    16. Dumpling Soup

Today was my first time trying this place. I'm in loss of words. I ordered the dumpling soup with chicken and it was sooo yummy delicious. I also asked them about the lemongrass tea since I was curious. They really recommended that I try it so I did. The lemongrass tea is by far the yummiest tea I've ever had. It's so refreshing. The service there was amazing. The man and woman were sooo polite nice, happy and polite from placing my order over phone to exiting with my order. As soon as I got to the restaurant, I knew this place was going to be amazing. It's so clean, calm and you'll forsure enjoy your meal there.

I can't compliment this place enough. Every time there's always something that makes this place even better which I didn't think was possible! The food is hot and soooo good. The service is ALWAYS friendly! The place is bright and welcoming every time. I'm practically a regular because I come here at least once a month if not twice! The portions feed us that night and the night after! The wonton soup is our newest favorite and we recently got told to try the mango dessert and that was spectacular! This place stays amazing and I would definitely recommend coming here if you ever have the chance or want some yummy Asian cuisine!

My son and I were craving Thai food and we decided to eat at this restaurant. I've seen it in passing over the years and finally decided to dine in. We were greeted by their friendly staff who took the time to go over their menu. We started off with Thai tea and their Lemongrass and lime drink. The Lemongrass drink is something I've never had but, it was delicious! It wasn't overly sweet and the aroma of the lemongrass wasn't overly powerful. We decided on chicken sa-te, Thai fried rice and the yellow curry. The fried rice was delicious! The curry was good but, the carrots and potato were slightly overcooked for my taste. Overall we really enjoyed the service and food. I did find the bill to be quite expensive for 3 dishes and drinks. I spent $70 so be prepared if you'll be placing an order with multiple dishes.

The food is amazing, and the service is really friendly. Even the place is nice and clean. I would come again even if I live far away from here.

I've only gotten take out from this location , my little brother lives around here and he loves this location . We usually go and pick it up ourselves and absolutely love the vibes here . Everyone here is so nice , we dealt with an older lady and gentleman and they were literally so sweet ! Absolutely loved them !!!! Never been to Thailand so not sure how exactly authentic certain Thai food is but I eat Thai food every week and this location had different flavors I never encountered in others the skewer marinade was different but was super tasty ! The peanut sauce seemed homemade wasn't too sweet but it was good ! My little brother LOVES the skewers. Pineapple fried rice was so good along with the chow mine . I live in Long Beach so don't come here often but def a recommended Thai spot ! Oh and the lady suggested the lemon grass to me , wow amazing !

Thai food has always held a special place in my heart, and for nearly 25 years, Thai Nary has been my go-to spot. Despite changing ownership, the quality of the food remains consistently amazing, and I've never been disappointed. What truly sets this place apart is the welcoming atmosphere. The owner is incredibly friendly and always makes me feel at home, especially when they remember my name as I walk in. Living just around the corner makes it easy to call in an order, and the waitstaff knows exactly what I like and how I prefer it--who wouldn't appreciate that? My daughters are big fans of their pad Thai, but we also love the tom yum soup, tom kha soup, spicy beef salad, and drunken noodles. And I can't stress enough how important it is to save room for dessert--try the mango and sticky rice! It's the best I've ever had, and I've yet to find a place that can match it. If you're looking for delicious Thai food in a warm and welcoming environment, Thai Nary is the place to be I've taken so many friends and nobody has ever been disappointed

Mango with purple sticky rice and Thai tea

Come here for amazing authentic Thai food! First time here, everything was amazing! We got chicken skewers, yellow curry with chicken and mango sticky rice! The chicken skewers were sooo tender and delicious. The curry also had the perfect amount of spice. We had some left over and took the curry to-go, and the owner (Nary) was nice enough to give us a side of free rice! She also gave us a free Thai tea (tastes amazing) as we were leaving. The waitress and owner are so welcoming and nice and you can tell they put a lot of thought and effort into their business. Will definitely be back!! Thank you

The ambiance is more like a family owned diner, nothing fancy but also quite comfortable They offer lunch specials at very reasonable prices. The pad thai and pad see euw are always reliable, I personally haven't tried their curry dishes but I've had friends who thought it was quite good and were satisfied with their meal. Service is prompt and attentive. I didn't have to wait very long for my meal. I'm not an expert at Thai food, nonetheless I'm going to venture the food here is more authentic than other places I've dined at. For example, sometimes I've had pad thai that was too sweet, that's not the issue here. I really want to see this place continue to be successful. It's a comfortable place perfect for lunch and serves the students and staff at the nearby schools (Azusa Pacific and Citrus College) quite well with their food, service, and prices.

