I've been coming here for years and this spot has always been great! The amount of food they put in those containers is still mind blowing on how they even get them closed. When I go I usually get the same thing. Combo b. Chow mein no rice spicy orange chicken and either spicy teriyaki chicken or broccoli beef. The staff has always been very welcoming and helpful. It is a whole in the wall Chinese food place so expect that. You don't go there for an experience you go there to get your food to go and eat at home. It's perfect for that. Went here to order catering, I asked the young female employee if I can order 1/2 and 1/2 meats in one tray. She asked and was told it was fine. Placed the order to pick up at 2 pm on Saturday. I arrived at 2:14 pm. The older Mexican woman asked for my order. I told her I was there to pick up a catering order. Gave her my name she went to the back and with a nasty tone returned said " your order is not ready you're here early" and started helping other customers. I said "it's 2:14 what do you mean I'm early?" I looked at their wall clock and it was 1 hr behind. She responded "they are preparing it". What the Helli!! So now I'm waiting because they failed to have my order ready at the time requested. I ordered Teriyaki chicken and orange chicken. While she is cutting the teriyaki chicken she said " next time we will not offer 1/2 and 1/2 we don't do that because it doesn't look right." I really wanted to say " don't worry about it this is the last time I'll be bringing my business, paid $82.40 for a small container of chow main and small container of meat." Instead I said " don't care, it's going in and out and looking right doesn't matter." She only cut 4 pieces of teriyaki chicken!!!" I was so pissed but just wanted to leave and not make a scene. Food tasted like metallic sweeteners. Orange Chicken was bland with absolutely no spice at all. Rice was missing seasoning. Everything was mushy like I was being fed by a birds mouth. I have been going here for years. I think they may be under new ownership. The food does not taste the same. This use to be one of the few places I could get real bbq pork; not here not anymore now it taste like a glazed ham. I wanted to try their curry. Don't bother it does not taste like curry. It doesn't have any flavor at all. I tried to ask questions and the staff was rude. I can't believe this is the same place. It can't be ran by the same people. We used to love this place. The egg drop soup was best when we was sick. Got that today. Flavor was off. Overkill on onions in it. Never noticed onions in the egg drop soup before? The egg rolls very greasy. Usually my favorite Kung Pao chicken was just full of celery. Lots of celery! Very little chicken. Coconut shrimp was doughy not cooked. The bbq chicken flavor less. The girl checking us out first said the total was $41.00 then the manager corrected her then total came to $52.00. I used to love this place. Beware if you have any food allergies. They do not properly disclose what's in their food. I just ordered shrimp wonton soup- the only reason they call it this is because they add shrimp to the broth. The wontons are pork- something I'm very allergic to. Walked in today after a year of relocating to Redlands's because the food wasn't the same out there , but what met with a new face. I kindly asked if there were new owners simply because I've been a returning customer since 2015 build looks done and I didn't see the previous cashiers who were always welcoming and pretty much there every time I went and I was greeted by their kind smiles and I was actually welcomed in. The old wanna cholo dyke with white and gray hair had the nastiest attitude asking "why" and stating "they are just cashiers just like how we are just cashiers" and that "the food is the same". ABSOLUTELY you are correct just like they kept me coming back with hospitality AND the food . She will be the reason I will never return her sour ass mouth left a nastier one in mine. This is my favorite Chinese food place out of all the ones I've ever been to. I've been here quite a few times before and loved everything I've tried. Chow mein, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, broccoli beef, and egg rolls (which I'm picky about). I also had a wonton soup a while back that was so good, I even ate the mushrooms, which I usually don't like! The dumplings are made-to-order, done in a very reasonable amount of time, and soooo delicious. Everything is very tasty and not too greasy like some other places. Today I tried the Thai tea, so good and even the boba texture was just right. The experiences I've had at the restaurant have always been pleasant as well, have met many different staff members over the years and every single one has been nothing but kind and helpful. The restaurant itself is charming and always clean. It's about a 15 minute drive from me and there's lots of Chinese food places much closer, but it's always worth the distance. :) read more

This place is so delicious. I've been coming here for years and still love it. The prices are reasonable and the portions are extremely generous too. I love my white noodles and the coconut shrimp is delish! Place is always clean and the service is exceptional. Ladies are always nice and friendly when serving you. Happened to be in the area and spotted this. The reviews are accurate, this was by far one of the best Chinese Fast Food choices in the area (especially near Redlands/Yucaipa area). Jalapeño chicken was bomb, egg rolls, though small, were very tasty & held their crunchiness after we got home, everything looks good. As everyone expects more and more these days, it's important to remember where you're visiting. This is a quick serve Chinese food takeout restaurant. Not to be judged as a fancy place with valet service and a wine list longer than the actual menu. That being said, this place is probably one of the best in the area. The food is always hot and they'll make more of something if it's not looking good in the display case. The fried rice is good and not very greasy at all. The chowmein is delicious as is their white rice. The white rice is not dry at all as it can be in other places. I've tried the majority of the dishes and they're all really good and I'll rotate but it's hard to make the choice. Lately I've been sticking with orange chicken and the red teriyaki chicken and other times I'll get broccoli beef, mushroom chicken or kung pow chicken. The garlic shrimp (a la carte item) are also delicious, they are a little pricy for the portion size. Regardless, the flavor and satisfaction is undeniable. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because they don't offer veggies as part of their rice/chowmein substitute as some places do. Honestly this was so good! My husband remembers going her as a kid. So we finally got the chance to good and it was perfect! The Thai tea could've used a little more cream but still 4/5 great flavor good size for price. I got no boba. We both got the beef and broccoli with orange chicken and fried rice chow mein and vermicelli noodles. Everything had good flavor the beef wasn't tough broccoli wasn't over cooked still had some crunch which we personally prefer in our veggies. Large portions, a pretty selective menu, and the same owner has a donut/sandwich shop right next door. The style is more a southern Chinese style cooking because of the stronger spice they use in their dishes. They also tend to have spicier foods too but if you're like me that can't handle the slice, it's all right. There's a fair amount of non spicy dishes too. They tend to use a lot of garlic so be forewarned. Oh man, it does add taste regardless. Staff is very attentive and every time I come here, they greet you with a warm smile and welcoming. I like that. It's not a big restaurant, but there are chairs and tables for a dine in experience. For dessert, I'll jump over next door for some ice cream and donuts lol. Back to the Chinese food. Because they are southern style cuisines, they tend to have a stronger taste so if you have a sensitive stomach, I recommend you get the steam rice instead of fried rice. Order the chow mein as usual and you're two items. I like to get the fried fish and chicken green beans. I'll alternate with sweet and sour chicken because it's much lighter. The fried fish is very good even without the sauce because again, they season it fairly heavily. Mostly in the batter I think. But they're so tender and fresh each time I get it. And they're rather large too. Not just some fish stick size portions. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate coming back. As long as I'm in the area and feeling super hungry, I'll definitely stop by. For the price and the huge amount of portions they give you (at times, they can't even close the lid lol), it's an excellent value. read more
