Was I brought here by fate, or was it a mere coincidence that I ended up here? Either way, I was happy that I tried it. After seeing the restaurant on ABC7 I immediately added it to my bookmarks (and forgot about it for some time). I just happened to be in the area running errands and did a quick search around me and low and behold, it was the first place that popped up. Hungry and anxious to give it a shot I placed a pickup order for my usual, Pad Thai. I ordered it as-is with chicken (normally I would remove the bean sprouts and peanuts, but heck, I need to live a little!). Fast forward to my pickup order being ready, I arrived and went into the restaurant. It's very spacious and at the time that I went, was decorated to congratulate new graduates. Now to my food. How was it? - Pad Thai: It was freshly made and piping hot. I normally would just say "F" it and dig in immediately, but I valued the skin on the roof of my mouth that day haha. The noodles were delicious, al dente, and had an unresistable flavor that made you want more. All ingredients (bean sprouts, peanuts, etc.) definitely made the meal. The chicken was good as well (not dry!). The portion was generous and filled me up. Parking wasn't so bad, I managed to get a spot by the entrance of the restaurant. After bookmarking Ari's Thai Eatery, I wanted to give it a try since I was craving Thai food. I ordered via phone and was advised it would take about 20 minutes for the order to be ready. I got there around 5 pm and it wasn't too busy at the time. The parking lot is shared with other businesses and was moderately full at the time. For the pickup, food was ready by the time I got there. There was a small hiccup with the payment system but only took a few minutes to resolve. Utensils and sauces were available at the front counter. American Express is accepted as an option. Pad Thai - This was pretty good and leaned towards the sweet side. They included a lime, which helped balanced the flavors. I got the dish with fried tofu in hopes of complementing the next dish. Crying Tiger - This order came with a papaya salad, which I acknowledged over the phone. Unfortunately this was a huge miss. I asked to prepare it as medium rare but some pieces were completely raw. I needed to microwave this at home to ensure it was cooked through further. The flavor itself was also just okay. The worst part was that the entire dish was not cut at all; I needed to do that myself. This was a huge letdown especially considering the price of the order. Found this place which opened only last April 2026. The open concept of the dining area is very inviting. Only a small place but they have several tables. They even have a bar seating area. They have authentic Thai food menu. The servers are also very welcoming. They have TV on one wall which is also good for those who would like to watch sports while eating. But then I remembered that they opened a sister restaurant called Ari's that I've been wanting to visit. Distance from my house is only a little bit further than Basil & Co, so no problem there. The vibe and decor is the same as the DB location and I think seats the same number of customers. Came here for dinner with my girlfriends and after our entree, the waiter handed us a dessert menu but never came back. It wasn't until I heard the waiter talking to another table that it was their last call for the kitchen that I had to flag him down to let him know that we wanted to order desserts. I tried a variety of dishes off their menu: Combo Pad Thai: 5/5 Although a little on the sweeter side, the pad thai was still packed with flavor. I ordered it with combo meats (chicken, beef, and shrimp) but might stick to just the chicken and shrimp next time. The beef was just average. However the chicken was very tender in this dish! Panang Brisket: 3/5 The panang brisket was a little bit disappointing. While the curry itself was delicious and their roti had the perfect amount of crisp, the brisket was not as tender as I would have liked, and they had barely given us any curry. I would opt for just the regular panang curry next time. Still highly recommend the roti as the perfect airy and crispy pairing to the curry! Spicy Fried Rice: 5/5 I had ended up selecting the "Crazy Spicy" level (highest spice level) for this dish and it was the perfect choice! While I have a high spice tolerance the crazy spicy level still gave a good amount of kick. The fried rice paired well with the crispy pork and had a bold peppery flavor with a hint of freshness from the basil. Chicken Satay: 100000/5 The chicken satay I have had here is by far the best one I have ever had. The tenderness from the meat was something i've never experienced before when eating chicken satay and the peanut paste was super creamy. The thai cucumber salad also gave it a refreshing kick with the acidity from the rice vinegar. This dish is a must try at Ari's! Ari's Chicken Wings: 4/5 The sweet and savor glaze on the wings was solid, and the wings were not overdone or dry. However, I was hoping for the wings to be a little more crispy. This restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a family friendly vibe. The restaurant is clean and pristine. They have many TVs which is great for watching sport. The staff at Ari's is awesome. They are very efficient and patience. They constantly check in and make you feel right at home. This is what we ordered from the DineLA menu: App: Calamari & Pork Jerky Entrees: Yellow Curry & Kra Pow (both with chicken) Drinks: soda and Thai tea. All the food is stylishly presented. I love the way each dish looked. The most important part is the food tasted as good as it looked! The portions were generous. I love their take of the Thai dishes and the tastes they created. So glad to find another good Thai restaurant in my area. This was my second visit, and the first time I came was after seeing their pork leg and rice on TikTok. The portion was huge and so good I finished it in one sitting. I also love the decoration and interior--cute, modern, and refreshing. A very nice Thai eatery in Azusa! The place has a decent amount of seating, and all the items you would hope for to find in a Thai restaurant. When I go into a Thai restaurant, I crave a lot of things from their stir-fry items like the Eggplant Basil, Pad See Ew, and a curry dish (Yellow Pumpkin Curry) , there fore I got them all to share and try, along with the Kra-Pow with Egg. The dishes are all very well presented and portioned great. My favorites were the eggplant, and Pad See are. Just loved the balanced flavor and textures. Even the Kra Pow was very tasty with the fried egg and just the great seasoning on the ground pork. The Pumpkin curry is what I always get when they are available but it was a little too sweet almost as if too much sugar was added to it. Lastly we can't leave without a little sweets specially the Sticky Mango Rice. But we also tried the Fried Bananas with ice cream. Holy crap! This is the best Thai food we've had in years, hands down! We had seen it passing by a few times and kept forgetting to try it. After seeing Hungry 4 Munchies review it and love it we knew we had to try it immediately! (iykyk) The food is so fresh and delicious! Flavors are unreal! We were blown away! We have tried Thai food from the OC, DTLA, Inland Empire and decided to try one near our home in the city of Azusa. Ari's Thai Eatery was a great surprise as everything that made it to the table brought a smile to our face and belly. Our servers were very friendly and constantly checked on us and refilled our water glasses. Not once did we have to call someone over. The decor was beautiful and elegant. The space between tables made it easy for people and servers to maneuver around and through. It was a great night as it was a celebration for Easter and my me and my wife's wedding anniversary. After reading great reviews on Yelp, my friend and I decided to try Ari's. I liked how the place was clean, welcoming bright, and vibrant. Interior decoration was relaxingly modern. The staff was friendly. Our server was especially nice, gregarious, and warm. I expected the food to taste as good as the reviews mentioned they were, but they were just okay. They made it up though for the generous quantity per order. The large quantity made up for the prices as well. What we ordered, and how I rate them: Eggplant Basil - 3/5 I didn't mind that it was spicy, but it lacked that certain delicious spot of flavor that I usually taste when ordering a similar dish from the other Thai restos I have eaten at. Green curry - 3/5 Presentation was good, but it was a bit bland compared to the usual Thai green curry I've tasted in Thai restos I frequent. Pad See Ew - 3/5 It was just okay. The beef was a bit chewy as it didn't easily cut/shred off when chewed several times. All in all, it was still a good experience. Kudos to the staff. read more

