We were pretty excited to get this place for dinner and it looked really good when we got it. We ordered the bulgogi fries (which came with wedges tonight) and the chicken teriyaki with rice. Bulgogi fries looked amazing, had some sort of pico on top with sauce. However, it was way too salty for us. We couldn't really eat too much because of the salt level. I think it was overdressed. Chicken teriyaki wasn't exactly what we expected. It looked more like ground chicken, however the kids liked it enough. Also came with a side of pico and cabbage slaw. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Wouldn't mind trying again after they adjust the salt level, or maybe I would recommend getting the sauce on the side for the fries. read more

The food here was absolutely amazing! I was planning to go easy on carbs today, but after trying their fries, I just couldn't stop. We ordered the beef bulgogi fries and the spicy pork bulgogi platters. They loaded us up with delicious sauces that paired perfectly with the meats. Even their coleslaw was completely on point! All the sauces were very good. Since the place is new, they're still getting the place together, but the food is spot on. Service is pretty good. We were the only ones there at the time though. I think the trend of Kogi was always a good trendsetter. I always liked the influence of Korean + Mexican fusion together. While the restaurant is small, overall I did think their food was pretty good and solid. The price is actually decently priced and they give a lot of food. I tried their Spicy Pork quesadilla and bulgolgi fries. First I definitely wanted to try how both the meats are and they were both good. The bulgolgi isnt oversalted and has a good sweetness to it while the spicy pork surprisingly was a good combination with the quesadilla. Surprisingly though, there was a good tomato + onion relish(pico de gallo but it's their style) and I LOVED that but I'm probably sucker for relishes. While I do prefer the bulgolgi fries, I did really enjoy the the sides in the quesadilla(the salad/cole slaw + jalapenos + pico). As far as I know, they are new and are working new things. If I had to complain about something, I didn't care for the house made sauce that much. This is just me the sauce was a little salty and while ok going with the quesadilla, I just felt like it could be better. Maybe that's just me on the sauce but besides that I thought overall the food was good and hope they strive in this small plaza. I will definitely come back to try their other stuff. read more

My partner and I ordered dinner from here, and we were blown away. I got the plate with the 50/50 chicken and beef bulgogi, and my partner went with the ribs and beef bulgogi tacos. Every single item was packed with flavor, and the portions were generous. Accidentally stumbled upon this new gem. Did a phone order, the staff were kind, polite and welcoming. Ordered the Galbi Platter, bulgogi quesadilla and spicy pork fries. The galbi platter was my favourite, served with side order of Cole slaw and pico de gallo. The bulgogi quesadilla was a little on the salty side, Cole slaw on point but missing the cheesiness I'm used to. Spicy pork fries was tasty, but after adding a side of Cole slaw on top of the fries, flakes went up a few notches. All were very large portions (good enough to share), packed with varies flavors. I tried both of the refreshers, the watermelon and melon, and they were both extremely delicious! The melon was definitely my favorite! For the food, I ordered the fries, and they were really crispy and cooked perfectly. Since the restaurant has more of a fusion style, I think adding a side of lemon and something spicy, like salsa or Sriracha, would make them even better--especially for those of us who love a little kick! I also had the short rib plate, and it was spectacular. The meat was flavorful and really satisfying. I think having little packets of soy sauce or Sriracha, and maybe a sweet teriyaki-style sauce on the side, would be a great addition as well. Overall, I really loved my experience here. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel like I was being treated like family, which honestly made the experience even better. Came here last week and I talked to the cashier, he was super helpful with the menu. I got a bulgogi monster fries, the bulgogi rice plate and 2 refreshers. The bulgogi fries I give it a 9.5/10. The rice plate I give it a 9/10 would have been a 10/10 if I had more , in terms of pure flavor for sure 10/10 but I was really hungry that day and I ended up eating some of my girlfriends monster fries which I think I should of gotten. The refreshers were good I tried the watermelon and melon one. I liked the melon one over the watermelon but both were really good.
