It's located in the same shopping center as El Super off Indian Hill, right across the street from Taco Bell. ​The Experience & Food: ​Atmosphere: Clean and super welcoming! Everyone working there was friendly. It was a bit busy, so it was a little loud inside, but the energetic vibe was nice. ​Spring Rolls: We started with 4 spring rolls. They cut them in half for easy sharing, and the peanut sauce is absolutely phenomenal. ​Mains: I ordered the pork Banh Mi and my daughter got the Hu Tieu. Both dishes were delicious! The portions are huge--neither of us could finish, so we were happy to take home leftovers for later. Definitely left with happy bellies! ​Drinks: We both got Vietnamese coffees. They were super strong--even after asking for a bit extra milk to lighten them up! If you love a serious caffeine kick, you'll love these. ​Overall: Our bill came out to around $58 total, which was well worth it given how much quality food we got. So far, the best pho I have eaten in socal! I had their Pho Dac Biet and was blown away by the flavor of the broth. It was super rich tasty beefy goodness and had those beautiful fat jewels on top. And it was filled to the TOP of the bowl. The brisket and steak were also sliced very thin and just melts in your mouth. Everything is so tender and perfectly cut, didn't have to gnaw through any connective chewy meat. Also a huge plus having tripe and meatballs because not everyone likes tendon. My favorite part was how piping hot it was served. I threw in a huge plate of bean sprouts and basil and the soup was still very warm when finishing up. The noodles were also surprisingly perfect still even after sitting in the hot broth. If you have jury duty nearby, definitely recommend taking a walk to try this place out. I didn't like that they also fried the egg roll once it was cut up and would rather they just cut up the normal egg roll leaving the inside non-fried. But it was still tasty and definitely worth $16. Originally was just gonna get take out but when we walked in the place was so inviting we just had to sit down and eat. Very tasty pho and fresh herbs to go along with it. The broth was fragrant, unique and had a little sweetness to it. The egg rolls were very authentic and longer than in size than other pho places, which I liked. The restaurant is a no frills place in the central part of Pomona near the Fox Theater Pomona. There was an event at the theater that evening, so parking was hard to find. Luckily, if you go a few blocks down near the Pomona Holy Church, there was street parking. First time here...I could see the interior is very clean and spacious. I was seated promptly and given a menu, lots to choose from and from watch saw from the other patrons Pho seems to be the "go to" at this restaurant. I had the (Chicken Pho) Pho Ga and was pleasantly surprised. Their broth is clean, clear, and flavorful. The chicken was shredded but not rubbery as they can sometimes get. My daughter frequents this spot due to it being considerably close to her school. Everytime she comes in with her friends she receives attitude from the employee behind the counter. He's unresponsive and very impolite. After receiving her order and thanking the worker, she got no response and was stared down until she left the restaurant. Not sure if it's a racial thing or just poor service. All I know is that this is a frequent issue. Junior high and highschool students might not be big ticket customers but they deserve the same amount of respect as any other paying customer. everything ur looking for in a local, no frills pho place!! pho vina's located on a pretty unsuspecting corner in downtown pomona. i've passed by it a few times while walking around the area, but never felt the need to try it until today. the familiar aroma of broth compelled me to go in and i (a local passerby sat on the street corner) had no choice but to oblige. once in, the place felt pretty quiet and secluded and it took a little while for us to get the attention of someone and get seated (all good signs). we got our menus and then were promptly asked for our orders just a few minutes after, which i definitely appreciated. to reiterate, i liked the mutual understanding that we're at a pho place, naturally we're gonna order pho. it just makes things so much more efficient. this too paid off because we got our food mere minutes after!!!! at $13.95 this is some great pho, it's not the best i've ever had but it knows that and it's not trying to be. the table went silent aside from the occasional slurps of broth and clanks of silverware. our total also came out to less than $20 a person with tip!! i will absolutely be coming back again when i get the craving. read more

The food is absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and/or I come to this place 3-4 times a week. I love the beef stew but my favorite is definitely the vermicelli. They provide a great amount of noodles as well as meat. The service is amazing as well as we are regulars and the owner and workers usually remember us. They have also been so nice and friendly. My girlfriend once forgot her card on accident, and the owner let her pay later that week. We also left a very hefty tip because of that.
