Sister restaurant to Basil and Co...just as delicious without a super long wait! I was so pleasantly surprised with my experience here! The interior is beautiful and such a well decorated restaurant. The food is also top notch. We got the crispy tofu to start. Tofu was so crispy on the outside yet so soft on the inside. The sweet chili sauce stole the show as well. So good. We got a tofu pad thai and an eggplant basil with soft tofu. The eggplant basil doesn't come with rice, so you have to order that separately. Both were soooo good. Price was a teensy bit higher than other places around, but this was totally worth it. Quantity and quality checked off!

When you step into Ari's you forget you are in Glendora, since this is a college town, with fast food row with every single franchise you can think of shoulder to shoulder down one long block that goes on for approximately a short mile. But the amazing thing is a hidden find, Ari's a sophisticated Thai restaurant whose ambiance and beautifully decorated walls welcomes you. It's refreshing to find an extensive menu and wonderful flavorful dining options. We had Tom Yum soup for the first time ordered it mild, but you can also request spicy as well. We had calamari, chicken satay, Rad Na and hot basil chicken. It was quite a lot of food for three of us and we took home quite a bit! Food delicious service always excellent! After bookmarking Ari's Thai Eatery, I wanted to give it a try since I was craving Thai food. I ordered via phone and was advised it would take about 20 minutes for the order to be ready. I got there around 5 pm and it wasn't too busy at the time. The parking lot is shared with other businesses and was moderately full at the time. For the pickup, food was ready by the time I got there. There was a small hiccup with the payment system but only took a few minutes to resolve. Utensils and sauces were available at the front counter. American Express is accepted as an option. Pad Thai - This was pretty good and leaned towards the sweet side. They included a lime, which helped balanced the flavors. I got the dish with fried tofu in hopes of complementing the next dish. Crying Tiger - This order came with a papaya salad, which I acknowledged over the phone. Unfortunately this was a huge miss. I asked to prepare it as medium rare but some pieces were completely raw. I needed to microwave this at home to ensure it was cooked through further. The flavor itself was also just okay. The worst part was that the entire dish was not cut at all; I needed to do that myself. This was a huge letdown especially considering the price of the order. Papaya Salad - This was a very small ratio and not well seasoned. I asked for mild but I guess that meant not being seasoned. OverallI could only recommend the Pad Thai at this time.

Found this place which opened only last April 2026. The open concept of the dining area is very inviting. Only a small place but they have several tables. They even have a bar seating area. They have authentic Thai food menu. The servers are also very welcoming. They have TV on one wall which is also good for those who would like to watch sports while eating. At this moment we just ordered but have not tasted the food. I will update my review after eating lunch. Just for the place and service quality, I will give them 4.7. Above average to a the typical Thai restaurant here in San Gabriel Valley area. UPDATE: We just finished our lunch and I would say, the green curry is full of flavor and with just the right amount of spiciness. The Garlic pepper with crispy pork is also flavorful. Our server, Howard, was very nice. I would give this experience with 4.8, added point for the food quality.

Love the feel of this place. It's kinda upscale homey. I wish the service was the same. I didn't get that personal experience or helpful vibe. A lot of workers but no personalization for our group. We had four people. No suggestions were made even though it was our first time here. Food was very good, although very pricey: Pad See Ew ($18) Panang Curry ($18) Crispy Soft Shelled Crab - 2 ($31) House Fried Rice ($18) Mango Sticky Rice ($15) Tasty and satisfying but a bit overpriced for me since the food was good and not that fancy. I'm not sure what I'm paying for because the service should be better at these prices. Ample parking.

