The first time I went wanted to get that also but they were out of torta bread. It was a Monday morning. I totally understand delivery wasn't there yet. We tried the Cuban sandwich on sliced sourdough. Omg delicious very flavorful, juicy shredded pork. And I got Açaí berry smoothie also great We returned today for Mother's Day. I ended up getting the beet cured salmon toast 5 perfect My cousins got the Mole enchilada torta Cafe de jolla was delicious also. Bought a pesto chicken panini for hubby to try at home came with Caesar salad Will definitely be back can't wait to try other items and the Chilaquiles torta

The sandwich-maker leaned over and told us he didn't even have a copy of our order. They eventually brought out each item one by one. It was frustrating seeing people that arrived before us, leave before us. As I'm writing this it is 11:47 and our 10 year old still hasn't received his meal. We're letting our food sit so we can eat with him They lost our order. If I never said anything, who knows how long we would be waiting HOWEVER To be impartial, the food was really good. I waited till after I ate to make this comment. It is now 12:07 Definitely a chef back there, I probably won't be back to try anything else though. Fix your output efficiency guys

The menu is…read moreextensive, the service is fast and friendly, and the entire space--inside and out--is spotless and well-kept. We grabbed a table on the patio under the umbrellas. Portions are generous and the food is outstanding. My wife ordered the Chipotle Breakfast Avocado Panini with a Raw Sugar Caramel Shaken Iced Oat Milk Latte, and I had the Steak & Egg Burrito with a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Everything was packed with flavor. We were too full to try dessert, but that just gives us an excuse to return :D This is easily my new go-to lunch spot whenever I'm in the West Covina area. Highly recommended, 5 stars!

Severely overrated, omg. Wife and I came in for a sandwich…read moreand boy was this place underwhelming. First red flag we noticed is that they use Lavazza machines for their coffee drinks. Lavazza might as well be the sugary gimmicks Starbucks can pull off on their best days. You're paying for the name, not the quality of your drinks. Next red flag was the counters behind the 'baristas.' They were stocked with buckets of sugary ingredients like some store bought cookie butter stacked on top of some other store bought 'dubai' butter. That seemed a bit unsanitary and, frankly, kinda sloppy. Last red flag were the sad, sauce-soaked paninis we got. In fact, they were probably the worst paninis we've ever had. Our chicken chipotle avocado panini was drenched in what clearly tasted like store-bought chipotle sauce and the chicken just tasted like reheated chopped breasts (I mean I wouldn't blame them, they're a cafe, not a kitchen.) The mango habanero panini was even worse in that it was more drenched in what also tasted like store-bought habanero sauce, making the panini a dripping mess. But the choice of using what tasted like candied dried mango slices in the sandwich was awful. The flavors just did not marry and it's likely because this is what happens when you have a great idea, but use crap and cheap ingredients to craft something. Maybe they are better known for some other dishes, but the fact that they use store-bought sauces on their sandwiches is pretty tacky. Overall, this place is all hype and no heart. Just a steady flow of clout-chasing customers akin to those that frequent Starbucks as part of a lifestyle. Don't fall for the hype. It's okay to not like something that the masses do.

I just wish they had more T-shirt options because their sandwiches are so freaking good I'd wear their t-shirt' Hey. Guess what. They have more t shirt options now that are bad-ass. Can I say bad-ass? I just realized my entire review is about their merch...This time I got the curry chicken sandwich. I initially got it because curry chicken sandwiches always have a sweet element and most places do raisins or apples. Here, they did peach, and I was like, 'damn. I want to try this.' But when I bit into it, the star of the freaking show was the peppercini!! What!??! That vinegary balance with a tiny kick. Mmmm, yeah. Super good that I ate way too much in one sitting.

Sandwiches are quite large, big enough to split between 2 people if I'm being honest, but nothing I would complain about. Egg salad was great, never felt heavy despite how large it was, but I also enjoyed the Uptown Club, thickly stacked with each component but felt wholly balanced with whatever was pickled and the tomato. I did find the meatball side to be simultaneously too salty and too sweet, even though you would figure these would cancel out. I did enjoy the looseness of the actual meatball, and the crispy shallots on top were a wonderful addition. Would love to revisit, would be a perfect pit stop for any picnic or lunch occasion.
