So I been wanting to try this spot for a while now, and my gf has been craving pasta and I feel today is the perfect day . They'll also bring their focaccia bread and some vinegar and oil. It was soft and warm. The pasta is freshly made. We were told it's a 30 minute wait, but it was more like 40 minutes. Not a good option if you have a time crunch. The pasta portions are big - I took home half for a second meal. Garlic bread - crispy and warm. Nothing spectacular, but it's a nice addition to the pasta. Cajun chicken alfredo - it has a cajun kick to a creamy chicken pasta. I enjoyed it, but it was a bit salty. I really enjoyed the mafaldine pasta. The texture was just right. Spicy sausage ragu - I liked the mozzarella pearls. It goes well with the rigatoni and sauce. A regular spot for us. I love the huge door when you enter. There's not a ton of seating but we usually get it to go. It's usually pretty clean. The place is bright and the service is ok. Sometimes the workers can be a little short, but not rude by any means. They used to have the cutest oil and vinegar holders which I haven't seen the last couple times we went. I tend to get whatever mushroom dish they have but had the vodka sauce with their signature pinwheel pasta. Everything I've had has been good. My husband has tried a lot. Lasagna. Meatball sandwich. As my friend and I were both craving Italian food, we checked out this restaurant! As soon as we stepped in, it smelled soooo good! The staff were friendly and accommodating! They bring your dishes to your table for you, and are even nice enough to give free water bottles rather than tap! Date night...Been wanting to try this fresh made pasta place for a while now. Was not happy at all. Prices are too high for this type of food. The spaghetti with bolognese sauce and 3 meatballs was $25. Garlic bread $8 add pomodoro sauce $4. They gave free facasia bread, it was absolutely average , oil was ok but I didn't care for the balsamic at all. Cesar salad was below average, did not taste any anchovy flavor at all. I would given 2 stars until I bit into a price of bone or grizzle about 1/2" in diameter. Really grossed me out. One and done for us. By way of comparison, Vince's or the old spaghetti factory are way better for the price and we don't care for either of those, however they both are predictable and consistent. What an amazing day to have you pasta! We were served by the young lady behind the counter who eat us know it was national tiramisu day and we can get a free slice with our entree. We ordered the Cajun pasta, mushroom pasta, kids pinwheel butter pasta and garlic bread. It was delicious, and the kitchen reminded me of a little piece of Italy, white and clean, where you food is cooked where you see the chefs getting down over and open flame. I placed the order online which is convenient. Pictures of the food looked good. When I arrived inside, there were no customers. I walked up to the pick up/cash register area in the middle. The cashier was facing the wall (looking at her phone). I waited patiently for her to see me. The cook saw me but didn't motion the cashier or acknowledge me. I finally had to make a sound to get her attention. Her attitude was not good. Not friendly and not welcoming and definitely didn't apologize for not seeing me. I asked for my order and she said it wasn't ready yet (even though the online said it would be). I sat down and waited almost 10 more minutes. If the food was good, then maybe this could have been forgiven. But the pasta was way too greasy and lacked flavor (I ordered their Cajun Alfredo with chicken). Like so many restaurants now, portions are shrinking, prices are going up, and service is suffering. I did contact them through Instagram and they were kind enough to refund the salad and the pasta (though kept the charge for the chicken we never got). I ordered the seasonal special: summer corn ravioli in a spicy chorizo cream sauce, husband got the gnocchi in pesto with chicken. We were both really happy with our dishes. The fresh foccacia bread is so good! Only hiccup today was that when our dishes came out, mine was barely warm. Like not even lukewarm. I was really nice about it and just asked if they could throw it in a pan and refire it but the really nice girl running the register said that they couldn't take it back but would happily make me a new one. She came by and brought me a to-go container so that I could take the first dish home. She brought out a new dish 10 minutes later and it was DELISH. I saw on Yelp that they had a salmon fettuccini Alfredo and that's what I originally wanted but they didn't have it today as it was a seasonal special in the past. 9/10 would recommend. read more

Pasta was amazing and the portions are generous! I love the chewy texture that you only get from hand-kneaded dough. I got the spicy chorizo and shrimp, and the flavor was fantastic! The actual chorizo and shrimp were alright. Also really loved the focaccia that they give you. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu since it was for my birthday. It was decent. The style of service was unexpected for the quality and price of the food -- I had heard about the amazing handmade pasta here for a long time, and I was surprised to find it wasn't a seated restaurant with servers. You go up to the counter to pay upfront when you're ready to order. They do bring the food to your table. However, when I went on a Wednesday at 6:30pm, there was only one person who was both in charge of the counter and also bringing out food. Since there aren't a lot of staff, there isn't a lot of service, and the wait may be on the longer side. When we first arrived, it was relatively empty and quiet inside, but the few indoor tables filled up quickly after. Despite how busy the one server may have been, she was very nice and efficient and made sure to offer us more fresh warm focaccia and bottled waters when she came by to bring us our pasta. The place was also very well-kept and clean. I did notice that the menu items were significantly fewer than what people posted on Yelp in the past few months. Between the short staffing and menu reduction, I wonder if they are struggling financially. Regardless, the pasta was delicious and this restaurant should absolutely have our support! Upon entry, I was very surprised of its layout and setup. I thought they are a sit down restaurant with servers and all, but they aren't. They do have high tables and chairs for inside dining. There were a lot of people dining and other people waiting on their take out orders. To be honest, it was a tad snug at the ordering line which is along side the kitchen space. Their huge front glass door is the first for me. It swivels like a pinwheel. You got to come here to see it for yourself. It's neat! Almost like an attraction LOL. Its restaurant layout is long with open kitchen format. It was fascinating to watch the chefs cook and knead the flour and roll out the pasta. We ordered to-go the must get Spicy Sausage Ragu and a Fettuccine Alfredo. The price for the spicy sausage ragu was $24, but worth it. It's savory, a little sweet, perfectly seasoned, and full of exceptional flavors. SO SO SCRUMPTIOUS! I would get this dish every time. My mouth is watering right now. As for the fettuccine alfredo, my daughter said it was just okay. It was lacking some sauce. Btw, they give out complimentary bottled waters, freshly baked focaccia bread with your take-out order, plus little duckies. Thank you Pinwheel Pasta!!! Staff wasn't the most smiley, but they were friendly. The wait time was more than 30+ minutes which was understandable due to them being so busy.
