My husband and I had a quick dinner here and we really enjoyed the food. I ordered the steak and harissa bowl with everything on it and added corn. It was so good! The steak was cooked well and I enjoyed the blend of flavors from the sauces, veggies, and feta cheese. We also ordered the pita chips to add some texture to our bowls. To our disappointment, it was literally the pita bread fried. They were also overly seasoned and it wasn't as crunchy as we had hoped. Parts of the "chip" were crunchy and parts were soft. The other thing is that this place is not clean. All the tables were super sticky and we had to clean the tables ourselves to eat. There was one girl (maybe she was the manager?) who was working hard to get our bowls out and getting everything ready for closing. Everyone else didn't take their roles as urgently. The soda machine was also not working for the "Mexicane cola." They did give us a coca-cola bottle without charge to help us with the inconvenience. read more

Food was great! Ambience? Been eating at this since back on east coast when it was this quaint hole in the wall in Gaithersburg, MD. Now, as a Chipotle style eatery, not so much. read more

We've been coming here for years and have never had the experience we had today (7/9/2026). Everyone was RUDE and gave the feeling they'd rather be anywhere but there. The woman who started our bowls finished with the person in front of us and went to whisper and gossip with the gentleman preparing food....my husband and I were just standing there waiting for someone to help us.... Like what??? Then when we were ordering they just seemed bothered with every little thing we asked for. And to top it off the soda machine had no ice.... And all the sodas were out.... CAVA you need to look at who was on the schedule today and seriously have a conversation. This is the closest CAVA to me, I literally drove 30 minutes to have a CHIPOTLE experience. Very disappointing. Will most likely never come back here and I'm really sad about it because I used to LOVE it. Oh! Anddd my pita chips WERE BURNT!! Ughhhhh!!! read more

There bowls are delicious. Customer service at Rancho Cucamonga is zero stars. Chunky/heavy girl who helped me was very rude terrible energy and was rushing me I even asked her a question and she shined me on until I had to tell her to slow down cause I don't play that little kid stuff. I'll stick with Azuza location. Boss man/lady please retrain these employees or have them take notes at Azuza location. read more

CAVA - Build your own, double chicken with EVERYTHING. - Mediterranean Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

This location is not what it used to be. The food is very good, however from the first time I started eating here a few year a ago till now, the portion sizes are so very stingy! You pay almost $20 for a bowl and they give you so little protein. They kept messing up my orders through Doordash, which I always reports with pictures for proof, so I decided to start going into the store and thought that would help but no! The workers and so unfriendly and rude! Its been the absolute worst experience I've encountered. I dont know if this is just poor management or what. Their food station looked a complete mess and out of a bunch of stuff out so we ended up have to wait a bit for them to prep and restock. Seems like the workers are not happy. Not to mention there's a girl there working who has long disgusting nails. Back in the day, long nails were not allowed in food service. Not sure what changed or what is going on with this location. I don't think I'll be back again sadly. read more

The portions keep getting smaller and smaller but the price keep getting higher. A long break from this place

Every time I've been to Cava, I've had a pretty good experience. The food is fresh and the service is great. It's pretty casual and has a very simplistic feeling atmosphere. There are a lot of items to choose from, which makes building your bowl pretty fun. The way you order reminds me of going to chipotle, but WAY BETTER. My only gripe would be the cleanliness of the tables. Unfortunately, they were a bit sticky, next time I think I'd rather take my food to go. But overall, Cava is a great choice and I will be back! read more

Ordered a bowl and selected only vegan options plus specified vegan at the end of my order only to receive a bowl with chicken. When the branch was contacted, only a remake was offered AND only if I can pick up. I wasted my lunch ordering and picking an order made incorrectly on THEIR part and remaking is their solution?? According to them, they were unable to refund. NEVER going back again and would not recommend to anyone, not even an enemy. read more

