My first time trying cava was a great experience. The team was very helpful especially Chris, she made it very easy and suggested great options. 10/10 would recommend. read more

This was honestly one of the pettiest customer service experiences I've ever had. Three staff members were involved, and the behavior was unbelievable. One of them was named Jo and the other one was wearing a blue bandanna, they were giving me constant attitude rolling their eyes, making faces at each other every time I asked a simple question, and acting like I was inconveniencing them just by ordering. The bowl they put together looked exactly like the effort they put in: sloppy and careless. Another staff member named Drea gave even more attitude when I asked for a pita. She practically tossed it at me and then stomped off. It was so unnecessary and so unprofessional that I was honestly shocked. The entire interaction was uncomfortable, dramatic, and way too extra for a place where I'm literally just trying to grab food. Management really needs to address what's going on, because the attitude from these employees overshadows everything. read more

Food was fine but, Bella had an attitude not exactly sure what her problem was because we hadn't yet interacted with her since she was at the register but yeah. Hopefully management looks into that because there's no reason to have an attitude with customers you have yet to even help. read more

Came back again this time and decided to try the Sweet & Spicy Chicken Pita and wowzas! Really good but really spicy. I won't lie the first several bites tasted sweet & spicy and I was madly in the love with the mix of flavors. But the more I ate the spicier my mouth became! Aye yay yay. It was extremely filling and packed to the brim with yummy spicy goodness and very messy! Best not to eat in the car like I did! read more

I'm giving this location one star only because of the service for this specific night and location. Love CAVA and go all the time in the LA area. We had a group of 6 that came in an hour before closing and were treated as if it was 5mins till closing. Half the toppings and ingredients were either packed away already or they were "out". Another employee actually corrected one saying they weren't "out" until later. We had guests that had never been to a CAVA before and were visiting from out of the country, so explaining the menu and ordering was important to show them. The constant eyeing, snickering, and whispering from the employees especially towards our guests who didn't speak English made this whole experience really bad, uncomfortable, and unprofessional. Thankfully about 4-5 other guests had came in and out throughout this hour we were there to really emphasize the fact they weren't closed and needed to have food available. The cherry on top was when we packed up to leave, the male employee running the counter said " HAVE A GOOD NIGHT COME AGAIN!" with a huge eye roll and laugh to the other employee. Saw it as we walked out. read more

The past three consecutive visits (minimum) at the Rancho Cucamonga location have been less than satisfactory. The $17 Harissa Avocado (and other) bowls are falsely advertised on Cava's website and are half filled. The "free" pita bread is often missing. The drink for the Kids meal was missing twice (and would've been a 3rd time, but my husband insisted they look at the incoming order to confirm what we already KNEW..and paid for). Additionally, this location has become grossly unkept. The service, food quality, and especially the QUANTITY, is NOT consistent with the prices charged. read more

This review isn't about the food but the lack of professionalism at this location. When I walked in, the staff stayed focused on their own conversations instead of the customer. The shift lead had to track down the person who was supposed to make my food, and another employee loudly said, "She's in the bathroom." Not something a customer should hear. They pulled someone from the kitchen to help, but he rushed me through my order, tried to add ingredients without asking, and even dropped an entire set of containers while hurrying. To make it worse, he made a flirtatious comment to a coworker right in front of customers. The whole staff seemed frantic and distracted. CAVA is a great brand, but this location needs serious improvement in training and professionalism. read more

I actually don't know why this CAVA location has bad customer service reviews. I've been here twice and each time was about 3 weeks from each other, but I've had a lot of attentive and great staff taking my orders. All I can say is that I went for dinner both times, but the service has been excellent and they have been very helpful with explanations and recommendations. The interior has a lot of room and is very clean, with plenty of space to sit down for a meal. My friend and I were ordering and built our own bowls with some very delicious greens, rice, chicken, and roasted egg plants. There are so many different ingredients and options that you can choose from, which makes each visit a different experience! I love the healthy options for the carbs, protein, and there are a lot of toppings and dressings to choose from, which are all tasty and healthy as well. read more

The food is consistently good where everything is fresh, I keep coming back because of that. That said, I'm really disappointed with the service, especially when it comes to online orders. During busy hours (especially dinner time), things get completely backed up. Lines are long, online orders are delayed, and the whole process just feels chaotic. Honestly, it might be worth closing or limiting online orders during peak hours to help the staff manage the in-store demand better. It's frustrating to wait in line only to see the crew overwhelmed trying to fulfill both walk-ins and a flood of digital orders. Hopefully, management steps in soon to figure out a better system. The food is great and it deserves a smoother experience to match. read more

