Stopped by to grab a quick bite. Area was very clean, sufficient seating spaces, and quick service. Ordered 2, 2 item combos (one rice/ chow mein, orange chicken, and jalapeño chicken. The other chow mein, bbq pork and coconut shrimp), 4 egg rolls and 4 cream cheese wontons. All the meats were tender and very tasty. Service was fast. They do up charge 85¢ for shrimp and bbq pork. Total was about $31 for all of that and fed about 5 of us. Definitely worth the prices and a decent amount of food. Would recommend if your in the area

    Plenty to choose from

It's been a while since I've frequented Maine Express. It was nice to be reacquainted with this local spot. Service was great employees ready to serve you once you walk in. Looking for a 1,2,3 item combo this is the place. There are tables to eat inside, but not a lot. Most people do take out. This place has your regular Chinese fast food items. One that stood out was the jalapeño chicken. Don't sleep on this one. Rice and noodles were great too. Plenty of parking in this shopping center. Main Express great place to get your Chinese fast food fix on.

Three combo plate. Jalapeño chicken, kung Pao chicken and rice and noodles. Jalapeño chicken was the only good thing.

Tried this spot based off of reviews. The jalapeño chicken was amazing. 5/5 but the rest is a 1. The chicken was boiled in the other items and the rice and noodles were uncooked. The broth from the boiled chicken went into the rice and made me a fried rice soup... not very good at all. Only saving grace was that jalapeño chicken.

I was in the area and I saw Maine Express. I checked their review on Yelp and it was great, so I decided to give it a try. The place was clean. There were many customers ahead of me, but the line moved fast. Almost all the customers were there for to go order. There are indoor seating for dining  in. Their menu includes one, two or three items combo, bowl special and party trays. I ordered three items combo; bbq pork, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. I also ordered coconut shrimp and wonton. I had half chow Mein and half rice. The portion was humongous. The orange chicken was excellent followed by bbq pork. The teriyaki chicken had light teriyaki sauce but it was okay. The service was great and very fast. It's a nice place to stop by if you are in the area. It's a 4.5 stars

Came here on a whim a day before Thanksgiving. I've seen this place a few times, but never went in. Decided to grab some take out and give this place a try. Maine Express is in the same plaza as Superior Grocers and CVS. The parking lot is huge so plenty of spots to park your car. PSA bring your cash! Once you walk in, there are a variety of choices to choose from. There are 1, 2, and 3 item combos. There are individual entrees if you are interested in that instead. The combos are a choice of fried rice, chow mein or half and half of that with a choice of side(s). The service here is great where they give heaping amounts of food! Definitely a plus. Most people that come here just grab to go, but there is also the option to sit down and eat as well. It's a very quick and fast paced vibe. I was slow for my first time here. So many choices! Decided to do chow mein on 2 boxes of 2 item combos. Each box was just under 10 bucks a box. So much good food! Walnut style shrimp without the walnut was really good. Just like how they make it in restaurants. Jalapeno Chicken is like your kung pao chicken. Orange chicken is better than Panda's for sure. Teriyaki chicken is ok, before to keep the box covered or else the meat dries out a bit. You can also ask for the sauce on the side to avoid spillage on your way home. Overall this place is a keeper! Will venture here again and so should you.

A local staple with plenty of good food. Their chow mein noodles are delicious and quite savory. What recently brought me here was their specific BBQ pork which I had been craving. There's a lot around with a similar take, but this one is just right. Don't forget their egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce! Great service every time.

This is me and my family's go to spot for fast Chinese food. We have been coming here ever since we moved to BP and we absolutely love their orange chicken! It's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Prices are pretty reasonable and their portions are enough to feed two people or they could serve as two meals which is my case most of the time :)) I ordered their two item combo half fried rice and half chow mein with orange chicken and jalapeño chicken. The orange chicken exquisite like always and their jalapeño chicken has a good hint of spicy (just don't eat the jalapeño by itself if you can't handle spicy otherwise you are gonna end up in pain‍). I saw some reviews saying that their chow mein is burnt but I have never had this experience.

