    Pad See Ew ($18)

Love the feel of this place. It's kinda upscale homey. I wish the service was the same. I didn't get that personal experience or helpful vibe. A lot of workers but no personalization for our group. We had four people. No suggestions were made even though it was our first time here. Food was very good, although very pricey: Pad See Ew ($18) Panang Curry ($18) Crispy Soft Shelled Crab - 2 ($31) House Fried Rice ($18) Mango Sticky Rice ($15) Tasty and satisfying but a bit overpriced for me since the food was good and not that fancy. I'm not sure what I'm paying for because the service should be better at these prices. Ample parking.

I got a chance to return to Ari's Thai Eatery for dine-in to enjoy a lovely lunch in celebration of my dear friend's birthday. Happy Birthday, my friend! The day before, I called the restaurant to make reservations. I spoke with a nice lady who booked us a table at 11:30 AM for a party of 6 people. We were the first customers to be here shortly after they opened on a Saturday late morning. What a nice surprise! They had a Happy Birthday sign on the wall. Perfect for the occasion! Thank you. Plenty of inside dining space. Ambiance was lovely, warm, and cozy. Decor was simple with a touch of elegance. Love the soft yellow lighting... quite romantic actually! Wonderful place to bring family and friends or a date. Solo dining is good, too. We ordered a variety of dishes from salad to jerky to curry to noodles to rice. You name it, we covered it. I also got one Thai Iced Tea which was very delightful and not overly sweet. Appetizer: * Papaya Salad with shrimp - very fresh and crisp papaya mixed with huge shrimps in perfectly marinated lime juice, YUM says it all! * Chicken Jerky - tender and moist chicken, love the off orange color * Pork Jerky - amazing flavor with the right amount of fry on the outside, delish, my daughters would love this dish Main Dish: * Curry with duck - delicacy wins a WOW! Surprisingly good. * Pad Sewe with chicken - tasty chicken immersed in the BEST soft tender flat wide rice noodles that I've ever had, another winner for my daughters! * Pad Woon Sen with seafood - this was my top dish of the day, it showcased great wok flavor and tons of seafood which I love, must get every time! * Pineapple Fried Rice - this was good, but nothing that says WOW though All appetizers and main dishes were amazingly tasty and flavorful. Portions were big. I have nothing, but good things to say about all of the dishes. I would order everything again. Our server was pleasant and offered very good service. She was attentive and took good care of us throughout our meal. Thank you Miss! Highly recommend Ari's Thai Eatery! I'll be back with my Mom, my brothers + their families, and my daughters for more delicious Thai foods and amazing service in a lovely ambiance. What elevated our dining experience was one, our server asked if we wanted our cake to be placed in the frig while we're eating and two, they brought out a cake table along with the cake. So very thoughtful for the occasion. I love it! Thank you Ari's for the extra special attention and care in making your restaurant a great place to gather, dine, and celebrate!

I've been wanting to try this Thai restaurant since they've opened and finally found the opportunity. I didn't have a wait coming in on Saturday during lunch. The interior decor is elegant and clean. The staff were attentive and came by frequently to check on us. The Thai iced tea is really good! Strong tea flavor, but super smooth. Would definitely recommend. The fried calamari was perfectly fried. It was not overcooked and hard. It was soft and chewy. The breading was just right. Their aioli sauce paired with it nicely. It's very unique and has strong fish sauce flavor. The spicy catfish definitely has a kick. It is very flavorful and comes off a little salty. Definitely need to pair with some rice. The drunken noodles were very good too. The noodles are cooked just right. Excited to come and try more items on the menu in the future!

So beautifully decorated on the inside. Even though parking is tight, it is worth the hassle. The food is fresh, perfectly crafted and service with a smile.

I've been meaning to come back here ever since I tried a few dishes during a soft opening -- and I can't believe it took me so long to return and try their delicious offerings. We ordered the Thai Shumai, Drunken Noodles, and Yellow Pumpkin Curry. The Shumai was definitely a sleeper hit. The dumplings had amazing texture throughout and I loved the crunchy garnish and fresh cucumber. The Drunken Noodles were your typical drunken noodles-- delicious with fresh ingredients. We enjoyed the Yellow Pumpkin Curry, which with the squash stood out form the traditional yellow curries. The food arrived quickly and the staff was friendly. The entire restaurant is very modern and we loved the light wood decor. This place will definitely stay on my Thai food rotation.