I was in the area and looking for a place for lunch, and this place caught my eye because of their nice review on Yelp. Parking lot was a little small, and it was busy during lunch time. It was a little difficult to find parking. We were seated as soon as we entered the restaurant. Severs were friendly and service was fast. We ordered pad see ew with beef and chicken satay. Chicken satay was served in a very fancy way. It was not in skewer format. The chicken was very tender. It went very well with the peanut butter sauce/paste/cream. Pad see ew was very flavorful; however, the beef was very rough, which was a bit disappointed. I will come back again if I am in the area. read more

We visited on Sunday, with a group of nine, for lunch and it was a very good experience. We had a reservation and were seated right away upon arrival. I would suggest reservations, it was quite crowded. The servers came by and took orders, they have a reasonable selection of beers. We started with many appetizers, including Pork Jerky, Calamari, and Wings. All were well prepared and tasty. From there we went with entrees including Hot Basil Seafood Combo, Chicken Fried Rice, and Red Curry. All were excellent. The service was outstanding, the servers kept up with refills and taking away dishes. Overall, a great place for Thai fare. read more

My favorite food critic, (the wife) and I finally made it to Ari's Thai. The ratings are the highest in our area and the reviews look promising. We were glad we did because the dining room, decor, food and service was top notch. The soup did not come out in the traditional hot pot style and that seemed odd. Prices were a little high but it is to be expected these days when eating out. Be sure to come visit and you will be impressed too. read more
