First timers! We frequent the shoppes at Victoria Gardens and wanted to have breakfast prior to a little shopping. This eww the first place that popped up on Yelp, so we said why not! When you first walk in you can't help but notice the groovy dance tunes playing and the cute trendy decor! Great vibe all around. The food was absolutely amazing, very tasty and even though they were busy every server checked in on us. Should you ever be in the area, Please do yourself a favor and stop in and enjoy all they have to offer. Also our 2 servers were Kiki and Kenzia. Hats off to them!

Great service as expected! This is our usual breakfast spot for the weekend. The host was friendly and seated us within 5 mins or less. Our server was Belen- very friendly / enthusiastic and knowledgeable with the menu items We ordered a kids pancakes which came with a cute happy face Breakfast croissant with lots of bacon slices and birria chilaquiles- amazing flavor with the birria very authentic. Super cute ambiance and girly with great music & even better coffee choices !

My friend suggested this spot for brunch, it was our first time at this location. We got there around 10 AM and there wasn't a long wait. We joined the waitlist on our way to the restaurant, and by the time we arrived, we were already up next. The service was very polite, and the food tasted fresh and yummy. The atmosphere is definitely more on the rowdy and lively side, so just expect that when coming here. It's not really a calm or quiet brunch spot, people get very lively, especially as it gets later in the day. I had the avocado toast and asked for no balsamic glaze, but unfortunately it still came with it. We also received our food before our mimosas, and I had to remind our waiter about the drinks. The waiters were all very kind, though, and I think the small mix-ups were mostly due to how busy this place gets. The later it got, the busier they became. After breakfast and drinks, we also ordered a coffee flight. The flight was definitely on the sweeter side, so I ordered an espresso shot on the side and added a little to each glass to balance out the sweetness of the different flavors. Out of the flight, the pumpkin latte was pretty good, but I didn't really care for the rest. The decor here is beautiful and very Instagram-worthy, which is smart on their part because everyone was taking photos. I would recommend this location based on the food and kind service alone. Despite a couple of small mix-ups, we enjoyed our experience and the staff was very friendly.

    Chicken N Waffle

Came to Haven Haus Cafe with my girlfriend and really liked the ambiance! The dim lighting and darker setting gave it a nice vibe, and our waitress was super friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken and waffle, while my girlfriend kept it classic with eggs and bacon lol. The waffle was really good, but the chicken was tough to cut and chew. My plate didn't come with butter or syrup, and there was a red sauce on the side that I wasn't sure what to pair with . One thing to watch out for is parking. The lot is really small and can get tricky with cars coming and going, so be careful pulling in and backing out. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and service, but the chicken could've been better.

Cute Brunch Spot... But Was the Food Giving "Haven"? Came here for an 8 AM birthday breakfast with a friend, and thankfully there are PLENTY of parking spots in the plaza, so no need to stress about that! The ambience is definitely one of the highlights. Very modern, open, and welcoming with a really cute interior. There are even some fun little designs and mirrors along the walls that make the place pretty picture-worthy. I also noticed they offer mimosa flights, but since it was 8 AM and a birthday breakfast, I decided to behave... this time. Haven Avocado Scramble -- $16.95 | 6.8/10 This was pretty mediocre for me. Egg whites, tomatoes, bell peppers, and country potatoes--nothing was necessarily bad, but nothing really stood out either. There were SO many things on the menu I wanted to order, but of course I was trying to keep things on the lighter side calorie-wise. And unfortunately... this was probably not the dish to get excited about. Big Country Skillet -- $17.95 | 6.5/10 My friend ordered this one, and as a self-proclaimed skillet girl, I had to sneak a bite! I usually love a good skillet loaded with eggs, cheese, hearty chunks of meat, and all the fixings. But this one was VERY potato-heavy. The meat was diced into such tiny pieces that you could barely see or taste it, and it felt pretty sparse throughout the skillet. I've definitely had better skillets at other brunch spots. ‍ Service -- 5/5 Now THIS was a highlight! Joe and Kiki were both super kind and welcoming, and the service definitely made the experience better. Overall, I'd give the food 3/5, but service gets 5/5! The ambience is cute, the location is convenient, and I may give them another try because there were definitely other menu items that caught my eye. Just maybe not the avocado scramble or country skillet next time. Happy brunch!

Thanks McKenzie for the great service. Oat vanilla latte was great. Also had the Haven Haus burger, perfect to fill my burger craving. Always great to come back to, still love the water glasses

Went here for brunch with some friends. This place was packed on a Saturday morning. We ordered our drinks and food. I got a coffee and the chorizo breakfast, it was good and a standard portion. I loved how it was decorated inside, really gave it that brunch feel. Service was quick. Server was helpful with recommendations. Parking can be a bit challenging with this being a popular spot.

