I've been to this location of La Bufadora numerous times over the years. My main order is pretty much just the fish tacos. This place gets so packed during lunch and certain days due to special daily deals. The interior has a mixture of tables and high top tables. Came by for lunch for the $3 Fish tacos and boy it was crowded. Constant line and all tables occupied. I grabbed mine to go and enjoyed it all the same. I love Baja Style Fish tacos because of the battered fish they use. La Bufadora always served these fresh and hot! The topping and the peppers always hit the spot when I'm craving it. Quality and value! That's what you get a Bufadora. Their "special" days are definitely the best days when they have fried shrimp or fish tacos at a lesser price. The batter is always on point- not too thick and the crispiness is solid. I believe Wednesday is fish and Sunday is shrimp. We also have enjoyed their potato tacos, and their menudo which is another prime choice! Overall, we enjoy Bufadora and visit frequently. If you're a salsa person, it's a little like pulling teeth to get extra but their salsa definitely hits the spot- both green and red (spicier!). read more

Solid amount of meat for the Taco Tuesday price of $1.50. I didn't try any of them though because the tacos dorados de papa were calling my name. It's part of the value meal and comes with two potato tacos for $6.50. It took a while for it to come out but they were fresh so nothing really to complain about. I didn't like that the salsas were pre-packaged though so I don't know if they're made in-house or purchased from elsewhere. It's located inside the Jack in the box shopping center off Irwindale and Arrow Hwy. It is a small place with about 6 tables, it's clean and the service is quick. We wanted to try so we ordered the fish taco. It's a Baja Style menu and it lives up to that! The fish was breaded and fried, topped with cabbage, pico and creama. It was freshly made and the first bite made me want more! The combo comes with chips and guacamole with a small drink, this meal was very filling if eaten alone but we shared so we could try the shrimp burrito. The burrito was filled with fluffy perfectly cooked rice, frijoles de olla/ beans, cabbage, pico, creama, and grilled shrimp. We cut it in half and you can see how packed this burrito was, YUMMY! When I first started coming to this restaurant, the service was great and the food was high quality. Unfortunately, over time, everything has changed for the worse. The quality of the food has gone downhill. They now charge 75 cents for each salsa, which wouldn't be an issue if the service matched the price. I'm not asking for anything for free. Every time I come here, I spend between $60 and $80, and I always pay for the extra salsas and sour cream I order. On several occasions, I've specifically asked for no onions on my tacos, yet they continue to ignore my request and serve them with onions. What disappoints me the most is the staff's bad attitude whenever a customer makes a request or asks them to correct a mistake. After giving this restaurant several chances, this was my last visit. It's disappointing to see a place that once had great food and service decline so much in both quality and customer service. This was my first time here. My family is very fond of Marisco's and love trying new places, hoping to find "our spot". Very small place, can get crowded. I ordered 2 lG Cocktails ($20 & $22), 1 LG Ceviche Torre ($19.50) and 2 Shrimp Tacos ($4.50ea). All food was good, could have it been better...Yes, but I was at least pleased with it. The service and condiments are what got them the 3 stars. I absolutely hate when restaurants pinch you with what you would normally get at the restaurant if you dined there or at the very least SHOULD provide. we got (6) very small tostadas, (6) packaged crackers, 2 quarter limes, 4 packaged Tapatio's. When I insisted that I wanted some other type of Salsa's, at the very least..."Give me an option", the lady scolded me to attempt to tell me that all that should go with Tapatio!?!?!?!?!? WTF....OH don't go there!! I asked for Salsa Matcha, Chile del Arbol or Guacamaya. Yeah....NO, what about Mayonaise......YUP that either. I guess I'm lucky I walked out!! We didn't dine inside, but there was seating available if we had wanted to. They seemed to keep up with the cleaning of the inside of their store. The staff we interacted with were nice. I was craving fish tacos and found this shop on Yelp. They're located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. They also make tacos and other dishes with different meats and shrimp. The customer service is good. You're able to place your order at the counter, directly next to the entrance. Once your food is ready, your order is called. You pick it up from the pick-up counter and can sit down to eat on one of the tables they have. I ordered a fish, a grilled shrimp, and an asada taco. The tacos were delicious. The standout taco was the fish. I appreciate the nice ratio of fish to breading. There was more fish than breading, which is perfect. The breading is also light and crispy. The shrimp were large and seasoned well. The asada was flavorful. The tacos come with a grilled pepper and different salsas. I will be back when I'm craving fish tacos. read more

Wow. This didn't go well. I actually love buffadora. Idk what happened. Maybe I came too late. Maybe they had a bad day. My party and I ordered two burritos, asada fries and a side of chips. But before i get to that, let me say that service was weird. The young lady working on a Saturday night was emotionally dead lol almost like Siri. Maybe she was tired and ready to go home. They close at 9, we showed up at 8. People kept coming in at 9:55 so I think she was upset. Anyway, the tortilla on my burrito was a bit hard. Too many onions on the other burrito and the asada fries were basic. The chips were old and stale. So gross. No need to complain. I was just ready to go. The Fish Tacos here have been by far my Top favorite in the San Gabriel Valley. I have been coming here since my early 20's and never once have I been disappointed. The tacos are very flavorful and the condiments on the side are delicious. The yellow charred chiles give it that extra touch and even the salsas are great!
