JiaJia Ng Noodles compared to Dan noodles slightly different taste

I just had to do a quick stop by and try and back to work I go. Emma was New and oh she was super sweet and very helpful. I would totally come back Restaurant is very clean and so is the restrooms. That's very important to me.

The bun leaned dry and firm, with minimal taro inside. Even then, the filling was bland and noticeably under-sweetened.

TikTok hype vs. reality My wife and I tried coming here a few months ago when it went viral on TikTok. The wait was over an hour, so we passed. We finally came back this past Friday during dinner time... and it was surprisingly empty. Only about four parties dining in. That already told me the hype train might've left the station. Let's start with the Rainbow Xiao Long Bao dumplings. They were honestly disappointing. A bit hard, kind of dry, and nowhere near as juicy as other spots doing the same thing. When you're selling dumplings, that bite better be bursting and these just weren't. The cute kitty bun (which honestly is one of the main reasons people come here) looked adorable... but taste-wise? Dry. Not enough filling. The taro wasn't sweet or flavorful enough to really qualify as dessert. It had potential but didn't deliver. Popcorn chicken was decent. They had solid flavor, but it could've been crispier. The spicy & sweet cucumbers were okay too, but presentation matters. They were chopped pretty sloppy. A little more care in plating would go a long way. Now credit where it's due. The House Special Beef Noodle Soup was actually very good. Rich broth, comforting, especially with the cold weather. Maybe it stood out because the other items underwhelmed, or maybe it's genuinely their strongest dish. Either way, that bowl saved the visit. Overall, Bun World definitely has potential. The concept is cute and social-media friendly, but flavor and execution need to catch up to the hype. Based on how packed it was before vs. how empty it was this time... there might be a reason. 3 stars. Not terrible. Not amazing. Just... okay.

They have such cute buns at this restaurant! The menu is available by scanning the barcode at the end of the tables. The staff works pretty quickly to get your order out once you place it online. I wasn't a huge fan of the buns themselves in terms of flavor but all the characters were really cute and they were pretty study, they didn't crumble once. I like the beef roll, the XLBs, and the popcorn chicken best. I had a good experience.

We were here in Ontario for a weekend conference. Wanted to eat a quick lunch. Found Bun World was very close to our hotel. Dining area was clean and brightly lit. Our server was friendly and very helpful. My wife and I ordered an orange lemon passion green tea iced drink. The drink was very refreshing and tasty. We ordered the pork and shrimp Xiao long bao, pork steamed dumplings, pork and shrimp steamed dumplings and the special pork Xiao long bao. Each dish was served steaming hot and each dish had its own delicious fresh taste. The dumplings all tasted better than many large popular chain restaurants.

Tik tok you failed me . I had high hopes for this place but I was sadly disappointed . Me and. My boyfriend wanted to try this place out because of the cute shaped buns . We got seated right away because the place wasn't too busy and you order from the QR code at the table . I got the strawberry milk tea and it was okay . I couldn't finish it . The tea was warm and cold at the same time because they put ice in it . The pikachu bun with fries was just sad . The bun had no flavor and the amount of lettuce and tomato they put on it was sad . The spring rolls were just oaky and the dipping sauce provided was nothing to write home about . The service there was fine and the server checked on us periodically . Overall U give this place a three out of five but it's not somewhere were I would go out of my way to eat out here .

Before I walked through the doors, I can smell the authentic cooking. My mouth was watering before I can open the menu. Here is the menu link btw https://order.mealkeyway.com/customer/release/selfDineIn?randomStr=e3e0384592d042e992ef92a56ed4b0f3 If the link is unavailable, I put the QR code to the menu in my photos. I ordered shrimp and pork wonton soup and hello kitty buns. I wanted to order all the buns but my tummy just can't handle all of it in one sitting. I have no choice but to drive all the way up here My soup was made fresh, base of soup taste delicious, my hello kitty bun was so cute that at first I didn't want to eat it, inside was taro ! For those who know me, I hold a high standard for soup and taro. Let's just say this place has my heart .

Place had a cute vibes with the color orange motiff which liven up the v cozy ambience! No table service ! Every numbered table has QR code to scan to place your order! Well how can I start this review to justify the 3 Stars! First when we were looking into where to go that we haven't been before this Bun World menu of the braised pork belly got me famished! It was not as flavorful as I had expected , the meat was not as tender and was not the sweet taste that I was hoping for !!! No serving spoons were served with the dishes: Shrimp egg fried rice was delicious! The pork XL needed more soup! The chicken corn dumplings were dry! The hello kitty bun was bland and so the taro filling was not sweet enough to be considered as a dessert ! I can say The best dish was the Pan Fried Bokchoy! Beef noodle was bland in taste! Sorry this Bun World Ontario location will be a while for me to try the second time ...

