Came by because I was craving for mozzarella cheese stick. This place has a small parking lot available outside of the store. There is also a skat park next to it. I like the ninja turtle theme in this place. There are a lot of art work, magazine, and a game console available inside the store. Server was friendly. We ordered the medium Hawaiian pizza and mozzarella cheesesteak. The signature mozzarella cheesesteak was huge, but sadly it tasted decent and nothing special. The Hawaiian pizza was also decent that has nothing stand out compare to other pizza places. I was a bit disappointed.

Came in to a cool pizza spot that was decorated themed with tmnt early 90's. We ordered a large pizza, wings, and some cheesy bread. Came with marinara, buffalo, and ranch sauces on the side. Ordered kick flip, but didn't really taste any heat on the pizza. Pizza had good flavor and a decent undercarriage, just a little too thin for my liking. Wings had a great crisp and tasted good and really liked the ranch they use. The cheesy bread was delicious. Hot, cheesy, soft crispy French bread, seasoned nicely. Staff and manager were friendly.

I love the pizza. It's not greasy and the ingredients are great. They are very good. I got it delivered.

I placed a phone order. The employee was nice and patient with me. The pizza was good but I think the dough is pretty hard.

Wings were amazing! The crunch did it for me. The sauce not so great, we got mango habanero which comes on the side not mixed in, bummer for me. Pizza was great! Different choices available. Inside it was ninja turtles themed so it was a bit hip/retro. Cool decor and comic area with a few arcades. The cashier was plain, she was very helpful tho but you can tell she didn't want to be there. There were two families there most customers came to pick up. They sell by the slice so that's good. Drinks are canned or bottle.

This is a solid place to go to if you want some creative pizzas, different from the ones at your chain pizza restaurants. I really like the customizability and the fact that you can create your own pizzas here. A small 10" pizza is quite small and I could eat it all on my own in one sitting. I would recommend a large size pizza per 2 people. In addition to custom pizzas, there is a menu of signature pizzas. My partner and I shared the al pastor pizza, which contains slow roasted pork, mozzarella cheese, pineapple, onions, radish, sala verde, and cilantro. It was pretty good, although not breathtaking. My dog loves the pupperoni pizza pie. It is made using a whole wheat, yeast-free crust and topped with roasted carrot purée, grilled chicken breast, and parsley. Presentation of the pizzas is excellent. For dining in, the pizza is served on a tray, while for takeout, the pizza is served in a box. They give free seasoning packets as well, which is a nice gesture.

Been wanting to try this place! It was pretty yummy! My friend is picky so I let her choose the food. We got the really big mozzarella stick, Detroit style Al pastor, and a slice of kickflip. Mozzarella stick wasn't gooey, but the crust was crunchy! It came with marinara and each for dipping. The kickflip probably would have been better if it was freshly made. Next time I'll order a whole pizza. Didn't really taste the chili oil on there. The star was the Detroit style pizza. Al pastor was good, but I would have picked a more traditional topping. The crust was on point! That's what I loved...the crust! Guy at the front was very helpful and kept up with me as I asked so many questions. Not many tables inside. I'll go back by myself next time and order the deluxe or margherita on Detroit style crust!

I went her on a whim because I was in the area and I was not disappointed! I got the tavern elote pizza and it was sooo yummy. I loved how thin the crust was and it was flavorful for being so thin. The establishment had two arcade games which were street fighter. They had cool paintings and had ninja turtle decorations all over. I also got the giant mozzarella stick which had amazing cheese pull. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was because they had ran out of their slice of the day. Everyday they do a different slice pizza and when I got there at 4PM they had already ran out which wasn't cool to me. Also, the person taking my order was very kind and the food came out at a reasonable time. Overall, I would come back again and try a different pizza.