Heard this place was very good so decided to give them a try. Ambiance: Very nice-looking restaurant. This is one of the few Thai restaurants that looks inviting. Very clean and warm atmosphere. Service: Staffs welcome us with a smile. Got seated quickly. This place can be very busy and waiting can be long. Luckily, we arrived early before the crowd. Food: Crying Tiger with Papaya Salad - the steak was very soft and juicy. So delicious. The Papaya Salad that came with it was crisp and delightful. I don't always order the Papaya Salad, but this dish forced you to have that as part of the meal. Wish they have the Crying Tiger without the Papaya Salad. And if I want Papaya Salad, I can order that as a separate item. This way you are not forced to pay extra for the Papaya Salad. This item was listed as Market Price, and it was over $60 for just this dish. Yikes! Spicy Catfish - this dish came with Eggplants. Didn't expect the catfish to be deep fried. It was good but wish the catfish was not deep fried. Kra Pow with Fried Egg over Rice - I loved this dish. The flavor was perfect, not too overbearing. It blends perfectly with the rice and fried egg. I enjoyed this dish.

Ari's Thai Eatery is truly a hidden gem! Every dish was super delicious and during the whole dining experience the staff is attentive and makes you feel extremely welcome. I tried a variety of dishes off their menu: Combo Pad Thai: 5/5 Although a little on the sweeter side, the pad thai was still packed with flavor. I ordered it with combo meats (chicken, beef, and shrimp) but might stick to just the chicken and shrimp next time. The beef was just average. However the chicken was very tender in this dish! Panang Brisket: 3/5 The panang brisket was a little bit disappointing. While the curry itself was delicious and their roti had the perfect amount of crisp, the brisket was not as tender as I would have liked, and they had barely given us any curry. I would opt for just the regular panang curry next time. Still highly recommend the roti as the perfect airy and crispy pairing to the curry! Spicy Fried Rice: 5/5 I had ended up selecting the "Crazy Spicy" level (highest spice level) for this dish and it was the perfect choice! While I have a high spice tolerance the crazy spicy level still gave a good amount of kick. The fried rice paired well with the crispy pork and had a bold peppery flavor with a hint of freshness from the basil. Chicken Satay: 100000/5 The chicken satay I have had here is by far the best one I have ever had. The tenderness from the meat was something i've never experienced before when eating chicken satay and the peanut paste was super creamy. The thai cucumber salad also gave it a refreshing kick with the acidity from the rice vinegar. This dish is a must try at Ari's! Ari's Chicken Wings: 4/5 The sweet and savor glaze on the wings was solid, and the wings were not overdone or dry. However, I was hoping for the wings to be a little more crispy. While it wasn't soggy by any means, a bit more crunch would have taken it to the next level. Overall, service was great and the food was amazing. This place is a hole in the wall that is worth visiting and I definitely will be returning!

I've heard of Basil & Co. and then found out about its sister restaurant - Ari's. Had tried neither but fate brought me here due to last minute plan changes...and sometimes, fate has a thing or two up its sleeve. Maybe three dishes up its sleeve. Arrived around 6:45 pm on a Saturday night and there was a line of people waiting to get a seat. Thank goodness for being a type A b/c I made reservations for 7 and was seated promptly. Yay!!! Service was prompt with water being brought to the table and then our server coming to ask if we were ready to order or would like something in addition to the water to drink. Wine will do. Wine will do very well. Then ordered three dishes: Papaya Salad - on the sweeter side and not as authentic as what I've had in Thai town but still really good. Kra Pow Duck Breast with Fried Egg over rice - had to order this b/c it's not a common protein for a kra pow dish. It was delicious and the Thai style fried egg...ugh...that is seriously the cherry on top. Pad Thai - ordered it with chicken and was delicious also. Solid dish and what I expected. Also love the ambiance. Not out there elevated where it's trying too hard to be what it's not. Just perfect without being stuffy. Will come back one day to try the curry and pad see ew.

Went to try their DineLa menu for dinner: $35. It was my first time dining here and got no introduction to the menu or asked if I've been here before. The server taking my order seemed to be in a rush. I got the Thai tea, Fried Calamari, and Kra Pow w/ pork. I got seated at the bar, service was alright not the best; maybe got checked up on once when the appetizer came out and that's it. The calamari was not my favorite of the night, the batter didn't hold structure. Kra Pow was good but nothing special.

