I'm lucky enough to work for a company that treats us to lunch on Fridays, and this week we ordered from Furnos. I've had Furnos on my own before, but never got around to writing a review this time, they absolutely deserve one. I ordered the pizza sampler with Margherita, onion, and pepperoni, along with both the cheese and meat empanadas. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The crust had a great texture, the toppings were generous without being overwhelming, and each slice had its own distinct flavor. The empanadas were a standout perfectly baked with delicious, well-seasoned fillings. Safe to say Furnos will definitely be part of our regular office rotation from now on. Tiny family owned and operated Argentinian deli that does pizzas and some Italian sandwiches as well. I saw their pizzas which got my attention, but when I visited, I opted for one of their Argentinian (sausage or choripan) sandwiches and an empanada. I thought both were very tasty and the bleu cheese empanada I got was interesting. Never had one with bleu cheese before - at least from what I can remember. The bread on the sandwich was great! Not sure if they bake it in house, but it had a nice slight crunch and chew. Just note that this place operates as Furnos and Guido Deli & Pizza. As I understand it, the old name is still up as a homage to the previous owner who served the community for a long time. The space itself is pretty chill. It's pretty tiny, so I believe most of their business is take out. There are a few small tables outside if you want to eat there though. I really enjoy small, family operating businesses like this and will continue and try to support these type of businesses as much as possible. Also, just a great spot to get some quick eats at a more than reasonable price. Definitely want to explore more of the menu and for sure want to try their pizza soon. read more

They are freshly made, piping hot, baked (not fried), with a golden crust and a generous amount of beef. It's a family-run place with friendly attention and care for customers. Highly recommend the pizzas here. The ingredients are fresh and the pizza dough is extremely well made. This is an Argentinian family shop, the vibes here are quite friendly and warm. The cute pizza lady here told me that the house special pizza is great. So I got that. The crust is very on pot, South American style. Maybe just need a little bit more cheese on the pizza. The olive was fresh. It seems like they recently updated their prices. Small pizzas at $15 and big ones at $28. Was out visiting and stop here, read a lot of great reviews and the food was amazing. The staff and owner was extremely sweet and welcoming.

After first being excited to find Argentinian food, specifically empanadas and fugazzeti pizza, we came away disappointed. We had to pass on the pizza, a specialty item loaded with white cheese and onion, mostly because it would take too long and we did not have enough time to wait. Not their fault, but we opted to go with 3 empanadas instead. We tried the Chicken, Beef, and Ham and Cheese fillings, and they were nice sized and priced fairly. But we were quite disappointed with the dough. It was heavy, thick, and still doughy inside, even though they were freshly deep fried. The 3 fillings were just ok. The Flan was an afterthought and actually the only thing we would return for. It was quite good and creamy. We were also not impressed with the counter service. The two girls seemed preoccupied, lackluster, and impressed us as unhappy to have to explain anything. If they had been busy, I might have been more forgiving, but the restaurant was completely empty. This attitude plus the disappointing empanadas made it less likely we would be coming here again. read more

This is My. Go to pizza place. Argentinian style pizza from in Argentinian deli. Don't expect to eat there. It's a grab and go type place. You won't find any tables there. I always get the sampler pizza. And I have yet to find a single one that I don't like. I always make sure to order in advance because it definitely takes a while. And whenever they tell you to pick up time. I would add another 10 minutes on top of that. I also love the Guy who takes the orders over the phone. As soon as you order, something, he always ask. "what else?" Because there is always more! Definitely recommend trying the empanadas and the tiramisu! read more

