    Chili Cheese Fries
    Susan L.

What I ate - Chili cheese fries: Fries were just ok, pretty limp and soggy by the time I got home. The chili was flavorful but not the absolute best I've ever had - Onion rings: These were outrageously good. Super crispy and well battered. One order was very generous, enough for 2-3 people I think Pros: - Menu was small but had a nice mix of things - Staff was super friendly - Onion rings were yummy! - Price was right Cons: - Parking in front of the restaurant was pretty annoying. The spots were tight, and right in front of one of the parking lot entrances, so there were lots of cars trying to get in and out of the lot. This made it difficult to get out of the lot - While there were a handful of tables, it seemed like the majority of people were getting their meals for takeout Would I come again? Probably not as I'm not that close

Recently had the chance to try this place and I can see why they're so highly rated on yelp. I didn't expet their menu to be small, but that was better for a person like me who gets overwhelmed by too many options. I ordered their West Coast Cheesesteak with the chipotle cheese - no mushrooms and jalapenos. Although that took away like half the ingredients that typically go with the sandwich, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. The amount of the ingredients were perfect as I could taste everything with each bite. On top of their sandwich, I also got to try their chili cheese fries with the chipotle cheese and their chili tater tots with poblano cheese. After the initial bite of the fries, it reminded me of Weinerschnitzel. Now I'm not sure if that's offensive or not, but I was fine with it either way. The tots with the poblano on the other hand wasn't quite doing it well for me. I'm pretty sure it was the cheese sauce that kind of ruined it for me, but I'm sure if it was the chipotle or the cheddar, I would have liked it a lot more.

West Coast Cheesesteaks came to mind when someone said their cheesesteaks were yummy and delicious. My two favorite words when it comes to food LOL. So what happens next? I start heading over here that's what... They are located in the Lone Hill Shopping Center in the City of Glendora. Please note they are on the Foothill Blvd side facing west and not on the Lone Hill Ave side. They are between Starbucks and Pho Rib. Free parking is plenty at the center. It's not a very big restaurant. Both inside and outside seatings are present. No public restrooms. Upon entry, there was only one customer ahead of me. Wait was not long at all. Joshua was very friendly and informative on their menu items. Service was impeccable. Since I don't eat beef anymore, my only other option was chicken or veggie (thank you for these options!). I got the West Coast Cheesesteak with chicken plus provolone cheese. OMG... it was amazingly yummy and delicious! SO SO GOOD! Flavor was on point. Love the slight kick of spice. Lots of chicken. Portion was huge. Joshua was kind to give me a small sample of each of their housemade cheese sauces... cheddar, poblano, and chipotle. Thank you Joshua! They were all so good. I should have gotten my cheesesteak with their cheese sauce instead... for sure next time. I love mango! And I love icee! When I saw Mango Icee, my eyes lit up... one please LOL. Too bad it was just okay. I was really hoping to like it, but I didn't get much mango flavor unfortunately. I am so glad I got to try their amazing chicken cheesesteak. Highly recommend this place 110%! I'm already planning my next visit to get more chicken and veggie cheesesteaks with cheddar, poblano, and chipotle cheese sauces plus tater tots and onion rings. You know it. See you here!

Steak WCC with onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, and provolone

Wow, these cheesesteak sandwiches are the best I've had. It's all you can ever ask for, simple but great flavor and packed with meat. I get the steak west coast cheese steak with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers and provolone. The meat is tender and juicy with savory goodness. The large is a perfect size to eat half and save the other half for later. The bread they use is amazing, it's both soft but has a good bite to it. Upon reheating it the next day, the sandwich tasted just as good and the bread wasn't soggy at all. My husband doesn't like mushrooms so their classic cheesesteak sandwich hits the spot for him too. I love their cheesy tots as well and it's nice that they wait until you physically arrive to the restaurant to add the sauce. I love a place that values preserving the crispiness of tater tots! Ordering from their website is easy and they make the food within 10-15 minutes.