However, if you want to try something a little different, there are some "traditional" Kaiping specialties that I haven't seen on menus anywhere else. I've always come with my family and have received great service because my dad knows the staff. They speak my home dialect so I'm sure there's some bias there. Foodwise, I've tried quite a bit and haven't had any dishes that didn't hit the mark for me. Standouts for me are the big claypot yellow eel rice, their specialty roast goose (the 2 dishes just listed may require a preorder but again, my dad usually handles all the ordering), their beansprout with pig intestine, and their egg plant with salted fish. The claypot rice is ordered by the kilo so really is a big party dish but has nice succulent pieces of eel, really well cooked rice, and then of course the crispy rice at the bottom. The goose is very flavorful and not super gamey, it has more of a meaty texture and bite than the younger poultry an American pallette may be used to so word of warning. I really like the beansprout with pig intestine, again not really gamey but very savory with very tender, fatty pieces of intestine (highly recommend even if you're hesitant with intestine). The eggplant with salted fish is also intensely savory with a pungency from the salted fish that may seem like a lot but melds really well with the sauce and overall flavor of the dish. Though I haven't tried every dish on their menu, I've tried quite a bit and can confidently say they'll bring out some tasty Chinese dishes.

Usually beef is tough in this type of noodle dish at other places. The flavors were legit..not too sweet or salty just right! It's really hard for me to find good Asian food in Baldwin Park so I was pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon this place. Highly recommend. Our server was a Chinese lady..probably didn't speak much of English and didn't come across as friendly but to be honest that's how you know the food is going to slap when you have a waitress with the meanest RBF...so don't be alarmed just know food is going to smack! LOL It's located in a very random place but there's plenty of parking. It's pretty laid back but I would say can be good for large groups. It's not too loud or rowdy at all.

The sesame peanut noodles have been disappointing the last three times I've ordered them. They barely add any sauce anymore, so the noodles taste bland. Although these items did not taste spectacular, there's an admirable beauty with its satisfying texture and freshness. I arrived at Cr8zy Bao (West Covina) on Tuesday (around 9:15AM). This location requested 10 extra minutes to setup. After perusing its adjacent market, I returned. Cr8zy Bao (West Covina) was ready for business at 9:25AM. Staff is courteous and professional. Staff (name on receipt - Yaya) is helpful and hardworking. Yaya answered all my questions, and Yaya moved quickly. I ordered the King Steamed Meat Bao ($9.14 - 3pc) and 10 Won Bread ($5). The food was ready in 14 minutes and 54 seconds. The 10 Won Bread has three filling choices: mozzarella cheese, custard, or red bean. I selected the custard filling. The 10 Won Bread had a thin, crisp, and crunchy outer crust; its similar to a finely toasted waffle. Its inner layer is very soft and spongey. Breaking apart this toasted pastry, hot & gooey custard cream bursts forward. I enjoyed the sensation and mild-sweetness of this sticky, flowing liquid. The King Steamed Meat Bao also tasted freshly made. It avoids being dry; rather, its bun is supple, buoyant, and springy. Its filling tastes fresh and slightly savory. Its mashed meat and diced glass noodles add a pleasant bounce. Although the filling lacked any memorable taste, I appreciated how the filling wasn't salty. The King Steamed Meat Bao's filling reminded me of freshly mashed meatball. Regarding ambiance, it's nonexistent at Cr8zy Bao (West Covina). The location is a food stand in a market. Thankfully, its counters and floors are clean. Also, I felt safe since a security guard is stationed by the entrance. Fortunately, there's plenty of indoor and outdoor tables to use since it's connected to the Haven City Market. Bright, bubbly music appeared around 10AM; however, it was silent prior. Overall, Cr8zy Bao (West Covina) is a good experience. If you like baos and dumplings, this location is a solid choice.
