    Chicken Aglio Olio
    Paulina G.

I've walked by this restaurant a couple of times and finally was able to try their food. I ordered the Chicken Aglio Olio and the Chicken udon plate. First, if you are sensitive to heat, choose to omit the chili flakes and go light on the black pepper, otherwise the default will be extremely spicy. I wish this was called out on the ordering kiosk. The food was just okay, the Aglio Olio didn't really have much flavor to it. The butter they put on top of the pasta didn't do much to the dish but make it oily. The Chicken Udon was very spicy because of the chili flakes. Not sure if I will eat here again, since there are other restaurants here.

This place has terrible udon soup. Broth is bland! Meat scanty, you have to pay for each additional item. I was really looking forward to enjoying a nice hot bowl of soup on a cold day but to my disappointment I made a bad choice. Sorry Sizzlin' Place you really need to improve bc there are lots of other restaurants out there that has much better food.

After walking in circles for 15 minutes trying to decide what to eat me and my lady decided to try it out. I went with the steak and it had zero flavor, I had to dip it in soy sauce. My lady's beef was also flavorless until she mixed it with the rice. On top of the flavorless food the beer was $7 for a skinny can. Not sure I'd come back. Hopefully they make some adjustments to seasoning the meat.

You place your order at a little machine right in front of the restaurant and it's very easy to figure out. You give your number and they text you when your order is ready. I highly recommend the New York steak plate and the pork tonkatsu. The food comes out within ten minutes or so and if you walk around, the time goes by fast. The plate was $21.99, very reasonable, but the tonkatsu was $8 for a few pieces (pricey for me). I loved my steak plate but the tonkotsu not as much because it had many chewy bits. I don't think they used the good parts of the pig in making this. Nevertheless, I give them five stars because of the awesome service and delicious food.

Located at the Rancho Cucamonga Haven City Market. Customer service is excellent! Everyone is so kind and helpful. Prices are great! Portions are perfect and fill you up! The food is soooooo delicious ! I come here often for lunch around 11:30am -12:00pm, throughout the week and right before rush hits! Trust, there is always a rush here! I love their self service kiosk menu, it's super easy and if you need help, the workers are there to assist. Definitely recommend to all that comes to Haven City Market, it's a must try!

Delicious sizzling hot food served on sizzling plates! Meat seasoned and prepared to perfection complemented with hearty veggies. In addition to the tantalizing aroma of grilled meat, the hissing sounds and smoke of the iron plate do a perfect job stimulating one's appetite. This place has its own tables so you don't have to worry about not being able to find a place to eat in the busy food hall after ordering. Service is fast and amicable. I highly recommend trying this place out next time you visit Haven Market!

We recently tried Sizzlin Place at Haven City Market and had a great experience! I ordered the Upsize Hot Plate Beef with a side egg and cheese sauce, as well as the Hot Plate Beef with corn and cheese sauce, plus a side of Takoyaki order 5 pcs. Everything came out sizzling and packed with flavor. The beef was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, and the portions were generous. The employees were helpful and nice, and the place was kept clean, even with the busy atmosphere. If you're craving something flavorful and fun, definitely check this spot out. !!!BEWARE ROTTEN FOOD SERVED TO CUSTOMERS!!!!!!Ate here yesterday and it was the most disgusting place I ever had food! At first I was excited to try their food as it looks good on the picture but then when we tried it everything was disgusting and low quality! Ordered the $28 Angus Steak which turned out to be a low and cheap quality steak. It was flavorless and tough to chew! The second item I ordered was the chicken katsu which was made with an old dried chicken that seems to have been frozen and refried multiple times to hide the horrendous quality. It's like eating a stale beef jerky. Lastly was the worst food on the menu, the grilled KAMA fish! It was made with the scrapped belly of the fish and not the actual KAMA which is false advertising but the worst part was it stink like a dead rat! It was rooted and you can smell it even before it got close to our table. We tried to take it back but the owner "OLD BALD ASIAN GUY" refused to refund our money! DO NOT EVER COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET FOOD POISONING!!!! They should not be allowed to serve food to customers! Again DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! HORRIBLE FOOD AND HORRIBLE MANAGER!!! ZERO STAR!!!

