    Cumin Lamb with Rice, 05JUL25

Great authentic Szechwan food! Good service! I stopped by this place and ordered the Cumin Lamb with rice and it did not disappoint. The meat was fresh, tender, velvety, and aromatic with cilantro, red pepper, and onion. The spice had a nice savory kick that you would expect from Szechwan food, but not overwhelming. The ambiance was down-to-earth and no-nonsense--ideal for a great place to savor some authentic eats done right! You can't go wrong by eating here. Much recommended! Check it out.

Szechuan kitchen has a lot of great options on their menu so choose wisely! The servers were very patient with us as well as I could not make up my mind on what I wanted.

This is probably the best Chinese restaurant in the Covina area. I have family that lives in the Chino Hills area and we all unanimously agree this is the place for mapo tofu, toothpick lamb, and a ton of other Chinese staples. We came here for Christmas Day lunch and I could not be more impressed. The staff speaks both mandarin and Cantonese. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have authentic Chinese food in the Covina area

SK has become one of my favorite spots to order lunch. The food is made to order and is always oh so fresh. As you wait for your order you can hear the chef work their magic by the sound of sizzling pans and quick movements paired with the aroma of garlic and all sorts of goodness!! This is a commotion you want to be a part of! The lunch specials are reasonable and very tasty allowing you to sample several dishes. The food is delicious and the owners are friendly. #ShopLocal. #ILoveMom&Pops

Very authentic. They don't use msg (but used chicken essence). Flavor is right on, everyone in my large party loved all the dishes, whether it's there first time or regular repeat customer.

Food was really tasty. A little spicy for me but spiciness can be reduced if requested. All the dishes we had pictured were delicious. Surprisingly the cucumber dish was probably one of my favorites. Service was great. Portions sizes huge. Good parking and ample seating (atleast when we went). Highly recommend!

Szechwan Kitchen is a very good Chinese restaurant in the Covina Area. I wish it was closer to where I live and I would definitely visit more often. You can either order to go or dine in. If you order to go from the app, you get 10% off. You can order dine in from the app, but you don't get 10% off. This is one of the places where you come for the food and not for the service. A lot of the utensil and napkins are on a table in the center where people can pick up to-go orders. So if you need something along the lines of utensil, you can grab it there. They don't really check on you to see if you need anything . When I came here and wanted water, they sold me a bottle of water. It's not complementary in a cup with ice or anything like that. Literally will sell you a bottle of water. So if you don't mind buying over priced water, go ahead. You can bring your own water as well. I think the best dish I had here was the Kung Pao Chicken. It was really flavorful, tender, and I enjoy it when they cook with the peppers and onions. Not a fan of just chicken and chili. It pairs great with a bowl of rice (that you have to pay extra for). Rice isn't free, but it comes pretty tall, like one bowl of rice is stacked up high so it's like two giant scoops of rice in one bowl. The restroom here is pretty dirty. Like dark and dimly lit and dirty. Parking for this place isn't too bad, there are a few spots in the front of the restroom and there is a shared parking lot. Overall, good food, no service.

I was actually very surprised on the meal I got for lunch. I really was expecting an "American" version of Chinese food but was surprised to see that the meal was an authentic cuisine from southern China. My pork belly dish was sauteed vegetables which included onions and bell peppers with savory chili oil tossed over the plate. The $10.99 lunch special came with the entree, white rice, soup and an egg roll. I will definitely come back again!

this food tastes a little delicious. What's not good is that it's a little dry. But I still recommend that you can taste it.

For being in a food hall in Glendora, this was a pretty good bowl of bbh. It has rich umami broth though it could have stood for more vermicelli noodles. I was most surprised by the amount of beef tendon. In fact, I asked for a side of fish sauce to dip the tendon lol. On my second visit, I built my own phở bowl ($17.48). You get a choice of 3 meats, so I chose wagyu steak, wagyu eye round, and brisket. I thought the meat quality was great. The broth, on the other hand, was having an off night I think. It had a very strong star anise flavor and the broth could have use a little skimming. And Broth offers a variety of interesting phở variations that I'd like to try. I like that there are so many different Vietnamese dishes umbrella-ed under one establishment. I'll definitely be back.

Namu Kitchen has been on my bookmarks for some time but I was putting it off because I was afraid the portions and quality wouldn't measure up to their prices but I was sooooo wrong. Their breakfast plates are absolutely ginormous and my friends admitted they're usually picky eaters but ate pretty much most/all things on their plates. I decided to go with the bulgogi sandwich based on our waiter's recommendation and it was amazing! So flavorful and the bread was great too. Their salad dressing was tangy and sweet. The brioche toast with homemade jam and ricotta was also better than I was anticipating. The main star for me was the chicken karaage. The pieces were huge but still so juicy inside.. and the batter was light yet very crispy. Paired well with their house garlic aioli. Only thing we all agreed was a miss was the mango cloud coconut matcha unfortunately :( didn't find it to have much flavor. Definitely interested in trying their hojicha or earl grey lattes next though! Parking is relatively packed in this lot, but I'm sure you can find a spot if you circle enough times. We ordered their breakfast plate and jang-jorim burrito. I was pleasantly surprised by how large their portions were - the pictures on Yelp don't represent the size as well. We split the jang-jorim burrito and we could barely eat any of the breakfast plate as a result, so we took most of it home. Quality-wise, everything is super fresh and high-quality, nothing felt overly salty or oily. I liked that every plate comes with something extra and that it leans on the healthier side, whether it's salad or fruit. I also had one of their specialty lattes and it was so good. The flavors blended really well without being too sweet. I definitely look forward to coming here in the future for when we're looking for a healthier meal out.