First time at Cava! A few friends and I came here after the gym on a Saturday around 12:30 PM. The line was long, but it moved pretty quickly, so don't let it scare you away! It's a Mediterranean, Chipotle-style eatery, and since it was our first time, the staff was super helpful with explaining the menu and guiding us through our orders. I ordered the Steak + Harissa bowl with a few personal touches: Grilled Steak, Crazy Feta®, Red Pepper Hummus, Tomato + Onion, Cucumber, Feta, Cabbage Slaw, and Greens with Harissa Vinaigrette. I substituted white rice for brown and added Feta cheese and lemon herb Tahini. It was delicious and well worth the visit! Note that there's an extra charge for certain proteins; steak and others cost $3.79 extra, while regular grilled chicken, falafel, or grilled vegetables are included. Before ordering, I downloaded the Cava app to start earning points for discounts on future meals, which is a nice perk. There was plenty of seating, both inside and outside. I just got a cup for water, but they offer a variety of interesting soft drinks, teas, and lemonades. Customer service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was clean, though we did wipe our table down ourselves since it was busy. Parking was easy since it's located in the same shopping center as Aldi, Barnes & Noble, Seafood City, Daiso, and Juice It Up, right off Foothill Blvd. Overall, a great spot with fresh flavors and good vibes--I'll definitely be back! My first time at Cava was a great experience. My son took me there after a workout. The staff were helpful. The dining room was clean and a quiet music played in the background. I had the glazed salmon bowl and it was great. I like the citrus dressing and the eggplant salad (babaganoush). Lots of choices to fill your bowl. My son is vegan and Cava fits his needs. read more

Amaya and Kylie are by far and away the kindest people I've seen work there and they go out of their way to make sure we're taken care of. That's saying a lot because they're all friendly. My only issue this time is Cava at this location has been out of one or two things lately like meat or pita options, or their food quality is off. For instance, I ordered a bowl with lentils and they looked unusually dry. The two ladies reassured me by bringing me a batch of brand new lentils on the side, in case the initial one they gave me some tastes good, which was very nice of them. When I ate it home. The lentils were HARD. Wouldn't surprise me if they were raw because I've never had near solid lentils, it was very unusual. This was a Monday early evening order, so it wasn't the fact I arrived near closing. If they just addressed their food issues they'd get better rating for me because their front staff is graciously pleasant. read more

This review is based on cleanliness. We came on Sunday 4/4/2025 around 1 pm and the tables, chairs, and bathrooms were filthy. The tables are filthier than a public park bench- the photo attached shows the table after I wiped it down with a wet towel. All the tables around us looked the same. The bathroom was also disgusting. Although we like the food here, it was hard to eat today looking at the dirt around me. It scares me to think of what the kitchen looks like if the rest of the restaurant is so dirty. read more

CAVA - Very dirty tables - Mediterranean Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

The food was great, but unfortunately the service and cleanliness were not. The staff was not friendly, and the long wooden seats were extremely dirty & sticky, with thick dirt buildup. It didn't appear that they are cleaned regularly. They were also out of ice. I informed the staff, but no one addressed it. I sat down and finished my meal, and only after I was done did they finally put ice in the machine. Due to the poor cleanliness and lack of attentiveness, I'm giving this location 2 stars and will not be returning. read more

Great service and good food. Thank you for being amazing in the community. You are awesome

Good food....terrible service. I go to this establishment once a week and the last two times I've received terrible service from Laura. When I tell her what I want in my bowl, she proceeds to help the person behind me, instead of finishing my bowl, then comes back to me. Very strange behavior! read more

The service here depends on who is running the show. Last night however, pissed me off. They gave a good helping to the person in front of me, when they got to me, I asked for half and half. They put a half scoop of chicken, pushed it forward, then told me they dont do half and half and thats a full scoop. Then they started pressing me on toppings and pushing double to make up for the small amount of chicken then started helping someone else. Why have a build your own bowl if you're going to skimp and dictate what I want anyway? It wasnt that busy, and I ended up leaving hungry. They gave me a half empty bowl because they wanted to push me through, and they refused to let me add anything on, I was willing to pay extra, and because the bowl had moved on I was not allowed to add anything on anymore. Worse is the chicken was dry as hell. My friend got the salmon and she said it was bad, dry and really fishy like it had been out too long and she couldnt finish her bowl. This location is terrible and managed like shit. Prior visits were decent, but it looks like a new team, probably fired the old team because they actually got orders right and didnt hide behind bullshit rules. But I will be real, its probably coming down from corporate to cheap out too. If that's the case I wonder when this gets replaced by a better restaurant. read more

