My family really likes the ham and meat loaf baguette (banh mi sandwich) here, so we frequently come here for takeout. The pate chaud and egg rolls are also pretty good. The pate chaud is served very hot, fresh, and crispy with good amount of filling. Service is good, the employees always give an extra butter on all of baguettes when we ask for it. There's rarely a line, so i never wait for more than a few minutes. I haven't tried any of the other items on the menu, so I can't comment on them. The establishment itself does not look very nice. It's not dirty, per se, but it also doesn't look shiny, so I imagine eating in would not be super pleasant. I always order takeout so this doesn't really affect me.

As other yelpers mentioned, Ballin' on Budget! BMC Pho is the Business. The Pho is affordable. The Bahn Mis are Buy 2 Get 1 Free on select meats. The Spring Rolls taste fresh. My twin got me addicted to this. Judging by the yelp stars I would have not gone, but it's definitely a crowd favorite for the affordability and options.

One of my go-to spots for a quick, tasty meal! I love that BMC Pho is just down the street from my hospital super convenient when we need something fast and satisfying. It's a no-frills place, but the food is consistently good. I've worked my way through most of the menu and everything has been fresh and flavorful. Their Vietnamese coffee is excellent (perfect pick-me-up on a long shift), and the buy two, get one free deal on bánh mì sandwiches is a great value. All in all, a solid neighborhood spot that never disappoints!

I am appalled to have frequented this place prior to their last health inspection visit and shortly after I find a baby roach in my vermicelli! I'm sitting here about to vomit! Health inspector needs to make a return ASAP!!!

This is a long time post I keep putting on the back burner. Shame on me. My fav place to get banh mi and pho. They have the freshest banh mi and best quality sandwiches for any BMC in the 626 area. Very underrated here. The locals know it's a great spot and prices are so reasonable. The guy that's always at the drive through is very serious but he always gives me the sauces I request and he still nice.

**Closed due to Vermin Infestation!!!** Temporarily closed. They should shut this place down. Don't eat here or any BMC PHO places if they don't even take care of the food they're serving customers. Sucks but they should have public health as a big concern. Who knows how long they've had this infestation and people getting sick and not knowing because most times it takes Public Health workers months and months to actually go to the store to survey them. Honestly I've really never researched or known GRADE C could have it this bad.

stopped by BMC Pho for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! While the building itself looks a little run-down and isn't particularly upscale, the food absolutely exceeded expectations, especially for what could be considered fast food. One of the best features is the drive-through, which made picking up my to-go order incredibly convenient. Despite being busy with many diners inside, the service was fast and efficient. The staff member working the drive-through was satisfactory in their service. My coworkers and I ordered the house pho, beef stew noodle soup, and shrimp spring rolls. Every single dish was delicious and packed with flavor. We all agreed it was an excellent choice for lunch, especially given the reasonable prices. Overall, BMC Pho delivers phenomenal food in a fast-food-style setting, making it a hidden gem for quick, tasty Vietnamese cuisine. We'll definitely be returning soon!

The most important thing is that the food is good. With that being said...this place is kinda dirty lol. The outside and inside need much needed TLC and their service is sloppy. The drinks come one size and they are filled with so much ice theres barely any drink in them no free refills. The tables and seating are left pretty dirty even when theres a busser clearing plates there isnt really any attention to cleanliness. If you are serving like you are fast food why not go all the way with fast food containers. Anyways. I think everyone knows what this place is and its food is good quality the bread for the sandwiches is freshly baked so thats great. Probably way healthier than hitting up a mcds

