I'm writing to share my recent experience, as I was very disappointed with both the service and the quality of my order. Alyssa has some of the worst customer experience I have experienced at this restaurant. When I placed my order, I was quoted a 30-minute wait time. My husband arrived for pickup and waited over an hour. When I called to check on the status, I was then told it would be an additional 25 minutes due to the kitchen being short-staffed and chefs working overtime. They had t even started my order. While I understand staffing challenges happen, the wait time communicated to customers should be accurate so we can plan accordingly. In total, we waited about an hour and a half. Unfortunately, the issues did not stop there. I had requested extra garlic butter cooked with my order, but instead received an entire cup of cold butter rather than it being prepared as requested on the food. And I was charged for cold butter with garlic I couldn't eat. Additionally, the vegetables that were supposed to come with the meal were completely missing, and two of the steaks were overcooked. When I called back to resolve the situation, I was told I would need to bring all of the food back in order to receive a refund for the missing vegetables. This was frustrating, especially after the extended wait time and the fact that staff had already acknowledged the vegetables were missing while I was on the phone before I even said what the issues were. I was hoping for a more customer-focused resolution. But instead Alyssa turned it into a me problem. I also expressed concern about the overcooked steaks and was told that the restaurant's steaks are "always well done," which contradicts past experiences and the fact that doneness levels are typically confirmed when ordering. To make matters more disappointing, when I asked to speak with an owner or request contact information for further assistance, I was told that Alyssa was in charge, that the owners are never there, and that no contact information could be provided and they are never there nor do they ever come in. The call then ended abruptly because she needed to take other orders. I understand that busy nights and staffing shortages can happen, but the lack of accountability, communication, and problem-solving in this situation was extremely frustrating. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers do not have a similar experience. This is not the first time I had had an issue with Alyssa. Seriously tired of dealing with her and this restaurant. She really should be trained to time orders vs making up times and excuses. For the owners never being there you can really tell from their staff. I would never let someone with that level of customer service run my restaurant. I usually eat at home due to restaurant looking unappealing presence and lack of ac but honestly will not return. Save your money and go to Shogun! read more

I always liked D Grill Boy, I come here on a regular basis because i enjoy the food. I always order the steak, chicken , and shrimp it always comes out good, however the front service lacks. I don't know if the manager never tells the front girls anything, but there's this girl who works and her boyfriend visits her but never respects that she's working. She's also using her phone but never washes her hands when i ask for something, or attending customers. It's a good restaurant the food is good, i have nothing to say about the food, don't get me wrong but the manager needs to pay more attention to how the girls treat customers and how they lack customer service. read more

Great alternative to behinehana this is a little place, a hidden gem. I've had it at their site as well as multiple food deliveries. Excellent price, overall rating extremely high, great for me. It's like having benianas at home but for half the price. Really like the options and picks and the price at one of my go-to places. I have to go at least once a month. I would highly recommend. Wife ordered here for Father's Day meal, and man they have fallen off. Food was not seasoned and steak was overcooked. After confirming with my wife that she ordered a chicken and steak combo , they gave her a chicken and shrimp combo. When told that the order was wrong she was told it would be 20+ minutes on top of the 20+ minutes she already waited. Having our young daughter with her, she told them she would just take the plate and asked since they got the order wrong if they could give a garlic butter sauce for the trouble. Entrees are a little more now but the amount and quality of food is sub par. We ordered: (1) Hibachi Cajun chicken w/steamed rice and (1) Hibachi Cajun chicken & shrimp with fried rice, the total being I think $32. The chicken was laughable. The pieces were cut up so small and black, I'm assuming due to the seasoning, and so dry and overcooked. Veggies were mostly onions and both entrees had huge portions of lumpy rice, I'm assuming to cover up for the amount/quality of the protein. Shrimp was okay but I get a couple of mushy shrimp bites aka not fresh and avoided those as I didn't want to risk food poisoning. Overall good place for drinks and the "hibachi" food. The chicken katsu was bland according to my friend. Also the two sauces it came with were a miss. The mayo/sriracha looking sauce had little to no flavor and the katsu sauce was mainly soy sauce. I liked their teriyaki (which I had to ask for) sauce. My steak and shrimp hibachi was good. Great portion too. With the veggies ITT does look like it came from teppan. My only gripe is a small section of my veggies were cold as where the rest of my meal was hot! I like you can get 32oz size drinks as most places that serve these types of drinks don't have that size. I'd come back. Everyone should try it at least once. read more