I came here for the hype... and I wish it lived up to it. This spot fell short on multiple fronts. The largest and most important one was the flavor profile of the meat. I really wanted to like it. I got the 'Classic' Cheesesteak... bread was good, I will admit the cheese sauce was great. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to carry the flavorless beef. Service was great and helpful. Vibe had an authenticity that felt promising. Yet... the meal was dismal at best. I would not go back based on the sandwich I had.

It's quite apropos that there's a small set of steps in front of West Coast Cheesesteaks. Why?! -Because the cheesesteaks are good enough to transport you directly to America's former capital city, Philadelphia; -And, after you've two-fisted your way through this decadent, toothsome and rib-sticking sandwich, you'll wanna make like ROCKY BALBOA and do a celebratory sprint up those very same stairs! Your favorite Yelp correspondent loves a well made cheesesteak, has enjoyed authentic ones from both Pat's King of Steaks and Geno's in the City of Brotherly Love plus every west coast -no pun intended!- variant of the same. Philly's Best, Charley's Cheesesteaks and the Bronx Deli. And several others. I'm here to proclaim (loudly!) that West Coast Cheesesteaks makes the very best Philly style cheesesteak...that I've ever enjoyed on, well, the West Coast. I ordered the West Coast Special, size large. It features the obligatory razor-thin slices of certified angus beef, onions, mushrooms, peppers, jalapeños and your choice of several cheeses (provolone, cheddar, poblano and chipotle). I'm a purist, so I selected provolone for mine. The bread is undoubtedly like a good woman- Strong and sturdy enough to cradle its copious fillings, yet soft enough to engender affection. Lovingly dusted with cornmeal, which creates a wonderful final textural note for your mouth. The taste had me grinning like a banshee at my good fortune. Owner/Chefs Michael and Jessica have clearly done their homework. The ratio of steak to onions to peppers/shrooms seems mathematically precise and extremely well balanced. Ditto with the melted provolone. Can't tellya how many pretend hoagies I've had where the portions are outtve balance and you wind up with an overpriced cheese or mushroom-forward sando. Size-wise? You'll get your hard-earned money's worth. These are not the slightly thin, fluted hoagies churned out by Philly's Best nor will they try to be cute and hide the (pricier) meat under a blanket of cheese and onions (looking at you, Charley's!). West Coast Cheesesteaks are bona fide TWO-FISTERS! Lovingly crammed to its depths with unctuous layers of equal flavors that actually complement each other. The service I experienced during my visit was exemplary. The young man (no visible name tag but dark haired with a sleight frame) who took my order was very nice. He repeated my order back to me for accuracy and even graciously offered me a water cup during my brief (less than 5 mins) wait. Today's meal cost $19.27, incl taxes and tip. In closing, I'll say that I wanna pinch myself. I mean, your correspondent here has in the past been known to risk missing a connecting flight during a layover at PHL (Philadelphia Airport) to hire a cabby to drive me the ten miles to Pat's King of Steaks then WAIT FOR MY ORDER! So devoted I was that I just hadta have one, trip potentially damned! (Eagle-eyed Yelpers: This preceded 9/11 and the subsequent airport security changes governing reentry, etc). So to learn I can now recreate the divine, uniquely Philly experience of enjoying WELL MADE cheesesteaks without flying to Pennsylvania? And it's only eight or so miles from my Diamond Bar home??! Quick! Where are those steps?! I'm ready to sprint up 'em, arms propelled skyward in triumph.

    Tee W.

I really, really like this place! The guys working there seemed to get along well with each other and the cheesesteaks are filling! My cheesesteak was made to order fairly quickly and it was delicious! It was very close to the cheesesteaks I've had in Philly, PA! I also decided to add tots with it and they gave me so many I barely made a dent in them. The place isn't very big, but there are seats inside and out to dine. I also like that horchata is a beverage option.

