This place used to be Dalia's, now it's Hala's and after not having it for years, I was honestly curious whether it would still live up to the memory. Turns out, it does. The pizza is still the best-tasting in town. The nostalgia factor alone was a 10/10, but it wasn't just sentiment carrying it. The crust was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, the cheese-to-sauce ratio was spot-on, and the pepperoni was applied just right, not overloaded, not skimpy. I also ordered the mild wings, which were solid, though next time I'll definitely go with hot because that sauce is where it's at. Bonus points for the wings coming with fries--always appreciated. They also automatically included ketchup and ranch, which was a nice touch. The garlic bread came with marinara and was delicious, especially when fresh. Definitely don't let it sit too long, that's when it really shines. Price-wise, everything felt fair for the portions and quality. A large cheese pizza with pepperoni, wings, and garlic bread came out to a little over $35 after tax, which felt reasonable and satisfying for what you get. Overall, it more than satisfied my Monday craving, and I'm happy to say it's earned its way back into my regular rotation. Looking forward to coming back.

Decided to dine in here about an hour before closing time. The restaurant is clean and spacious with a nice size TV to watch games. The cashier was sweet and took our order immediately. I had high hopes for this restaurant based on existing reviews. I ordered chicken fettuccine and a large pepperoni pizza. The pasta included a really great and fresh salad which I loved! The pasta sauce was so bland and needed flavor. The portion is extremely generous and can be split between 3-4 people. My favorite part of this experience was the pizza. The sauce is great and overall a great pie. The service is also excellent and is part of my 4 star review. I'd definitely come back for their pizza and salad plus service. I recommend dining here for a great game and great pizza!

They need to do a better menu online. Their website gives no information/description. Their food is good but the specials are non-existent so everything is $$$$.

Trio Seafood Pasta with Garlic Bread
Cristine G.

My craving for pasta led us here. I ordered their Meat lasagna and a side order of meatballs. My son ordered the Trio seafood pasta. Each of our meals came with a side salad and garlic bread. The salad was full sized with crisp lettuce, sliced mushrooms, olives, red onions, pepperoncini, a slice of tomato and your choice of dressing. We both opted for ranch. The lasagna came out piping hot and was enveloped in a tangy and robust marinara sauce. The garlic bread was perfectly toasted. We also got the caramel pecan cheesecake to go. Service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant itself was clean and family-friendly. There were 5 sets of tables and chairs and 3 booths, two of them have their own TV. Altogether there were 5 TVs. We found a parking spot easily, but this plaza can get quite busy on the weekends.

It turned out to be a order pizza kind of night. I called in to ask about carry out specials and was disappointed to find out that by adding (2) toppings the price jumps up pretty good. However, the pizza was good and tasty and the staff were friendly when you pick up the pizza. The place inside is clean and inviting and makes you want to come back. A great neighborhood pizza option that I recommend. We ended up getting pepperoni, jalepeno, and pineapple as God intended.

Moving up and so alive In her honey dripping beehive Garlic Pie w/ Sausage from #halaspizzacovina

I'm always looking for a decent pizza joint that not only understands the value of a quality pie but also understands the value of value. When I'm craving my garlic pie with sausage I'm looking for a place that can bring that to my table with a drink for around the $15 mark. Luckily Hala's came in on the price point fairly well, with the medium 2-topping pie and tall bottle of cola for about $16. And the pie was pretty damn good. It may not have been cloves or even roasted garlic, but I definitely tasted the layered minced garlic that they did put on the pie. The sausage wasn't as memorable, but that's not what I'm judging my pie on anyway. As long as the garlic hits like a ton of bricks I'm happy. The space is nice too--with plenty of tables and booths. It wasn't that full when I went but I'm sure it gets jumping at the more opportune times. The service was impeccable too. The way the staff handled all the to-go orders that seem to be the bulk of the business here. The same too when I had questions about what kind of products they had, the main person behind the counter was very informative and helpful. All in all, this may become my go-to pizza spot when Gina Maria's just seems like a hassle dealing with all that traffic and stress. Or just maybe it may become my go-to pizza spot--full stop.

