family-restaurant by day. Party club by night and same menu all day! No dancing or anything, just the same regular seating butttt now with cool hip vibes! There is a sign at the door saying loud music starts at 8PM everyday, but when I was there on a Thurs, the music and lights started at 9:24PM. The lasers they have for the night time club vibes are honestly next level. OKAY! the food!! The prices look high ($17 -$20) but they are GIANT portions. Perfect to share or save for lunch the next day. We tried the Vietnamese sandwich ( a.k.a (Bánh Mì) ($9-$10) They are good size and great presentation! The service was also excellent. To pay, you are supposed to go up to the white tablet on the counter. Ooohhhh one small thing. There was a crazy bad smell that lasted maybe 7 mintues tops around 9pm. They might have been cooking durian or something but thats just a hopeful guess. I wouldn't count that against this place or anything since it didnt last long and hopefully probably part of the culinary process. we were there for a good 2 hours abd everything smelled very pleasent the majority of the time. Was craving for some Vietnamese foods. Found this restaurant. The place has some cool decors. Never thought to find Mario from the Super Mario game to be here. We came in for an early dinner. Got seated right away. Menu looks nice. We ordered the followings: - A7. Hanoi Spring Rolls (2) (Bánh Tráng Cuốn) - G4. Grilled Beef Sandwiches (Bánh Mì Bò Nướng) - A16. Steam Rice Rolls (Bánh Cuốn) I normally get Phở, but the Steam Rice Rolls caught my eyes, so I got that. It was very good. One of my favorite Vietnamese dishes. The Grilled Beef Sandwiches was also good. The beef was well seasoned. As for the Hanoi Spring Rolls, that was an interesting item. This is the first time I tried this. It is not your typical spring rolls. This must be a specialty from the Hanoi region? It was an interesting taste. It has a crunch to it. Not too bad. While dining there, I saw a sign that they play loud music after 8 or 9 pm. Also saw some lighting equipment hanging from the ceiling. They open till midnight. I'm guessing this place double as a restaurant during the day and turns into a night club at night? This is a unique setup. I got the C8. Sizzling beef and egg Bò né. Ended up paying $27 with tax. It was very good and it came with a large warm toasty bread. The egg was very good as well and the meat was very tender, it would dissolve in mouth. The only thing that I noticed is different, that the sausage in the menu photo is larger than the one that came in the plate. I was a little disappointed with that. I came here for the A16. Steamed rice rolls but unfortunately I was too late. This dish is so popular that they often run out midday. So instead I ordered yellow pancake dish which came out extra crispy like tostada chips. It was tasty, made with shrimp and pork and bean sprouts. I absolutely love the tower of lettuce & herb that came with the dish. The pancake was a bit too crispy which made it hard to wrapped with the lettuce, but I enjoyed the meal. I also ordered the egg rolls, and to my surprise, they made the filling with a whole large shrimp in each roll. Their menu has changed so I recommend calling first before traveling from a different city. They do not offer pressed sugarcane juice anymore which was one of the reasons I came. The price was reasonable. This place is located in a well lit area with a lot of parking. There's only 1 way to enter and exit. And one way Street coming in and and out. WOW!! WOW!! Ever since I went to Vietnam 2 years ago and tried Bun Cha in Hanoi, I've been searching for a place that makes the same delicious Bun Cha. I've tried one in Santa Ana but this place just knocks it out of the park!! The meat is perfectly grilled and cooked and the flavor is just the perfect balance of the fish sauce and sweetness that every bite is pure umami flavor!! It's the same as what I've had in Hanoi!! It's SO DELICIOUS and an order can be good for 2 people. And because I was curious of how their Pho tastes, I asked for a small bowl of broth and it was amazing! They've been only open for 3 weeks in the new location in Ontario. Lots of parking but make sure if you're coming in as a group, to make a reservation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. There are a lot of pho places but Hanoi Kitchen does theirs a little different which separates them from the rest. Their more central style of Vietnamese food and diverse menu really make the drive here worth it vs eating somewhere closer to