Flavors were strong and did not leave any type of saltiness in my mouth. Tried out these two items. Grilled Beef & Egg Roll Combo - This was pretty good. Simple dish but the protein were really good. Beef had a nice flavor and not chewy. Egg rolls surprisingly was good and the fillings were solid. (4.5/5) Oxtail Pho - Really enjoyed this dish and the broth was very flavorful. I have visited this place a few times now and it's been for the Banh Mi sandwiches. The bread is nice n crispy. The protein has great flavor plenty of veggies in between the bread as well. So yummy! This was a bit of a drive but I think it was worth it! The soup base itself is amazing. The portions were pretty good as well. It looked small at first because of the big bowl but it was pretty filling and they give a good amount of meats The peach green tea was also very good! Sat down and ordered the House Special Pho and it was solid, everything you want in pho.. good broth, good meats, with bean sprouts, jalenpenos, and mint leaves on the side. They also had a good amount of hoison and sriracha ready for the pho. Even though I didn't get any, they do offer boba as well. Service is okay. Regular pho spot nothing to run home about, unless you got a weak stomach then yeah run home. The servers were so kind and I loved them so much. The food was great too, but the incident I had today made me unfortunately never come here again. I took my 5 year old to eat and this man came up to my daughter completely ignoring me, told her "you're so beautiful and little, what's your name?" Shook her hand then proceeded to rub a box he was holding and asked her "do you have a boyfriend?" I cut him off told him she's 5 that's inappropriate. He just laughed and went to the back. Turned out he's one of the cooks. I wouldn't take any minors here, I did ask to speak to management, they texted her, called her twice and no answer. I left my number and still haven't received a call. This incident isn't to take lightly so the fact that I haven't received a call yet is upsetting me even more. So glad they opened up a Pho spot close by home. It was their grand opening month and let me tell you, service and friendly was was on point. Broth was fragrant and beefy! Really clean, beefy, yummy, broth. Would definitely order this again. Ordered the spring rolls for app and it was delicious, tightly wrapped, beautiful crunch from the veggies, good and healthy. I know a lot of other restaurants put that crispy shrimp stick in their rolls for that extra crunch, that would make it so much better. Ordered the pork chop rice plate, this was decent, I think it was lacking that char you expect from com tam pork chop dishes. But it was decent. I wish they offered more topping for the plate combinations, but I also understand this is a Pho focused restaurant. 4 stars This place is still in its grand opening phase since it just opened 22 days ago. Since my family and I were in the area, we decided to give this place a try. At first glance, the menu is pretty limited to rice, pho, and vermicelli. We ordered a Pho Tai, Vermicelli w/ charbroiled pork & eggrolls, and 3 plates of rice w/ charbroiled pork & eggrolls. I thought everything was a decent 3.9/5 stars. The pork was a bit too salty for me, but the eggrolls were perfect. The pho's broth was a little sweet, but still very tasty. The vermicelli noodles didn't taste like the brand I prefer, but it was still edible and all the veggies looked fresh. Also, the rice plates came with jasmine rice, not broken rice, which might be a dealbreaker for some. Bonus points for recognizable hoisin & hot sauce brands. The service was ok. I think they should have given the correct orders to the correct people. We told them which dishes go to which person, but they were still passed out incorrectly. Instead, we had to pass the plates around to ensure everyone had the correct order. This is obviously grand opening kinks they should try to untangle. Otherwise, interior was neat, clean, and modern-looking. It was also crowded during lunch rush. I wouldn't recommend for big groups more than 6 people since the place is pretty small. At the end of the meal, my aunt realized that the uncle who owned the restaurant was a former classmate of hers...which means we will probably be back to support this wonderful mom-n-pop Vietnamese restaurant! We read on BP news that this place was shut down for vermin infestation. When they opened again my wife and i figured we'd give it a shot since we liked their spring rolls prior to closure. I ordered the oxtail pho and it was bland. I was expecting the meat to be tender and with at least a bit of flavor but instead it was tough, and flavorless. Then there's the strand of hair. From the looks of it might be armpit hair. I saw that and immediately lost my appetite andI barely started eating. I informed the server and another server came back to give us our bill and said they can give us a 10% discount, if that's ok? I mean, you fed me hair, you tell me. I owned my own boba business, I know how customer service works. If any customers complained about our drinks let alone something that unhygienic we'd comp the whole bill. I mean, that's disgusting. Not looking to get a free meal, I can pay and I did pay but the point is, it's terrible customer service to offer 10% off for something like that. I don't know how they got an A after that vermin infestation closure but I think health inspection should come by this place more often. UPDATE: Response to the owner's response. We ordered 2 soups. The wagyu and the oxtail bowl. My wife consumed the wagyu bowl, and I barely touched my bowl. Check the cameras and see how much food was left on the oxtail bowl where the hair was found. I came here on Labor Day with my family and it's easily our new favorite local pho place. The people here are the sweetest! This restaurant is run by a family that really care about customer satisfaction. I was asked a few times if everything was to my liking and if I had any suggestion since this restaurant had just opened a few days prior to my visit. Overall, service 5/5. Food: I ordered the shaken beef platter and I very much enjoyed it. The beef was perfectly cooked and cut bite sized. My favorite part of this dish was how the yummy garlicky buttery sauce was pooled on the bottom of the dish and I was able to let the rice soak into it. Absolutely delicious! I was recommended to try the red rice next time as it's supposedly more flavorful, so I look forward to trying that next time. Also, I recommend dipping the shaken beef into a mixture of lime and salt/pepper. To me, it's a game changer. My parents and aunt had the sliced steak pho & sliced steak pho + beef balls. They seemed to enjoy their pho and when asked about it, they all gave me thumbs up. So overall, I would give the food 5/5 as well. And finally the drinks: I had the strawberry lemonade and it was so refreshing! I love how they used real strawberries that you can see in your drink. And the lemonade was not overly sweet nor was it tart. It was a perfect heat quenching drink. My dad on the other hand ordered a Vietnamese coffee. While it was a decent coffee, for those who are Vietnamese coffee enthusiast, this did not have the slow drip, strong caffeinated taste. Pho: While adding garnishes to my pho, I quickly noticed that the jalapenos were dark, soft, and slimy. I tossed them immediately and rinsed everything else, hoping it would be fine. But while eating, the basil had an odd taste, so I had to pick it out. The sriacha also tasted off. I tried to look for an expiraiton date but there was none on the package. Although the broth was delicious (broth is really good!), everything else pretty much fell short and then I fell sick shortly after. Shaken Beef: It was good, but different. It has a unique luc lac flavor than I'm not used to. This dish was more vegetables than beef also, making it not worth it for the price. Overall, I think the food is okay. Consuming the food after knowing the garnishes weren't fresh wasn't a good idea, as I got sick.