Food is amazing, can't go wrong with any pizza, but my favorite is the aloha and the alpastor. My only issue was it took 30 minutes to get a small cheese pizza for my daughter. They probably had a lot of orders tonight, still love this place and I'll probably be back

December 30th had all the markings of a very special day for my Family- My oldest son the Pastor's last day in town with us before flying back to WDC, where he's the Campus Minister at George Washington University. Moreover, his and my alma mater USC was playing in the Valero Alamo Bowl at 6pm, favored over TCU. To crown an eventful final day in town, I ordered up a trio of large pizzas from Rose City Pizza in Covina. I'd settled on RCP because of their strong reviews (4.4 stars on nearly 1,000). Rose City Pizza traces its origins to its original Rosemead location...then preserved the name when they relocated to a former floral shop in Covina. So, despite the disappointment of watching our beloved Trojans gag/flop and stumble themselves to an embarrassing 30-24 defeat, do RCP pies pass yhe test?! You bet they do!!! The crust is stellar- Thin, chewy, well charred but not overdone on the bottoms, making for a wondrous chewy, slightly sweet mouth feel. The runaway winner for "Best Tasting Pie" of our trio, voted on by all five of my Family members, was the BBQ Chicken, which we'd accord 5 stars. To quote my youngest, "I've yet to ever be disappointed by a BBQ Chicken pizza. Even the frozen CPK ones are quite decent." The Pick Six is good, a solid 4 stars. The pepperonis are the old world smaller discs. Meaning the edges curl when cooked. They've a peppery warm flavor- ideal! The concept of spraying the ricotta out in ornate little "accordions" of pleats and folds is, while visually stunning...produces a wet, gelatinous mouthfeel. We probably won't be reordering this one. The Elote wins the medal for "Most Anticipated Pie," as my wife is a native born Michoacana and she and our three kids have always relished street-vended Elotes smeared with mayo, parmesan and Taijin seasoning. The overall flavors are completely on point, a corn-dense, Taijin peppered taste balanced with cooling cilantro. But the overall paucity of corn coupled with the "wet" taste due to the heavy swirls of Taijin sauce makes this a 3 star pie. Only my bride called this one her favorite, the other four of us rated it third. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I placed my order online and when I arrived 18 mins later the trio of large pies were ready. My order was $69.14 incl tax for all three. All in all, RCP deserves its strong 4.4 star overall review score. But for us, on this particular trio of flavor pies we ordered, the bloom was a wee bit of the rose.

I love Rose City. It's like a throwback joint in an area where you wouldn't think to find this type of pizza place. It literally gives city vibes with the decor and even the machines inside. The food is fantastic, and I've enjoyed every type of pizza I've ordered from here. But I'd say my favorite item here is definitely the cookies. They're so good. Highly recommend this place.

Detroit style with vegan pepperoni, and mushrooms/jalapeños one only one side.

This was my go-to spot in the SGV for vegan cheese pizza..... was. Not only did they remove the Detroit style, but the quality also went down. I had their classic with vegan cheese twice. The first time was good, but then yesterday's second pie was simply disappointing.

I placed an order for 3 pizzas on Super Bowl Sunday at early afternoon and it said they would be ready in about 40 mins and when I went to pick up my order was actually ready! I was honestly ready to wait thinking they'd be backed up but they were cranking them out! I'm ashamed to admit, I am a longtime Covina resident and this was my first time visiting this location. I've been to their OG location in Rosemead. But I was very impressed considering it was a busy weekend! I order the small kickflip and regular pepperoni and the Detroit style pizza. Everything was absolutely amazing! The kickflip really blew me away!

Do you offer gluten free options?

Yes, available in the 10” round crust

With the recent menu change I noticed the Buffalo chicken pizza was removed and that was my family's go-to. All the toppings are still there in a way, is there any hope of bringing it back?

Hello, we had to go through the menu and take off the ones we sold the least of. We only sold that pizza 5 times a month. If you call in your order, tell them you want to order the Buffalo chicken pizza. You will pay for the BBQ chicken pizza but… Read more

Do you have outdoor seating to eat and can i take my 2 dogs to eat outside with me?

Yesterday I was neither able to order online nor call: online, I was informed that ordering online is not possible, and when I called, I was directed to order online. Therefore, I was not able to order at all. How is that possible?

I am sorry. We had abruptly close last night due to an emergency. We are usually open 11am-9pm daily

Can you do square cut? What's 2x cut meaning?

Hello! Yes we can. Just let us know or put it in the notes when you are online ordering. “2x cut” is if you want the pizza double cut into smaller slices

Are dogs allowed inside?

Hello! Dogs are allowed on the patio. You can come in with your dog to order and wait at the patio area for your order

Do you sell pizza by the slice?

