- Ambience 4/5 Ambience is very nice and comfy, has some nice decorations around. The dim lighting and seating make it a good place to eat, although i would say that some of the utensils could be replaced. Many of them seem very worn through! - Service 5/5 Service is pretty quick, although it is a weekday. Our waitress was nice, delivered our food quickly, aswell as the staff, which were friendly. - Food 4.5/5 Note: unlimited noodles for pho orders! Number 11. Pho tai: 4/5 The pho broth is very light and flavorful. They give a good portion of noodles, meat, and broth. I think the lightness of the broth is good, as many other places have it very heavy and a bit saltier. Id recommend with any pho, that you should add some cu hanh (green onion in a oil base) and some sate for your sauce! Thai Tea: 5/5 Its your classic Thai tea! I think rhats it perfectly made, and its sweetness isn't too bad. A good sweet drink to have after your done! Overall, I'd give it a 4.5/5 I'd come here again with some friends or famy. Its a very nice local vietnamese pho eats place, really brings that authentic experience and food. Really reminds me of similar family owned restaurants back in Nevada. ( 4.5, rounded up to 5)
This place was fantastic! It hit the spot and the pho really was delicious. We loved the garlic noodles with the steak! It was all so filling and rather flavorful. We got chicken in our summer rolls which was great. The staff were quick and friendly! Overall it's a larger restaurant with lots of seating. Definitely will be back.
This place my go spot for when I'm craving pho in this area and OC is just too far. It's a solid pho place and scratches that itch. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. Inside, there's plenty of seating too and I've never had to wait. I've never had any issues with the staff and service is typically quick and responsive. There's unlimited noodles refills, which is nice if you love noodles like me. Also, check in for free Thai tea, limited to one per party though.
We've seen Pho Anvi numerous times on Yelp over the last couple of months and finally decided to give it a try. It's in an older strip mall near the Colony apartments so it's a little easy to miss. We arrived around 7pm and were seated right away. The staff handed us our menus and she gave us about 5 minutes before she came back to get our orders. My fiancee and I both got the Pho Dac Biet. The broth is actually pretty good for a lighter flavor profile, but probably one of the better broths of the 5ish pho places we've tried in the area. The proteins were a good portion and had a pretty decent texture to them. The pho noodles were slightly over cooked, but it wasn't too bad. This place provides unlimited thin noodles if you dine in with a pho order. Obviously, I had to give it a try to see if they stick by it and to see what comes out. I'm delighted to say they actually did provide them in a bowl with some broth. We wanted to try the nem nuong cuon, but they were out of stock. Oh well, maybe on a future visit. In any case, the overall experience was pretty good. I'd recommend this place if you are in the area and want a pho fix.
Pho Anvi is great. Their pho is pretty decent tasting. They have the option for you to get unlimited extra noodles when you dine in. The noodles come on the side in a small bowl with some broth. They noodles are a bit hard, so you need warm soup to cook the noodles a little bit. I also got the northern egg rolls. They were tasty with the veggies and the fish sauce. The egg rolls came out so fast. Not sure how. We ordered and they came out 2-3 min later. Service is mediocre. Not amazing, but also not the worst.
Food was temperature hot and delicious. Service was as exceptional. It was not busy. The ambiance is very calm and soothing. It was not rushed.
We got the pho with rare steak, brisket, and flank, as well as a couple of the special pho. The broth was really deep and flavorful. The different varieties of beef were really tender. Bonus is that they give you unlimited free thin noodles with your bowl of pho so you would definitely not leave hungry. Parking lot was big, so no issues, and plenty of seating available inside. We didn't need to wait on a weeknight. Definitely a great spot for some good pho in the area! Great service as well.

The Oxtail Pho is incredible--the broth is rich and comforting, and the oxtail is fall-off-the-bone tender every single time. The Grilled Pork Chop Platter is another regular favorite of ours: juicy, flavorful, perfectly marinated, and served with a fresh salad, rice, and fish sauce. Great food, solid portions, and quick, friendly service. We'll definitely keep coming back!

