We visited here for lunch on a Monday holiday. The food court was mostly empty. There was only one guy working and he seemed reluctant to help. I ordered a 2 chicken wrap combo, a 2 lamb wrap combo, and a gyro combo for our party. Food took a while to come out. But with only one guy working, I wasn't complaining. When I food finally came out, the fries were cold, hard and heavily seasoned. The wraps were drenched with sauce. I couldn't even taste the meat inside because the sauce was overpowering. The fountain drinks were watery. Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

staff is super friendly and location is easy to find. a bunch of tables and chairs so the dining area is decent. i like the gyro wrap more than the chicken tikka masala fries. the fries are good but i cannot keep eating it because everything is so overwhelming. i wish there were more chicken pieces and sauce. read more

Located inside the Victoria gardens food hall by the north covered parking structure on Main Street. A fast one stop shop to please everyone's tastebuds. From the main entrance walk straight back and it'll be to the right side. Friendly service! At the time we were first in line.. after we ordered there were three more people behind us ready to order. The staff was only one person so she was hustling to get orders prepared. Our food didn't take too long. It had a nice flavor to it. Unique spices to biriani very tasty. My meal came with a side salad which added a perfect balance to my dish. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu. Plenty of indoor seating areas for large groups. Would definitely recommend for cheaper eats, on the go or where little ones can have some extra room to roam. read more

I went into the food hall hungry and when I saw this restaurant it looked promising but there was no one staffing this counter. Looks vacant even though product was on the counter. Apparently they don't want the business. Same thing with Elephant Thai next door- a ghost town. read more

The gentleman at the counter also prepared our food. The lamb was tasty as was the masala. The salad dressing and the dipping sauce for the samosas weren't so great. I went back and asked for the tamarind sauce. A little disappointed that it came in a plastic packet. I would have much preferred a vinaigrette on the salad. He was kind enough to hook us up with garlic on our naan bread. Meals are made to order so they do take time. It's in a food court so there's not much to say about the ambience of the place. read more

My wife and I wanted Indian food for dinner. We looked around and discovered Tikka. Glad we did. We truly enjoyed the Beef and Chicken Masala. Salad was flavorful and the Naan bread ) was scrumptious and Samosa was also delicious. The person who took our order was very nice and helpful. This was at Victoria Gardens around 730 pm.If you've never tried Indian food then I recommend you try Tikka. It was just right for me. read more

Located in the food court of Victoria Gardens mall, this spot is a good option for lunch, with delicious food and excellent customer service. However, my one complaint is the portion size of the meat. I ordered fries with meat, but the amount was so minimal it hardly felt like a meat dish. Located in the food court in Victoria Gardens. I really wanted to try their curry fries. When I went, there was only one guy working and he was pretty quick when it came to my order and I saw him finishing someone else's order past the close time! Curry fries 3/5: I really wanted to like this more. The fries itself was so crispy and light but the curry was missing something. It wasn't that flavorful, I look the left over home and added more spices to it. For $10, I think i could get better. read more

Beef gryo - Really yummy! Lamb biryani - Nice amount of spicy, good flavors. However, there was barely ANY lamb. And at $16, that wasn't worth it. Side salad was nice. Chicken tikka bowl - Delicious! I really enjoyed this. Other thoughts: -We often like to get our Asian dishes rice-less and we just use mixed veggies or something from home as a healthier base. Unfortunately, Tikka said they didn't have an option to give the tikka curry without rice. -Yelp says this place has just one $ sign, but of our three dishes, only one was less than $10 (a penny less). We ordered the lamb and beef rice bowl and they are both delicious! It's like a stew with your choice of meat on top of rice. The lamb wasn't tough.. it honestly tasted like beef. The sauces were a bit different for the lamb and the beef. They were both good though. We asked for spicy on the beef and it definitely has a kick! I'd categorize "Tikka" as a resturant with fusion flavors, a hybrid between traditional and "new age" taste. It's not loaded with spices like a lot of traditional Indian / Pakistani restaurants. Rather, each spice seems specifically and intentionally selected to result in unique dishes. All the is to say, if your used to the uncle up the street cooking Indian / Pakistani food you might find this resturant a little underwhelming! I love traditional Indian and Pakistani food BUT fusion food has a SPECIAL place in my heart, especially when it's done right and this place does it right! Chicken Tikka Fries: Delicious! Must have. We come here specially for these! Tikka Bowl: Great flavor. Ask for more sauce or for the chef to make it "more saucy" as it can get dry once you begin to mix the rice in! Chicken Biryani: Yummy! This ones hit or miss, it's got amazing flavors but it isn't "too bold" it's not the best I've had but it's pretty darn good! I enjoy ordering all three of these dishes and eating all three of them together. Mixing foods in my plate is something I RARELY do however in this case the flavors and textures work together deliciously! Gripe: They never have chai on hand and the mango laasi is subpar but that's just because I've had some reaaaally great mango laasi's in my life so the standards a bit high there! I came here randomly after a long day of studying at the library. I was so desperate for food, and this place was a pleasant surprise! I got the chicken tikka fries, it's like carne asada fries, but trust me, this hits different. The chunks of chicken are quite large, so they definitely aren't skimping you. My only complaint is that I had to wait quite some time before someone came out from the back for me to order. I'm not sure if this was an exception, but who knows. For sure I'll never come back. There was not one item that we ordered that was worth the taste &/or price: 1. Chicken Tikka Bowl = rice was raw. 2. Chicken Biryani = rice was raw and hardly any chicken inside 3. Mint Lemonade= no idea what I even drank. It did not taste fresh though 4. Mango Lassi = awful. We threw it away 5. Shrimp Tikka Bowl = shrimp was awful For $60+, this definitely was not worth it. I do feel this is catered towards high school / college students. However, I don't think that even as a college student that I'd come back. read more