I've been coming to this establishment for years, which is why I feel comfortable giving honest feedback. Drea takes her job way too seriously and has a very rude demeanor. I've witnessed her talking back to coworkers and being disrespectful to the people she's supposed to be working with. She always seems irritated and brings a negative energy to the workplace. If you're 28 years old working in fast food, there's no reason to be miserable and take everything so personally. At the end of the day, you're JUST a team member not manager lol and part of the job is treating people with respect. As a longtime customer, it's frustrating to see someone constantly making the environment uncomfortable for both coworkers and customers. read more

This is the second time I have been to Cava, the first time was in Chino Hills, and I have to say there is a difference in the locations. Food is exactly the same, but the environment, at least in this location is quite dirty. The tables are all dirty , trash on the floor, bathroom out of towels. I hope it isn't just that The Chino Hills Location is newer. Either or that was one of the first disappointments. After wiping down the table with my own sanitizing wipes we were able to go through the queue to order our food. Food I would say is quite the same, but I think it is the proportions or how the people out the food in. Don't get me wrong, the workers seem to be nice, but for example, there was a lot of toppings but barely any rice and vege base. The drink section some of the milk and chocolates were knocked over to a side. The kids meal we had, they just put everything into the pita w the sauce on top, while the other location asked me if I wanted it on the side. Just little things like that, that changed the experience for me and my family. I believe the food is still good, and enjoy this style of food, but most likely will go to another one of Cava locations. read more

This place was recommended to me by my coworker because she knew I like Mediterranean food. This place is like Chipotle but with Mediterranean choices so more delightful veggies option. It is located inside a plaza so there is plenty of parking available, except it might be hard during the lunch rush since a lot of people enjoys this place. It is a small store, but could fit small groups of people for dine in. Recommend doing a build your own bowl, because that's my go to and I enjoy customizing my meal with things I like. Also, they include a free pita bread on the side. It has healthy food because they include vegan options and protein rice called right rice as examples. Price is reasonable around $13 and it is good enough for me for 2 meals, but for some it is just right for one meal. Service moves pretty quick and the wait isn't too long, but recommend coming before 11:30am and after 1pm if you want to avoid a long line of people. read more

The worst customer service! I love cava and the one in Rialto is my go to. I was in the neighborhood and wanted to surprise my daughter with Cava after work. Big mistake. The young girl was in a mood and the portions for the rice and veggies were skimpy. Not the Harissa Chicken itself but the sides. I will not be going there again. I felt like I was bothering them with my requests and when requesting the pita she rudely handed it to me as if it was costing her to make it. Btw they no longer give you the pita with your bowl the girl stated you have to request it. read more

Restaurant was busy but clean. It was my first time but they had a lot of really familiar items. You can build your own bowl or pita, I choose to build my own bowl with lentils, brown rice and arugula, traditional hummus, crazy feta and tzatziki, roasted veggies and falafel as the protein, they were out of a lot of stuff but the tomato and cucumber, fiery broccoli and cabbage slaw were a good combo. Topped off the bowl with garlic dressing and skhug sauce. The order comes with a slice to warm pita, you can add the pita chips and drink for $6. Their cucumber mint lime was so good but not sweet. Service was fast and friendly. read more

Not a fan of the food. Tried it because I was wanting "Greek" food. The only thing Greek is the hummus and feta. It's literally chipotle with feta cheese. I personally did not like it. Aside from that, I ordered online and my order was 30 min late from the "pickup time." I heard so many good things about it so it was extremely disappointing. I won't be back. read more

Three reason why to come to CAVA in Rancho Cucamonga. 1. Service is 10/10 (DEZ!!!) 2. Quality is chef kiss 3. It's a vibe This girl DEZ is very demure very cutsy and very mature. I LOVE the Lemon Herb Tahini...too bad they NEVER HAVE IT! Every, and I mean EVERY time I visited this location in Rancho they're out of it! Don't understand why they don't make enough when it's one of the most popular?!? Additionally, the food prep area is ALWAYS TORE UP FROM THE FLOOR UP...literally . Management should always make sure their staff is constantly clearing and cleaning the prep area...and making enough LEMON HERB TAHINI DRESSING! With that said, the staff are always very friendly & working very hard (the often disheveled look gives it away) even when it's been crazy busy, which is always. Management definitely needs to be more involved with helping out with cleaning & prepping given how busy it gets...ESPECIALLY knowing how much food and salad DRESSINGS (hint: lemon herb tahini) need to be prepared for that day ‍ read more