I got a chance to return to Ari's Thai Eatery for dine-in to enjoy a lovely lunch in celebration of my dear friend's birthday. Happy Birthday, my friend! The day before, I called the restaurant to make reservations. I spoke with a nice lady who booked us a table at 11:30 AM for a party of 6 people. We were the first customers to be here shortly after they opened on a Saturday late morning. What a nice surprise! They had a Happy Birthday sign on the wall. Perfect for the occasion! Thank you. Plenty of inside dining space. Ambiance was lovely, warm, and cozy. Decor was simple with a touch of elegance. Love the soft yellow lighting... quite romantic actually! Wonderful place to bring family and friends or a date. Solo dining is good, too. We ordered a variety of dishes from salad to jerky to curry to noodles to rice. You name it, we covered it. I also got one Thai Iced Tea which was very delightful and not overly sweet. Appetizer: * Papaya Salad with shrimp - very fresh and crisp papaya mixed with huge shrimps in perfectly marinated lime juice, YUM says it all! * Chicken Jerky - tender and moist chicken, love the off orange color * Pork Jerky - amazing flavor with the right amount of fry on the outside, delish, my daughters would love this dish Main Dish: * Curry with duck - delicacy wins a WOW! Surprisingly good. * Pad Sewe with chicken - tasty chicken immersed in the BEST soft tender flat wide rice noodles that I've ever had, another winner for my daughters! * Pad Woon Sen with seafood - this was my top dish of the day, it showcased great wok flavor and tons of seafood which I love, must get every time! * Pineapple Fried Rice - this was good, but nothing that says WOW though All appetizers and main dishes were amazingly tasty and flavorful. Portions were big. I have nothing, but good things to say about all of the dishes. I would order everything again. Our server was pleasant and offered very good service. She was attentive and took good care of us throughout our meal. Thank you Miss! Highly recommend Ari's Thai Eatery! I'll be back with my Mom, my brothers + their families, and my daughters for more delicious Thai foods and amazing service in a lovely ambiance. What elevated our dining experience was one, our server asked if we wanted our cake to be placed in the frig while we're eating and two, they brought out a cake table along with the cake. So very thoughtful for the occasion. I love it! Thank you Ari's for the extra special attention and care in making your restaurant a great place to gather, dine, and celebrate!

My middle son wanted Thai food for his birthday dinner so we were going to go to Basil & Co in Diamond Bar. But then I remembered that they opened a sister restaurant called Ari's that I've been wanting to visit. We decided to come here since the menu is the same and I knew that the wait would be substantially shorter than the DB location (always a wait there). Distance from my house is only a little bit further than Basil & Co, so no problem there. The vibe and decor is the same as the DB location and I think seats the same number of customers. We were seated immediately upon arrival, but then I saw a table in the back that had "Happy Birthday" balloons taped on the wall so I asked if we could sit there instead and they let us. We ordered our usual favorites and tried some new things: Ari's Chicken Wings Larb salad with chicken Tom Kha Soup with noodles Curry Noodles Spicy fried rice Pad thai Drunken noodles Yellow pumpkin curry with rice Mango sticky rice Everything was great just like at Basil & Co! My whole family rated it 5/5 for every dish we ate. You honestly cannot go wrong with anything you order here. I was so impressed when the mango sticky rice came out, it was so beautifully arranged with the mango sliced and arranged around the sticky rice that was in the shape of a heart. SOO CUTE! They even put a candle on it, and brought out complimentary ice cream for the birthday boy! I love it here, I will be back the next time I am craving Thai!

Their food is always amazing, but I wanted to update my review based on experience. Came here for dinner with my girlfriends and after our entree, the waiter handed us a dessert menu but never came back. It wasn't until I heard the waiter talking to another table that it was their last call for the kitchen that I had to flag him down to let him know that we wanted to order desserts. After we placed our desserts, then the waiter slowly bussed our table. Anyway, we got mango sticky rice with ice cream ($18.99) and banana rolls with ice cream ($12.99). When the bill came, we didn't know adding ice cream was going to be +$4.00 per scoop. Like what? We didn't see anything about adding $4.00 for ice cream, but the mango sticky rice makes sense now that I had to go back to look at the menu again. But they charged us for the banana rolls w/ ice cream too! Highly suggest to update your menu to add ice cream +$4.00 like you do for your entrees because we were all caught off guard.