They're called "Sizzlin Place" for a reason, and they are definitely sizzlin'. I took my siblings out to lunch on Saturday. Being that they're picky, I decided to take them to a food haul so they can choose what they want to eat. Parking: Free parking lot. Plenty of spots and easy to find. Ambiance/Environment: This spot is located inside Haven City Market. When you enter through the main entrance, go straight and it'll be on the right. Love the open space. There's limited seating. The seats and tables were nice and clean. Service: Shout out to Abbie! You'd order via the kiosk. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us good recommendations to try. My siblings surprisingly wanted to eat here too. We appreciated her assistance & explanation with the menu. What we ordered: 1) Chicken Katsu (appetizer) - This isn't your usual chicken Katsu. They use a different breading. Their version was still crispy but had more flavors. It sat on a bed of chopped lettuce and served with rice on the side. 2) Aji Fry Fish - The crunch on the first bite was unbelievable. Don't worry, there's no bone. This was also served on a bed of lettuce and mayo dipping sauce. 3) Deluxe Diced Cut Steak & Salmon - Careful for the sizzle! This was served on a hot plate. You might get occasional oil splashes lol. This dish came with steak, salmon, corn, carrots, and green beans. The steak was cooked medium rare (my fav), the salmon was cooked well, and the sides tasted as usual. The flavors were bland, but it was fun to eat. 4) Teriyaki Grill Fish Belly - Again, careful for the sizzle! This was also served on a hot plate. The fish was cooked well, and they were not shy with the teriyaki sauce! Make sure to completely break the rice and mix everything together. There's more seasoning in the rice! 5) Udon Spicy Shrimp Plate - Careful for the sizzle x3! The presentation was on point. The shrimps were medium sized and seasoned well. It wasn't as spicy as I'd like but still delicious. Make sure to melt the butter while the plate is still hot and mix everything, so the udon isn't too dry. 6) Mango Strawberry Iced Black Tea w/ Lychee Jelly - Don't miss out on the drinks! Before my sister slurped this entire drink, I was able to take a sip. This was absolutely refreshing! The strawberry came through! 7) Cold Brew Passion Fruit Iced Green Tea w/ Strawberry Popping Boba - This was my favorite! You can really taste the green tea still. Not too sweet. The popping boba was fun to eat. Pricing: Of course, prices are $$$ in a food haul like this. My siblings and I really enjoyed the sizzlin' hot plates, the flavors of each dish, and refreshing drinks.

A nice restaurant in haven city market rancho cucamonga. The sizzling plates are really hot and nice. I had the deluxe plate and rice plate. Steak was very tender and it's served medium but after the sizzling has gone it become well done. The fish belly rice plate was totally worth trying. The belly was so tender and rice was properly seasoned with sauce. Sides and drinks are extras but I think the portion of the main dishes are already pretty big for me. Quick and lovely service.

Great food, great service. Been here multiple times now and the food and service have been excellent each time! They have a good variety of dishes, I always love getting the hot plates for the crunchy rice that burns on the plate. Sizzlin' Place is definitely a Haven City gem, not really any other pepper lunch places around Rancho that I know of. Plus it's a unique stall compared to the other restaurants in there. They also have their own seating in case Haven City is packed when you're there, their soft lighting and counter top seating is pretty nice. 5/5 for this place all around.