    Poached too long. Otherwise, good.

Cookie cutter breakfast menu, not that it is a problem. But the breakfast we had was not up to standards enough to make us return. What tempted me was the Eggs Benedict. It was beautiful to look at, but not as good as hoped. First of all, my dish was not hot. I wished the English muffin had been toasted sufficiently to crisp up those craggy parts. If it was toasted at all, I could not tell. The hollandaise sauce was rather bland, not bad, but missing a bright, lemony flavor. And probably a bigger expectation, the poached eggs were barely runny. What were good were the nice pieces of good tasting bacon and fresh spinach leaves. That saved me from being wholly disappointed. I chose their house potatoes to go with the Benedict, but these came out barely warm, and worse yet, old tasting. I ended up requesting they be replaced with hash browns, and those were great, a big improvement. Our other breakfast choice was a Blueberry Belgian waffle. It was unremarkable tasting and lacked crispness. Again, it was not particularly warm, the butter on top did not melt. I've had better. The server was very good considering they were pretty full that day. However, the food took much longer than it should have to arrive, which may have explained why nothing came out hot except for the crispy hash browns that replaced the disappointing house potatoes. One final note. How hard is it for a restaurant as long-staying as this one is, to serve a decent glass of water? It was undrinkable. I shudder to think what their coffee must taste like.

Haven Haus Cafe definitely understands the assignment when it comes to aesthetics. The space is modern, cool, and extremely social media friendly, but thankfully there's more going on here than just a pretty backdrop. I went with a basic, I mean classic, breakfast and thought everything was excellent. Sometimes eggs and breakfast staples are exactly what you want, no elaborate brunch creation required. The service was impressively fast, friendly, and efficient, and visiting around 8 a.m. on a Monday meant the place was wide open and wonderfully relaxed. From what I've seen, the weekend crowds can get pretty intense, so if your schedule allows for a weekday visit, that might be the secret. Great food, great service, and no waiting around for a table while hungry. My kind of breakfast.

This is an updated review that is only intended for whoever is making the food and whoever is hiring/training those that are making the food since my last review. I have been to this brunch spot more times than I can count, continuously hoping THIS is the time they can get it right. Wrong. EVERY time I've gone, I order eggs Benedict with specific instructions of "cooked through whites and runny yokes". Every single time (no joke) I have ordered it, my eggs are cooked terribly. They're either completely undercooked with translucent whites and gross goo or I send them back and they come back and might as well be a hard boiled egg. By the time I get the meal cooked correctly, my friends are usually done with their food and I sit there watching them eat. I am beyond patient, but if the chefs can't cook a poached egg correctly at a brunch spot over a spread of multiple days and times...it's probably time to reevaluate. We can only blame the rush of brunch time so much. I shouldn't have to change what I order to accommodate the chefs lack of ability to make what is offered on the menu. Thankfully Amber is the only reason I keep coming back and enjoy my experience! She always makes it right, but again, she's not the one making the eggs. Additionally, we came on a Friday around 11:30am and it was SO loud. We came for a quick business meeting and had to table our discussions because the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other. I think everyone in the restaurant was trying to talk over it. So please keep that in mind for your dining preferences!

Came in on a Sunday. Party of 4 and arrived around 9am. No wait and was seated right away. Ordered a veggie skillet with sausage and the mimosa flight. The place started to fill up but service was still good. A great place to eat in Rancho!

McKenzie was amazing! Wait wasn't as long as quoted, she helped quickly, gave helpful suggestions, and was so sweet! The chilequiles with birria straight up blew my mind! Churro French toast was sooooo yummy and the chicken waffles were great (waffle was a tad dry), and the signature coffee flight was delish!! Love the ambience and McKenzie!!

Brunch date with a girlfriend and I have to say I was surprised how big this restaurant was from the inside. Nice looking place too. Sat right away. The servers took a bit long to take our order. They were nice but I thought I would add that in there. We had to keep calling them over. After we ordered the food did not take long to come out. Every single thing had a great presentation and was absolutely delicious. The coffee was amazing too. Glad I got to take pictures. The plate was wiped clean. So so good! We will definitely be going back. Everything on the menu sounded tasty.

The rice was crunchy, and the beans was not even above room temp. To me this indicates food that sat awhile. There was hardly any meat on the bone, and I'm not exaggerating when I say there were maybe two pieces of hominy in the entire bowl. How do you serve pozole with no hominy? We politely declined getting something else, but after acknowledging how bad the pozole was and offering to remove it, it was still left on our bill. I understand that sometimes a dish just doesn't come out right, but the way it was handled made the experience even more disappointing. If a customer brings up a legitimate issue with their food--especially when the bowl is clearly missing one of the main ingredients--I would expect the restaurant to make it right without the customer having to keep asking.