The appetizers, entrees, desserts, beverages, and the staff all received a five-star rating. I had planned to photograph the attendees once everyone was seated. However, there was a consistent queue for the delightful buffet. The appetizers included Calamari and Crispy Pork Belly. For salads, there was Cucumber Salad and Mango Trout. Panang Beef Curry was also available. Regrettably, by the time I finally joined the line, only a single piece of beef remained. The noodle selections were Pad Thai Shrimp and Pad Woon Sen with Vegetables. The main courses featured Cashew Nut Chicken and Eggplant Basil Fried Tofu. Beverage choices encompassed Almond Thai Tea, Thai Tea, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Lemonade, Lemon Iced Tea, Iced Tea, Soda, and a variety of Hot Teas. Dessert options were Banana Roll with Ice Cream, Mango Sago, and Mango with Sticky Rice. My husband and I intend to return. We plan to order the Crispy Pork Belly, Pad Thai Shrimp, and Panang Beef Curry. I thoroughly enjoyed all the desserts and find it difficult to choose a favorite. I must say, their Mango Sago was the finest I have ever tasted. I believe it contained mango, sago, jackfruit, coconut jelly, and palm fruit. Many individuals shared with me that it was their initial visit to this restaurant and expressed their intention to return, as well as to recommend Ari's Thai Eatery to others. I highly recommend reserving the restaurant for a private event. We thoroughly enjoyed having exclusive access to the delicious cuisine.

I've been wanting to try this Thai restaurant since they've opened and finally found the opportunity. I didn't have a wait coming in on Saturday during lunch. The interior decor is elegant and clean. The staff were attentive and came by frequently to check on us. The Thai iced tea is really good! Strong tea flavor, but super smooth. Would definitely recommend. The fried calamari was perfectly fried. It was not overcooked and hard. It was soft and chewy. The breading was just right. Their aioli sauce paired with it nicely. It's very unique and has strong fish sauce flavor. The spicy catfish definitely has a kick. It is very flavorful and comes off a little salty. Definitely need to pair with some rice. The drunken noodles were very good too. The noodles are cooked just right. Excited to come and try more items on the menu in the future!

This was our first time here, and it did not disappoint, quite possibly the best Thai food we've ever had! The restaurant is beautiful and has such a great vibe. Our server, Howard, was fast, efficient, friendly, and gave us excellent customer service from start to finish. The food came out quickly, which we really appreciated, we have young kids, and patience is not exactly their strong suit! Everything arrived fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. We loved it so much that we came back the very next day for takeout. Thank you for the amazing food and wonderful service, we'll definitely be regulars!

I've been meaning to come back here ever since I tried a few dishes during a soft opening -- and I can't believe it took me so long to return and try their delicious offerings. We ordered the Thai Shumai, Drunken Noodles, and Yellow Pumpkin Curry. The Shumai was definitely a sleeper hit. The dumplings had amazing texture throughout and I loved the crunchy garnish and fresh cucumber. The Drunken Noodles were your typical drunken noodles-- delicious with fresh ingredients. We enjoyed the Yellow Pumpkin Curry, which with the squash stood out form the traditional yellow curries. The food arrived quickly and the staff was friendly. The entire restaurant is very modern and we loved the light wood decor. This place will definitely stay on my Thai food rotation.

The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor & outdoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was eating my food in this establishment several months ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they were offering some at the moment. They currently do have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is located behind the restaurant at a local medical building parking lot. It's $1 each 9 minutes with a max of $13. Or you can try to find street parking and walk on over. Food: I ordered a Lychee Martini, Saigon Summer, Mamasan's Shrimp Cake Skewers, Truffle Wok Seared Noodles with Scallop, Slow-Drip Vietnamese Coffee Flan, and Banyan Tree Ice Cream. Before I started ordering, I was immediately given some house made complimentary shrimp chips. I loved how light and airy it was. It also had an amazing crunch. It tasted just like shrimps hahaha. My lychee martini was a crisp, refreshing cocktail that perfectly balances floral sweetness with tart acidity. Order this! The Saigon summer is a spicy, tropical blend of tequila, lime leaf liqueur, agave, butterfly pea infused triplum, and a Thai chili infusion. Not really up my alley, but I'm glad I was able to try it out. I think I dislike anything spicy and super bitter in my drinks. It just tasted odd. Mamasan's shrimp cake skewers features crispy, deep-fried shrimp cakes flavored with kaffir lime and lemongrass. It is served with skewers, charred pineapple, and a sweet garlic chili dip. Definitely get this. It was so crunchy, massive, and mouthwatering. The charred pineapple provided a sour yet sweet taste that helped off set the savory seafood / fishy taste in your mouth. The truffle wok seared noodles with scallop is a dish that combines savory, smoky flavor with luxurious truffle and tender scallops, which bridges the gap between classic Asian stir-fry and Italian comfort food. As a massive sucker for Italian food and all things truffle, this dish was my favorite. The al dente handmade egg noodles were wok-tossed in a rich black truffle sauce with delicious mushrooms, fresh Brussels sprout leaves, and perfectly seared scallops. I loved that I could taste the black truffles. The truffles added a nice rich, earthy, and highly savory flavor with prominent notes roasted nuts. GET THIS DISH!!!!! The slow-drip Vietnamese coffee flan is a silky, rich egg custard infused with bold phin-drip coffee and sweetened condensed milk. It offers a perfect balance of bitter roasted coffee and sweet creamy custard. This dish was super smooth, creamy, and delicious. I loved that Star Leaf added their own twist to this dish by putting a caramel golden cage on top of this already phenomenal tasting dessert. The caramel golden cage gave this flan a nice crunch. This dish wasn't too sweet for me. As a hater of super sweet things, this flan was just right. The banyan tree ice cream was a great way to end the meal. Super refreshing! I got two scoops of Thai tea ice cream and one scoop of the coconut ice cream. Both flavors were fantastic and tasted very creamy. Not too sweet, which is how I like it. Staff: The staff here are very attentive, friendly, welcoming, and polite. Elysha waited on me when I went. She was very attentive, informative, and personable. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