Veggie Delight Pizza

Southern California weather has been extremely hot lately. The relentless heat deterred me from cooking. So I got a vegetarian pizza from Hala's. It was very tasty! Thumbs up!

Spaghetti & Meat Sauce

Great food and friendly service! Fidel helped us pick out delicious items from the menu and we loved the spaghetti with meat sauce and margherita pizza. Large food portions and the price was very affordable. The dining area was really nicely laid out too. My husband and I had a great workday lunch.

This month Eddie's is offically celebrating their 41st birthday…read more Congratulations!!! Almost 20 years of my enjoying Spaghetti Eddie's great food & service. I have told many people about my personal experiences here and everyone that has visited the restaurant from my suggestions were impressed with the food and excellent service. I am temporarily living out of the area, but always make Eddie's one of my first restaurant visits when I return home. My favorite food is true Italian recipe based and Eddie's uses some of the finest ingredients and seasonings I've sampled. From main courses to salads and desserts, everything is delicious and obviously prepared from scratch. Visit the restaurants website and sign up for their monthly specials. These limited edition offerings are available all month long and everyone a stand-out in my opinion. Lunch specials are a real value and the quality is never compromised. Many of the staff have been with Eddie's for ten or more years and really enjoy their jobs and wouldn't want to work anywhere else. I read a review of Eddie's made recently by a patron and needed to update my review of Eddie's made several years ago. This restaurant would not be as successful as it has been for so many years without taking good care of their guests. My experience with servers has shown that they will do anything in their power to make your visit a happy one with great food and service to match. Mike, one of the managers that I have become acquainted with over the years would not let anyone leave without their being fully satisfied with their dining experience. This restaurant truly wants to have repeat customers that look forward to each and every visit. About a 15 minute drive east of Eddie's in Glendora are two sister restaurants in the community of Claremont that Eddie has also created very successfully thanks to the expertise of Eddie demanding quality food and service for each and every guest. You can't grow to this level without giving your guest what they expect from a superior dining experience. Eddie's Italian Eatery on West Foothill in Claremont has a menu similar to the Glendora location. This location is only a bit over 20 years old, somewhat new compared to Glendora. The upscale masterpiece of Eddie's is "Tutti Mangia-Italian Chophouse" located on Harvard Ave. in historic downtown Claremont. Fine dining at its best with an elegant setting and food to match. A special treat for anyone wanting the most special evening of elegant dining. It's worth the drive to experience the menu and decor. This location has experienced 30 years of success and is a very popular restaurant in the college town of Claremont. When you visit any of the three restaurants that Eddie operates you will be well treated and served some of the most authentic Italian food available anywhere. I never hesitate to make a 15 mile drive to a restaurant that truly has exceptional food and service.

