My new favorite dish is their stir-fry of string beans minced pork , it's a tinge salty by itself eating with steamed rice helps balance the flavors and lessen the sodium. We also try a new dish for us, noodles tomato eggs stir fry . Noodles were perfectly cooked . Acidic taste of tomatoes marries well with savory eggs . Service continues to be excellent during this visit as well. Dining room is clean adorned with beautiful assorted artificial flowers.

My mom and brother wanted to treat me out to lunch for my birthday. My mom also wanted to try this spot because it's new. Parking: They're located in Downtown Claremont. There's free street parking and a free parking structure. Usually during the weekends, it's harder to find a parking spot. Even during the week day, it was somewhat busy. Ambiance/Environment: They have a med/large space with plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. It's very clean inside. The floors, tables, chairs, and decor are new. Perfect for groups of any size. Service: We visited on a weekday, so it wasn't busy. We were greeted and seated immediately once we walked in. If you're ordering to-go, then you'd order from the register. If you're dining, then choose an open table. I forgot our server's name, but she was courteous. She checked on us a couple times. We were directed to scan the QR code and place our orders through the system. Throughput was also quick after ordering. Foods: 1) Dan Dan Noodles - I ordered this dish. Their version of dan dan noodles is different compared to other dan dan noodles I've had. I'm used to peanut-buttery sauce, some spice, and less pork. Their version contains a generous amount of ground pork, couple pieces of broccoli and carrots, and egg. The noodles were thick and cooked well. Idk what exactly was in the sauce, but I thought it was okay. 2) Mini Soup Bun - My mom ordered this. The soup buns came out steaming. Careful when you bite into it because the soup will spill out lol. There was pork inside. It was cooked well, and the soup was good. 3) Scallion Pancake - My brother ordered this for the table. Can't go wrong with a classic Chinese appetizer. It simply contains flour and green onions. These were delicious. 4) Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup - My brother also ordered this. It contains beef, flour, and broccoli. My brother really enjoyed this. The soup looks intimidating, but it isn't spicy at all. The noodles were also thick and cooked well. The beef slices tasted as expected. 5) Beef Roll Pancake - My mom ordered this for the table. I prefer the outside to be a bit more crispy with a golden brown finish. The filling was good though. Pricing: Prices are as expected. I wish the menu had more specific descriptions of the dishes. They have a rewards program, and if you sign up, you'll receive 10% off your first order. I also got a free tote bag! Overall, I think the food was okay and they have opportunities to improve.

Great spot with a variety of noodle and fried rice dishes. Went with two Latin friends who eat everything I introduce. We ordered fried rice, two noodle dishes, cucumber salad, and fried tofu to share. They loved everything but. . . It wasn't spicy enough! My friend even asked for chili oil but the oil tasted just like the spice on the noodle dish she added it to. I know Claremont has a variety of ethnicities, especially being a college town. If you're going to have chili oil, have a spicier one or one that doesn't taste like the dish itself. The place was nicely decorated with light colors and the lunch rush is definitely around one-ish. Opening time was perfect to enjoy a meal with friends.

Met up with my girlies to get some good grub at Noodology! The ambiance was nice, clean and bright. Very much the usual style of a modern casual chinese restaurant. Service was great! They were very attentive and was always making sure we were doing good and our water cup was filled. Loved almost everything! The Dandan had a teeny tiny kick to it which we loved! Beef noodle soup was a hit! Such a solid dish here! Our only meh was the XLB... for some reason it was sweet which wasn't our thing. But overall an enjoyable experience!

Pretty good place in Claremont Village, priced well, very comfy and good tasted great! I like that you can order with a QR code with your phone. Also the cash back program is pretty good also!

