Stopped by here on a Tuesday afternoon with a coworker after finding out nearby Season's Cafe was closed on Tuesdays and this was the next closest restaurant we'd be interested in trying. Restaurant is clean and interestingly decorated. Only one person handled the front of the restaurant, difficult to get ahold of when initially ordering and at the end when getting the check. The menu is reasonably large with the essentials of a ramen restaurant covered such as gyoza, karaage and takoyaki albeit at higher than average prices. There is also no lunch menu available like most ramen places in nearby Rowland Heights or just most sit-down restaurants in the area do. We settled on ordering the same thing which was the Tonkotsu ramen, spice level 3 on their very interesting 0-3-7 spice level. Noodles were an average quality, the slice of pork was more of a chunk but was actually one of the better ones I've had. The Tonkotsu ramen came out looking much more like a Spicy Miso ramen. Did not know if that was intentional. AIM LOWER ON THE SPICE SCALE IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING. My coworker mentioned the spices seemed more reminiscent of Indian spices than Japanese spices which made it difficult to slurp ramen without the spices hitting the back of your throat in an uncomfortable way. Overall acceptable if you're in the North Diamond Bar area and don't want to travel towards Walnut or Rowland Heights for better ramen, but this will not be on the list for work lunch options.

First time in they have different kinds of ramen mild or spicy. And they also have sushi rolls. Everything was really good. Had a very late lunch. But everything was delicious and the prices are pretty reasonable. Bon appetit everybody

The best ramen I've ever had very creamy and had a very good portion !!! It was a very nice vibe. Very good costumer service!

Basic yet good food, service, and ambiance. I was seated fast, not very busy for a Saturday night.

This spot truly exceeded my expectations and is conveniently close to home. The service was warm, attentive, and made me feel right at ease. I visited solo for a little "me time," and the cozy, dimly lit ambiance was perfectly suited for a quiet, relaxing experience. The food was not only beautifully presented but also generously portioned -- easily enough for two. I wrapped up my visit with a coffee macaron ice cream that was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be coming back soon!

As we entered it smelled like a smoking lounge and reeked of cigarette smoke. Not really a bad thing because it reminded me of the old ramen houses...very nostalgic. Although I would prefer a smoke free environment. Ordered the miso tonkatsu ramen and was pleasantly surprised. Tonkatsu miso broth was on point and had a smoky flavor from the charred Chasu. it had generous portions of bamboo, seaweed and green onions. The thin ramen noodles was cooked perfect. Ordered the tokayaki too and it was not bad not bad at all. Service was excellent.

Food was delicious! The Ramen that my son got was super spicy and he loved it! The young man that works here was so kind he brought our order to my car. I plan to return to repost the food. The ambiance is intimate and romantic. I love the decor. The food was fresh, well made. I didn't mind waiting at all for this spot I discovered on my way home. Love and will be back!

Needs to improve. The water tasted disgusting, that was probably the red flag, I think this is the worst water I have ever had at a restaurant, tasted chemically or dirty. We got the crispy rice and it was so tiny and burnt. The other rolls we got were mid, wouldn't go back, but it was the water that really sketched me out :/

Spicy tonkotsu ramen at level 3

I am glad to find out that there is a new ramen place opened in Diamond Bar. This place used to be an Indian restaurant and now it is a Japanese ramen place and serves popular dishes such as takoyaki, sushi rolls, teriyaki, gyoza, and etc. I ordered spicy tonkotsu ramen with charshu. It was very delicious and flavorful. The broth was on the richer side and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I really like the older lady who used to work here when the Indian restaurant was operating. She still works at this new ramen place and I think she works in the kitchen and comes out to make sure if the food is well served and asks if I need anything. They also serves Japanese whiskey, beers, sake, cocktails. I will certainly come back for ramen and other dishes next time.

    Ramen variety

We came to this location with very low expectations due to the reviews, but we really enjoyed the ramen here. I'm really picky with my ramen, but this was quite delicious and satisfies my ramen cravings. The perfect meal for a cold day. Prices are fair, good quality noodles and broth. Obviously not the best ramen I've had, but the service and ambience made our visit worth while. Our waitress and server was very attentive and friendly, which in my opinion is the most important part. One of us was vegan, so she ordered the red spicy vegan ramen that was perfectly creamy, spicy, and loaded with a variety of vegan toppings. As a meat lover myself, I had a little taste and it was very delicious. Would definitely come back again :)

Once I tried their sushi for the first time, they quickly became one of my favorites in OC. They fly their fish in every Friday and you can literally taste the freshness. Over the times I've visited, I've tried basically the whole menu but a couple in particular are my favorites. I always start off with the Blue crab appetizer that's wrapped with salmon on the outside and asparagus. Their sushi rolls are all solid here--I can't recommend the signature Chubby roll enough. And if you're feeling adventurous, they even have Tuna bone marrow shots which are actually such a nice palate cleanser! And, of course, the star of the show is the Chubby sashimi platter. Each piece is thiccc and melts in your mouth and even comes with sweet shrimp and uni. This spot is genuinely a 10/10, so if you haven't tried it, like I said, you're definitely missing out!
