Came for Father's Day breakfast. Surprised how quick we were sat but then again it's two of us. The restaurant is decorated cute and server was nice. Took a while to get our food. Not sure if cause they were busy or just takes a while to get served. Overall food was delish. Had cafe de olla which was good and worth trying. Enjoy!

Really wanted to love this place. We came pretty early so we got seated right away. We ordered a regular omelette and the divorciados. My husbands food was hot and fresh but mine was lukewarm at best. Nothing on my plate was hot whatsoever. It was decent nonetheless. I did ask for my potato without sour cream but when it arrived at the table, it had sour cream. Service was good.

Juan was funny and great! Made the experience enjoyable would definitely recommend.

Juan was funny and great! Made the experience enjoyable would definitely recommend. Food came out in good time, portions were more than enough.

THE BEST MEXICAN OMELETTE in the IE! Oh my word, I tried Madres' Chilango Omelette with red sauce and oof, it was destiny that I ate it. It's everything you'd imagine and more. Stuffed with red or green chilaquiles, layered over black beans with sour cream, sprinkled panela cheese, topped with red onion and topped with cilantro. Are you on board yet? I also ordered the Chocolata Pancakes. Think chocolate pancakes garnished with strawberry slices, a scoop of chocolate ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup, and almonds. Ice cream for brunch was an edgy move and it worked! Lastly, I had a abuelita chocolate latte, yes, with THEE iconic chocolate. The latte was delicious, I was surprised I wasn't in a sugar crash afterwards. Overall, I enjoyed the cafe. The neon lights, faux foliage, and Pokémon-esque music had a cute, whimsical feeling. My Mom and I sat near the neon signs at a booth/table. Seating was comfortable and the restaurant was halfway full. Everything was peaceful and we didn't have to wait to be seated. Our host, a guy from the Riverside location was AMAZING! On the other hand our waitress, was a little dismissive of me at the beginning, however she changed her tune by the end of the visit. Note, parking is limited. This Madres location is found in an older shopping plaza with tight spaces and cramped parking slots. Plan accordingly :)

Came on a holiday Monday around 11am today and there was about a 35 minute wait, ample parking with some chairs to wait outside. Cesar was our nice server, they were very busy but he was still attentive to our needs. We ordered their regular coffee flight which had a standard four coffees of perfect size and we were able to substitute the milk for soy which we really appreciated (they also have oat, almond, lactose free I believe!). For food, we ordered the Ensenada seafood omelette and the madre's chilequiles. The omelette was packed with pieces of crab, squid, shrimp, but is quite a heavy dish in terms of the cheese sauce. Very savory but matched well the salad and the small baked potato on the side. Our potato was a little dry around the edges but not bad. We enjoyed the chilequiles a lot, it was the perfect amount of spice for us (but you can always add more), and had a beautiful portion of birria and the fried tortilla which was seasoned great and still somehow maintained a crisp to it. The consome you can pour on top was delicious. Overall a solid brunch experience with great staff during a rush hour.

My cousin and I were having a girls day and we wanted to get brunch. We wanted to try something new together and that led us to Madres Brunch. They have a Yelp waitlist available as it gets busy during peak hours. We came early enough that we didn't have to wait, but we saw the restaurant fill up quickly during our time there. To start we got some lattes while we reviewed the menu. My cousin ordered their sugar-free Hazelnut Latte ($7) and I ordered an iced Horchata Latte ($6). My cousin's hot latte was super cute with latte art. I loved that for her. I really enjoyed my horchata latte too. That was my cheat item for the weekend. While we were reviewing the menu I was amused that the Madres Light section wasn't that light at all. I just ordered the Omelette ($14) with sausage, mushrooms and spinach. For my side I opted for the salad. It also came with a piece of toast, and sadly they only have white toast. I wish they had at least wheat or some other healthier option. My cousin ordered their Chilaquiles Verdes ($17) and she loved it. It was already saying she wants to come back already. I did feel like the waiter was trying to churn us to leave as he starts to clear the table. He actually grabbed my plate before I was done and I had to stop him. Ask me with words... not your hands please. We were actually still finishing up our coffee too. Their manager, Darren, was much more positive. He came by and asked if we enjoyed our meal and welcomed us back in the future.

My favorite chilaquiles in Rancho!! I get the same thing every time with a cafe de olla on the side and it just really does something for me. The beans on the bottom are sooo good. It can get pretty crowded but honestly I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a table. Also every server we've had has been so friendly!

