their pizza lived up the hype! In the same little retail stop is a quick mart, so I grabbed a 6-pack of beer that would go well with our order. When we walked in, they were ready for us and had our order ready to go. It was less than 15 minutes from the time I had ordered it at home! We brought it home for the 6 of us (our fam + a friend) and it was devoured pretty quickly. Two large pizzas, knots and a salad was just about perfect in terms of the amount of food for us. We had two small slices left over. Now, about the food... Pizzas - Both were really good and a bit unexpected. What stood out to me were two things right from the start - the dough and the cheese. I later learned about the founders being James Beard Award winning chefs who traveled Italy and brought inspiration from the Roman style pizza they loved while there. The dough is noticeably different and better. It's got a lightness and depth all at the same time. It's a bit fluffy and has the perfect mix of crust and soft doughyness (is that a word ;) There's less cheese than a typical pizza but I didn't mind that. Actually, it was a better blend of sauce, cheese, and toppings than other pizzas I've had. Definitely a more refined pizza! I loved how the pepperoni was curled up and even crisp on the edges. Mmm. I want more just thinking about it. The Fennel and Sausage was fantastic too. At a glance I worried it might be too much fennel but it wasn't. With the goat cheese and sausage, let me just say, superb! The Garlic Knots didn't disappoint either. I almost didn't order them because most pizza shops just send you more of their pizza crust and call it garlic sticks. That wasn't the TBP way. Instead, they make large, puffy knots that stand out on their own as a separate and worthy side! Lastly, the Veggie Chopped Salad was a surprise too. It was super fresh and full of goodies, including toasted hazelnuts! Next time we go, I've got to try the Korean BBQ and the Pineapple, Prosciutto & Jalapeño! Our fam and friend all loved Triple Beam Pizza! And we're stoked to have a new pizza shop in town that isn't just another same old same old kind of shop. I highly recommend trying it out!
