I just gotta say that I love their name. Monstrous Pizza. Elicits a daunting, yet awe-inspiring feeling. Also love the California emblem/mascot bear on pizza. Makes me feel strangely Californian and patriotic. All in good fun. They also gave us a sheet of coupons for future orders which is great. We got around a 30 minute estimate after we put our order in, but it was already ready when we got there and ready for pick up, so they're quite efficient. Service was quick and friendly. It's a small pizza place that's designed for pick up and it was after the lunch rush on a Sunday so it wasn't super busy or hectic there. Ambiance was pretty chill if anything. For our order, we got two 12 inch pizzas, we got the: 1) Hawaiian BBQ #2: -My brother LOVES BBQ pizza. If it's an option on the menu, we get it every time and after having this pizza here, he asks when's the next time we're going to order it again. It's that good and unless it's like omakase or something high end, he's usually neutral with food. -The toppings for this pizza are: ham, chicken, bacon, pineapple, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese. -Pretty decent amount of proteins, good umami taste and saltiness and mix in with the slightly sour and sweet pineapple juiciness and smoky sweetness of the BBQ sauce. It's a fun and yummy pizza. 2) Sriracha Pepperoni Extreme #4: -This was the one that I was the most excited to try. -You can never go wrong with a classic pepperoni and I love a spicy pizza and this had a good initial kick and a lasting burn to it. Definitely do not eat it with a cut to the side of your mouth (my mistake ow ow). -For this pizza, the toppings were extra pepperoni on top of a regular order of pepperoni, jalapenos, roasted garlic (YUM), sriracha sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, and provolone cheese. -It is a bit salty, but to be expected with all of the pepperoni. Greasy, oily, indulgent fast food pizza. Would order from here again to try more of their pizza. They also have a Poke'Ball pizza if you're ever throwing a themed party too! read more

I tried a slice of their Works #7 pizza. One slice is HUGE! For toppings, it has mozzarella, red onions, green peppers, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, ham, olives, and parmesan, thus the Works. Delicious and a filling slice. Would recommend and I would certainly return. read more

Was craving some pizza so decided to try this place out since it is pretty close to my office. Ordered online and got a 12" works and 12" Italian works pizzas. There's a tracker you can use on your phone when you order, but it wasn't the most accurate and my pizzas weren't ready yet when it said it was. However, I had to wait just a few minutes so it wasn't too bad. The pizzas were decent. Nice crust and they load on the toppings and they tasted pretty fresh. I think with all pizza, it was really good when still hot. Some pizza still taste pretty good when it's been sitting out for a while, but these didn't taste that good for some reason. What was also a bummer was it was around $37 for two medium pizzas. Pretty expensive for some small pizzas. It wasn't the best pizza or the worst, but just a little above average. I might go back and try some of the other specialty pizzas as they look pretty good, but I just wish the pies were just a little bigger and a little cheaper. read more

My dad has ordered from Monstrous Pizza before, and even the day-old leftovers were good enough to make the name stick with me. Online ordering was a breeze. The website is well laid out, with coupons conveniently integrated into the menu. We opted for the (2) 14" pizzas--extra pepperoni on one and Hawaiian style on the other--plus two sides: a 1/2 lb of wings and the antipasto salad. Our driver, Daniel, had no trouble finding parking and delivered the order right to our door, which is a rare win in this building. The food arrived hot and fresh, and I was thrilled to see they didn't hold back on the extra pepperoni. The only downside was that the wings were a bit soggy, likely from sitting in sauce during transit. As for the pizza--very solid.