Churro French toast

Great food and large portions. Shared different meals on the menu, with the chilaquiles and churro french toast being my favorite. Coffee flight was great as well. We had a large party that I wasn't able to add on the Yelp waitlist, so I called two hours in advance to let them know the estimated time we wanted. This was a Friday and they did advise me that there may be a slight wait. There was no wait at all, the table was available and ready on time. Service was great and quick delivery. I definitely recommend!

Came here for St. Patrick's Day brunch and it did not disappoint.! Food was incredible service it's always amazing. Definitely felt the st. Paddy's day vibes. I've been here many times. With Yelp events. And just coming to celebrate different holiday things. And they definitely made every holiday special.!

Food: Excellent! We shared the Manhattan French toast, and then had the birria omelette, the chilonga and the Chilaquiles Rojas. My husband ordered the pistachio latte and loved it. Over all, each one of us enjoyed our meals immensely, and immediately knew why this was a hot spot. Service: The service was good. I'm happy that I noticed that there was a Yelp waitlist and did it before I left home. It was a little busier when we got there so we had to wait an extra 10 minutes, but that was certainly better than having to wait 30 minutes there on an early Sunday afternoon. Our food came in a pretty timely manner and we didn't wait an excessive time to order. Ambiance: a lil loud but definitely a nice vibe. On the outside, the decor is in pink which almost led my son to think that this could not be the spot I chose. Once inside, I liked the greenery and the murals. Parking: relatively easy. Might need to go to the back to find some but there were lots. Other: Good variety of people there telling me it's really good.

The inside was cute and the music/vibes were good. Otherwise, the service, menu, and food, were all underwhelming and I don't think I'd ever come back.

This is a fun popular place. I find that they have a creative take on Mexican food. The coffee menu is fun and there is a coffee flight. I loved my pistachio latte. We joined the waitlist on yelp and waited the estimated time offered. We had good service and food came out fast as well. I liked the murals on the wall. Beautiful murals of butterflies. I really found my pastor omelette was delicious but was a little pricey for the size. I would return to try more of the menu.

Steak Chilaquiles Verde

We ordered the steak chilaquiles and manhattan french toast. The steak was tender and flavorful and the salsa verde was perfect. The french toast was a cinnamon roll so bomb. Chill jazz music playing. Fast, attentive, and friendly service. Our server Juan made sure our meal was perfect. We look forward to coming back !

I ordered a few platters including the taco and the loaded nachos. The price is fairly generous, probably closer to what you might get at a takeout than a traditional sit down restaurant. There's actually a lot of seating available whether inside or outside. The staff was all pretty nice and welcoming as well. If I asked for anything like extra plates or utensils, they usually greeted me with a smile. As for the cuisine, it was okay. I think it is suited for a particular taste. Most of the meat we ordered was well done. Well done but not overly dry. More like a crunchy texture. That was true of the asada, carnita, and chicken. If you are used to your meat a little bit more rare or juicy, then this style may not be for you. I thought it was fine but it just depends on your taste buds. I really wanted to give the place 4-stars or even 5. The staff was good, food was fine, and prices all affordable but the place had one problem. Initially, I wanted to eat outside and enjoy some summer breeze with my family. However, there were too many flies attracted to our meal. I was not sure whether it was due to this restaurant or its neighbors. Unfortunately, the flies followed us inside during our meal as well. It may be a non-issue in the colder months but it was a noticeable nuisance during our meal.

The way it was going to be prepared was with spring mix, which I don't prefer. I asked for a spicy skinny margarita, and they were able to accommodate me for that as well! Yummy! The reason for the four stars is because the parking lot is extremely dark and sketchy looking. Unfortunately, I don't feel safe outside there. I feel like it could easily be fixed with an investment in better lighting outdoors.

The food was mediocre but preferred the "on the spot" chef selection where we could order, chilaquiles, fresh tacos, omelets, and quesadillas. The menudo seemed as if it were sitting in the warmer so long it created a dry, thick layer at the top from sitting there for who knows how long. The churros were hard, unsweetened fruits, and dry macaroni salad. The tacos, quesadillas, and chef made eggs were tasteful. The waitress was very attentive and constantly changing out of dishes. Perhaps this day was a fluke as the hostess mentioned they are usually crowded but it was pretty empty when we arrive at 12:30. The do have a pretty large TV in the room next to the bar area and a stage under. Flyers were noted stating Banda on Saturday nights. Overall, the of lack of customers may have resulted in lack of turn around with their buffet...we may try it again soon but overall 3 stars for the service and the cooked food items.
