They require ahead of time order (my plate was 1hr wait) and give you this paper with a QR code that directs you to the website where you can choose from tons of different customizable options. I decided on the tri tip steak and eggs and was extremely satisfied with my choice. Upon picking up my order, super cool dude at the front guaranteed my satisfaction and told me it was his favorite plate. When I got to my car, the smell of the food in the bag was incredible. Nice weight to the bag of food as well, always a good sign lol. As soon as I opened the box, the presentation was perfect. 4 buttered wheat toast, 4 eggs made how you like, I ordered over easy, and a ton of sweet potato's with the tri tip laying on top of the potato's. EVERYTHING was seasoned perfectly and the steak was deliciously tender. Literally melted in your mouth. I couldn't be more happier with my order. I do eat more than the normal person but this plate was a perfect amount of food for the price and the quality. On a side note, if youre on the eco friendly side, this place gives you your order in those thick compostable containers and biodegradable bag to carry the food which I think is awesome of them 10/10 experience and taste. We had ordered the meatballs and the tri-tip with veggies and potatoes on all of the plates. The potatoes were not cooked thoroughly and were not even forktender. The meat was extremely overcooked on each plate. when we had reached out to give our feedback and possibly receive a refund, we spoke with William who informed us to text photos, mind you texture cannot be observed through photos. When asked where to send the photos to William impolitely said the number you just called. They were unable to offer a refund & the only form of reimbursement was replacement meals and they'd replace the potatoes, who is coming back to only get potatoes... Delicious and healthy food. They are generous with the portions compared to other meal prep services I've tried. My favorites are the Turkey meatballs, tri tip, and ground beef. Sweet potatoes and red potatoes are my favorite carbs, but the quinoa and rice are also good and fluffy. I haven't tried the pasta, tofu, or seafood proteins. They say their meals last ten days in the freezer but I've had no issues keeping them longer. I just thaw each meal the day before I eat them and they come out great after heating in the microwave. Luckily we found Easyfit Co through an Instagram ad and it was exactly what we needed! It's a meal subscription and they have meal plans ranging from weekly to bi-weekly to monthly. Since we just wanted to test out the waters a bit, we opted for the weekly. Price-wise, it's not too bad. We ordered 5 days of meals for 2 people, so 10 in total. They came to be $9.99 each with an extra $9.99 for delivery. We used code HEALTHY20 for an additional 20% off. At that promotion price, it's definitely a steal so I would recommend anyone to try it at least once. I ordered on a Thursday and they delivered the following Sunday, so pretty quick service. The 10 meals came in cute little microwave-able boxes. They text you when the delivery starts and give you a map on real-time to see where they are on the delivery. Very efficient. All 10 boxes came in a paper bag with handles. Each meal comes with a protein, carb, and veggie. Very balanced but also very simple meal. The portions are a little smaller than what I would've liked. But they all taste very healthy and it's so convenient too. I like that this comes from a local business as well; you don't have to worry about your meal not being fulfilled due to high demand like the more well known meal delivery companies. Not good at all. Period! I tried Territory Foods, Freshly and I expected the somewhat similar quality of food from Easyfit. Not true! Easyfit's plan was little bit cheaper than other ones but the quality / portions were wayyy below my expectation. All of the food taste the same. I received four types of food on the first week which tasted the same / not good at all. (chicken, shrimp, egg, salmon) and the following week, I received the same thing! After receiving the item, I immediately cancelled the subscription. I received chicken breast looking meat with broccoli in some sort and the meat was super hard! I tried microwaving it from 30 seconds to full 2 mins and the chicken were still hard as a rock. I would have to eat 4 of the same meal for the whole week. Sauteed Shrimp wasn't that bad but the portions were super small. I would have to grab either a snack / full meal to be somewhat okay. Egg custard looking meal. Worst thing ever! Egg smells as if it was weeks and weeks old. I understand the ingredients are not organic, but come on! My 9 year old nephew can make better than that. Salmon: mediocre, but definitely not too fresh.
