We wanted to try this after passing it several times. The food truck is clean and the street is between factories after the Arco Gas Station. The platter is between 18 & 20 dollars but so worth it. We feed four people with this platter, I should have ordered more rice and beans!!! The rice is fluffy and tender and the refried beans are the best we've had. The bbq ribs are so yummy from the rub and cooking, tender, moist and the best I've had in years. The asada, chicken, and sausage are all cooked to perfection! My PERSONAL opinion, you won't be disappointed! First & foremost, the customer service from the owner of Gordos is phenomenal. He's personable & friendly. There's something to be said about great customer service during these times where it seems lost. So, for this alone I'd be a repeat customer. However, I'll be a repeat customer in addition to the quality of tacos that match the quality of customer service. I could smell the flavor in the air & I could not wait to get home to eat. The flavor matched the aroma. This was some of the best wood fire grilled asada I've had in a street taco. It had none of the fat & all of the flavor. The meat was my favorite part. The smokiness, tenderness & flavor were spot on for the perfect street taco. I had traditional toppings & red salsa that added completeness to an already delicious taco. I've been meaning to do this for a while now. I tried one of his chicken wood grilled burritos. I don't normally like grilled chicken especially in burritos, but this was the BEST CHICKEN BURRITO!!!!!!! I've ever had! The wood grill taste, with all the salsa and fixings, was perfect. We had the pleasure of working with Jose for our Wedding on June 29, 2019. At first we reached out to Jose for a catering inquiry, but due to his vast connections and variety of services, we quickly realized this could be a 1 stop shop. Services that Jose ended up providing us were catering, planning, day of coordination, clean up, and beyond. All of this for an incredible value! Since we were planning our wedding from out of state, it was difficult to work with some vendors. Jose made it very easy and was constantly checking in via email, txt, and phone calls. He made himself available to us on short notice and went above and beyond by sending me frozen vacuum packed samples of meats so we can decide what to have at our wedding. Jose took care of all coordinating with our other vendors and made sure everyone knew what they were supposed to do and when. His team was also at the church ceremony to make sure our guests knew where they needed to be for pictures and our grand send off. At the reception, Jose's team helped seat our guests and made sure they had appetizers. Thoughout the course of the night, he checked in multiple times to make sure we were happy with the flow of the event. When things went wrong (running out of TP, low on ice, etc), Jose was there to run to the market and pick some up. Our guests LOVED the food. We had many compliments as many weren't used to seeing tacos at a wedding. However, Jose's setup is appropriate for weddings and looked elegant along with the rest of our decorations. "When are you two getting married again?" was a common question since everyone had so much fun. Overall Jose's goal was to make our wedding stress free and an incredible time for our guests. He accomplished this goal and beyond. I'd recommend his services for any type of event and I'm sure we'll be working with him again in the future. read more

The employee at the front said the friday night rush just finished. I ended up ordering the carne asada nachos. The carne asada was cooked to perfection. It tasted well marinated and well season and tasted as if it was bbq'd rather than cooked on a flat top grill like many others. It came with liquid nacho cheese and another type of cheese both of which complemented the carne asada perfectly. They have a really big salsa bar which was well stocked with fresh salsas and sides. She very stingy on the meat portion's and she did not bring enough for meat for what we paid for. This is the most delicious taco catering we've ever had, and we've tried many throughout the years. The meat is perfectly seasoned and fresh and the tortillas are home made and just the perfect texture. My kids love the quesadillas. Even their fruit juices we're yummy. Jose is friendly, efficient, responds quickly, and easy to work with. They come two hours before their serve time to set up and start cooking and leave any leftovers for you and clean up after themselves. We used them for a baby shower and are using them again for my kid's birthday and will continue to use them and recommend them for other events. I attended a wedding that was catered by the taco bar and the meats were juicy, delicious and cooked perfectly. Pair that with the best salsas you'll get from any catering company I've come across and awesome service and that's how we get to 5 stars. I'd go higher if I could. It's that good. This husband and wife duo do it right. Highly recommend Gordos! I had only a weeks notice that family was coming from out of town to visit. Luckily, working with Jose was easy; and he was able to cater a Friday taco night party for 50. I selected chips and salsa, tacos with 3 meats (they have great selection) , quesadillas, rice and beans, with all condiments, and churros for desert. Jose was very responsive and professional. We even received a typed invoice of our order so I confirm all my choices. Prices were competitive and payment options were easy.