11/30/25 New noodle shop in Claremont (formerly I Like Pie) serving good noodles, XLB & dumplings, etc. *** Important to know about the QR codes, make sure you use the correct one; one for to go & one for dine in. Made the mistake of ordering for the to go so staff member came out to ensure we ordered correctly. That was nice of them. It's a new place do everything appears clean & bright. If you're eating in, you may use the QR code on the table where you're seated & once ready, it will be brought in by a server. Hubby & I ordered the beef noodle soup & fried tofu to share with friends. Our food arrived momentarily & our server cane around to ensure our dining experience was pleasant. The beef noodle soup was pretty good but not as flavorful as I had expected. We requested for chili oil & that's exactly what we received, without the chilies, bummer (it's not the same without the chilies). The fried tofu was enjoyable, crispy fried on the outside, soft & silky inside. Would have preferred it to be medium to firm tofu though. Parking is not designated, you may park on the street, unmetered or the (free) parking structure a block away. This shop is inside the structure sandwiched in between Le Pain Quotiden near the Movie theater & Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. It has indoor & patio seating, we sat at the patio. Great place to meet up with friends or family.

First time trying out this new restaurant in downtown Claremont. It had the perfect location and super convenient as it's in the town center. The ambience inside is very casual, really good for lunch breaks, family outings, and date night. We ordered so much food with my family. Taiwanese beef noodle soup, beef fried rice, Dan Dan noodles, beef stir fry, and string beans! The portions were decent sized, we had so much leftovers. The soup dumplings were my favorite, it was very juicy! Food came out pretty quickly as well. Service was great, we were greeted and seated right away. We ordered through a QR code, and everything was really efficient.

Xiao long bao - I never seen it comes with odd numbers for Xiao long bao. The meat seasoning wasn't enough and the dough was thick for Xiao long bao. Also, I could taste the flour. Beef intestine noodle soup - salty. Noodles were salty. I'm guessing they cook with salt water. Intestine were braiaed but didn't clean well because you can smell the intestine and it's quite strong. It was also salty from the braising the intestine with soy sauce. Soup was also salty. Taiwanese beef noodle soup - this was the only dish that i approved. Everything was good except I never seen beef noodle soup use broccoli. Usually is bac choy. Meats were tender. Spicy wonton - flavor was okay. They should have have a little green onion and cilantro to bring out more flavor. Pork wonton itself like od seasoning. Service was average.

We decided to try out a new restaurant at Claremont's downtown. Noodology is a chain restaurant specializing in Chinese / Taiwanese inspired noodles and dishes. It is a modern eatery, with bright and clean store front and a few outside seating as well. Service is warm and welcoming. So we decided to order original beef noodle soup and tomato beef noodle soup, plus diced kind of pickled cucumber with vinegar and chili oil. The original beef noodle is slightly spicy, but just right. Noodles are al dente and good. Beef is tender and flavorful. The tomato based beef noodle soup is slightly more sweet and savory. Good for lunch and quick bite.

Noodology - A Delicious Surprise in Claremont Village Square Robin and I headed over to the Claremont Village Square (west of Indian Hill and North of First Street) with visions of gazpacho dancing in our heads, ready to settle in at Le Pain Quotidien. But as luck would have it, their kitchen was backed up for about 30 minutes. So, we wandered, looked around the plaza, and noticed a brand-new addition - Noodology, which had literally just opened the day before. We walked in and were immediately greeted with warmth and seated right away. As we skimmed the menu, we mentioned to our server that we were thinking about the mini soup buns (xiaolongbao). Without missing a beat, she smiled and said she'd get those started first since they take time - a tiny detail that already felt thoughtful and appreciated. We also ordered the scallion pancake and lemonade. The lemonade was bubbly, lightly sparkling and refreshing without being overly sweet. Now, this was our first scallion pancake experience. (We've heard Food Network hosts talk about them for years.) And wow -- crispy, golden edges with a soft, beautifully layered center. Lightly oniony, comforting, and even better when dipped in the sauce that came with the soup buns. And those mini soup buns, yum. Delicate, thin wrappers holding seasoned pork and a warm, savory broth that somehow tastes like comfort, craft, and joy all at once. The black vinegar and ginger dipping sauce added just the right zing. We savored every bite. The space itself is clean, bright, and welcoming -- modern without trying too hard. Service was attentive and friendly, and they have a lovely outdoor patio that's dog-friendly. Next time we are taking Hank. Final takeaway: We will definitely be back - the menu is extensive and calling our names. If you're in or near Claremont Village, I highly recommend stopping by and giving Noodology a try. New restaurant excitement + thoughtful dishes + warm service = a very happy dining discovery.