I am going to start with this is a must go place! 10000000% a hidden gem you won't forget anytime…read moresoon. We started with the pan-fried pork buns, shumai, crystal shrimp dumplings, xiao long bao, and cartoon sweet custard buns. Everything is made from scratch in their kitchen, which got us excited right away--so many places just steam frozen items and the freshness just isn't there. There's a big window into the kitchen so you can actually watch the chefs making each item specifically for you. The decor inside is trendy and really adds to the experience. There are flowers on the wall that are actually sewn with thread creating designs--unlike anything I've seen before. The seating is all in great shape and not neglected at all. Each table is stocked with soy sauce, black vinegar, chili sauce, and garlic. The staff is friendly and attentive. There's a giant projector screen that comes down along the wall with a projector and LED lighting throughout. I asked and they said they can do karaoke, and they also played World Cup games on it. There are several TVs playing various sports as well. Pan-fried pork buns - 10/10 This was my first time ever having them pan-fried and I'm glad I listened to the waiter's suggestion. The dipping sauce elevated the dish and brought it full circle. Being pan-fried gave them a slight crisp that was perfect. Shumai - 10/10 Just delicious. Crystal shrimp dumplings - 10/10 These were made fresh. I've had these at other dim sum places and it's been hit or miss--sometimes soggy, sometimes the wrapper is hard. That wasn't the case here at all. Perfection wrapped around shrimp. Xiao long bao - 10/10 I've had dumplings at places like Din Tai Fung, and I honestly believe these are better. The broth inside was bursting with flavor and the exterior was fresh and made perfectly. I'll be dreaming of these. Cartoon sweet custard buns - 9/10 These were delicious and so cute. The only thing I would have changed is giving the inside a bit more custard (personal preference--some people might think the balance is perfect). The rest of the bao was cooked perfectly, so soft, and the design made the experience that much more memorable. I highly recommend eating here. This is going to be one of our regular spots from now on.

I got the pineapple tea and it was so good. Service was great, and the place is really cute with the cherry blossom tree. Someone was celebrating a birthday while we were there, and they played happy birthday through the whole restaurant with special lights--such a fun touch! My only tiny gripe is no full bar, just beer and wine. That pineapple tea was so good it just needed a shot of vodka in it. Definitely coming back!

Now, let's get to the important part- the FOOD! -Garlic Prawns: 5/5 WOW chef's kiss. I got this because of all the positive reviews I saw on Yelp. I love love love how they left the shrimp's skin in the dish, where you could eat them like chips! They were not hard at all...and perfectly crisped! -Thai Steak Salad: 5/5 the steak MELTS in your mouth and was not chewy at all. I'm not sure how they were able to make the steak so soft and delicious. -Crying Tiger Lambchops: 5/5 I'm not a fan of lamb, but these lamb chop were deliciouso!! The sauced up lettuce side that it came with, complimented the lamb really well. -Nasi Goreng w/ Wagyu Ribeye Cap: 4/5 This Indonesian fried rice was good, but the Wagyu meat kind of tasted a bit odd, but maybe that's just me because my bf loved it. -Singaporean Chili Lobster: 3.5/5 I wasn't really a fan of this since the based flavor had such a strong tomato/ketchup taste... When I made the reservation, I politely requested if there was a way for them to make the bday celebration special, and I'm glad I wrote that because at the end of our meal, our server brought out a Pandan Crème Brulee: 5/5 !!! It was very delicious that we devoured it all! Overall I will def be back to try the oxtail dumplings that I saw people constantly ordering. Note, there is a 20% tip charge that automatically gets added to your check!