CAVA - Waited 30 minutes for my online order to be complete. No red pepper hummus and no pitta crisps. - Mediterranean Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

I always come here after work, but the past 2-3 times I was served by this tall male worker with longer orange colored hair & piercings & every time I have came there, he is super rude towards me & speaks in a derogatory tone, talking to me like I'm stupid. I work in food + customer service as well, & that is NOT the way to speak to a guest. He needs a retraining session because I know for a fact he has some issues on not speaking politely to guests. For example, I would ask for certain sauces & would say, "May I have the green one?" & He would reply, "The names are on there." Another time I was pointing to the food items I wanted & he said in a rude tone, "Don't put your hand there," acting as if I was putting my hand way over the glass & contaminating the food -- which I was not. Rudest worker I have ever encountered. Everyone else was super friendly. He should not be working there. He definitely has something against me with how he was speaking towards me. I let the first time go, but the 2nd time, I am not letting it go. read more

I finally tried this place out after hearing all the hype about it. Briana and Jake were super friendly and helpful and made my experience great! It can be a little overwhelming for a newcomer because there are so many fresh options and combinations. I went with a curated chicken and rice bowl to simplify things. Fantastic. The chicken was fresh and flavorful. the hummus, Greek yogurt dressing, tomatoes and feta made an incredibly flavorful combination! The rice was a tad mushy for my taste, but perhaps thats how its supposed to be! Don't forget to try the pita chips, they are fantastic! read more

Awesome service and good food. Everyone is nice here and treat you with kindness and respect

Bad service, all the workers seemed annoyed when ordering & even said they might run out of an item, told us it was enough and a full portion even though it seemed like a scoop of leftovers. The meats were all bland even after covered in sauce and for the price of almost $20 a bowl, it's definitely not worth it. The line was almost out the door since they prioritize takeout orders. Today's 5/20/25- management should train their employees better to be somewhat welcoming to compensate for the bad flavor of food. read more

This was my first time coming here to eat. I like Mediterranean food, so options of rice and salad together were great!! Not pet friendly! Online it states "pets welcomed" unfortunately that's not the case. They asked for me to stand with my dog outside and how am I supposed to order my food when I'm standing outside with my dog? Mind you she is a small dog and we were ordering "to-go". There was also another person outside "eating" with their dog, so I'm wondering how their situation went because clearly she was able to order her food. Staff is very unfriendly! read more

I absolutely love their food, however I have to agree with other reviewers. I've never received an accurate pick up order...typically missing multiple items which is a huge disappointment. It doesn't seem like a mistake anymore. And staff do not make you feel welcome, more so rushed and uncomfortable, especially for my 10 year old as she was trying to order. read more

I love Cava but I don't think I'll be returning to this location. EVERY single time I've been here, the staff has been rude. If it was a one-time thing I wouldn't be writing this review. I get it, when it's busy it can be stressful, but that doesn't mean you can be rude. The staff are impatient and rush you when you're choosing what you want. Employees were standing there having unrelated conversations while customers were standing there waiting. At the register I asked the girl if the bowl still comes with pita bread and she literally rolled her eyes and then said she would go get me one. The line was a complete mess, none of the employees were wiping down the area. The toppings were cross-contaminated with other toppings. The price of the food is not worth the attitude from the staff. If I'm paying high prices, I expect decent service. read more

Usually I'd give cava a 5 star rating but the only thing that I didn't like here was that the rice was old and hard, it felt like Little Rock's everytime I'd chew on it. Other than that customer service is good, the place and well maintained and clean and pricing is decent. read more

Overall the food was good. The portion is a little expensive for what you get when you choose multiple meats that have an up charge. They could give you more meat for the price. I paid $46 for two bowls, 2 drinks, and a side of pita chips. In my opinion, the grilled meats are better. I chose braised lamb and it was bland in my opinion but the lamb meatballs were packed with flavor. Because the place is so busy right now the tables were dirty and hadn't been cleaned in a while. Definitely try their teas and in house drinks. They were amazing! I forgot to take a picture of my bowl. This place is definitely a hype right now so hard to say how well it will do over time. read more

CAVA - Cucumber Mint drink - Mediterranean Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