They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions, but that's a downer. Let's go with this instead: the road to heaven is paved with sandwiches from West Coast Cheesesteaks. That feels better. I'm not sure why you'd walk on them instead of eat them, but let's not stretch the metaphor any further. These cheesesteaks are the best of both worlds--classic enough to keep the purists happy, but with fun twists for adventurous eaters. (Poblano cheese sauce? Chipotle?Yes, please.) The rolls are perfectly balanced--soft yet sturdy--and the portions are just right. This is a very tasty cheesesteak. Customer service was on point too. Why are you still reading this? The place already has great reviews. People drive to Glendora for these, for heaven's sake. Go get one. And if you're eating one right now, well... you already know. Also, wipe the cheese sauce off your phone, you animal.

My first time here. Heard about it sometime ago and have been wanting to come. I am an East Coast person so I'll be honest, I'm a little bit of a snob when it comes to cheesesteaks and pizza. I ordered the cheesesteak which came with mushrooms, peppers, and onions, but opted out of the jalapeños. It came with one cheese, but I wanted 2 because you must have a wiz like cheese and white American on your cheesesteaks. I also ordered the tots with cheese. The place is really good. The food was delicious. The sandwich was piping hot, the tots were crispy, crunchy and loaded with cheese sauce. The only tick to take away from five stars was the cost. It was quite expensive to order one sandwich and cheese tots and a drink. The total for my meal was almost $28. $10 of that was the cheesy tots, which is ridiculous. But I ordered them. Service was OK. When I walked in there was one guy standing near the counter. He looked at me and turned around and walked away, didn't say anything. And then a young lady came up and asked if I was ready to order. I told her it was my first time here and I was excited to try it, and there was really no emotion from her. She told me they'd call my name when it was ready, I was the only person in there. So I sat and waited and it took about 1015 minutes for them to prepare the order. I would like to recommend that all employees wear hairnets because they're handling food.

    Expensive but good.

When I saw Yelp's top 100 places to eat 2025 I had to try this place! I've had cheese steaks all over the country, including Geno's and Pat's in Philadelphia so I have some cheesesteak bona fides!! The Angus beef had great flavor and I liked that they mix the cheese in with the beef. Some places put in slices, which makes no sense to me. The roll was correct for this type of sandwich. Very good overall and great for Southern California. The onion rings were good, like most they needed salt, but the onions were fully cooked so they were sweet not raw at all. This is how I like them. Crinkle cut fries were good too. As far as the ambience, think Domino's Pizza if they had tables inside, about the same size. Service was good. Value is so so. Sandwich itself is $16 so two combo meals pushed us over $50!! if you're at a restaurant or something like that, it would be worth it but not for basically takeout.

So deserving of this Yelp Top Place to Eat in SGV! That ranking led me to this place to see what it's all about and if it lives up to the hype. I ordered THE "West Coast Cheesesteak" with Chipotle cheese. Topped generously with grilled onions, bell peppers, mushrooms and jalapeños. $11.95 A "small" is advertised at 6"-7" which is plenty enough contrary to popular belief. I didn't need the footlong. $10.95 Chili cheese fries with cheddar sauce. You can choose from crafted cheese sauces: cheddar, poblano, and chipotle or sliced provolone or white American. I sort of wanted to try all of them at once. Small interior, and a little bit of outdoor seating, too. Nice and knowledgeable staff. Everyone seemed pumped about the ICEE machine here, too. For the price and the portions, this meal can feed two. I was impressed at the flavor, messiness, and size of the portions. I didn't beat the lunch time rush on a weekend, but the wait wasn't too long at all. There's plenty of parking in this plaza.