For the first time being here, I'd say the experience was mid, and maybe that's because I had higher expectations based on two referrals. The main detractors are the food temperature and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The drink fountain section was a mess. Regarding flavor, it was above average, and the distinct flavors were definitely present. I'll be traveling again for work, and I know there's a location in Denver, so I look forward to trying it again. Service is okay. Music was louder than it was comfortably listening to in line. It reminded me of standing at a club right next to the speaker. I didn't expect tinnitus to be part of the dining experience. I had a good time hanging out with my nephew though, so there's that! read more

I love Cava! They have a rewards program where you can obtain points for your purchases and redeem them for perks. It's worth checking out if you come here often. They have a curated menu, or you can build your own bowl or pita. Please note that the pita bread is available only on request now. I asked for the pita, but they forgot to put it in my bag when I checked out. I was in a rush and didn't bother checking my bag. Note to self: always check the bag! read more

I love Cava but I HATE this location. They constantly mess up pick up orders or the food is never ready at the time of pick up. However, the most noticeable issue here is that the store is disgustingly dirty. Food everywhere, things on the floor, odor, employees look unkept. I don't know what it is about this store, but it needs a new leadership team as there are many opportunities. *As I submitted my review, I also read a few others that confirm how dirty this location is. Not only that, the employees sweep tables with the same broom they just used for the filthy floors?! You won't ever see me back here again. It's even worse than I thought. I'm utterly disgusted. read more

While I was placing my order, the gal that was feeling my bowl got interrupted twice, when I had just explained to her I've only been there once before, and everyone was rude, and bothered by questions. Some bowls had scoops and scoops of items, while I was only given one scoop of each. We were shopping at Ontario Mills and were searching on Yelp for a healthy place to eat nearby. Originally we wanted to go to Soup 'N Fresh, but there was a ridiculously long line so came here instead. This place is like the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. There was a long line to order your food here too. My friend and I ordered the Build Your Own Bowl. You can choose the type of grains, veggies, meats, toppings, and dressings for it. I ordered half chicken and half falafel with super greens, various toppings, and a garlic dressing. It was delicious! At first, I was hesitant to try this place, but after eating the food it changed my perspective. I like this place way more than Chipotle. Will definitely check out their other locations. read more

I was here for their pre-grand opening last summer but haven't really been back until I was able to convince my husband to try it. He's been asking for healthier options but was under the impression that their bowls were so small and wouldn't fill him up. They open at 10:45am which is an odd time lol but I came here with him on a Saturday right when they opened. We ordered from their set menu (Harissa Avocado and Greek Salad) and my husband makes a couple alterations to his. Some of their menu items are just okay. We enjoyed them and the next thing you know he wanted to come again. The next time we got another bowl from their menu Chicken+RightRice. The first two times we ordered in person. Depending on who is in front of you, it can be a slow process as people can be indecisive. So it's become a thing now where my husband asks if I want Cava for dinner during the week days. The next three times I've ordered on the app and he will pick it up on the way home from work. We finally got it down now and order custom Greens + Grains bowls and the toppings to our liking . The bowls are yummy and actually very filling. Now I'll order from the app and we go there to pick up and will eat on their outdoor patio which is also dog friendly by the way. On average for two bowls, I'll spend about $27-$28 (no drinks) which isn't too bad considering we're spending over $40 for two people these days at other places with inflation. Sometimes the garbage outside is overflowing and they need to wipe down the drink station and tables more often so they may be short-staffed but overall we've received friendly service. read more

My experience is based on a pickup order, so it's a little limited. The employees aren't overly welcoming, but they're nice enough. From what I can tell, they do move through the line pretty quickly. They were busy, but the online orders were still prepared on time. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Restrooms are available. Parking is not an issue thanks to the large shared lot with Seafood City. They offer a wide variety of options, so I believe most diets will be able to find something here. The food is pretty tasty; although, I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had. The sauces do a lot of the heavy lifting. Their drinks are very subtle in flavor, but I prefer that. Prices are fair, more so if you order in person - the in-person orders were packed with much more food than the online orders. Give them a try if you're in the area or want an alternative to chipotle. read more
