7/27/26 People! It's 102°F in Rancho Cucamonga! Why are we in this cauldron?! Thankfully the indoor seating is well cooled with AC, otherwise it would've been a no go . Fresh in-house, handmade, delicious pastas & flavorful sauces, customer service can use a little bit of tweaking. You order at the counter, pay & then your food is delivered to your table. There were about 4-5 counter height tables:/hairs. We sat at a regular table to accommodate my foot with a boot. The food arrived at a reasonable amount of time. Of note, unrelated to our visit, an issue erupted between a customer & a patron that felt uncomfortable for myself & our group because it became a shouting match. This definitely could've been handled in a more professional manner. I'm not placing any blame on either party but de-escalating it would've been appreciated. Overall, the food was delicious. The pasta tasted fresh. The pesto sauce was a tad salty for my taste but it was flavorful. The meatballs were soft, you can taste the quality in their food. We noticed a few flies/gnats flying around our areas & had to swat them away plenty of times. Despite the issues encountered, our group had a pretty good enough time at this pasta shop. I remember reading a long time ago that Alyssa Milano as a proud Italian did not eat spaghetti because it was too commercialized and over-utilized in America. She ate other pastas. I didn't have any grand reason as that for preferring linguine as my pasta noodle of choice. My favorite childhood Italian family food joint used linguine as their "spaghetti" so that was what I thought of when it came to most pairings of sauce to noodle. Pomodoro, bolognese, and even my current sauce of choice, chili, will always be paired with linguine if I had my druthers. So it's always a bit disappointing to see a fresh pasta place not even offer it on the menu. I don't think it's a fair measuring stick comparing linguine to a spaghetti, a fett, or even a rotelle like I had here. They will never measure up because the mouth feel wil always be off. Don't mistake me; the rotelle Pomodoro was quite tasty, especially with that decent-sized meatball and focaccia on the side. That sauce was even a good choice because I always liked the simpler sauces. But always, always I think about how much better the meal would've gone with a nice linguine steering the ship. The service was good, if a bit brusque. The food came out quick and the server was even nicer serving than when I ordered. I like the ambiance too. Everything is spaced nicely for a restaurant this size. It feels relaxing in here and a place you can could host a good meal with a small set of friends. The first time I was here the customer service was really good and it was a lady at the front counter. This time, It was a guy at the front counter, wearing a white shirt and he was just there, no welcome just took the order. It was cool seeing the guys making a different foods behind the counter. I ordered the build your own pasta fettuccine Alfredo with tagliatelle noodles! Was it tasty! I also had an unsweetened bottle of Pure Leaf tea to drink. The focaccia bread that I dipped in oil is good that comes with the meal. I was surprised that we each didn't get our own orders of the bread. We got 1 order of 4 and we all got 1 each. I had to ask for more. Four of us got pasta dishes. All pastas were great! It is hot & humid outside. We sat at the small table closest to the huge glass door entrance. We picked up a catering order last night for my daughters graduation party, and it was the perfect choice! A regular spot for us. I love the huge door when you enter. There's not a ton of seating but we usually get it to go. It's usually pretty clean. The place is bright and the service is ok. Sometimes the workers can be a little short, but not rude by any means. They used to have the cutest oil and vinegar holders which I haven't seen the last couple times we went. Date night...Been wanting to try this fresh made pasta place for a while now. Was not happy at all. Prices are too high for this type of food. The spaghetti with bolognese sauce and 3 meatballs was $25. Garlic bread $8 add pomodoro sauce $4. They gave free facasia bread, it was absolutely average , oil was ok but I didn't care for the balsamic at all. Cesar salad was below average, did not taste any anchovy flavor at all. I would given 2 stars until I bit into a price of bone or grizzle about 1/2" in diameter. Really grossed me out. One and done for us. By way of comparison, Vince's or the old spaghetti factory are way better for the price and we don't care for either of those, however they both are predictable and consistent. What an amazing day to have you pasta! We were served by the young lady behind the counter who eat us know it was national tiramisu day and we can get a free slice with our entree. We ordered the Cajun pasta, mushroom pasta, kids pinwheel butter pasta and garlic bread. I placed the order online which is convenient. Pictures of the food looked good. When I arrived inside, there were no customers. I walked up to the pick up/cash register area in the middle. The cashier was facing the wall (looking at her phone). I waited patiently for her to see me. The cook saw me but didn't motion the cashier or acknowledge me. I finally had to make a sound to get her attention. Her attitude was not good. Not friendly and not welcoming and definitely didn't apologize for not seeing me. I ordered the seasonal special: summer corn ravioli in a spicy chorizo cream sauce, husband got the gnocchi in pesto with chicken. We were both really happy with our dishes. The fresh foccacia bread is so good! Only hiccup today was that when our dishes came out, mine was barely warm. Like not even lukewarm. I was really nice about it and just asked if they could throw it in a pan and refire it but the really nice girl running the register said that they couldn't take it back but would happily make me a new one. She came by and brought me a to-go container so that I could take the first dish home. She brought out a new dish 10 minutes later and it was DELISH. The style of service was unexpected for the quality and price of the food -- I had heard about the amazing handmade pasta here for a long time, and I was surprised to find it wasn't a seated restaurant with servers. You go up to the counter to pay upfront when you're ready to order. They do bring the food to your table. However, when I went on a Wednesday at 6:30pm, there was only one person who was both in charge of the counter and also bringing out food. Since there aren't a lot of staff, there isn't a lot of service, and the wait may be on the longer side. When we first arrived, it was relatively empty and quiet inside, but the few indoor tables filled up quickly after. Despite how busy the one server may have been, she was very nice and efficient and made sure to offer us more fresh warm focaccia and bottled waters when she came by to bring us our pasta. The place was also very well-kept and clean. I did notice that the menu items were significantly fewer than what people posted on Yelp in the past few months. Between the short staffing and menu reduction, I wonder if they are struggling financially. Regardless, the pasta was delicious and this restaurant should absolutely have our support! Its restaurant layout is long with open kitchen format. It was fascinating to watch the chefs cook and knead the flour and roll out the pasta. We ordered to-go the must get Spicy Sausage Ragu and a Fettuccine Alfredo. The price for the spicy sausage ragu was $24, but worth it. It's savory, a little sweet, perfectly seasoned, and full of exceptional flavors. SO SO SCRUMPTIOUS! I would get this dish every time. My mouth is watering right now. As for the fettuccine alfredo, my daughter said it was just okay. It was lacking some sauce. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat would go all the time since they opened and today 6/5/26 went for lunch we waited 35 minutes for just one sandwich I asked at 25 minutes if we can get some bread while we wait witch you normally always get once you sit down but we didnt get any till I asked once I asked they bearly started to make our food didnt get any apologies or anything for the wait . Came here for the first time and it was a good first experience. The entrance is tricky because the door is heavy and huge. You will need to put some muscle into it. Sadly, they did not have the meats to make the sandwich I wanted ready and would have had to wait 30min for them to slice them. However, they offered me a free slice of tiramisu and gave me extra bread for the inconvenience. We tried the following: Arugula sandwich with prosciutto 8/10 needed more glaze.