There's plenty to walk around in the plaza (desserts, pastries, açaí bowls) while you're waiting and even a fountain. Once seated everything moves relatively fast. The menu is extensive, food comes out quickly and fresh, and workers are attentive even though you order through a tablet and it's super busy inside. Food is stellar and of value (6 XLB for $8!), portion sizes are good, and everything is piping hot! The soup dumplings have soo much soup IMO beating out Mama Lu's which is what I would consider to be their nearest competitor. The spicy shrimp wontons are also good, but I think the flavors don't quite hit as well - big pieces of shrimp are enclosed though! The Peppered Beef Udon was great the beef pieces were tender and juicy and great textured noodles. Onion pancakes are a staple along w/cucumber salad (not pictured) , and their pan fried pot stickers are my favorite along with the sauce it comes with. Sooo crispy. Pro tip: If you are a first timer/came from far and waited a while don't let them seat you at the bar the experience is not as nice by far (I saw someone say it's like paying to stare at a wall - I concur) Being seated at a booth or table will allow you the full experience but I do understand there's only a limited amount of room in the bustling place.

I've visited twice now, and both times were disappointing. The biggest letdown was the pork chop with egg fried rice; the rice was completely unseasoned, which really ruined the dish for me. The udon was decent, but nothing memorable. The xiao long bao was also just okay, which was surprising since that's usually a standout at dumpling-focused spots. On a positive note, the staff were great, very friendly and helpful, and most spoke Cantonese, which I appreciated. Ordering is done through a QR code on your phone, which is convenient if you prefer minimal contact, though I personally still like having a server take our order. Overall, nice service but the food just didn't deliver for me.

I got the Braised Beef Noodle Soup with Wide Flat Noodle and in Medium Spicy. Everything was exactly to my tastes. Fantastic hand pulled noodles with great texture, delicious soup and their chili is actually spicy, numbing and very flavorful. They are heavy handed with the spice, I'd say their medium is a typical extra spicy. I typically order extra spicy elsewhere but was trying to cut down on the oil a bit so got medium here and was pleasantly surprised that the level of spice was just right for me. What I liked, soup base clear, had hints of Sand Ginger, Umami Bone Broth, hints of cinnamon, heavy parsley/ cilantro, fennel, star anise, black cardamom, white peppercorns, mmmm, I can taste the broth even now, 2 days after that meal, very distinct, and when paired with their in-house chilli oil, not the one on the table, the actual spicy one they exclusively keep inside the kitchen, you can taste the additional layers to the chilli oil and it just brings the entire LanZhou Noodles to a whole another level. The lamb Rou Jia Mou was really filling. I liked the quantity, not overtly big, not too greasy, and had just the right amount of protein to keep the dish an appetizer, as you await the main course. Pickedled Sweet Kimchi Cabbage was also very enjoyable, although I prefer the in house ones made at Yumi Time in City of Industry better crispiness to the bite in their version and more balanced taste. A solid four, because I'm biased. Having worked with two extremely talented masters in Phoenix Arizona, I've tasted what could be the best LanZhou Noodles and Best Xiao Long Bao any seasoned restaurant staff could ask for. My former colleague Hand Pulled Noodle Master chef Shuai used to head the reknown LanZhou Noodles place in Gaithersburg Maryland serving up all those Ambassadors, Lobbyists, DC Politicians, and when we were in Phoenix Arizona, along with Pastry / Flour Dim Sum Master Chef Sister Ying, we concocted probably the best Xiao Long Bao / Rou Jia Mou and LanZhou Hand Pulled Noodles to ever grace the lands of Arizona and in my opinion, was far superior than any other place in Los Angeles. But again that's just me. I'm biased and I've been blessed to sit down, and have worked with some of the best small kitchen crews and experience great staff meals. And this leads to me to my conclusion: Yes, I'm putting this restaurant officially on my #2 for Chinese Noodle Soups in LA. This place will from now on be in my casual rotation. A no frills, real, down to Earth Noodle Shop. Why I like it? Just the overall setting doesn't try too much. On the surface it looks really plain, boring, not much to expect. But once you try it, it just suddenly makes sense, this can be your go-to Pho shop but for LanZhou Noodles and certain types of Cumin Lamb Chow Mein. #1 Corner Beef Noodle House in El Monte #2 Lan Noodle in West Covina
