Been here on several occasions. Great hole in the wall to give you some solid Thai food. Usually come in weekdays to avoid the crowd. Service is great, the staff is very welcoming and inviting. Big menu so haven't tried all of it but the staples are great. Papaya salad, larb, pad Thai, and pad see ewe was great.

I recently tried the Pad Thai here, and it was just okay. It wasn't bad by any means, but it felt pretty generic and didn't really stand out compared to other places I've been. The flavors were mild, and I didn't taste anything particularly unique or memorable about the dish. The portion size was decent, and everything seemed fresh, but I was hoping for a bit more depth and character in the flavor. Overall, it's an average option if you're in the area, but not something I'd specifically come back for if I'm craving a really standout Pad Thai. I did however try my boyfriend's garlic pepper chicken dish and I did enjoy that better than my pad Thai to the point he served me some on a separate plate. Staff is nice and welcoming!

Nice place. Was recommended by staff where I was working for the week. Fast service. I enjoyed what I ordered. I had yellow curry chicken (medium heat) and fried gyoza. Now, every place does heat differently and this place. . . boy a medium really had my nose running. . . cleaning out the sinuses..

Great local Thai food, what else can I say. Prices are reasonable and competitive with other restaurants in the area, portion sizes are large, and everything tastes very fresh. They don't charge extra for side sauces like a lot of places do which is probably my biggest peeve so I'm really happy about that! The pad thai is so flavorful and the pad see ew has that "wok" taste to it that's so good. The papaya salad is SPICY so if you can't take the heat make sure you tell them. This is a go to place for weeknight take out dinner. Only complaint is the parking lot is a pain, it's always absolutely packed and hard to get a spot. Obviously not the restaurant's fault so I'm not rating lower, just a heads up for others.

Just had dinner here with my bestie. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The small restaurant is very clean and as we walked in we smelled the fragrant aroma of stir fried meats and curry. Smelled amazingly. I meant to take pictures of the food before we ate it....it was so good. -I loved the beef pad see ew, beef was tender and noodles were soft and flavorful. -Thai sausage was new to me and it tastes good, similar taste to the Vietnamese grilled pork sausage. -fried calamari was super crunchy, I just wished the tempura they used was seasoned. -chicken yellow curry was delicious, my friend couldn't stop eating it. I also ordered a mango sticky rice to go. Overall, it's a good spot for some Thai food.

I ordered to pick up orchid pork Thai rice, orange chicken, yellow curry and wontons. The orange chicken was dry and did not appear to be recently cooked (even though it was Saturday and before noon. The orchid rice was good, not great. The yellow curry was very tasty and fresh but I asked for mild and it was pretty spicy. Not much chicken in it. I probably will not be back considering it cost $60 .

A family-owned Thai restaurant near West Covina gave us a little surprise! They close at 9:30pm, which is great for me after shop. Everything we ordered was decent, but the Panang curry was definitely the highlight. The flavor was rich and delicious, and it paired perfectly with steamed rice. The staff were very nice and welcoming. One small suggestion would be to clean the floor more often when tables are cleared, as it would make the dining area feel even more comfortable. Overall, a pleasant Thai spot and a nice surprise in the area.

Green papaya salad and spicy basil eggplant w/ tofu

I ordered the papaya salad and basil eggplant w/ tofu. The papaya salad is delicious. I love the flavor of the dressing. It's tangy and sweet and a little spicy (you can adjust the spice level). The spicy basil eggplant is also delicious

Service is quick. We were seated upon arrival and once we ordered, the food started to come out in minutes. Staff are sweet and they came to check on us several times. All of the food had very nice flavor and the spice levels were perfect for us. We enjoyed our dinner and would come again.

We've been coming to Orchid Thai for a while now and it always hits the spot. Their panang curry is unique and one of our go to's because of the peanut twist. Customer service is always great leaving a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

It's always my go-to, and I keep coming back just for it. That being said, I have to be honest about the pasta. Every time I've tried it, it's been pretty bland and didn't have much flavor. I wish it had a little more seasoning because it has potential. Overall, the chicken Caesar sandwich is absolutely to die for, and I definitely recommend giving it a try!

The place looked run-down, the TVs weren't even set up, and there was a trash can sitting outside in the middle of the dining area. The person who greeted us was friendly, but other than that, nobody else was there. We ordered two chicken fettuccine Alfredo dishes, and one had broccoli added. For the broccoli upcharge, I got four pieces. That's definitely not worth paying extra for. We didn't order drinks, appetizers, or sides. The fettuccine itself was just okay--it lacked flavor. The "garlic bread" was the biggest surprise: two Hawaiian rolls with garlic butter. Seriously... what is that? Each pasta was listed at $17.95, yet my total came to $48, and the math just wasn't adding up. I wasn't given an itemized receipt, which made it even more frustrating. After noticing my reaction, they brought us a salad with lettuce that looked brown and a small side of pasta. I'm guessing it was their way of making up for it, but that doesn't justify charging me without being transparent. To make matters worse, the bathroom was dirty, which is always a major red flag. My friend really wanted to try the restaurant, so I just let it go and paid. Looking back, I shouldn't have. Moral of the story: If your gut tells you something feels off, trust it and walk away. Don't stay just to be polite--it's your hard-earned money. This experience taught me that from now on, if something doesn't feel right, I won't hesitate to leave, no matter who I'm with or where I am. Transparency is everything to me. If you're not honest with your customers or you overcharge people, you've already earned 1 star in my book. I can GUARANTEE this is my first and last time her, I'm surprised I didn't get food poisoning.

Then my next thought was oh nooo...why drenched in so much sauces...like I m aware that banana foster means sauce over the waffles. I just didn't think it would be that much sauces. Severely overrated, omg. Wife and I came in for a sandwich…read moreand boy was this place underwhelming. First red flag we noticed is that they use Lavazza machines for their coffee drinks. Lavazza might as well be the sugary gimmicks Starbucks can pull off on their best days. You're paying for the name, not the quality of your drinks. Next red flag was the counters behind the 'baristas.' They were stocked with buckets of sugary ingredients like some store bought cookie butter stacked on top of some other store bought 'dubai' butter. That seemed a bit unsanitary and, frankly, kinda sloppy. Last red flag were the sad, sauce-soaked paninis we got. In fact, they were probably the worst paninis we've ever had. Our chicken chipotle avocado panini was drenched in what clearly tasted like store-bought chipotle sauce and the chicken just tasted like reheated chopped breasts (I mean I wouldn't blame them, they're a cafe, not a kitchen.) The mango habanero panini was even worse in that it was more drenched in what also tasted like store-bought habanero sauce, making the panini a dripping mess. But the choice of using what tasted like candied dried mango slices in the sandwich was awful. The flavors just did not marry and it's likely because this is what happens when you have a great idea, but use crap and cheap ingredients to craft something. Maybe they are better known for some other dishes, but the fact that they use store-bought sauces on their sandwiches is pretty tacky. Overall, this place is all hype and no heart. Just a steady flow of clout-chasing customers akin to those that frequent Starbucks as part of a lifestyle. Don't fall for the hype. It's okay to not like something that the masses do.
