Stopped by Haven City Market for trivia night and was feeling like trying somewhere new. The sandwiches looked good so I tried the chicken pesto with a side of fries. I didn't see the combo options until after I ordered - I think next time I'd try one of those. The sandwich was good but super oily from the pesto. I don't mind greasy food that much but it was sopping on the bottom. I'd probably give them 3 stars if the side order of $5 fries wasn't absolutely massive and delicious. The food was lousy. Because I ordered chicken tenders and the waitress there melissa it made them taste like fish. My drink it wasn't even cold. I had to ask for a cup of ice. I had ordered a pepperoni and sausage Pizza. All she gave me was a sausage Pizza. Ordered a meatball sub and mozzarella sticks to go--should've been quick, right? Nope. We waited 30 minutes while they repeatedly asked what we were even waiting for. Turns out... they forgot the sub in the oven and completely burned it. Had to start over from scratch. My husband and I frequent the Haven City Market often and always see the tasty looking pizza at Brick Shack Pizza upon entering. We recently decided to try a few slices and we can confidently report that the pizza tasted as good as it looks. We tried a BBQ Chicken Slice as well as a Pepperoni and Sausage slice. Both were tasty. We're really particular about pizza, especially my husband, and we have to say that the slices we had at Brick Shack Pizza were some of the best we've tasted in the IE. Slices were a good size and the pizza tasted relatively fresh. Service was friendly and efficient. We've definitely been sleeping on Brick Shack Pizza, especially since it's easy to get distracted with all of the other offerings at Haven City Market. They have easily soared to one of our top favorites and we're looking forward to trying more of their pizza out in the future. read more

Awesome pizza--especially considering how unpredictable food markets can be. A lot of places here are more about the vibe than the food, but this one actually delivers. When I ordered, there was a Spanish-speaking gentleman at the counter who didn't speak much English. I tried to ask him a quick question, but I'm guessing he's usually busy in the back making the great food. Either way, he had no problem taking my order, ringing me up, and getting everything right. I ordered three slices, and surprisingly, the veggie one ended up being my favorite--but all three were excellent. Nothing tasted or felt greasy, which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely a place I'll come back to when I feel like I've earned a calorie-dense reward. Brick Shack Pizza is an east coast pizza place inside the Haven City Market. For our family, east coast pizza places are a magnet, because so few of them come close to the real thing. Here, they're doing it right and selling some really tasty pies. Yes, they also sell by the slice. We have been here a few times now and have always came away impressed. They cook their pies in a typical pizza oven. Though sadly re-heat their slices in a conveyor belt toaster oven, found in many of the major chain pizza. I've always liked this place, still do, but the pizza rose we got today went from $4.50 to $6.50 (somewhere around there) and when they ran it through their warmer oven, it was barely warmed enough. It's still very good, but now too expensive, and now it's something you need to take home and put in your air fryer to be like it used to be. The food tasted great and seasoned well. The only draw back was the round container the lasagna was served in was a little small in my opinion. The service was on point very friendly and professional staff. The outside and inside of this location was very clean. You can tell they take pride in their business. I will for return. My eldest daughter and I recently visited Haven City Market for dinner. It was about an hour-ish before closing time. Some of the food vendors were already closed or getting ready to close because it was a Monday night and they are slow on that day from what I was informed. Anyway, we thought we give Brick Shack Pizza a whirl. They have a variety of different pizzas with various toppings. Supreme, Hawaiian, Cheese, Pepperoni, Meat Lovers, and a few others. If you see the pizza looking a bit cold, no worries... they have a nifty little convection oven of some sort that they run the pizza slices through to give them a lift and warm them up. They also have chicken wings with flavors like Buffalo, BBQ, Teriyaki, Garlic Parmesan, and Mango-Habanerno... you may get them bone-in or bone-out... go bone-in all the way! The taste and flavor of the wings seems to come through more with bone in tack. Stromboli, pasta, garlic rolls, salads, beers, and other liquors are offered as well. A very well rounded pizza shack! Since it was almost closing time, the nice young gentleman who was assisting us was kind to offer buy one slice of pizza get one slice of pizza free. Sign me up! LOL For $6.95 per slice, it was a pretty good size pizza. We got the Hawaiian and Supreme. Both were good, but I wished they ran the slices through twice because cheese wasn't melty enough for me. I could have went back and asked them to do it, but I was too hungry to wait another minute LOL. We also got 8 piece wings half buffalo and half garlic parmesan. Unfortunately, they only had 4 wings bone-in left so they gave us the other half with boneless. I prefer the bone-in hands down... it was delicious especially the buffalo flavor... I didn't care for the garlic parmesan though. The boneless was a little dry IMHO. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Thank you sir for the BOGO offer! Service was quick. Though the wings took a bit longer than expected. Ambiance is quaint... I like their pizza logo and quote. I don't understand how this place has 4 stars. The pizza is just bad. It clearly has been sitting there for a long time and is not fresh. Toasting it for 10 seconds doesn't fix that. The toppings are cheap and low quality. It's like school cafeteria pizza, but worse somehow. There are so many other, better restaurants in Haven City. Go somewhere else. Oh yeah, and they have build your own and specialties if nothing on display catches your eye. They're located inside the Haven City Market so when it comes to seating it's shared with all the food vendors. Just a heads up but if you see the parking lot full just know seating is limited. 100% one of the best spots to visit in this food hall. Their pizza is delicious. Not only do they offer pizza by the slice but if you get for example their pink lemonade you get free refills after! I love that. Even when I don't eat with them I always make sure to get my lemonade with them so I can get a refill to go. They are always so nice and ready to help you when you step in front of their food display case so that is always nice. I always seem to find seating near them too so i tend to stay in their area. My bf always gets his beer from them too since they have a good selection. I've also seen they offer limited mix drinks so that's cool! That's next on my list to try. The pizza itself with the tomatoes and chicken were so good, I really should've gotten more slices to take home. And the rose rolls were so yummy, I definitely will come back to get those again. This place opened up recently inside the Haven City Market. I like that sell pizza by the slices along with whole pizza. They have strombolis as well. They make philly steak and pepperoni. For pizza, they had pastrami, plain cheese, bbq chicken, and soyrizo for vegans. I usually get the pepperoni slice ($5.45) and the garlic bread ($1.95) is good too. They do r-heat the pizza slice to make it crispy again. The pizza was a good size, crispy and not too greasy. The crust was not too soft and they were not too heavy on the sauce. Yessssss! This place is fire! Second time having Brick Shack Pizza. I loved it the first time! They make a yummy cheese pizza! I came back for a slice of that heaven! :) Luckily when we arrived there wasn't a line. Wooohooooo. The first time I came to Brick Pizza, the line was crazy. So I was happy that we didn't have to wait. We walked up ordered a few slices of pizza and an order of jalapeño poppers with ranch and two drinks. Bombdiggity (I know people don't say that anymore. Probably just aged myself lol). My slices of cheese pizza were yummy. My friend enjoyed his pizza- he rated it "4 stars" and my rating is also 4 stars. The jalapeño poppers were okayyy.