Trying this place for the first time. Was drawn here because of their Braised Pork Belly. The interior is nice, bright, and clean. However, the tables are a bit small. I don't know how we managed to put all those steam trays and eat the foods at the same time. It was very cramp. We needed a third table just to hold the rest of the foods. Food was ordered from scanning the QR code on the table with your phone. The staffs were friendly and welcoming. Service was ok. We ordered the followings to share: - Shrimp Egg Fried Rice (was good but a little bland to me) - Stir Fried Bok Choy (was light in flavor, but still good) - House Special Beef Noodle Soup (again light in flavor, not enough soup. Noodles and beef were good) - Corn & Chicken Xiao Long Bao (a little dry, not enough liquid inside) - Braised Pork Belly (meat was good and soft, but a little lack in flavor, compares to what I'm used to eating at other establishments) - Pork Xiao Long Bao (it was ok, nothing that would stand out) - Cute Cat Bun (looks cute, it was good, lightly sweet, not too bad) Overall, it was ok. It would have been a better dining experience if they had bigger tables to hold all the steam trays.

Place looked nice. I liked interior color scheme picked. Looks cool and clean at first impression but noticed right a way a few pieces of papers on the floor as we enter. Ok service. Ambiance was casual, quiet for the most part. Food not so bad but not so great either. I like the bokchoy and fried rice. Pork belly was soft and gelatinous but a bit salty . Beef noodle soup did not have much different flavor than pork belly. Pork XL was savory but wish had more of the juicy liquid in it. Chicken XL was very dry and dough was too chewy and dry. Hello kitty taro bun was ok. Not too sweet and fits my health Issue limit. Very nice presentation though. Biggest take away of the place was the restroom. Smell was like fresh sewage. Huge mistake for me going there after eating. Felt like the food that just got in wanted to get out. Not a fun experience. Not sure if I would want to go back again.

If you're carving dim sum or noodles in Ontario Mills, stop by Bun World. Their dumplings are top-notch! So many different flavors and you can't go wrong with any choice. Wait staff is very attentive, and committed to helping you get exactly what you want. The menu is a bit large, so the help is very welcome. They also have a number of specials, coupons, and other ways to get a good value. So keep a lookout for that. Everything else is of the highest quality, so fresh, and delicious. Give them a visit.

Visited for a quick meal & service was friendly and sat me right away. The crab xialongbao came out steaming hot & filled with really tender pork & crab. They offer chili oil, vinegar, soy sauce & sriracha on the side as well. Got the jasmine milk tea, a little watery but maybe it's because I put 75% sweet. Overall would come back if in the area feeling snackish.

Friendly service. You have to scan for the menu. The dumplings were delicious. We finished 2 orders of the fried green beans. The fried rice was good. The sesame balls were delicious along with the soup dumplings. It was all good! Prices were decent. Ambiance was quaint, comfortable and clean. I found Bun World on the socials, so glad we tried it while we were in the area.

I'm quite disappointed in Bun World. We arrived a little after opening and there was a wait. We were told 30 mins but it had been at least an hour before we were sat. This place honestly needs more employees. Its new, its trending, its popular. There were only 2 people attending to the front of house. We saw a chef come out and help bus the tables. The food came out sporadically likely due to the lack of employees. A lot of the popular items were sold out. I encourage putting up sold out signs so people aren't waiting the whole time to be told the item is sold out. The food was mediocre. A lot of the dishes lacked flavor and some were cold. I would not come back. There are many dumpling houses nearby.

Ordered Spicy Szechuan Crispy Chilli Chicken Mixed Beef…read moreSlices in hot Sauce Local Hunan Flavored Lamb And Szechuan Cold Noodles I always thought this place in the past was an offshoot of the Red Chilli Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga / Upland by the 99 Ranch Supermarket, but I guess it deviates way far from both the Red Chilli Restaurants in Redlands and Upland from 8-15 years ago. I cant justify any of these dishes making me want to consume bowls upon bowls of rice. That's what spicy Szechuan and Hunan food is supposed to do....it should make you awaken your taste buds, with the power of their chilli peppers, Szechuan green & red peppercorns, and the umamis derived from MSG. Nope, I didn't crave the Lazi Chicken...nor the Hot Oil Beef Mix... Not the Cold Noodles, and I left with a $122 receipt in hand for 2 more takeout items on top of the 4 main dishes I've shared.....and I felt pretty empty. Empty in a sense, I could DO BETTER at home mixing my own Szechuan Cold Noodles, with Home Made Chili Oil, Sesame Paste, Sugar. Chicken Bullion, Minced Garlic, Vinegar, and Cilantro. I almost felt robbed here.....either every dish was lacking peppercorns and numbness, or it was missing Umami, Alot of it...so I leave anyone who wants to challenge my opinion otherwise and prove me wrong that the food here indeed belongs in a long list of top notch Szechuan Hunan Restaurants in Los Angeles. Even if this place opened up in Phoenix, I'm sorry, it's going to rank in the lower end of the bell curve. It was a hot day. I felt the service lady doesn't know how to tell "Customers Need Ice Water" and I had to vocally tell her ice and water please. I don't know, been a long week, haven't gone home for 10 days and just been bouncing on and off my rig all across the US....I just wanted some food I could really enjoy today, and Chili Bistro failed to deliver.