In Rancho Cucamonga, we stopped at Victoria Gardens. They had a food hall/market with different eateries. Tikka stood out to me because of their Tikka Masala fries. So frustrated with the service. I called in a take out order. They didn't ask me for my name. I gave them my name. When I arrived to pick up, I'm told that there is no take out order waiting. Further investigation reveals that they gave my order to someone else and I have to wait another 15 minutes for them to remake my order. Grr! read more

This time was completely different. After a few bites, I tasted something so unpleasant that I immediately gagged and had to spit it out. The flavor was extremely strong and unpleasant... honestly, it reminded me of sweaty armpits. It was so bad that I couldn't continue eating it, and the entire container went to waste. Before leaving this review, I called the restaurant because I wanted to give them the opportunity to make it right. At first, I was told they had a new chef. Then I was told it tasted different because it was vegan. When I asked if he was saying the food tasted bad because it was vegan, he initially agreed before quickly backtracking and saying that's not what he meant. He then explained that it tasted different because they had a new chef and were using different ingredients and seasonings. I explained that I've ordered the vegan version multiple times before, so I know how it's was supposed to taste. In fact, this was my fourth time ordering it. The third time I ordered it, the rice had almost no flavor at all... it was basically plain white rice with the vegetables, nuts, and no seasoning. I let that experience go and decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, this fourth order went in the complete opposite direction. Instead of being under-seasoned, the rice had such an unpleasant taste that I couldn't eat it. This wasn't just "different"... something was clearly off. Unfortunately, the customer service was just as disappointing as the food. No one offered to replace the dish, refund it, or even seemed concerned. I mostly received silence and was told they didn't know what to do. When I said I'd have to leave a review since nothing was being done, the response was simply, "Okay." I'm disappointed because I've supported this restaurant several times and expected much better. Every other item I ordered was good, but the rice was inedible, and the lack of customer service made the experience even worse. If you're a regular customer, especially if you order the vegan options, just be aware that the quality may not be as consistent as it used to be. With the restaurant mentioning they have a new chef, you never know who will be preparing your food or how it's going to taste. Hopefully your experience is better than mine, because I ended up with what I can only describe as "funky armpit" rice. I genuinely tried to resolve this directly with the restaurant before posting this review, but unfortunately, they gave me no reason to feel confident about ordering from them again.

I came here to eat while I visited the mall today because I love Mediterranean food, and as a chef it's one of my favorite cuisines to prepare and enjoy. I got the lamb tacos, which is a pita wrap with different lamb, veggies, and sauce inside. The lamb was so gross I couldn't eat much of it. Lamb is a delicacy in my opinion and to serve it the way I had it today is a shame. It was obvious that the lamb is not cooked to order and frozen. Not to mention the service took forever, the cashier stated 10 minutes but it turned into over 20, and I never received an extra side of garlic sauce like I asked for when I placed my order. This is one of my favorite curry places to eat. The chicken masala curry bowl is excellent. The employees are very kind and care alot about their customers. From there mint lemonade and mango lassi which are very surprising in taste when i first had the both of them. My bf and I shared the meal, and it was PLENTY of food for each of us, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken is flavorful and piping hot, and the rice had a nice texture and flavor. The hummus was smooth and had just enough garlic flavor so it wasn't overwhelming. We could eat here every day! The service was excellent, the girl who took our order was helpful and answered our questions about ingredients, and was very friendly. The restaurant itself is clean, welcoming. and comfortable. The music is a little loud, but nothing that bothered me; we could still talk without it being a distraction. We will definitely come back here as one of our regular spots! Keep doing what you're doing, Wow Kabob!

I went with the Koobideh Combo which is a skewer of chicken and beef with rice and chargrilled veggies. It also came with a salad and I ordered some garlic paste, which I believe is their version of toom, on the side. Packaging was immaculate and they even included some packets of sumac, utensils and napkins. I didn't opt to pay extra for them to make the plate spicy, but I kind of wish I had. The food was good, but it was a tad bit bland for my liking. I also didn't care for the garlic paste as it was missing that typical "zing" I'm used to. I noticed myself refraining from using it, and usually, I could eat the stuff plain. I'd definitely be willing to come back and try more of the menu, and perhaps try dining in as well.