Yes they do, they have daily selections available at the counter which include some of their classics. The specialty pizza's are not made by the slice as they like to keep it fresh

Dear yelp friends:…read more Please read my previous reviews and you'll get the skinny on Aldolinos. The food, ambiance, and service have been consistent over the last dozen years or so I've been frequenting. Although they don't have a Sunday brunch anymore, the full bar is amazing and gives the restaurant a refined, sophisticated, quality. While some Italian restaurants are as cheesy as garlic bread, Aldolinos is classy, not trashy. In the corner of the Oak Tree shopping center, you might not think to stop by, but that would be a mistake. Daily specials; happy hour appetizers & libations; consistent food and service make this an easy choice for me in the Azusa area. I have a secret, but it's just between you and me: They have a party trailer to take to events (I'm going to hire them for my next 40th birthday party)!

We were very happy with our first visit to Aldolino Italian Restaurant…read more It's in a very unassuming mini mall, but once you step in, the dining room is very nicely organized, particularly for a small place. I like the dividers that give you a bit of privacy and cut down on conversational noise from other tables. The first thing we notice and LOVED was the old school mellow Italian standards they were playing. Yes! Very relaxing and set the mood. We would have sat in the bar, but there was a large group scheduled in there, so we sat in the dining room. Next time we'll try the bar room. The things that stood out were their delicious, rich sauces. The flavors were spot on. They cook their pasta perfect to my family's taste, with a bite (al dente), but done enough that it's not chewy or floury. Fair prices. And yummy desserts. We really enjoyed the tasty Crab Cake app. We all liked our pasta, particularly me, who had the Mushroom Ravioli with the same sauce that comes on the Beef and Mushroom Ravioli. I think there was a Mushroom Ravioli special with a different sauce, but they did it with the sauce I really wanted to try, which was much appreciated! We enjoyed the Spumoni pie--Spumoni ice cream with a graham cracker(?) pie crust. They also made us a traditional Affogato, because that's what my dad likes. But I want to try their version next time. I'm really excited to go back and try their pizza. We'll get one with sausage, since the sausage on my dad's pasta was really outstanding. I also want to try their Caesar Salad. Looking forward to my next visit!

We had the calamari which was Awesome and enough for a Meal really! I took things to counteract the breading. And was give. A beautiful dessert to split as it was our anniversary! Based on the five-star reviews, I felt I was making the best choice for dinner with my brother and his wife up fom Palm Springs for an event in Duarte. The pleasant, personable atitude from all involved in our dining experience leaves me reluctant to leave this review - however, I feel it important to point out the service and food issues that made this visit a less than optimal one. If the issues were limied to just one, or maybe two, I would not have bothered to mention them. However, a litany of small issues can compound to a point where one has to question their choice, especially when the establishment promises a refined, upscale dining experience. It started with the first course, wIth.my wie and I being served the wrong salad. We did not make any mention of this, as the waiter was kind enough to divide the salad into two portions, and we did not want to hold up the rest of the party. Then my brothers' dish, ("Grandma's" meatballs with meat sauce, I believe), ordered with rigatoni, was delivered - but with spaghetti instead of the requested rigatoni. Now this should not be a big deal, as the dish should be quickly replaced with an apology. No, the waiter was resistant, had to check his notes. At the table, where all of us heard the order specify rigatoni. He left(presumably to get permission), finally returning to reluctantly take the dish for replacement. Really? At an upscale restaurant? To his credit the waiter did bring a small portion of a very good crab bisque so my brother could join the rest of us as we ate and he waited. Then it was the little things - refills of iced tea and coffee never offered. Ground pepper and parmesan cheese(needed for the rather bland pesto) never offered, had to ask. And that pesto sauce - pine nuts? Where? That dish - as well as my wife's Ala Checca and my bro's aforementioned dish, all ok, if rather bland, missing that something to make the dishes 'pop'. Oh, and the afterdinner apertif mentioned in other reviews? Not to be. I realize I am risking the wrath of the owner with my review, but I do not believe any of my expectations are unreasonable for a restaurant that boasts of offering a high end dining experience, at a high end price. . and a customer should never be made to feel guilt for pointing out a mistake. A generous four stars for the bread and marinara, the crab bisque, the tasty wines, and the cheerful welcome.