The West Coast Cheesesteak ($16.50 - Large) tastes luxurious. If served at a private VIP football stadium suite, it fits right in. It's a phenomenal, cheesy item. The West Coast Cheesesteak is a unique, satisfying experience. With my very first bite, I sighed happily from the soft, thick, fresh artisan bread. Its texture gave the perfect bounce. Then, the cheese explosion happened. I soothingly melted away as the taste from the specialty cheddar cheese sauce flooded me. I embraced the rising, gentle burning heat from its many jalapeños. And I welcomed the taste of fresh mushrooms within this large, heavy cheesesteak. Ironically, the thinly cut meat (although generous) had mostly faded in the background. The meat was primarily enhanced from all the surrounding ingredients. It's a harmonious, messy meal. I arrived on Saturday (about 11AM - opening time). I observed several customers rushing behind me. I also noticed the phone beginning to ring. The cashier is helpful and cordial. Customers are also able to customize the order. I got the default West Coast Cheesesteak which includes grilled onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and jalapeños. The food arrived in four minutes and 30 seconds. [Tip: If you do not like spicy food, please ask for no jalapeños. The default west coast cheesesteak is spicy.] The ambiance is not the best. I appreciated the quiet Elvis Presley songs that played from the speaker. However, the location is very cramped. The interior includes three crusty reflective tables; the outside holds an additional three tiny tables. The floor is clean; the location is well-ventilated; but the location is too tight for a comfortable dine-in. However, if you dine-in, put the finished tray on the trashcan before leaving. Overall, West Coast Cheesesteaks (Glendora) is delicious. The food is fresh; the large portion is a superb value; and the meal is delicious and memorable. I am so happy the hype is real. West Coast Cheesesteaks' accomplishment of reaching "Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat across the country" is well earned. "DELICIOUS!!!"

Its a pretty good cheese steak. Its not better than the ones i had in Philly, but it had a really good flavor. For a "large", I thought it would be a bit bigger. The onion rings are $7 but they give you a decent amount, and they are really good. I'd go again if in the area, but I wouldn't say its a must try

I also got the Firebird sandwich, and WOW. As a savory girl, this one really hit the spot. The amount of buffalo sauce, pickles, and Dijon mustard was perfect - flavorful and bold without being overbearing. The portion size was great too. It was filling, I could easily save half for later. For drinks, I ordered their seasonal iced cherry pie latte, and I'm honestly still thinking about it. So Fresh & Delicious!…read more I tried C&R Fresh Foods for the first time a week ago. I did some research on Yelp to see the menu and recommended options. I was craving a wrap so why not come give em a try. The parking lot has plenty of spaces as it located on the long strip mall in this part of West Covina. The location is pretty chill and quiet outside of the TV playing soccer. The staff who took my order was friendly and allowed me to try sample some smoothies. The freshness of the veggies and the crunch from the bacon was perfect. One specific detail I'd have to mention was the cream cheese they use in the wrap. It elevated that wrap it to a new level and brought out all the flavors. I'd return again just for this item. Good customer overall with great food. Come by and try out C & R Fresh Foods! ( ^_^)b

The owner gave us a bunch of free samples to try which I found to be all delicious. I ended up getting a Strawberry Banana Orange smoothie and it was so good! You can taste that they use fresh fruit to make their smoothies. My family also got the Blueberry Banana smoothie. This one was also surprisingly delicious and a bit unique as it had a slight nutty flavor to it. I think the drinks here are made better than Jamba Juice or Robeks. And you'd be supporting a small shop! Overall, this spot is great and the owner is really cool! He was super amiable, and you could tell how much he cares about his business. I'll definitely come back for their smoothies and to try their food items!

I had the 1/2 smoked/roasted chicken and my wife ordered the fish tacos. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the breast meat tender and juicy. The barbecue sauce they use is perfect for the dish. The beans were smoky and slightly spicy, a nice accompaniment for the chicken. My wife's fish tacos- white fish deep fried- was also very good. Almost a tempura type light batter and prep. We both ended up taking about 1/2 our dinners home as leftovers. I'm glad we remembered Frisella's. We will be going back soon.

We stood around by the front for a few minutes while 1 guy was running around inside tending to a few tables. We opted to sit inside by the windows however there were TONS of flies swarming around the windows. They have those purple fly lights so I think it attracted them more then get rid of them, so we sat outside instead since it was nice out. The food was okay, nothing too special. Portions are good but I felt like items lacked a little flavor/seasoning. I'd come back to try the brunch menu/Happy Hour though.
