I am a Pomona native and finally tried this GEM out and let me say it was THE BEST i have ever had. Came on a Sunday night and my partner and i were the only two in there, felt like we were in V.I.P.!!! I've never had a baked salmon hand roll before and it was delicious. From being skeptical of this little spot, it is now at the top of my list. I loved the small mom and pop shop and the sweet host, she made sure all of our questions were answered!

Clean and bright family owned sushi shop on Mission in Pomona. The staff is very friendly and kind. Reasonably priced combo meals with miso soup and salad. We ordered the pork katsu and the sushi combo #4 with 3 salmon sushi and 6 pcs spicy tuna roll. I appreciated the salad was mixed greens rather than iceberg lettuce, with refreshing ginger dressing. The miso soup was hot and not too salty. The sushi was very fresh, as was the wasabi. The pork katsu was a generous portion, and could've used a little more sauce. Overall a pleasant dining experience!

    Great deal

Great food and great value. Really enjoyed the crunchy rolls and my kids love the california rolls

Always great food, love coming here at least once a month minimum. Prices are always cheap, food is made fresh, and the owners are always happy to be here. Highly recommended coming here if you haven't already, the combo #3 is my favorite along with a Thai tea. 10/10

Super cute local mom and pops sushi spot! Came here for dinner one night and it was very pleasant. The whole place was super adorable. Our sever was nice and attentive. We ordered 2 of the combos to share and one of the rolls. The menu is very simple and has all the standard sushi items. The combos are great deals. We go A and B. Portion size is pretty good and the ingredients is fresh, the quality of the fish is an average cut. Easy no frills, reasonably priced meal. Parking was very easy in the adjacent lot.

We finally went in! Don't let the outside scare you away. You walk in and it's like another land. We always pass by and after the encouraging reviews on yelp we went it. Oh looked so clean, and inviting. Our server was such a graceful lovely patient lady. She even explained the food as she brought it out. Prices are not bad.i fell in love with the green mussels. My son liked his veggie egg rolls. Miso soup was good. My husband loved all the sushi he ordered. We added pork belly dish. She said it's spicy, not at all. It was perfect heat ratio. Geez so worth $18. Cooked fresh!! I would say the only thing that bothered me was they use alot of green onions on everything. But we will definitely be back, to try more items.

Was craving sushi and found this cute mom and pop place to try. Got the combo 2 ($15) which came with miso soup, salad, spicy tuna roll, salmon skin hand roll, and 3 pieces of nigiri. The roll and nigiri were fresh and had a great rice to sushi ratio. The salmon skin hand roll was my favorite! It was crunchy, flavorful, and packed with fish and other veggies. So happy to have found an affordable and delicious place for sushi near home.

A hidden gem in Pomona honestly. Come here when you are craving some family owned sushi or you just want to enjoy a nice miso soup. The stuff we had today we Spicy edamame Black sesame poppy seed salad Combination 2 (California roll, spicy Tuna, spicy crunchy tuna) Mother roll ( baked lobster with eel sauce !) Paid a little over $25, and I would pay more for the level of service I receive here. Helping local businesses that have GREAT food is always a plus right ? Slide through ! You can also order over the phone :-)

Omg how cute is this place? My fiancé and I were looking for a sushi place by my house, which is really hard to find a good one in Pomona, and found this spot. At first I wasn't so sure bcus it was located in the corner and it was dark at the time. But you should never judge a book by its cover! So glad we gave it a shot. This place looks to be owned but a family, and they are so sweet and attentive. We ordered way too much but finished it all bcus it was so yummmm!! The sushi tasted so clean and fresh. This is def #1 for Pomona.

Don't judge this book by it's cover. The food is delicious and the owners are amazing and kind. I recommend this place.

    Caterpillar Roll

Food Quality: Mothers Roll: Honestly was surprised about the quality! The sushi here tasted very fresh and it came out so warm that the food just melts in my mouth. Theres no need for soy sauce too as the flavors are already so popped out. The sauce added on the roll was so good I kept wanted more after I finished everything (5/5) Caterpillar Roll: The roll here was also very fresh and blended in well with the soy sauce included! I preferred the Mothers Roll over this, but both are still good options! (5/5) Service: Service was amazing! It's ran by a mom and pop so they are basically doing all of the work. The time for both of our orders was within 15 minutes so not too long! We were checked up upon and also the mom was very sweet to us during our lunch here. (5/5) Ambiance: Inside gives you this comforting and cozy vibe, almost like you're at home eating. They have little cute decorations around and lights that fits the mood perfectly. (5/5) Value: So worth it considering how cheap many of these rolls are, but the quality was amazing and everything was fresh. I would consider going here again for a quick lunch grab! (5/5) Location: Location can definitely seem off putting as this is a hole in a wall type of restaurant. It looks a bit small and hidden, but don't let the outside deter you from trying! Parking was small but good too since it wasn't busy at all. (3/5)

Parking is okay but there are some days you will need to drive around for a bit. Usually, there is at least a 30-45 minute wait to be seated, but we lucked out this chilly Monday night. Still crowded though! The restaurant is quaint. Nothing spectacular but clean. Seating is not too close to others. The service has been consistently good to very good. Friendly and quick. If you do need additional items, you will need to waive someone down. The food comes out hot and fresh! Seafood tofu: Sizzling hot. Great flavor. Nice amount of umami and spice. Filled with tofu. Wish there were a bit more seafood. At least clams. Galbi: Excellent balance of flavor! Not drenched in sauce and very tender. Would be great if the bed of onions were cooked a bit more! Great condiment with the rice. Japchae: Was a lil overcooked but tastes great. Wished there was more meat. Bibmibap is always a winner. Great texture and fresh tasting. Sauce has a perfect amount of kick and mixture of spice and sweet. Spicy cold noodle odke. Huge! Fresh veggies and the buckwheat noodles were cooked perfectly! Condiments and rice were spot on! So happy we came back.

I noticed that the service has become absolutely terrible; the staff didn't even bother to bring out basic essentials like bowls or napkins, making it feel like the restaurant has pivoted to a self-serve model without actually telling anyone. I was also disappointed to see that the menu has changed significantly, and I found the portion sizes to be much smaller than they used to be despite the prices staying high. I'm not sure if the ownership changed recently or what happened behind the scenes, but I can definitely say the quality and experience have gone really downhill since the changes took effect. It's a shame because this used to be a favorite of mine, but after this visit, I'm not sure I'll be returning.
