The front of the store says July but they're NBC. They sell mostly chicken based dishes with a few fish and fried shrimp. I chose to get their two item combo with fried rice and noodles with spicy orange chicken and fried shrimp. ($10.35). The portions were large and the food was hot. The spicy orange chicken was crunchy and the batter was not too thick. It was not too sweet and the chicken was moist. The shrimp had the head and shells on still, it was fried enough so it was crunchy. The shrimp portion was a good amount and the shrimp was not too salty and had good seasoning. The fried rice was fresh and the noodles were good. Seasoned nicely and not overly salty. No soda fountain, canned soda only. The lady who took my order was nice. $5 min to use card. read more

Had not visited here in over 3 years. Service was great and worker was friendly and inviting. The server gives you a ton of food, filling the entire plate until it barely closes (with a rubber-band). The food was hot and tasty. The prepared choices are not abundant, like at larger establishments, but the selection was still acceptable. Price was very reasonable. If you're looking for the price is right for some plentiful portions, this is the place. I picked up lunch for both my wife and I and ordered the typical fair of Orange Chicken, bbq pork, Teriyaki chicken & Beef and broccoli along with the fried rice & Chow Mein wide noodles. However, when I got it all home. I found that if I didn't add my own Hoisin sauce, Honey Sesame sauce and Gyoza along with Memmi dipping and Soy sauces, the meals would have been flavorless. I like what I like, and did find the prices for the huge portions were definitely worth it but, I'll always need to season it up to make it worth eating. Huge portions! The lady was very kind and offered to cook a new batch of rice noodles since there wasn't enough because I didn't want any rice or lo mein. Typically, I wouldn't expect small restaurants like these to replenish food when it was already 6:30 pm and not much of a line. I thought it was a really nice gesture for them to make a new batch and I sat around 5-8 minutes until it was ready. I got broccoli beef and jalapeño chicken. Jalapeño chicken was on the dry side, but I did like the broccoli beef. However, I wish the beef wasn't coated in any corn starch though. Key points: rice noodles were my favorite! And they allow you 2 free containers of hot sauce...one of the choices was crunchy chili hot sauce and I can tell they made it in-house. Highly recommend! My 2 item combo was $9 and some change. We are not in Pomona often, but when we are - it's to visit Mission Tiki Drive In Movie theater and we have a tradition to find local takeout dinner before heading over. We decided to give NBC Express a try because it was 2 miles from the Drive In and the food and drink options met everyone's requests. First - the name on billboard is now July Chinese Express. So there's that. But the other yelp worthy note here is that the 'generous portions' are NO JOKE. She piled the food in like there was no tomorrow. It was quite epic... I think the whole family had their eyes slightly bugged out watching. We ordered 3 combo plates and 1 'small'... but I think she crammed 3 times the food those things were supposed to hold. The 2 side combo was like 6 bucks which is lower than other places we've been to like this. There was also a line of people behind us which made it a bit awkward because cramming the food in and having only one person manning the orders meant everyone else had to wait and watch while she finished all 4 orders... plus make our 4 yummy Mango Slushy drinks (which at $2.75 for the large... and $2 for regular - wow) was not the fastest thing to do. I would have ordered boba in them but for the sake of the patient folks behind us, decided against it. (Actually one person left the line in a huff - so there may be a bad review coming soon from that guy... we'll see.) Food flavor was good. Not the best, but good for a hot plate type place like this. And yes, if I was one of the folks waiting... i'd be wondering if there was anyone else in the back who could start helping... so there's opportunity for improving to get that 5th star! read more

Upon entering, i noticed that the place was a little busy, and there was a lot of food on the steam table....considering it was a mid day hour...in between lunch and dinner. The food looked very fresh. I like the fact that they had 2 types of chow mein....the regular one, and rice noodles. I ordered a 2 item with half/half, black pepper chicken, and jalapeño chicken. I been buying often from this restaurant since owners change . Love July she is really nice and always asking if we need anything when we have dine in. The food is the best I have had seriously love it more than Panda Express. My favorites are black pepper chicken, jalapeño chicken and swai fish those always have to be in my plate . Good food, great service, and they show you love on the portions. Real small hole in the wall and very good one. Drinks are good as well.

My ultimate favorite Chinese Food spot hands down! Amazing service and amazing food. Prices can't be beat.
