This restaurant reminds me of your Mother's or Tia's place you go for breakfast! I love it! They did have an authentic menu of your traditional favorites. We have had several of their dishes and they are all great! Staff is a mixture of relatives and long serving employees, you almost feel like your at home. The owner is often times seen up front sitting there with her beautiful smile, greeting her customer and her 'regulars"! I saw a post of theirs on Instagram that they have decided to change directions on their menu to some Italian Dishes. Customer service. We came to this restaurant because our relatives informed us about the excellent food at this site. On their website, it indicates they close at 2 pm on Mondays. We came in approximately about 5 minutes before 12 pm, and the female person kept telling us. We close in 45 minutes. And she kept repeating it. We close in 45 minutes. She was adamant about letting us know they close in 45 minutes. We all decided to go ahead and leave because we didn't like the tone of her voice and the time constraints. I wouldn't have given this rating if we werent treated so rudely. She could have been more professional about informing clients about the closing time and not the way she did. 3/26/26 Guadalupe's Mexican Restaurant Azusa, CA... Came here today with mi compa Marcelino for the LA Dodgers Baseball Opening Day pre-game meal. We both had the $8.99 breakfast Huevos Rancheros special which included a Cinnamon Coffee! The food dish and coffee both tasted so good! Great service and a clean restaurant! Carmen and our server lady were so nice! I wanted to get some of the Dodger day specials, but I was told that was not until after 4 pm. The online flyer didn't specify that. Wow what a great place had a taco, cold beer and a pork tamale. The taco was $2.00 and packed with shredded beef, lettuce, and cheese. The taco was a hit! The tamale had sauce and cheese. What a great surprise the tamale was moist and flavorful. The masa was cooked and seasoned well. I would definitely order again. Excellent service. Greeted right when we walked in. Friendly staff. Plenty of seating. Spacious. I love the music they play. They even have the TV playing with cool shows on. This local family own mom and pop shop is a must when you're in town. The staff is so attentive and friendly. Erica was our server and made great suggestions. A local joint located in the Southwestern part of Azusa, near where Azusa, covina and Irwindale come together. Definitely a local hangout, servicing the neighborhood. Many of the customers were regulars, as you can tell how they interacting with the wait staff. Unfortunately, I'm not a regular and I'm not from the neighborhood. The food was not what I was expecting, my menudo, was lacking in flavor, watered down, had to add every condiment on the table to just give it some flavor. My buddy's Huevos rancheros was overly salted, so try to figure that one out?? The chips and salsa was decent. Our waitress was ok, but there was an older waitress, who was the star of the dining room, she was super nice and friendly. From the outside I thought it looked a little sketch but I was wrong! From the moment you walk in there, you're are greeted from all the waiters/ waitresses. It was my first time here and I was very disappointed with my whole experience. The food took about 40 minutes to come out, the waitress was lacking good service. I ordered the chilaquiles with shredded beef and scrambled eggs. The chilaquiles and beef were very dry, lacking sauce. I didn't even see eggs in there. It was cold by the time it got to the table.