My wife and I were running errands in Pasadena and in the mood for a good brunch. Since Urth Caffe…read morewas packed, we did what everyone does and searched Yelp for a spot. We came across Bone Kettle, and the photos of pancakes, French toast, and other dishes looked great. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated right away. But when the server handed us the menus, I was surprised to find that none of the brunch dishes I saw on Yelp were on it. I even had to double-check the app to make sure we were in the right place! After discussing it, we decided to stay anyway since we both like Thai food. Unfortunately, the food fell short. The papaya salad lacked flavor --it wasn't tangy enough and definitely needed salt. The other main dish was decent, but we've had much better elsewhere. We also ordered an iced latte and a matcha latte, both of which were disappointing. I can tolerate average food, but not paired with a steep price tag. Our bill came out to $80 for just four items. To add insult to injury, a 20% tip was automatically added to the check. I won't be returning. You can find much better flavor and value at President Thai or The Boathouse. Skip this place-you can thank me later.

I got the Tantawan Fried Rice because from the description, it looked like it was basically their version of pineapple fried rice. It tasted exactly how I imagined it would. The rice had a really nice wok flavor, and everything blended together really well. It had that slightly sweet and savory combination that I like in pineapple fried rice without one flavor overpowering everything else. There were only two pieces of shrimp in the fried rice, which I do wish there were more of, but the shrimp themselves were excellent. They tasted fresh, were juicy, and were cooked to perfection. I also got the pad see ew with beef. It was not bad and definitely tastier than a lot of other pad see ew I've tried, but I don't think it would be my favorite. I was glad to see that they use gai lan instead of regular broccoli here lol. It makes such a difference for me and is what I expect in a good pad see ew. My only real gripe would be the portion sizes. I wish they gave you a little more food, especially since both dishes were pretty tasty. Overall, I enjoyed the Tantawan Fried Rice more and would definitely order that again. The pad see ew was good too, just not my favorite.

Heres what we ordered: * Beef pad see ew - really good & not too overly seasoned, it had the right amount of sweetness & salty. * chicken skewers - also really good, my husband loved it, especially their peanut sauce. * fried catfish w/basil spicy sauce - also really good * pad thai - I'm not a huge fan of pad thai but my husband & friend liked it. Overall, even though they told us no rush, we tried to be as fast as we can but the older lady working that night was so nice! I understand & speak Thai so for her to try to communicate & just chit chat with us made me feel like she's my auntie or something lol Highly recommend if you want some good thai food.

BUSINESS PERMANENTLY CLOSING 6/28/26…read more Came here with some gals for afternoon tea. It's a cute little restaurant in Old Towne Orange. It's decorated really cute inside and out! Everything was creatively planned and decorated. It was also very clean and spacious inside and out. When you go in, there's a tea sampling station with the menus so you can see which tea you would like to order. Our server was really sweet, but she was the only one serving all of the tables, so she would come by every 10-20 minutes to check on us and some things we asked for didn't make it to the table. If they had more servers, customers would be happy with quicker service. The food and tea were delish! There were 6 of us so we shared a bunch of different teas. I really enjoyed the teas they had. The sweet and savory treats were really yummy! I really enjoyed them. Each person got 5 little savory treats and 4 sweet treats. I kind of wish we got one or two more for $45, but either way they were delicious! We had a great time and were sad to learn that the business will be permanently closing down tomorrow (6/28/26), I would have loved to continue going back!

We got a variety of dishes to try out, and overall it was just ok. The soup was good but was a little light on ingredients, the papaya salad was decent with a little kick, noodles didn't really have much truffle taste but was ok, green beans were crunchy and probably the best dish here, and the mango sticky rice was not ripe. Most of the mango pieces were hard / not sweet and proportion to the rice was off. The staff was friendly and the space is very open and welcoming. Not sure if I'd come back though unless I was craving the Asian fusion tea service.