Come with me to try the amazing sizzlin dishes. All sauces are made in house! Highlights of the menu: 1. Diced cut steak & shrimp deluxe teriyaki 2. Udon salmon plate 3. Ebi furai - prawn donburi 4. Chicken tonkatsu 5. Watermelon iced tea

staff was so nice and food was fast and tasty, would come back! it doesnt look like a huge difference between regular size portion vs large, but once mixed it definitely was worth the extra

What stood out to me was the rice to fish ratio. The rice was small and the fish was generously thick, which made every bite super satisfying. I honestly can't remember having sushi quite like that before. The chefs are from Japan, so you can tell the food is authentic. We also ordered the teriyaki bowl. It was okay, but nothing special. The Chirashi bowl, on the other hand, was packed with fish and definitely worth the price. Overall, if you're a sushi lover, I'd highly recommend giving this place a try.

There are limited booth seating (about 4 booths), one larger table, and roughly a dozen counter seats. We were a party of 4 with another group of 3 expected at the counter, so we were told next availability would be 7pm. But the owner (also the sushi/master chef) stepped in and offered to squeeze in an extra chair for us at the bar. We happily said yes, and that pretty much set the tone for the night. The ambiance is a cute, homey Japanese-style spot. It's calm and quiet enough to actually have a conversation, which I really appreciated. The owner was also cracking jokes throughout the night and kept everyone entertained, which made the experience feel even more personal. Food highlights: * Eihire (seared stingray fin) - 9/10. Great drinking snack, just wish there was more. * Grilled Angus beef tongue - 9/10. Tender with a really good jalapeño sauce. * Hokkaido uni tray with roasted nori - 10/10. Favorite dish of the night, easily. * Chicken liver, gizzard, and hearts in sweet soy - 10/10. Super rich and flavorful. * Whole grilled seabass - 9.5/10. Perfectly cooked, but could've used more ponzu. * Sous vide + grilled duck breast - 8/10. Solid, especially with salt and hot mustard. The mashed potatoes and roasted veggies on the side were . * Deep fried eel with ponzu - 7/10. Decent, but didn't stand out compared to the other dishes. * Sashimi (amberjack, hamachi, toro, sweet shrimp) - overall great. The sweet shrimp and fried head were 10/10, but the hamachi didn't quite match the rest. Also wish they gave more ginger upfront. * Roasted 5 kinds of vegetables - 7/10. Tasty but a bit pricey for the portion. * Sea snail - the only dish we wouldn't reorder. Not bad, just not our preferred style. Service was excellent. Our server gave great recommendations, kept our water filled, and checked in often without being overbearing. This is a 5-star spot largely because of the owner. Super down to earth, funny, and clearly passionate about both the food and the experience. Parking is free in a shared lot with other businesses. It's a decent size, so should be manageable. Definitely recommend making a reservation (they only take phone reservations)... but even if you don't, there's a good chance they'll still find a way to take care of you. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes.

There is a physical Drink menu (sake, beer, etc.) and the food menu can be viewed by scanning a QR code with your phone. The waitress made suggestions about which dishes she personally liked & we ordered whatever she suggested, along with some of the things we thought looked good. *7/10 Toro w/ seaweed *8/10 Moriwase (chef's selection of sashimi) 2 each of 5 different sashimi. There was one cut I did not particularly care for. *7/10 chicken wings *10/10 Beef tongue-- Tender, but firm. Delicious, a must try! *10/10 Ankimo-- creamy and paired well with the ponzu and fresh seaweed *10/10 Fried Seabass-- they served the entire fish, which is rare. *10/10 Sous-vide Duck breast-- must try! *10/10 Nikomi stew--simple, but delicious! *10/10 Matcha Oolong Panna Cotta-- subtly sweet with a smooth texture. It was so good, that we ordered two! The only reason that I only gave it a four out of five stars is because the service was slow. All of our dishes, came out in time, but no drink refills were given and the server never came back to collect our check for payment. So we had to walk it up to them ourselves. For a small space, with three servers, it shouldn't be hard to attend to all the customers. The menu can be pricey, but food is delicious! Along with exceptional service, eating here is worth it.