We've been wanting to try Ari's Thai for a while and finally stopped in for midweek dinner. The minute we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised by the ambience and decor. It felt cozy and welcoming. Loved the Valentine's Day decor, which made it even more special. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Husband had the curry which he loved and I had the Kra pow with ground chicken it was so good. This spot truly feels like a little hidden gem, and we'll definitely be back to try more from the menu. So happy to have found this local spot

Ari's has a great DineLA lunch menu which is $25 per person. The DineLA menu for this winter is good up until 2/6/26. We came in on Sunday shortly after opening. This restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a family friendly vibe. The restaurant is clean and pristine. They have many TVs which is great for watching sport. The staff at Ari's is awesome. They are very efficient and patience. They constantly check in and make you feel right at home. This is what we ordered from the DineLA menu: App: Calamari & Pork Jerky Entrees: Yellow Curry & Kra Pow (both with chicken) Drinks: soda and Thai tea. All the food is stylishly presented. I love the way each dish looked. The most important part is the food tasted as good as it looked! The portions were generous. I love their take of the Thai dishes and the tastes they created. The Kra Pow had a great kick of spice for the medium spice level. Any egg on top of rice makes the dishes better. The yellow curry had great creamy texture. We enjoyed our time at Ari's. I'd love to come back and try the regular menu items. For DineLA, it's a great tasting menu for anyone who has never been. I most definitely give them my recommendation! Thanks, Ari's Thai Eatery! So glad to find another good Thai restaurant in my area. This was my second visit, and the first time I came was after seeing their pork leg and rice on TikTok. The portion was huge and so good I finished it in one sitting. I also love the decoration and interior--cute, modern, and refreshing. Finally a Thai restaurant that isn't decorated in the super old-school Thai style. The second time, I brought a friend and they loved the food too. Everything we've ordered so far has been consistently good. Definitely coming back.

Holy crap! This is the best Thai food we've had in years, hands down! We had seen it passing by a few times and kept forgetting to try it. After seeing Hungry 4 Munchies review it and love it we knew we had to try it immediately! (iykyk) The food is so fresh and delicious! Flavors are unreal! We were blown away! We will absolutely be adding this into our rotation! We were so excited to try it I forgot to take a pic until after, hahaha

Went close to 6:00 pm and there were plenty of parking spots available in a shared plaza. It wasn't busy at the time so I was able to get my order quickly. Everything was ready and packed when I got there! I appreciate that they put the peanuts in a separate container. For the order, I got the Pad Thai and the combo platter. The pad thai was on the sweeter side. I got my order with pork as the protein choice. I felt if a lime was provided, it would help balance out the flavors of the noodles. The peanut was kept in a separate container, which I appreciated. The platter consists of a variety of items from dumplings, egg rolls, cream cheese wonton, wonton, and shrimp tempura. The container had holes to allow for the steam to escape, so most of the items were still crispy. Nothing from the platter particularly stands out in taste, besides possibly cream cheese wonton. Overall, it felt like an okay option if you're in the area.

I was only in town to take a test nearby, but if I'm ever back in the area, I would 100% return and try the other dishes.

We went here for lunch today in search of the next great Thai spot and tantawan did not disappoint…read more Positives: -the food was great and they definitely brought the real spice. We got southern curry noodles, flaming drunken noodle at extra spicy, and Che Po. The curry noodles were good we got the flat noodles. Though my wife likes it more savory I like it more coconutty. The che po was okay, the rice was steeped in the sauce which was too much for my wife and some of the pork belly pieces were tough. The bbq pork and the duck was good though. Authentic Thai and Chinese fusion taste. The star of the show was the flaming drunken noodle. It's probably one of the best drunken noodles we've had. At extra spicy, it definitely brought the flame and the foavor in a big way. The portions and prices were great. We had to togo the drunken noodle and it got even better after we reheated it. -service was very friendly and quick -the restaurant is a good size, great for large parties. Negatives: None 5/5 overall We will definitely be back, we already have our eye on trying the pad Thai and the tom yum noodles. My wife wants to bring the spice down, but i want the smoke I want that extra spicy level again lol

Has this place gone through new ownership?…read more I used to frequent Tantawan Thai Cuisine at least once a week -- it was my go to Thai spots because it's nearby. I would always order the Thai boat noodles, Pad Kee Mao, or Pad Thai, and they were consistently flavorful, bold, and satisfying every time. These three dishes were on constant rotation. Lately though, something feels very different. The flavor and overall taste of the dishes have noticeably changed. The Thai boat noodles no longer have that rich, deep broth, the pad kee mao isn't as smoky and punchy, and the pad thai tastes flatter and not as saucey than it used to. The food just doesn't hit the same. On top of that, the employees were clearly new. Service has been noticeably slower, and they repeatedly ask the same questions multiple times when I phone in my order. I've always mentioned that I don't want liver in my Thai boat noodles and that I like my pad thai spicy -- and before, that was never an issue or a back and forth conversation. Now, I'm asked the same clarifying questions over and over, and I'm even told that they "don't make pad thai spicy," which was never the case before. It's honestly disappointing because this used to be such a reliable weekly staple for me. I'm not sure if there's been a change in ownership, staff, or recipes, but the consistency in both food and service just isn't there anymore. I really hope they can bring back the quality and experience that made me a regular in the first place.