It's consistently good, which is something we truly value. The staff here is also very attentive and welcoming. Service is smooth and efficient, and you always feel well taken care of without being rushed. The ambiance is simple but just right. It actually reminds us of some of the restaurants we've been to in Hanoi--unpretentious, focused on the food, and comfortable in the best way. Overall, Pho Anvi is an excellent place for quality pho and a reliable dining experience. Definitely worth trying, and a spot we'll continue coming back to again and again.
Delicious northern style pho! This pho emphasizes a stronger soup and you don't need to add a bunch of sauce to it to make it flavorful. The northern rolls were delightfully crispy, deep fried rice paper rolls with shrimp and veggies inside. The rib pho was delicious with very tender rib meat and plenty of noodles and soup!
Food is great! Kids love coming here the drinks are great too! Service is fast too and the vibes are cool too! Service is quick!

Pho Anvi has quickly become one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The pho broth is rich, clean, and full of flavor without being overly salty. The meat is fresh and tender, and the portions are generous. I also loved the crispy egg rolls and fresh spring rolls--they were the perfect appetizers. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Service is fast, even during busy hours, making it a great spot for both lunch and dinner. We had such a great experience at this restaurant! We came on a Wednesday afternoon, so it wasn't crowded at all, and they easily accommodated our group of seven--no issues at all bringing in my double-decker stroller. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. I can already tell this place is going to be a hit! I tried the #26, the filet mignon with fresh ginger toppings. I had the meat served on the side so I could cook it to my preferred doneness--rare to medium-rare--in the soup broth, and it was absolutely delicious! The spring rolls with shrimp were so fresh and flavorful--yum! And the calamari? Big yes from me! Even the Soda Chanh, the Vietnamese sparkling water with lime, was amazing--made fresh with no fake syrups. This place definitely lives up to its reputation. Can't wait to come back! read more

Tried Pho Anvi and honestly it was really good. The place is clean and chill, nothing fancy but super comfortable. The pho is the star--broth is super flavorful without being too heavy, and you can tell it's made right. Noodles were on point and the portions were solid. Meat was tender and not skimpy either. Everything tasted really fresh, especially the herbs on the side. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints there. Definitely a solid go-to spot if you're in the area and craving pho. Hidden Gem!! The interior is super lively with lots of art and tables. When dining in, you can eat unlimited pho noodles. They come in small bowls/servings of pho. The only thing is that the noodles can be stuck together, probably because the noodles are prepared early than served. There's a surprising amount of places to get pho in West Covina and my mom and I decided to try Pho Anvi out to add to our bingo list. It's been in the community for some time and I believe decades ago it was a different pho place that my family and I went to as well. It's located in a plaza down the street from the West Covina Mall. Good amount of parking and around lunch time on a Thursday, it wasn't too busy. We were seated right away. My mom immediately started ordering some thing that wasn't pre-made on the menu but that they had the meats for but did so in Vietnamese where the waiter had to summon his more experienced coworker to assist with. I guess he forgot to transfer over our drink order since we had to add it in after when we paid. My mom got I believe a combo of medium rare eye round steak and well done brisket. I got their Pho Anvi, the namesake of the restaurant, which came in a larger metal bowl and had julienne slices of ginger and filet mignon with fresh noodles. The noodles were thicker for my pho than what my mom ordered. I'm not the biggest fan of the thicker noodles, but it was alright. Meat was a bit tougher than what I would have liked and both of us agreed that our broth didn't have that rich, umami flavor like other pho places. It's as if the broth didn't have enough time to simmer and boil. We got our ca phe sua da (Viet milk coffee) and taro smoothie, both were really, really sweet. They can also accommodate large groups of people and have plenty of seating. The service is what is expected considering the volume of customers they have.
