Ignore the petty low star reviews here. This is a legit passion business and their business is to make amazing pizzas. Consistent quality. I have not tried their wings but I have been ordering from here for a while and its always super high quality. My toddler doesn't like cheese pizzas from the big 3 pizza chains, except for LC, but Pizza 101 is consistently his favorite and we love having an easy cheat day dinner for him once in a while. Their flaming hot chicken, pastrami, gyro and steak toppings are always fresh and I encourage everyone to try each topping at least once. The staff are courteous, friendly and usually responsive. We've been ordering from Pizza 101 for years, and we've tried just about everything--breakfast pizzas, classic pepperoni, and now their specialty pizzas. A few weeks ago, we gave the gyro pizza a shot, and now we're hooked. It's so good! The pastrami is delicious, the cheesy breads are amazing, and the wings are definitely worth trying too. The worst experience ever. The man chose not to give me my pizza eventhough I had already paid for it. They didnt bring this up over the phone they were asking for my debit card. My kids and I had been waiting for hours to eat then he chose not to give us our food. My son will never forget this. The worst place and to think I was a paying customer for years. Very decent local pizza spot, definitely beats little Caesar's in pizza quality and about the same in prices (if not a little more expensive) if you order in person. The service is kind, over the last three years of going to pizza 101 I've never had a bad experience. The inside of the restaurant is very homey rather than professional, personally that's what I look for in a pizza place. Staff: Everyone was very nice when we went to pick up the food. Each staff member wore a mask which was a welcome sight. Quality/Quantity: Got the buffalo wings which were very tasty. Not too hot but enough heat to make them tasty. The pizza was really good. Th crust was really good and the cheese was extra cheesy. We also got the garlic bread but it just needed to be cooked another 2 mins to reach the next level. Value: Our dear friends treated us so I am not positive of the price but I want to say it was about $60 for 4 pizzas, 2 wings, and garlic bread. For all that it is a great value. Our go to spot for pizza and wings. Their wings are unlike other places. These are actually meaty qnd have good flavor. We've tried a bunch of different flavors and have not been disappointed once. Their pizza is also really good. They have a variety of different toppings, offered heart shaped pizzas on some occasions like Valentine's Day, and even offer cauliflower crust and thin crust pizzas. A very dated website, with a cry for massive help on a redesign, and coding so that remote orders can be placed. If you want to quickly order, it's best to call in. Admittedly they have aggressive local marketing I.e USPS and flyers, which is a good sign for longevity of the business. On top of that they creative for like valentine day, and make / deliver heart shaped pizza. Their dough taste good - though upon reheat it could get pretty hard (that is when done via microwave) vs other chains. I've yet to try warming it up via the oven to see if that helps. Overall I'd rate their quality as good, not the best but good! A location I've been to multiple times and continue to see myself order from. read more

Entire family got food poisoning last night , ordered the football feast a pepperoni pizza and a pineapple pizza. All 5 of us got sick, when me and my husband called to notify management, we didn't even get an apology we were told by "ZEKE" that there is nothing he could do for us and told us to try and reach out to the owners and that he doesn't know when they will be in it's sparatic when they come in. I really hope no one else gets food poisoning since Zeke said there is nothing he could do about it. Yummy! We were very impressed with this pizza place! It was delicious and it was open on Christmas Day!! We went to get some for dinner on Christmas and it was a 30 min wait, but so worth it. I called to answer two pizzas and stuffed bell peppers. Only after unsuccessfully trying to order online. The guy answering the phone acted as if he couldn't hear a thing I said. One medium supreme, one steak and egg and one order of bell peppers. 45 minute delivery the website says. The resin answering the phone identified himself as Mark. Thirty minutes later Zi received a call back from a lady stating that they didn't have eggs! 30 MINUTES LATER! I canceled the order! Please get your business straightened out with your employees!!! We've been ordering from Pizza 101 since we moved here almost 11 years ago. It used to be the best pizza around, our weekly stop that never disappointed. Lately it's been hit or miss and most of them have been not so great. Tonight hit a whole new low. This pizza might as well been week old crust and a little cheese because there was little to no sauce. One wouldn't call it a cheese pizza because there was hardly any cheese on the pizza. I understand raising prices due to supply increases but sacrificing the quality you've had for so many years is never a good thing. Tried it, probably will not go back. The pizza was delivered in a timely manner and the lady taking the order over the phone was very nice. Such delicious NY style pizza. We get the GIANT and it just spot on in crust/ sauce/cheese ratios. Ordered 7 for a party last week and they were on time for delivery with a very polite delivery guy. The pizzas were perfect and well received. We love the variety of special pizzas they have, all so well thought out and executed, great for a party. I haven't tried the pizza in years but it looks good. I order the chicken Alfredo pasta and it was great. They allow you to change up the flavor of the chicken and add more ingredients to make your pasta the way you want which is dope. It was flavorful and well prepared. Got one of their flyers in the mail and, based on the reviews, decided to give them a try. Upside is that they are reasonably priced for the size of their pizzas, the toppings are generous and of good quality, the delivery was on time and their specialty pizzas are really creative. The downside, at least for this order, was the crust. I ordered three different specialty pizzas with thin crust . They were all very chewy. Not what I expect for a pizza. I,m going to try to reheat a couple of slices tomorrow to see if I can add a bit of crispness to the crust before I decide if I'll be a repeat customer. read more

Me and my wife wanted a pizza so we said let's try pizza 101; since we have never been there before. We like thick crust so I ordered what they think is a deep dish pizza, it was no thicker than a regular crust, and being from Chicago we know what a deep dish really is. So I ordered a pizza with ,,, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, also with cheese & sauce. I asked how long it would take and they said about 15min and said 15min to make a pizza and they looked at me and said yes like It was supposed to take longer, well where we come from it takes about 30 to 35 min for a good pie. Well when I got it home and opened it up and we thought well it don't look that bad, but when we bit into it boy what a surprise it worse then eating a frozen cold day old pizza. Well about and hour latter we both had the worse stomach ache and the shits!!!! But what was surprising is that there was a good amount of people in the store and people coming in to pick up pizza and then it dawned on me they are there only because it's cheep, and with the way things are these days people think cheep is better. Well I would pay more for good quality food then go cheep and get sick, we will never ever go back to this place again. We will just stick to Petrillis pizza in upland where they take pride in their pizza and for a little more money for your pie but the ingredients and quality is well worth it. read more
