We ordered the bruschetta, a mini thick crust pepperoni and bacon pizza, a small thin crust pepperoni pizza, and a medium Monaco's pizza. All of the food was great! The bruschetta is nicely seasoned and flavorful. My husband and I shared the Monaco's pizza and we both greatly enjoyed it. My kids had the other two pizzas and they were both happy with their food. They also ordered strawberry lemonades. There wasn't much strawberry in them at first, but our waitress was more than happy to add a bit more and the kids said they were great. There's no refills on the strawberry lemonade, but they will refill it with plain lemonade. It's a small restaurant and can feel a bit crowded but overall a nice experience. read more

Now I understand why this place was empty at lunch time on a Saturday! Service was horrible. It took someone 5 minutes just to acknowledge we were standing there waiting. Throughout service most of us had empty drinks. In both pics you can see my empty drink. The food was pathetic. Just look at this pastrami sandwich. That's barely enough meat for a toddler! Plus it was way too thick. It was NOT rendered down properly at all. There were pieces that were inedible that I had to spit out and leave on my plate. I don't understand how this place doesn't have five stars. We've been coming here for YEARS and it never disappoints. We have taken friends from out of town or different cities here and when they come back to visit, they always request Monaco's. When my father in law was in the hospital getting chemo, he said the first thing he wanted to eat when he was able to, was Monaco's. If that doesn't say something about how yummy this place is, I don't know what will. We always have excellent service, and Joey is always our favorite. This place is a joke! We ordered pizza for delivery and it took an hour and 40 minutes for it to come. I called and they said he has 3 more deliveries ahead of ours . It finally arrived and on the ticket it said the food went out at 6:20 and it arrived at our house at 7:15. So our pizza was not hot , salad was not cold and the raviolis were hard . The kicker was our pizza was not even cut! I called to ask why it took so long and the young girl who answered was like uh yeah we have a lot of deliveries . I asked to speak to the manager and was on hold forever so I finally hung up. That's it for Monaco's we will never be back. I've had an issue in the past with a delivery guy writing in a tip and I had to deal with Rose and she was so unprofessional. I can only imagine what management is like now . 1/5 -- Extremely Poor Management & Customer Service Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience from beginning to end. The biggest issue was the complete lack of organization, communication, and respect for customers' time. We were originally told the wait would be approximately 45 minutes. We patiently waited the entire 45 minutes, only to then be told that we would need to wait ANOTHER 25 minutes. If the actual wait time was going to be over an hour, that should have been communicated honestly from the beginning. The entire operation felt rushed and poorly managed. Staff seemed more focused on pushing things through than making sure customers were properly taken care of. There appeared to be very little coordination between the employees and management, and nobody seemed to take responsibility for the delays. Good customer service starts with communication and respecting people's time. If you're running behind, just be upfront about it so customers can make their own decision about whether they want to wait. Management seriously needs to improve the way this location is organized and operated. Based on our experience, the service, communication, and overall management were unacceptable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because there is clearly a lot of room for improvement. read more

Always come to Monaco's which is a local favorite pizza spot. Their wings are super delicious and their version of a supreme pizza is amazing. Usually I get it to go, but their happy hour is pretty amazing and fried ravioli is to die for. They have a full bar and some pretty strong drinks, and it's a local hot spot. read more

Normally Monicos Pizza is delicious. However, for the second time in 10 months I have received a pizza that has, hard, tuff crust & a distinctive odd taste that is hard to describe. I called and spoke to one of the owners who gave me credit for one pizza when I had ordered 3 large pizzas. Next pizza I ordered was great as expected. However, 3 days ago ordered another pizza & it had that hard, tuff crust & odd taste I experienced 10 months prior. I called to speak to the manager who told me, "we've never had this happen before." I told het I saved the pizza & would bring it into her. She did not want that. Rather than go round & round with her, I told her ai did not want credit or a refund, Just letting them know how awful the pizza was. Upon pickup, I was given two Coke Zeros--this is the second time this has happened. Fortunately, I checked the order before leaving and requested the regular Coke cans, which the store did not have. When I informed the older woman at the counter that I would not be taking the Coke Zeros, her response was "oh." The larger issue occurred when I paid. I provided two $10 bills totaling $20. My order came to $14.13, which means my correct change should have been $5.87. Instead, I was given $2 and some change. She pointed to the computer screen as if the displayed amount justified the discrepancy, but it was clear something was wrong. After stepping outside to verify the math, I returned and addressed the issue. The woman appeared confused and unable to determine the correct change. I had to explain the calculation multiple times and even showed her the correct amount on my calculator. She eventually corrected the mistake, but the interaction demonstrated a lack of basic customer service and attention to detail. There were 12 in our group and between us all there was lasagna, chicken parm, eggplant parm, antipasto salad, cavatelli, and pizza. I got the chicken parm. The salad it comes with was huge and had olives, cheese, tomatoes, and a peperoncino. The chicken parm itself was delicious. Hot, good breading, and cooked well. I also got it with linguine and meat sauce, which was a lil eh. But after throwing some salt and Parmesan cheese on it, it was better. My husband got the eggplant parm which was amazing. It's a huge portion and is cooked to perfection. A lil crispy on the bottom so it wasn't soggy. Service was good but slow. Maybe just because our group was big. But when we did ask for things or she came to check on us it eventually got taken care of just a lil long. The service of this place has really gone down hill. Now I know why it only has 3 stars. Waited almost an hour to be seated with staff attending to other guests not noticing who was there first. Several couples left the line because of this. When we finally got seated, the waiter took about 15 mins before they even got our drinks, 15 minutes later with our drinks and got to place our orders. 10 mins after taking our orders, they came out and told us they didn't have any clams for my linguine vongole order. By this time I was almost two hours into this place. Mind this was around 2pm in the afternoon. The restaurant seems to be short staffed and servers with an attitude. At that point, the employee informed me that the payment had already been processed and that she would need to create a separate order for the drinks. I then inquired whether the Cokes could be offered as a courtesy given the inconvenience. She consulted with someone I believe was a manager or assistant manager, although he did not identify himself. When I attempted to explain my concern, he repeatedly interrupted me and spoke over me, stating, "I can't just give Cokes away for free." I clarified that I was willing to pay for the drinks; however, due to the dismissive and disrespectful manner in which I was treated--particularly being interrupted multiple times--I requested that the order be canceled... He then hung up on me. As a frequent customer, I was genuinely surprised and disappointed by the overall lack of customer service. My gosh I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life here at Monaco's. Not only was our server terrible at service, my food was disgusting and my pasta was literally falling apart and all mushy. It was the consistency of mashed potatoes but was supposed to be penne pasta. The cherry on top of the awful experience was that our bill finally came and we were over charged for 2 out of 4 of the items. Our lunch special was supposed to be $10.99 but we were charged $15.99. Also when I had to go track down the server and asked her to come to our table to go over the incorrect bill she avoided our table and finally after waiting we just pad the incorrect bill and left.
