I was introduced to this place from a friend. I have been looking for decent pho around the area and I finally found it. Prices are decent, and the staff is quite nice. Place didn't seem as big from the outside, but it goes quite deep! I was able to try to Bun Vermicelli, the Pho Steak, and the Bun Bo Hui. I have got to say the broth here for both the Pho and the Bun Bo Hui was quite flavorful. There was no pork feet inside the Bun Bo, as I have seen from other restaurants, but that was good for me as I usually ask for it not to be included. Great to have finally been able to try this place, and will def stop by if I am looking for Pho while visiting this area. Can't wait to try some of their other dishes. This place def hits when you are craving a fresh vermicelli and pho bowl ! The ingredients are fresh and the broth is tasty. My boyfriend was cute and ordered a big bowl of pho and told the servers that he's fat LOL and the servers just looked at him and smiled so nice and politely. They have plenty of space inside too for a family party and booths on the side. We had to ask for our check a couple of times and also for the drink menu on a night that it wasn't super busy. Their interaction is minimal; however, staff efficiently guided me to a seat. A friendly male staff member had eventually noticed me, and he took my order. I ordered the #17 Pho Dac Biet ($14.99). The food arrived in eight minutes and four seconds. As alluded to, I happily enjoyed my #17 Pho Dac Biet ($14.99). This pho is unique. I felt myself blink in shock as its meat fell apart in my mouth. These felt like fresh cuts from a good Korean BBQ. Next, its noodles arrived hot, hefty, & springy. And its broth tasted light, clean, and gentle. I felt my happiness surge exponentially with each bite. "IT'S SO DELICIOUS!" I'd scream! Regarding ambiance, 626 Pho (Baldwin Park) is clean, spacious, and well-ventilated. There were many shiny tables. Customers wore very casual clothing (one even wore pajamas), and many dine-in customers appeared to be locals. 626 Pho (Baldwin Park) had two flat screen TVs. One played the news on mute (with no english captions or subtitles) which was unhelpful. Another played music but it had intermittent commercial ads. This location favors functionality; it's not upscale. If I had to nitpick, its mirror even had a somewhat eery smudgy look. Regardless, the location is clean and welcoming. Overall, 626 Pho (Baldwin Park) is one of my top pho locations in SGV. Its unassuming and almost generic appearance makes its fresh & high-quality pho that more bewildering. Brought my family here to try pho for the first time! I've had pho before but this was my first time at this restaurant. I chose this place since it is located across the street from us so it was convenient. We (party of 6) showed up about 20min before closing time, we were welcomed and sat down right away. Although it was soon closing time, not once did we feel rushed or pressured. The staff was very attentive and helpful when it came to ordering our food and drinks which was very nice of them. I'm on the search for my favorite pho place in the 626! We came around 6PM on a Saturday night. There were about 5 groups dining it, not busy at all and we got to choose where we sat. The service was quick and efficient. We ordered and received our food within 5 minutes of ordering. Bf got pho #21 with rare steak and brisket, and I got #22 with rare steak and beef balls. The soup is moderately rich and savory, not overly oily. Clean and hot broth. Noodles are slightly thinner than I prefer and were also clumped together when we first got our food. I prefer mine a little on the al dente or less cooked side as well. However, the food hit the pho craving I had, especially on a cold windy night. Overall, a very solid bowl of pho but not the best I've ever had for my personal taste. I probably wouldn't make the drive to come here, but I could see myself coming if I were in the area! Was on the road and decided to give this place a try. It looked like it opened recently. There was only one other customer when we arrived on a Friday night at 8pm for dinner. We ordered the spring rolls, #17 house special pho, and a #22 rare rib eye steak with beef meatballs. The broth was amazing.....very flavorful, clean and on the sweeter side which I loved. The spring rolls were just ok. They only offered it with shrimp and it looked like beef brisket meat so it was rather dry and bland. The sauce helped a lot but I prefer the charbroiled pork. Found this place on Yelp while I was waiting to finish up at Kaiser and I was pleasantly surprised! I placed a phone order for a broken rice dish with grilled pork, bun bo hue, and bun thit nuong. The lady on the phone was a little slow on the phone, I was thinking because English isn't her first language or because they were relatively new and just wanted to make sure the numbered orders I was giving was matching on their menus. She gave me a time of 15 minutes for the food to be ready. By the time I got to the restaurant, food was ready to go. From the feel of the containers the food were really hot so I knew they were hot and ready from the kitchen. Restaurant didn't look very busy for 1pm on a Wednesday. It was very clean and quiet. If I were dining in, I would feel very comfortable. My drive home was still about 20 minutes, but by the time I got home, I ate the bun thit nuong for lunch. The egg rolls were still crispy after the ride home. The pork was tender and flavorful. You can really taste the lemongrass. Veggies were fresh to give it the bite that makes this dish overall refreshing. I really enjoyed it. My husband also really liked his broken rice dish. He actually ate that for dinner since he was working in the office and just wanted me to order something for him for later. He told me he could not wait to get to dine in at the restaurant since he ate his Togo food so much later and it was still very good. The bun bo hue was also good, not as spicy as some other places I've had it; but I still enjoyed it. No pork blood in theirs though. Veggies provided looked very clean and fresh as well. All in all, we really liked the food we got Togo and we can't wait to have a chance to dine in to get the food at its peak freshness.
