Food is really flavorful and fresh. It would've gotten 4 stars except for the extra mile service of the girl who did the second step for my toppings! The avocado was hard and she worked at it for a bit and when I told her nvm she got off as much as she could and didn't charge me. It's basically chipotle but Mediterranean. I do really like all the topping options and I'd suggest getting dressing on the side. I didn't get any sauce on top and my sister regretted getting hers. Everything's always so flavorful, it's worth trying it with just the pickled items and hummus and other toppings that add so much flavor! Very crowded inside! Hello- just recently I went to your restaurant and I placed a order and wanted one item on the side just because at the moment I was not going to be eating my food at that moment and wanted it later - and didn't want anything to get soggy - the lady at the register did not want to do it - saying it was policy so I asked for a supervisor - he did come out and told me we do not put things on the side and he told me he would do it for me but never again and I didn't mind a extra charge but he said they will do it this once but never again I'm not understanding why can't I get my things on the side just to avoid soggy food late on. My husband and I had a quick dinner here and we really enjoyed the food. I ordered the steak and harissa bowl with everything on it and added corn. It was so good! The steak was cooked well and I enjoyed the blend of flavors from the sauces, veggies, and feta cheese. We also ordered the pita chips to add some texture to our bowls. To our disappointment, it was literally the pita bread fried. They were also overly seasoned and it wasn't as crunchy as we had hoped. Parts of the "chip" were crunchy and parts were soft. The other thing is that this place is not clean. All the tables were super sticky and we had to clean the tables ourselves to eat. There was one girl (maybe she was the manager?) who was working hard to get our bowls out and getting everything ready for closing. Everyone else didn't take their roles as urgently. First time at Cava! A few friends and I came here after the gym on a Saturday around 12:30 PM. The line was long, but it moved pretty quickly, so don't let it scare you away! It's a Mediterranean, Chipotle-style eatery, and since it was our first time, the staff was super helpful with explaining the menu and guiding us through our orders. I ordered the Steak + Harissa bowl with a few personal touches: Grilled Steak, Crazy Feta®, Red Pepper Hummus, Tomato + Onion, Cucumber, Feta, Cabbage Slaw, and Greens with Harissa Vinaigrette. I substituted white rice for brown and added Feta cheese and lemon herb Tahini. It was delicious and well worth the visit! Note that there's an extra charge for certain proteins; steak and others cost $3.79 extra, while regular grilled chicken, falafel, or grilled vegetables are included. Before ordering, I downloaded the Cava app to start earning points for discounts on future meals, which is a nice perk. There was plenty of seating, both inside and outside. I just got a cup for water, but they offer a variety of interesting soft drinks, teas, and lemonades. Customer service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was clean, though we did wipe our table down ourselves since it was busy. My only issue this time is Cava at this location has been out of one or two things lately like meat or pita options, or their food quality is off. For instance, I ordered a bowl with lentils and they looked unusually dry. The two ladies reassured me by bringing me a batch of brand new lentils on the side, in case the initial one they gave me some tastes good, which was very nice of them. When I ate it home. The lentils were HARD. Wouldn't surprise me if they were raw because I've never had near solid lentils, it was very unusual. This review is based on cleanliness. We came on Sunday 4/4/2025 around 1 pm and the tables, chairs, and bathrooms were filthy. The tables are filthier than a public park bench- the photo attached shows the table after I wiped it down with a wet towel. All the tables around us looked the same. The bathroom was also disgusting. Although we like the food here, it was hard to eat today looking at the dirt around me. You can build your own bowl or pita, I choose to build my own bowl with lentils, brown rice and arugula, traditional hummus, crazy feta and tzatziki, roasted veggies and falafel as the protein, they were out of a lot of stuff but the tomato and cucumber, fiery broccoli and cabbage slaw were a good combo. Topped off the bowl with garlic dressing and skhug sauce. The order comes with a slice to warm pita, you can add the pita chips and drink for $6. Their cucumber mint lime was so good but not sweet. This is the second time I have been to Cava, the first time was in Chino Hills, and I have to say there is a difference in the locations. Food is exactly the same, but the environment, at least in this location is quite dirty. The tables are all dirty , trash on the floor, bathroom out of towels. I hope it isn't just that The Chino Hills Location is newer. Either or that was one of the first disappointments. After wiping down the table with my own sanitizing wipes we were able to go through the queue to order our food. Food I would say is quite the same, but I think it is the proportions or how the people out the food in. Don't get me wrong, the workers seem to be nice, but for example, there was a lot of toppings but barely any rice and vege base. The drink section some of the milk and chocolates were knocked over to a side. The kids meal we had, they just put everything into the pita w the sauce on top, while the other location asked me if I wanted it on the side. Just little things like that, that changed the experience for me and my family. It is a small store, but could fit small groups of people for dine in. Recommend doing a build your own bowl, because that's my go to and I enjoy customizing my meal with things I like. Also, they include a free pita bread on the side. It has healthy food because they include vegan options and protein rice called right rice as examples. Price is reasonable around $13 and it is good enough for me for 2 meals, but for some it is just right for one meal. There was a long line to order your food here too. My friend and I ordered the Build Your Own Bowl. You can choose the type of grains, veggies, meats, toppings, and dressings for it. I ordered half chicken and half falafel with super greens, various toppings, and a garlic dressing. It was delicious! I was here for their pre-grand opening last summer but haven't really been back until I was able to convince my husband to try it. He's been asking for healthier options but was under the impression that their bowls were so small and wouldn't fill him up. We ordered from their set menu (Harissa Avocado and Greek Salad) and my husband makes a couple alterations to his. Some of their menu items are just okay. We enjoyed them and the next thing you know he wanted to come again. The next time we got another bowl from their menu Chicken+RightRice. The first two times we ordered in person. Depending on who is in front of you, it can be a slow process as people can be indecisive. So it's become a thing now where my husband asks if I want Cava for dinner during the week days. The next three times I've ordered on the app and he will pick it up on the way home from work. We finally got it down now and order custom Greens + Grains bowls and the toppings to our liking . The bowls are yummy and actually very filling. Now I'll order from the app and we go there to pick up and will eat on their outdoor patio which is also dog friendly by the way. On average for two bowls, I'll spend about $27-$28 (no drinks) which isn't too bad considering we're spending over $40 for two people these days at other places with inflation. Sometimes the garbage outside is overflowing and they need to wipe down the drink station and tables more often so they may be short-staffed but overall we've received friendly service. read more

My experience is based on a pickup order, so it's a little limited. The employees aren't overly welcoming, but they're nice enough. From what I can tell, they do move through the line pretty quickly. They were busy, but the online orders were still prepared on time. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Restrooms are available. Parking is not an issue thanks to the large shared lot with Seafood City. They offer a wide variety of options, so I believe most diets will be able to find something here. The food is pretty tasty; although, I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had. The sauces do a lot of the heavy lifting. Their drinks are very subtle in flavor, but I prefer that. Prices are fair, more so if you order in person - the in-person orders were packed with much more food than the online orders. Give them a try if you're in the area or want an alternative to chipotle. read more