4.5 stars Decided to try the Argentina-style empanadas here since I was just next door at Krak Boba. And...their empanadas are pretty good! I chose their empanada lunch special ($7.50), which came with 3 empanads and a can of soda. I got chicken, spinach alfredo, and corn empanada. When I looked at the size, I thought it was the perfect-sized snack. But NO! It was very filling. Chicken was ok-tasting to me, but the spinach alfredo and corn were my favorites. They were so cheesy, creamy, and satisfying...probably why I got full quickly. And the chimichurri sauce helped cut through the fat nicely. The dough was bread-like and quite nice. My husband and I have been going to Guido's in Rancho Cucamonga since 2014 or so. We loved their sandwiches and empanadas especially. I did not realize they had opened a second location and found out they just opened a few months ago. The same family owns and runs this location which is right by the movie theater and has seating inside. I was in the area in Ontario so I stopped in here to get lunch. They have lunch specials on the weekdays so I went with the Empanada lunch special; 3 empanadas with a canned soda for $6.00! They don't have ready-made ones so mine were made to order. It took about 20 minutes for me to get back home, but they were still piping hot! I got beef, chicken, and spinach and they tasted them just as I remembered when getting them at Guido's. read more

Stumbled into Guidos (Furnos) by happenstance and could not be any happier! We ended up getting the Cipolla pizza after finding out the Fugazzetta takes about an hour to bake. Employees were super friendly and modified our pizza to the best of their ability to mimic the Cipolla. The flavors are fantastic especially considering the pizza just had cheese and onions. I saw that this place opened recently and it's located in front of Regal Edwards theater off Mountain ave in Ontario. I shared a choripan sandwich with my mom. It can come with a side of salad or french fries. It's a sliced Argentinian sausage with mayonnaise, tomatoes, chimichurri on a crusty bread. It was not too chewy and the sausage was moist and seasoned nicely. The salad was with sliced tomatoes and sliced onions with a very vinegary dressing. I also bought a dozen empanadas to bring to my brothers at home to try. I chose the espinaca, chicken, chicken with jalapenos, beef, beef with jalapenos. My favorite was the beef. The amount of chopped beef and green olive was good and the jalapenos gave a good amount of heat. The chimichurri sauce cost extra and it went went with the empanadas. We ordered the full-size pizza 1/2 pep & sausage and 1/2 margherita (yes, you can do half and half!!!), 6 empanadas (spinach alfredo, corn, beef jalapeño, ham & cheese, chicken jalapeño, ricotta), pepitas. Aside from the salt level of the pep & sausage being a bit on the higher end (for me at least), everything was delicious!! My personal favorites were the spinach alfredo, corn, and beef jalapeño empanadas as well as the pepitas!!! TIP: Get the chimichurri sauce for the empanadas!!! Hubby is picky and he wants to order every weekend :) the other day we called in to place an order (weekday) (Ontario) location and they closed early. I called Rancho location and they told me I couldn't place an order, it was only 7:30pm. I send them a message via IG and Ivo responded right away. I got empanadas on the house thanks to IVO. The empanadas I got (both beef) were dry and gross. I picked at each, tasted like too much ground beef with not enough seasoning. Probably could have forgiven that if they were fresher. The pizza was good. I like a little char, but there was an actual burnt spot and the crust was tough. And bland tomato sauce. Def one of my top fave pizzas in the IE! I've tried their margherita and pepperoni. Both were light, flavorful, and craveable. Dough was wonderfully fermented. The topping to dough ratio was spot on, where it was not too saucy and not too cheesy. I could easily eat multiple slices of their pies if I wanted to. The atmosphere is good for a light lunch. we chose 3 empanadas, a small pizza and 2 waters. the spinach and alfredo didn't have much alfredo flavor but it was good and the onion/cheese was just ok; tip...add parmesan. the individual pizza (4 slices) was ok. a topping was missing so a dessert was offered. flan was chosen and the sugar was burnt so not so good. apologies were given so that's always nice. read more

We shared a beef and a chicken empanada to try both with the chimichurri sauce. The empanadas were good, and the sauce was amazing. It was delicious we put it on everything. I got the Milanesa napolitana sandwich combo with fries and a drink (I would recommend it). I throughly enjoyed it. The sandwiches were huge, we both took our halves home. You definitely need to order the chimichurri sauce and dips your fries in it. We even got dessert: a brookie & a slice of lemon cake. Those were good as well. I've only tried the margherita pizza here. It's great. Their dough definitely has a fermented taste to it, it's not thin but it's fluffy; kind of like focaccia but with a pretty crispy bottom.
