Bomb! I got a breakfast burrito with peppers, bacon, egg, beans, pico de gallo, and salsa. With a horchata. Would definitely come back and try more items. But the tortilla and the beans were so delicious. Really hit the spot and field me up for a heavy leg workout. Parking in front, to-go and dine-in, sweet employees

Spanish omelette (added my own salsa since it didn't come with any)

Everyone was friendly, very attentive and courteous. The food was fine. I can't say it was the most delicious I've ever had but it wasn't bad. I had a Spanish omelette, which was basically an egg omelette stuffed with chorizo and topped with pico, cheese and avocado. It was served with a side of hash browns. I ate it, but I wouldn't order it again. My husband had the red chilaquiles. He felt the same. It was fine, but not the best he's ever had. I might return and try a few other things, not sure though.

This place is amazing cannot believe no reviews in over 1 yr. I had to come pick up an item at the nearby Costco and decided I needed my Mexican fix. This did the job I ordered the Chile verde burrito $8.99 wet extra with verde the huge size could easily by shared but the meat was done to perfection with rice beans inside it weighed over 2 lbs. my hubby ordered the pescado burrito with red sauce equally large but I have to be honest mine was better more flavor. Employee super friendly love these little authentic places that I stumble across. 2 thumbs up

Special #1. It was really good and the spicy salsa was perfect on my eggs and hash browns. I will come back.

Bought an order of albondigas and rice yesterday since it was a cold day. The place is small and clean. The order came with a side of tortillas, I chose flour they were ok. As soon as I got home to "enjoy" them I was really disappointed with the quality and smell- like a bitter smell I can't explain. I figured it was fat so I just refrigerated them to let the fat clump and I could scoop and toss. The pics prove my smell was correct. The serving had ONE cut of potato little bit of carrots and zuchinni but the chayote/squash sucked. I'm biased because I don't like chayote. Anyway l, I took pics when I opened and after warming up (on stove). They're expensive, the ground meat is not good quality and the serving is small. If they work on those 3 things they will be much better.

Everybody was very nice. It looks great on the photos, but food was very bland. The horchata was good.

This kind of Mexican restaurant is right up my alley. Great food, stiff drinks, excellent service, and lively atmosphere. Oh, and plenty of chips and salsa!! I had the two tacos combination platter (one beef, one chicken) w/ a skinny jalapeño margarita. Along w/ guacamole to accompany the chips and salsa for the table - this meal was incredible. I could've walked out and gotten hit by a bus and would've been happy that this was my last meal. We were seated upstairs and it was a little more intimate and cozy w/ low ceilings (look out tall people!). Service was so on point, we never had to rubberneck once, the servers were always present without being overbearing. Not sure if there is dedicated parking for the restaurant, but there was plenty of street parking during Sunday afternoon. I think I found my new favorite Mexican spot in the Covina/Azusa area!!

The evening we went the restaurant was 80% full. The staff greeted us when we walked in. I believe one of the gentleman might have been the owner himself. He was super welcoming . The restaurant has great decor all over the restaurant and a lively atmosphere. The staff that helped us were all attentive and personable. We were given chips and salsa shortly after seating. I love the locations that offer fresh crispy chips. I ended up ordering one of Desebrada Shredded Beef Burrito (wet) and they told me I could do the half red and green sauce. I also ordered one of the Chicken Dorado (crunchy taco). My wife ordered a taco combo plate and Jalapeño Vodkarita. The portions were generous and abundant. My burrito was hefty! I enjoyed every bite of that wet burrito. Saucy and full of deliciousness. The affordable pricing is great because of the amount of food. The taco was fine, but I'd got with a burrito again since you can take the rest home. My wife enjoyed her food and drink. We had never been here in all these years. Max's Mexican Cuisine will be on our list again when are craving some Mexican food. ( ^_^)b

They do not skimp on their portions and actually care how their food looks at the time of service. This place makes sure their food looks nice, but don't charge you extra for that. Service: 5 out of 5 their employees are very pleasant and professional. They gladly answer all your foodie ingredient questions. They are more than accommodating. You will see, they are genuinely nice. As far as the ambience goes, for certain a stro g 4 out of 5. Nothing can be more comforting than to sit back and relax here. They have hi tables woth stools, as well as the hybrid style booth/table combo. Fans are always circulating and it is definitely not too stuffy. They do have music playing in the background, but it is not too loud like many places do. We have been back to try new and different dishes....all have been very tasty. A smaller and cozy place to have a nice meal. I can tell they cater to the local college students and offer a student discount. ***Hidden Bonus: their café de la olla is DELICIOUS! You can twll they make it fresh regularly and do not let it sit. It is by far waaaaay nicer than what they serve anywhere in the area. We would drive to get a nice cup in Monrovia, but this café de la olla beats it hands down. It is NOT bitter, nor is it over sweetened! So.etimes we swing by for a To-good cup. We recommend this place for everything: nice food served with a friendly smile.

He was unhappy about that. He could have chosen something else if given the choice. The torta was all bread with very little meat. Bread was not even toasted. It was dry. Not the worst torta he's ever had he said but didn't care to return and order this ever again or anything else from the menu. daughter had the Nutella pancakes. She liked them. There are two Fridays left if you want to partake in the seasonal dishes offered during this time, please bookmark this restaurant. We ordered the two Specials of the Day (Fri., 3/28/25): 1. Capirotada (bread pudding with peanuts & raisins in syrup) $10. We also had Enchiladas in Poblano Mole. Each entree included a cup of Fideo soup, a side of rice and beans. I could not resist the Cafe de Olla (Mexican coffee brewed with a cinnamon stick), this was served with two cookies in a ceramic mug. This is how you would be served in someone's home. I was stunned when they brought it to me. The food was authentic, delicious, good portions. You will love how the food is plated and presented in ceramic dishes (pottery). We didn't finish and brought the rest home for dinner. I literally was transported back to my childhood, when my grandmother would cook these two same dishes during Lent. Food has been excellent! My daughter kept saying delicioso (Can you say delicioso? *Dora the explorer*) haha. We've made multiple trips since our first time. Carne en su juego had a great tasting salsa. Sopes had a nice crunchiness to them. Chile relleno was very good and juicy. The enchiladas were all very good. One of the things I've enjoyed are tbe hand made tortillas, it's hard to find now a days. They have aguas frescas and it's actually fresh so they may only have one or two each day.