me. Today I ordered the pho dac biet (combination). I thoroughly enjoyed the thicker noodle and the rich broth. My girlfriend ordered the banh xeo which came out massive! I go through banh xeo at home like hotcakes but the one here were filling. Since they've moved I decided to try the new location and it was not up to par. The beef dish i got had bad bell peppers. They were rancid and not good at all. New location is very colorful with bright lights and the acoustics are loud. Definitely only go off you don't want to talk to your date at night which honestly, sometimes that's a thing so I'm not mad about it! But, overall the pho and our food dish was pretty disappointing which ducked because I had raved about the place earlier. We had to seek out a server to order and pay which was fine I guess. I went back in and mentioned the crispy roll was missing and was told they ran out. I asked for extra pickled veggies and he gave me some. The sauce isn't the most flavorful but not bad. They moved to this location from Indian Hill Claremont a few months ago. Service is always prompt and courteous, and the place is always clean with a few Instagram perfect nooks . This is my go to place for Pho lots of meat, tasty broth and the noodles have a good bite to it. You can also ask to substitute the noodles with bean sprouts if you wanna skip carbs. It was 9pm and I wanted pho. Turns out there is a super lit Vietnamese restaurant that stays open until 12am/midnight ! To make the experience better, the play edm music and they turn the bass UP! Laser shows and smoke machines are included! Really loved walking in, the servers were very nice and the food is delicious! My wife and I wanted to eat Pho, but it was 9:30pm. Most Vietnamese Restaurants in Rancho Cucamonga and surrounding cities are closed. I searched the internet for "Soup open now". To my surprise, Hanoi Kitchen came up and they are open until 12am. Hanoi Kitchen just opened for business 2 weeks prior. My wife and I drove there and was totally surprised. There were laser lights, Techno music, and a fog machine going on inside the restaurant. Apparently, this dining ambiance starts at 8pm to 12am every night. It was so fun inside and the food was delicious. We ordered Filet Mignon Pho Noodle Soup and Vegetable/Tofu Pho Noodle Soup. The service was quick and attentive. The owner came to our table to speak with us and he was really nice. My wife and I will come here again and sample the other dishes. This is a fun and unique place with good food. Love their authentic Hanoi's pho noodle soup. They also have vegetarian dishes. The Drinks there are so delicious. I tried the jasmine iced milk tea. It was beyond the amazing. If you ever have watched Anthony Bourdain's show where he eats with Obama, there is a dish in the show that is served at this restaurant and it is amazing!! This place was such a let down. We went here since there's been so much hype about the unique "rave meets pho" atmosphere, and we were looking for something new to try, but we left super disappointed. There's a small sign out front that warns people about the loud music starting at 8 pm, which we thought was a good sign! It was a Friday night at 8:40 when we arrived, but nothing special was going on, and it looked like any other restaurant inside. We ended up leaving at 9:45, and the party lights and music never came on. When we got the check, we asked the server what time the music starts and he said at 9:00. We didn't get to see the cool party part, but no biggie since we'd be back if the food was good....it wasn't. We got a banh mi, pho, and egg rolls. The bahn mi bread was soft and crunchy, but that was about the only good thing about it. The pork in the sandwich was not flavored at all. The Pho broth was clear and absolutely the most watery and unflavored pho broth I've ever had. I wanted to add a side of meatballs to my pho, but was told I need to buy a separate bowl... like what. The egg rolls were the only thing that was actually good from our order. The servers and bussers were nice, but not attentive at all. We received a small cup of water when we arrived. Once we received our food, we only saw the server when he was helping other tables. No one ever came back to offer more water or check in on us. To be fair, the server did the same thing to all tables. So all in all, we didn't get to experience the uniqueness of this place, but even worse is that the food was not good. Needless to say, we won't be back. I now understand why the Claremont location didn't last. read more
