    Bento box

The sushi was fantastic! I was very pleasantly surprised and delighted to find such yummy sushi at a ramen place. The beef in the bento box wasn't the best flavor, kinda bland. The gyoza and miso soup were very tasty. The salad dressing was fantastic! The only reason this was not a 5 star rating is because the bento box beef and the fried items in the bento box lacked some flavor. We will definitely be back to try new dishes!

Lunch special sushi combo, an excellent way to get variety in for a great value! I've not seen another sushi place that offers this kind of variety, and I love having variety!!

I was in the area yesterday to pick my daughter up from Cal Poly Pomona for spring break. Before we headed home we decided to stop by Koji Ramen for lunch. Between the three of us we ordered three bowls of ramen and one order of spicy tuna roll. The spicy tuna was amazing. The tuna tasted fresh and the spice was right on point. So many places claim to have a spicy tuna roll that ends up not being spicy at all. Not true at Koji! The spicy tuna roll was perfectly spicy. We all loved our ramen as well. This place isn't fancy by any means. You order at a counter and they bring your food to your table, but it's just right for what it is. After yesterday's meal, I have a feeling this will become a regular stop for us. PS. If you go to Kojo, make sure to look at the feet on the chairs. I promise you will be amused.

Good sushi....Good service....some shady characters around the perimeter of the area. Just be aware of your surroundings. I definitely enjoyed the bento box.

Delicious ramen, the pork was smoky and tender it melted like butter in my mouth. The broth was smooth and delicious. The vegetables were very rich and you can taste all the flavor with each bite. The noodles to broth portion was great just enough to make you feel full. Great customer service, the sushi was great and the lunch special is so rewarding with the 4 pc sushi with ramen order. 100% coming back to eat.

I came on a Wednesday for lunch around 12 PM and it was not crowded at all. It's a small restaurant where you place and pay for your order up front and they'll bring the food to your table. There were a lot of parking spots available as the restaurant is located in a plaza. The service we received was great, the girl who helped us out was quick to bring out our orders and any condiments that we asked for. - Spicy Koji Ramen (5/5): The broth was super yummy and rich in flavor. Usually when I order ramen, I finish all the contents inside and leave some broth but when I was done with this one, there was not a single drop left. The broth was the STAR of the dish. - Jumbo Shrimp Roll (4.9/5): This roll was pretty good. I liked the big crunchy shrimp tempura in the center. The crab on top got a little bit messy but otherwise, also very tasty. - Alaska roll (5/5): First of all, the salmon was nice and fresh, so A+ so far. I loved how they added drops of lemon juice on top, killing any unwanted bacteria, but at the same time giving the sushi extra flavor. This restaurant is very close to the Cal Poly Pomona campus so it's perfect for a quick bite in between classes. I will be back in the future!

First time there. Wife had black yasai ramen soup which was really good. Wife was so into it. My son & I had 3 sushi rolls that wer delicious. I was craving a chxn bowl (don't know why), but it was so delicious. Teriyaki sauce was one of the best sauces I had & I loved the ginger dressing that was on my salad. It just hit the spot. Our to go place was j& j ramen but lately they've been off point. Don't know if they changed owners, not the same anymore. Only bad thing for me is they don't serve beer. Waitress said there working on the liquor license. I CAN WAIT.

Probably one of the best ramen I've ever had. Went to this place because it was near Cal Poly Pomona and I needed to kill time and it was so worth. The service was very good and the tablets they have on the side bar let you call the server and request the check which is convenient. The inside was very nicely decorated. Super fire spot for ramen and they have a lunch specials and promotions that could save you up to 20%.

This the first time going to Koji Ramen. It's near Cal Poly Pomona. You have to order at the front and they bring the food out to you. We ordered a California roll and each of us had a Chicken Teriyaki bowl with rice and it included salad in the bowl. My friend ordered tap water which was free and I ordered a Coke Zero. The food quality and the service was good, but I was still hungry when I left. Skimpy portions. Snack not a meal Ugh Can't they give u a separate bowl for the salad ? Not a good value Ugh

After picking up my eldest daughter from college, we came to Koji Ramen to get dinner for her. I had already eaten so nothing for me. I just needed to use the ladies room. They do have one restroom for women and one restroom for men. Thank you! We walked in to order for to-go. Not too busy at the time. Good space with interior seating. Lady who took our order was pleasant and nice. It didn't take too long for our order to be ready. Btw, they don't have water cups to-go... I asked. We got the salmon sashimi bowl. My daughter loved it. I did eat one piece of salmon... btw, it's my favorite fish. It was really good. Ginger was good, too. We would come back here another time to try out their ramen bowls and other sushi items. Thanks Koji Ramen for being here near Cal Poly Pomona for the college students!

