They require ahead of time order (my plate was 1hr wait) and give you this paper with a QR code that directs you to the website where you can choose from tons of different customizable options. This location is at Edgewood Shopping Center in Azusa. They aren't as big as some of their other locations. I came here for fresh guacamole, maple syrup, and whipped butter for a team potluck lunch. Plenty of parking. Store was bright and clean. Shelves were well organized. I didn't have much time to peruse all the aisles and sections. I found my 3 items and went straight to the register. Check-out was fast and easy. Staff was friendly. No long lines. Maybe it was still early in the morning. It was a very quick visit. It's definitely worth another visit the next time I'm in the area. Vallarta has so much to offer and love. What's not to love about Vallarta!

My entire family was sitting in the little restaurant/eating area inside the store eating food we had purchased there. We also bought drinks from the self-checkout/register area. What makes this situation even more frustrating is that the employee who came up to us was literally the same employee who told us that we could use that register. We followed her instructions, paid for our drinks, and went to sit down with our family. Later, she came up to us and said that the cameras had "detected" that we had opened the drinks and that there were no stickers on them, then asked us if we had the receipt. The entire interaction made us feel like we were being accused of stealing. What is especially frustrating is that when we were actually paying, she was right there but was too busy talking to another employee instead of paying attention. Then somehow we were the ones being questioned afterward. If there was an issue with our purchase, she could have simply asked us respectfully what happened instead of approaching an entire family and making us feel embarrassed and accused of stealing when we had literally paid for the items at the register she directed us to. I understand that employees have to prevent theft, but there is a HUGE difference between doing your job and making paying customers feel like criminals. After this experience, you have officially lost a customer. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I followed up on Tuesday, July 7, and was told that refunds typically take three to five business days. By July 13, I still had not received the refund, so I reached out again but received no response. I followed up once more on July 14 and again received no response or refund. This is especially disappointing because I had been ordering meal-prep meals from them on and off for more than a year. I understand that unexpected problems happen, but a business should communicate with its customers and promptly issue refunds when promised.