After recently reading an extremely negative review made appx 2 weeks ago about Spaghetti Eddie's,…read moreI felt compelled to share my own experience--especially as someone who has lived in this area for 50 years and has watched our community change tremendously over the decades. I remember when the Mayflower Shopping Center was thriving and nearly every storefront was occupied. Unfortunately, many businesses have come and gone over the years. But Spaghetti Eddie's is still here--41 YEARS later! That alone says something. You don't remain in business for more than four decades without doing something right. They have weathered years of change, economic challenges, and even the incredibly difficult COVID era. During that time, they adapted their operations so they could continue serving the community that has supported them for so many years. Yes, the shopping center may not look like it did years ago, but that has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of this restaurant. In fact, on any given night, you may still have trouble finding a close parking spot because Spaghetti Eddie's is packed! When it comes to something as serious as a food allergy, however, I strongly believe we all have a responsibility to advocate for our own safety as well. If you have a severe allergy, it is always wise to double-check your order before leaving the restaurant. Placing the entire burden on a young employee--who may even be working their very first job--without acknowledging our own responsibility seems unfair. No restaurant is perfect, and mistakes can happen anywhere. But I believe a business should be judged by the overall experience it consistently provides--not defined by one incident or one extremely negative review. My family and I have always felt welcomed here. The entire staff works hard, and we have received wonderful service over the years. And I have to give a special shoutout to Manny! He is absolutely amazing at his job and someone I highly recommend. He recently suggested the mushroom soup with truffle oil--something I probably never would have ordered because I tend to stick with my favorites. I am SO glad I listened to him. It was incredible! And here's a tip: dip the bread in the soup. You can thank me later! Then there's the calamari. I order calamari almost everywhere I go, and Spaghetti Eddie's lightly cooked calamari remains one of my absolute favorites. So, before allowing someone else's negative review to make your decision for you, go experience Spaghetti Eddie's yourself and form your own opinion. Think about what 41 years in business really represents: thousands of customers, family dinners, birthdays, celebrations, first dates, longtime regulars, hardworking employees, and countless memories created around their tables. As someone who has called this community home for 50 years, I appreciate the businesses that have stood the test of time--and Spaghetti Eddie's certainly has. 41 years strong, and there's a reason for it. Give them a try. Order the mushroom soup with truffle oil, get the calamari, and enjoy your evening. Spaghetti Eddie's continues to have my support!

I like the dividers that give you a bit of privacy and cut down on conversational noise from other tables. The first thing we notice and LOVED was the old school mellow Italian standards they were playing. Yes! Very relaxing and set the mood. We would have sat in the bar, but there was a large group scheduled in there, so we sat in the dining room. Next time we'll try the bar room. The things that stood out were their delicious, rich sauces. The flavors were spot on. They cook their pasta perfect to my family's taste, with a bite (al dente), but done enough that it's not chewy or floury. Fair prices. And yummy desserts. We really enjoyed the tasty Crab Cake app. We all liked our pasta, particularly me, who had the Mushroom Ravioli with the same sauce that comes on the Beef and Mushroom Ravioli. I think there was a Mushroom Ravioli special with a different sauce, but they did it with the sauce I really wanted to try, which was much appreciated! We enjoyed the Spumoni pie--Spumoni ice cream with a graham cracker(?) pie crust. They also made us a traditional Affogato, because that's what my dad likes. But I want to try their version next time. I'm really excited to go back and try their pizza. We'll get one with sausage, since the sausage on my dad's pasta was really outstanding. I also want to try their Caesar Salad. Looking forward to my next visit!

The place looked run-down, the TVs weren't even set up, and there was a trash can sitting outside in the middle of the dining area. The person who greeted us was friendly, but other than that, nobody else was there. We ordered two chicken fettuccine Alfredo dishes, and one had broccoli added. For the broccoli upcharge, I got four pieces. That's definitely not worth paying extra for. We didn't order drinks, appetizers, or sides. The fettuccine itself was just okay--it lacked flavor. The "garlic bread" was the biggest surprise: two Hawaiian rolls with garlic butter. Seriously... what is that? Each pasta was listed at $17.95, yet my total came to $48, and the math just wasn't adding up. I wasn't given an itemized receipt, which made it even more frustrating. After noticing my reaction, they brought us a salad with lettuce that looked brown and a small side of pasta. I'm guessing it was their way of making up for it, but that doesn't justify charging me without being transparent. To make matters worse, the bathroom was dirty, which is always a major red flag. My friend really wanted to try the restaurant, so I just let it go and paid. Looking back, I shouldn't have. Moral of the story: If your gut tells you something feels off, trust it and walk away. Don't stay just to be polite--it's your hard-earned money. This experience taught me that from now on, if something doesn't feel right, I won't hesitate to leave, no matter who I'm with or where I am. Transparency is everything to me. If you're not honest with your customers or you overcharge people, you've already earned 1 star in my book. I can GUARANTEE this is my first and last time her, I'm surprised I didn't get food poisoning.