Stopped by on Saturday, 07/27/24 for the first time. Dined in for lunch and ordered the following: - 1 Butter Corn Ramen = $14.99 - 1 Black Yasai Ramen = $15.99 - 1 Salmon Teriyaki Bowl = $13.99 SUBTOTAL $44.97 TAX = $4.61 TOTAL = $49.58 Wait time was minimal. Not a lot of customers so it was nice to basically have the entire place to ourselves. You order up front first then choose where you would like to sit after. Towards the end I also ordered: - 1 Green Tea Ice Cream = $4.97 (yum!) This location is near the Cal Poly Pomona Campus. 5/5!

We came here after a long day of travel and we're not disappointed. It wasn't too busy inside and we got served pretty quickly. The ramen itself hit the spot after a long day and tasted delicious. The broth was the standout, as it was a nice creamy texture and extremely flavorful. Overall, we loved this place so much and can't wait to come back again!

Get this. The Koji ramen, yeah the thing that names this restaurant, get it. Being a ramen shop, you can tell that their pork broth has been simmering for hours and has a well-rounded cohesive flavor from all the meat and bones stewing. You get bits of pork when you're drinking the broth and that's a very good sign that its a well made bowl of ramen. Now pair that with the spicy seasonings, the variety of seafood (and you get a good amount), a soft-boiled egg, nappa and bean sprouts, and perfectly cooked ramen noodles, every bite is so good as you tour through the toppings you receive. Its whole and well sized mussels, scallops, and shrimps. It's similar to a Korean Jjamppong. There is a deep richness reflected in the color and viscosity of the broth. We also make it a point to get their sushi because its nice and clean and fresh! Love the little bit of lemon when we get a Rainbow Roll. All of it is good, and I like that they do not overcrowd the roll with too much rice. I don't know if it's because we come here often, but the staff always makes us feel well taken care of. They are at the ready to refill waters or accommodations. Love Koji Ramen!

The broth is the real star here. Rich, flavorful, and clearly simmered for hours, it has that perfect depth that makes you want to keep sipping long after the noodles are gone. Whether you go for tonkotsu, shoyu, or spicy miso, each one is packed with layers of flavor that feel both authentic and thoughtfully crafted. The noodles have the ideal texture--springy, chewy, and never mushy. You can tell they're made or cooked with care because they hold up beautifully in the broth without getting lost in it. The toppings are just as impressive: tender chashu pork that practically melts in your mouth, perfectly soft-boiled eggs with jammy yolks, fresh scallions, and nori that adds just the right finishing touch. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the kind of place you can go alone for a comforting meal or bring friends for a casual hangout. Service is quick and friendly, and the staff seems genuinely happy to help you customize your bowl exactly how you like it. Portion sizes are generous, and everything comes out hot and fresh. It's also surprisingly consistent--every visit tastes just as good as the last, which is rare and really appreciated. One thing to keep in mind is that the bowls don't automatically include the salted egg, so you'll have to shell out a few extra dollars if you want that classic topping. While the meal itself was a hit, the logistics of the meal were a bit more frustrating. The service was fairly lackluster and felt mostly absent; we waited quite a while for attention, and the overall pace was very slow. It's the kind of place where you have to be proactive if you need a refill or the check. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant is a major concern. Everything felt "sticky" from the tables to the floors and the bathrooms were definitely not well-maintained. It's hard to fully enjoy a premium-priced meal when the environment feels a bit neglected. On a brighter note, the location is very convenient. Since it's tucked into a large strip mall, parking is incredibly easy and stress-free, which isn't always the case in Chino Hills. If you are a "food first" person who doesn't mind a bit of grit and slow service, the ramen is worth a try, but the management could definitely step up the cleaning