Went close to 6:00 pm and there were plenty of parking spots available in a shared plaza. It wasn't busy at the time so I was able to get my order quickly. Everything was ready and packed when I got there! I appreciate that they put the peanuts in a separate container. For the order, I got the Pad Thai and the combo platter. The pad thai was on the sweeter side. I got my order with pork as the protein choice. I felt if a lime was provided, it would help balance out the flavors of the noodles. The peanut was kept in a separate container, which I appreciated. The platter consists of a variety of items from dumplings, egg rolls, cream cheese wonton, wonton, and shrimp tempura. The container had holes to allow for the steam to escape, so most of the items were still crispy. Nothing from the platter particularly stands out in taste, besides possibly cream cheese wonton. Overall, it felt like an okay option if you're in the area.

I always confine my order to either Pad Thai or Pad See Ew. On this SAT, the eve before Memorial Day, I ordered two plates of Chicken Pad Thai. The pluses? The minced peanuts sparkled, as did the proportion of slivered carrots, green scallions and bean sprouts to chicken was ideal. The tamarind based sauce was excellent. Minuses? That the sauce in my second order was more plentiful- The first order was noticeably dryer than its follow up one was. There was a bit of a wait, they don't have much staff but they work very hard and as fast as possible. I got the duck noodle soup, which was a lot bigger than I thought. It's on the sweet side and it reminded me of what I ate at a village in Thailand, and I loved it. The duck was easy to eat as well, soft and tender. My mom got Queen of the Sea with a side of rice. She enjoyed it very much. I had some of the sauce with some rice, to taste. It was nice and creamy but it was still light. It didn't feel heavy in the stomach. The friend ice cream is a little uneven. One side, the bread was thin but the other side was super thick and hard to eat. It's perfectly crisp though, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bowl for the ice cream was really cute but I think a different bowl might be better because it was a little hard to eat without flinging it around. We got southern curry noodles, flaming drunken noodle at extra spicy, and Che Po. The curry noodles were good we got the flat noodles. Though my wife likes it more savory I like it more coconutty. The che po was okay, the rice was steeped in the sauce which was too much for my wife and some of the pork belly pieces were tough. The bbq pork and the duck was good though. Authentic Thai and Chinese fusion taste. The star of the show was the flaming drunken noodle. It's probably one of the best drunken noodles we've had. At extra spicy, it definitely brought the flame and the foavor in a big way. The portions and prices were great. We had to togo the drunken noodle and it got even better after we reheated it. -service was very friendly and quick -the restaurant is a good size, great for large parties. Has this place gone through new ownership?…read more I used to frequent Tantawan Thai Cuisine at least once a week -- it was my go to Thai spots because it's nearby. I would always order the Thai boat noodles, Pad Kee Mao, or Pad Thai, and they were consistently flavorful, bold, and satisfying every time. These three dishes were on constant rotation. Lately though, something feels very different. The flavor and overall taste of the dishes have noticeably changed. The Thai boat noodles no longer have that rich, deep broth, the pad kee mao isn't as smoky and punchy, and the pad thai tastes flatter and not as saucey than it used to. The food just doesn't hit the same. On top of that, the employees were clearly new. Service has been noticeably slower, and they repeatedly ask the same questions multiple times when I phone in my order. I've always mentioned that I don't want liver in my Thai boat noodles and that I like my pad thai spicy -- and before, that was never an issue or a back and forth conversation. Now, I'm asked the same clarifying questions over and over, and I'm even told that they "don't make pad thai spicy," which was never the case before. It's honestly disappointing because this used to be such a reliable weekly staple for me. I'm not sure if there's been a change in ownership, staff, or recipes, but the consistency in both food and service just isn't there anymore. I really hope they can bring back the quality and experience that made me a regular in the first place.