This place was extremely busy and notably the food and selection very enticing. I ordered the chicken pita wrap. It was actually very appetizing. My unhappiness is really with staff member who prepared the items you want behind the serving line. We were trying to tell her what our selection was and she either was not able to hear us or to understand what we wanted. We pointed to the item we wanted by reaching over the glass partition and she immediately told us not to go over the glass. I find this to be very rude and in fact I observed this employee wearing gloves and touching her uniform. Definitely a cross contamination issue. So why am I mentioning this? I really was confused. We did the best we could communicating our selection and realizing she wasn't able to hear or understand we did the most sensical thing in our mind. So rude and unwarranted her comment. She needs to be trained about truly significant cross contamination issues. And customer relations to make us not feel like a criminal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the food. But her lack of customer services is definitely a problem. read more

Granted that I only go through the digital drive pick up. This place is pretty spot on with the orders. They have only gotten my order wrong once unlike other places. I was able to make it to this location 30 minutes before closing and there were still people at tables and a good amount of food left! It's clean and bright inside. The food was still yummy and fresh. Some of the workers were also pretty nice. I believe the bowl portions were also good. read more

CAVA - Bowl - Mediterranean Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

I usually love CAVA, but this location really missed the mark during my recent visit. I placed an online order for two bowls--one veggie and one chicken--but both came with chicken. Both bowls were also missing the pita, even though it was included. One bowl was supposed to have dressing both in the bowl and on the side; only the dressing on the side was in the bag. I also checked that I wanted utensils, and none were included. When I called to speak with a manager, I spoke to someone named Lyric who said she was in charge. I explained the issues, and her response was, "we're all human and forget things." That kind of dismissive attitude was frustrating. After I said that wasn't the response I expected, she finally offered a refund, but the lack of accountability was already disappointing. To top it off, when I picked up my online order, I also ordered an additional bowl in-store. I saw the team member move a pita down the line while preparing the bowl. I also ordered Harissa pitas at the register. When I noticed the original pita wasn't included in the bag, I politely asked for it--and the employee responded with, "you have to ask next time." That comment came off as rude and unnecessary. If it was part of the order, it should have just been added. Overall, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope this location takes some time to improve both its order accuracy and its customer service. I'd love to come back, but not if this is the norm. read more

Food was good, however the atmosphere and attitude the employees had was so disappointing, Is my money not green? I understand my size is a concern for others but to constantly go to places and be overlooked like I was last night was a flipping JOKE! There was a lady that was avoiding us at all cost and any time she looked in our direction it was as she ate a shit sandwiches. And wanted us to know or we smelled as if we were picking from the cotton fields all day. I'm trying really hard to not be sad and hate the world for harboring such hate. I actually felt horrible for the family behind me because I had said oh cool I'm not here. I was quite embarrassed as well. We sat there to eat and unfortunately the bench was so nasty it was black from all the sticky fingers and hands. I didn't dare look at the chairs. I also notice there was papers or trash scattered. If that's the main floor what is the state of the bathroom or better yet the prep kitchen where the naked eye can not see. I'm sorry as a first impression I was sadly disappointed. read more

My first experience at this location was thru delivery and they messed but my order. They compensated with a free bowl. My next visit at this location, they ran out of chicken (?) so I left. My official in-store visit made up for all of it. Customer service was on point. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The assembly line moved kinda slow but acceptable since this location is fairly new. The food is very good. I suggest you put all your sauces/dips on the side bc your bowl will end up tasting like a big bowl of cold dip (unless that's your thing). Make sure to order a side of pita chips. They're so good. I like their selection of drinks too. Also, I find it very odd that the assembly line is dark while the rest of the restaurant is brightly lit. read more

Usually when I come here, the service is quick enough. There's nothing workers can do about the length of the line, so I won't ever say anything about that. However, I will note that the workers don't really seem welcoming. Today, I ordered online because I had just gotten off work and wanted to fix my craving. I show up a few minutes after it said my order was ready, there is one girl helping the couple at the register, but there are three other girls just standing there. Two of them were talking to each other and it seemed like the other one was finishing up other online orders, not in any rush. I waited for several minutes before the girl doing the online orders, without even greeting me by the way, asked what my name was for the order. She then handed me the bag, and I politely asked if I could get a pita that I had also ordered, and without a word, she reached into a bowl and dropped it in my bag and then walked away. No "thank you", no asking if I needed anything else, not even a smile or a "hello." My order reflects the service I got as well. Pita crisps are soggy and the bowl isn't even warm. read more

I'm sorry but I spent $46 dollars on this order. Yes, I understand that well over 1/3 of the price is from delivery fees. Agree with many many others. No cleanliness standards here and seems like ownership simply doesn't exist. Frig for drinks- not working so everything was warm. Juices empty. Tables dirty.