Awesome service! I used to visit here when it was 'I like pie'. It has now transformed into noodology. Inside or outside seating area. Perfect weather to enjoy the last morning of November. Visiting with a group of friends we enjoyed their noodle soup dishes, fried tofu, shrimp har gow and spicy wontons. Everything was quite tasty and enjoyable then we added some extra spice and it was perfect. Really wonderful first experience. It maybe be a little challenging to order at your table. You'll need to open the menu on ur phone, sign up, order/pay. If you're not as tech savvy I'd suggest asking staff to assist or use Kiosk inside to order. All the staff interactions were very helpful, friendly and our cups were never empty. Wonderful first experience. Price was decent. Apps, sides & entrees range from $7.99-17.99 drinks about $5.50 sodas $1.99

11/30/25 Noodology Claremont, CA... Came here with a small group of 5 friends. Had a good time here. I shared an order of shrimp dumplings with the table. Others shared tofu and another kind of spicy Dumpling. My main order was the spicy braised beef noodle soup. Another shared some Taiwanese spicy beef with me. All was delicious! Great for sharing foods during the holidays!!! Service here was really good as we sat outside and they kept checking on us. Really clean inside and outside and in a great area of downtown Claremont. I will be back with someone else soon!!!

Pan fried pork dumplings are to DIE for. For some reason i didn't get any noodles even though the place is called "Noodolody". I study "foodology" not here to discriminate lol. Anyways the service was also good. I appreciated the waiter asking me if i wanted more water instead of me having to go pee a thousand times after eating. So yeah i would give it a solid 8/10 cause i still have more to try! (also i LOVED the cucumber salad)

We were seated quickly and taken back by how vibrant the interior was. We decided to order multiple plates and share so we ordered Dumpling Soup, Grilled Swai, Chicken Katsu Curry, and Garlic Noodles. Everything was so delicious but the Garlic Noodles were the star of the show for me. They weren't dry or oily, it was the perfect texture. They even brought us chili oil. We ended up getting Milky Buns for dessert which tasted like warm beignets. The prices also weren't bad at all for the amounts that we got. We also utilized the lunch special and happy hour so our portions were a bit smaller. Amazing service with friendly staff. Love this place and can't wait to be back.

6pm, Friday, September 19, 2025…read more It was hopping in downtown Claremont. My date had a certain place in mind though... House of Pong Asian Fusion. It was my first visit here but it won't be my last. I had already did my browsing of what's on the menu. I joined in on the crispy tofu for the appetizer and the crispy salmon skin salad. When we walked in it was busy. The Dodger game was on at the bar. There were maybe three open tables at most. We were seated at their small table against the wall. A cozy table for two. We were greeted by our friendly server, she brought the menus and ask us about drinks to start. I've water all around, haha. She came back with our water. Ooh, tasted like cucumber water... Refreshing. While my lady was deciding, I ordered: crispy tofu appetizer (presented in a small dish, about 10-12 pieces of hot, crispy cubes of golden tofu with a dipping sauce) and the salmon skin salad for my entree. The salad was an ample sized serving to share between the two of us. The salmon skin was julienned and were crispy little clumps like miniature fishy hash browns. Very crispy and tasty salad that included sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and scallions on mixed greens. My date ordered the charshu ramen. We shared our plates. The ramen was very tasty. The noodles had a good chew, not over cooked. Mmm, that was delicious. The robotic server was kitchy and cute. Maybe it does assist them with delivering plates to the table but the human server was observed transferring them from the bot to the table. For our table, we had our food delivered in stages not at the same time. The crispy tofu arrived first, then the ramen, and several minutes later came the salmon skin salad. Not a deal breaker but noticed. Food was good. Service was okay, could be better.
