    Pad Thai-------amazing!
    Alizul Z.

Have you eaten rice yet? My favorite Thai saying, it's literally how you ask ,"how are you?" The rice here, the pad Thai, the chicken satay, all fabulous! The curry however: too soupy and watery! I prefer my curry thick, like a thick sauce/gravy basically. We sent it back to be thickened but I think that there was a language barrier because when they brought it back to us, it was still exactly the same, but the lady was smiling so happily that we didn't say anything. It still tasted very good though. The ambience is laid back, not a fancy place. Fake plastic plants on the tables. Hip-hop and other random American music play in the restaurant, not the traditional Thai that I usually hear in Thai restaurants. The place was very crowded and busy, a good sign. I have to say that the shrimp pad Thai was absolutely fantastic. They usually make the pad Thai too dry with not enough sauce and it was very saucy, very yummy. I couldn't stop eating it, and that peanut sauce. ......Oh my God!!! It was so good, we asked for extra peanut sauce twice. Price wise it's not too bad, less than i expected. It was close to $65 for everything.

The 1/2 of the food was good 1/2 was average or could be better. The highlight of our dish was the fried fish. The curry was very thin and soupy. Not what we are used to. Normally, curries are thicker. The fried rice was good. The rest was average. The service was excellent. The ambiance was inviting and clean.

Food was very flavorful. Usually at other places it's either just sweet or just spicy, not too dynamic, but here, you can taste every spice and it was so delicious!! The service was also amazing, very friendly staff as we were greeted by almost every employee and fast service, besides food which was understandable because everything was made fresh. Am 100% coming back

First time I came here and dined in alone. It was a male server and he was very kind and quick. Today, I came in for the second time and we had a female server and she was so sweet! The place was clean... Food came out quickly and it was so good! I got the full portion of chicken pad thai with a side of jasmine rice and the second plate was medium spice chicken fried rice. Definitely coming back for thirds!

Great place to eat with super friendly service and great food! The restaurant is clean and comfortable! Servers are very attentive and will not leave your glass unfilled! Highly recommend, as they hit it out of the park!

    Cashew chicken and Curry

My wife and I have tried a lot of Thai spots around the area and Thippawan Thai Restaurant is easily our favorite. The curry is sweet, spicy, creamy, and just flat out good every single time. The cashew chicken was great too, but the mango sticky rice is honestly what keeps bringing us back. Most places give you a tiny portion like they're rationing mangoes during a national shortage, but this place actually gives you enough to enjoy. Great food, great service, and consistently one of the best meals around.

We recently visited Thippawan Thai Restaurant and had an great dining experience that I can't wait to share. We started with the crispy Calamari, that just sets up your palate for something good to come. The Crispy Fish Fillet served with an apple and cashew sauce. The combination was delightful, as the sweetness of the apple perfectly complemented the crispy texture of the fish. It was a refreshing start to our meal. Next, I indulged in my all-time favorite, the Beef Panang Curry. As always, it did not disappoint! The rich, creamy sauce paired beautifully with the tender beef, creating a comforting dish that I could enjoy time and again. The Seafood Tom Kha was another highlight. If you love the flavors of coconut and lemongrass, this dish is a must-try. It was bursting with flavor and the seafood was fresh and well-prepared, making every spoonful a delight. Lastly, we ordered the Fried Rice, which was cooked to perfection. The rice was fluffy and flavorful, serving as a great accompaniment to our main dishes. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations with their delicious offerings and vibrant flavors.Friendly staff and great customer service, clean restaurant. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine!

This Thai restaurant stands out as the best in town. We always start with an order of Tom Kha Soup to share, and the flavor never disappoints. This soup is a required order every time we dine here. The pineapple Fried Rice is another dish we consistently enjoy. While we sometimes order the Pad Thai, which is delicious, we have recently been opting for the yellow curry, as it is perfectly suited to the colder weather. The spices and flavors are outstanding. We also highly recommend the cashew nut chicken, and their wonton soup is not to be missed. Th servers are always polite and friendly as well. The restaurant is clean and spacious.

Ask the Community - Thippawan Thai Restaurant

    Is it halal food?

I don't think so. I didn't ask but it would be a really good idea if they got their meat from red tomatoes next door and advertised as Halal. They would get more customers. The vegetarian options are really good.

    Do they offer military discount?

I wouldn't think so...it's a small place...with already VERY reasonable prices. You could call and ask, to make certain.

Is the promotion still going on with free drinks?

Yes.99 cent Thai iced tea with an $8 purchase

The restaurant is spacious and my wife and I were seated on a large booth. We ordered an appetizer or beef strips, and two items. Food was delicious with generous portions. The best thing is their tom kha soup, soooo flavorful and filled with lots of chicken and mushrooms, highly recommend. Another great item were their fried chicken wings, very good and crispy and the sauce they give is super tasty. Their pad see ew was also very good, packed with beef and moist. The trout (kinda pricey depending on the seasonal price it was $23) was good as well, the lightness and freshness of their vegetable pickled slaw really cut thru their super crispy oiled fish. The duck was good, but it was super gamey, more than I'd like, the spinach was sautéed nicely tho. The chicken larb was our least favorite, it was way too sweet and just tasted like batter to me, the flavor was just off, we didn't even take home the leftovers. Their Thai coffee was hella sweet, like super sweet, Idk if I would get that again. Their mango sticky rice was $14 and honestly it was just ok, I've had better. Overall the service was quick, the place is clean overall, it does get crowded bc I can see why, the prices are reasonable and there is a lot of options of food. We would come back if we are in the area. Oh and ps just so u know parking is horrible, if u park on a wrong area u will get towed. They warn you multiple times to be careful where u park. It's just not a big enough lot, especially for how popular the place is. So be prepared to fight for a parking spot

It was until the 4th attempt that the waiter took the hint and waited for us to flag him over. He was very patient! As for the food, we ordered the pad see yew and pad kee mao (spicy) which was enough to the both of us to share. The flavor was there for the noodle dishes. One of the appetizers we bought was the crispy onion rings and the fried "shrimp" which was imitation crab. It felt very rubbery in texture and the flavor was not there. Wouldn't recommend it. The onion rings were good though --I liked the batter it was made with. The interior was cozy, there was searing for groups of 4 or 6 comfortably. Definitely a nice little spot for dinner or lunch for all the vegans or vegetarians.
